The beds were a bit uncomfortable as obviously 2 single mattresses put together to make a double making a seam down the middle and the feeling of rolling into each other.

Great local pub with excellent staff. Greay beers and good food and a nice beer garden and bar games inside. Nice rooms with comfy beds and good bathrooms albeit shower over bath rather than separate.

We stayed during heatwave and the rooms were extremely hot even with fans. Having windows open was very noisy outside with early morning bin collections and some kind of condenser. Saying that, most places will have struggled with that heat so cant lay blame on the pub really! Parking on the street was fine overnight but during the day very expensive. Minor points though...a great place to stay.

The staff that gave us the key was very warm and welcoming🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🙌👏. He did a good security check by not giving my friend key until I sent my booking reference because my friend got there before me👌🏻🙌🙌😀 The room was so neat and spacious 👌🏻🤩🥰 The bathroom was so clean👏👏 The bed is so comfy 😅🙏🏻

There was no fridge in the room🫣🫣 At least a table fridge will be ideal The rooms are on the 2nd floor...one should be able to chill her drinks and relax.....not running down the stairs to buy needed things😎😎 Why is there no iron in the room afterall you left hair dryer in the room🤔🤔 Please fix the toilet window Buy a better bin in the toilet....not the cooking pot cover you left there🫣🫣🫣

Me and my daughter stayed here for a concert at Wembley and we were really impressed. The room exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t believe how nice it was for the money. The lady who showed us to our room was lovely too, we will definitely look to stop here again for future London trips.

In a difficult situation, the staff tried to assist. The pub downstairs is nice.

We booked a room with sofabed. It was totally broken. The maintenance person was called but as it was a Saturday could not come! You will see the state of the tired facilities. The place needs some care and attention. If you charge £150 per night you at least expect a respectable room that is maintained.

Good location close to shops cafes and regular buses from the street outside. Friendly helpful staff easy check in and check out comfortable bed. Grateful for the fan in hot weather. Good value for money for London prices in a central location.

Configuration of room called Lambeth Bridge had shower cubicle within bedroom by the door which meant floor was wet in an inconvenient place. Could do with hooks behind doors for towels and wash bags. Sink in toilet room too small for size of kettle to fill to make tea. We used the bottled water instead. Not major issues but would improve the stay.

This is a beautiful authentic english experience. The rooms are well appointed with lots of historic character. The building is clean and well maintained, very comfortable bed and large room. Easy access even after pub hours.

I stayed in late July and there is no air conditioning and only a very small, partially working fan so the room got very very hot during the day and overnight. The windows do open but there is traffic noise early morning, and music until about 11pm (though it's above the pub so that is to be expected) so bring ear plugs if you want to keep the window open.

I loved the friendliness of staff, and the beer garden! Stayed in the lovely & spacious Tower Bridge room, with a bed, sofabed, seats, coffee corner, two televisions, and a bathroom with a bath.

Bit stuffy in the top room but it really cannot be helped, just keep the windows open!

Sehr ursprüngliches uriges Haus. Lage in Hammersmith sehr zentral und eine gute Anbindung. Freundliche Mitarbeiter mit guten Pub und essen direkt im Haus.

Durch die Lage direkt an der Straße und keine Klimaanlage war das Lüften nur mit erheblichem Lärm der Straße möglich. Das Hotel müsste schon mal ein bisschen renoviert werden.

Super freundliche Mitarbeiter. Ideale Lage nur wenige Meter von der District Line entfernt. Es gab kein Frühstück, was jedoch kein Problem darstellte, weil es in unmittelbarer Nähe mehrere nette kleine Cafés als Alternative gibt. Hier buche ich beim nächsten Aufenthalt gerne wieder!

Det var smutsigt/dammigt i hela rummet, trasig dusch dörr, trasig tv, lamporna glappade/blinkade i badrummet. Extremt varmt. Fanns en fläkt som var smutsig som vi själva fick göra rent. Stod att frukost på rummet var möjligt, men fanns ingen möjlighet till att få det. Stod att det fanns room service, men det fanns inte heller. Maten vi beställde i restaurangen första kvällen var iskall inuti.

Location, location, location! This hotel is situated in a fantastic spot, just a stone’s throw from plenty of restaurants, pubs, and lovely places to explore around Hammersmith. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to eat, enjoy a drink, or simply wander along the Thames, everything is within easy walking distance. We arrived on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised to find a DJ playing in the bar area. It created such a lovely atmosphere and meant we could enjoy great music, relax with a drink, and soak up the vibe without even needing to head out. It was the perfect way to start our weekend and really added to the overall experience.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room let the stay down. There was a noticeable amount of dust, particularly behind the bedside units, the mugs provided in the room had tea stains on them, and there was hair in several places. We found hair on the shower panels, throughout the carpet, and even on the bed. It gave the impression that the room had not been cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been before our arrival. Whilst we absolutely loved the outdoor seating area, we were disappointed by the inconsistency in how it was managed. On the Friday evening, we were told that, as hotel guests, we were welcome to continue sitting outside with our drinks after the pub had closed to the public. We had a lovely, quiet evening chatting, and there was no excessive noise or disturbance. However, on the Saturday evening, different members of staff told us everyone had to leave the garden at a set time to prevent members of the public from coming into the area. Whilst we completely understand the need to manage access, it was frustrating because there is a gate that can be closed, and we felt there were other ways to restrict entry without asking paying hotel guests to leave. Management could simply ensure that members of the public do not enter the garden after closing and direct smokers to the front of the building instead. It was not so much the rule itself that disappointed us, it was the inconsistency. Being told one thing on Friday and something completely different on Saturday left us feeling as though, despite staying at the hotel, we were not being treated as valued guests.

Wij vonden het helemaal fantastisch,het personeel was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zag er zo gezellig uit,echt helemaal leuk!

Er was maar 1 minpunt en dat was dat er geen airco was,het hielp natuurlijk niet dat wij er midden in de hittegolf waren.

Amazing location, friendly staff, large room. It was really quiet despite the Wolrd Cup match that day! Spending a lot of time in hotels, I appreciated the fact that this was not your usual run-of-the-mill place but that it had character, with beautiful furniture.

The WiFi is not the best, but with hotspotting on my phone, I was able to get a good signal and even stream some series, so this is not the end of the world!

Good location close to train, no noise from it. Easy to find and pub didn’t stay open to late so minimal noise for me in mid week. Tho I didn’t venture downstairs I did check in found it looked in great order, I wouldn’t hesitate in future to come here.

No negatives other then shower room was bit restrictive head height, I’d stay again just request not to be in eaves, otherwise would certainly stay again.

I absolutely loved the Prince of Wales — it has such a warm, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful; they make you feel looked after in that proper, old‑school way that’s hard to find. The whole place is full of charm, and the hotel rooms were gorgeous too — full of character, beautifully kept, and really cosy. Staying there feels special, like you’ve found a little gem.

It was a nice building, in a quiet location. The bedroom and bathroom were really nice. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

This is not the hotel's fault at all, but we happened to be staying there when temperatures were 32 degrees +, and our room was at the top of the building, with only a small window, so it was incredibly hot! They did put a fan in the room, which helped slightly but not much. Again, this is not something the hotel could help!

A nice welcome from Kayley at the bar who was very helpful showing me to my room and giving me all the details I needed to know. Nice bed and nice shower. Appreciated the cooling fans and the bottled water in the heat.

In a residential area of Hammersmith, it's quiet but only a few minutes walk to transport and shops, good location for me. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had everything I needed.

IT WAS A GREAT LOCATION NEAR THE RIVER AND A DESCENT SIZED ROOM

THE BED WAS A LITTLE SHORT, THE SHOWER UNIT DIDN’T MIX THE WATER PROPERLY AND THE WIFI DIDN’T WORK. SO NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY !

The location was more than ideal, tube station a few minutes away that goes everywhere in London, there were also a good amount of shops and places to eat/drink a few minutes walk away, as well as a park you can walk through.

There was no TV remote in my room and when I made the staff aware when I got there they did not replace it, the fan wasn’t the strongest so dealing with 32° heat was a bit hard at times unless sat directly in front of the fan or in the cold shower setting, I don’t think behind the tap has ever been cleaned, the toilet roll holder was loose, and I could tell that it was two beds pushed together to make one as the lump in the middle was uncomfy

The friendliness of the staff

The bathroom in our room had a huge amount of black mould. It was falling off the tiles in lumps and it was obvious no-one had mad any attempt to clean it or prevent it getting worse. Room has no air-conditioning.

Location was great and the pub was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and good value. Access to the hotel outside of pub hours was great and straightforward.

No aircon but the heat that weekend was extreme! Windows opened wide though.

You could eat breakfast at the pub but had to wait until 10 o'clock for it to be available so we only had breakfast at the hotel once.

The cleaning could have been better and the shower door almost fell off since it seemed damaged.

I’ve booked this hotel as a back up. I left my house key at work and decided to just stay here. I came there in before midnight and nowhere to check in as the pub was closed already. No sign or even instructions to check in. I was walking around on my own last night scared of my life and decided to go home. Spend Fortune for the locksmith. Now I have a broken door and need to replace it that would cost me a fortune too!

It’s in a great location and the staff were very good. Meals were a good price , good size and hot. We liked the fact we could sit outside to eat as it was a nice day. Breakfast looked amazing but we didn’t have time to try one.

Unfortunately our room wasn’t what we expected, it was ok but there was a need for some refurb and jobs to be done. For example the bathroom blind didn’t work and stained , the latches on the bedroom window either didn’t open or were broken so you couldn’t leave it open. Didn’t expect a shower in the actual bedroom and not in the bathroom! Our TV would only let you listen to a radio station the remote did all sorts of things it shouldn’t which didn’t enable us to have channels on we would have. We did report it and straight away they asked advice from the manager, who wasn’t working that night but they couldn’t work it out. They offered us a free drink or reduction off the food but we had just literally just eaten and had a bottle of wine. They promised to get it sorted for the second night but on return it hadn’t been looked at ( as controller was in the same place we left it) A little disappointing but other than that would return but just not that room!

The room was dirty and dusty, and the carpet was filthy. It was extremely hot, and the two tower fans were so dusty that they could barely blow any air.

I booked a delux double room, which didn’t feel very delux! The curtain pole was broken with part of it on the window sill. The shower didn’t drain which made showering very difficult. I was surprised the housekeepers hadn’t reported this when cleaning.

Die Lage war super! 10 Minuten Fußweg zur Hammersmith Station wo man sich auch in einem Supermarkt, bei einem Bäcker oder mehr was kaufen kann. Auch toll fanden wir, dass unten das Pub ist und man dort als Gast Prozente bekommt. Das Pub hat super Preise und sehr gutes Essen. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Im Zimmer war es recht staubig und die Dusche könnte mal wieder saniert werden

What didn't we love. All staff were amazing and frìendly especially Oscar who went out of his way to give extra help with luggage, Uber and making sure we had everything we needed.

Staff was super responsive when we asked to switch rooms, the process was seamless and they were kind and friendly. 10/10 for them The second room we stayed in was great (Kew Bridge): clean and comfortable, although quite noisy since it’s on the first floor, right above the pub (but that’s to be expected so wasn’t an issue at all for us).

The room we stayed in our first night (Hammersmith Bridge) was vile. The shower water was scorching hot and couldn’t be controlled, beddings were dirty (crusty unidentified stuff on the covers, hairs, etc), walls and floor were dirty, the blind wouldn’t shut and the room was filled with the light by 5:30am. Main issue: Mold all over the bathroom (no ventilation at all in there + shower’s leaking). Genuinely a safety hazard. Stay away from this room.

It is a basic accommodation in a good location. The staff were really friendly. The room is basic but has everything you need. We have stayed in significantly worse places in London in this price bracket. We will stay here again.

Location around the corner from the district line was fantastic - in city centre in 15 mins. Rooms were comfortable and got good quality sleep. Staff went above and beyond and an issue we identified on arrival was swiftly and effectively addressed by Aoife. Aoife made us feel at home and was great fun to deal with.

Depending on how light a sleeper you are - there is some street noise when window is open. Would expect that anywhere quite honestly. Property could do with an overhaul and clean up as it was a little tired.

Not that is a dealbreaker as we booked a room above a pub so expected some noise but wasnt expecting a full on speed garage night complete with mc’s until midnight lol. Saturday morning the shower wouldn’t work we were out early so none to ask/fix so had to wait until we got back sat late afternoon, turns out the fuse had tripped but no way for us to access it to get it back on, bathroom also not dirty really needs a proper spray with some aftermath mold blast it just looks so Grimm.
