Friendly greeting on arrival, fantastic rooms in a great location for our needs with Town Hall across the road. Easy walking distance for shops, casino etc. We will definitely choose to stay here next time we are in Christchurch!

Wasn’t told about having to pay an extra $100 deposit until I arrived. Paid for room in advance, then charged an unexpected $100 on arrival. Made me feel very unwelcome and untrusted. Was told when I paid it that it would be refunded when I checked out in the morning. That was a lie. On checkout, I was told it would take 5 days to refund. Won’t be staying there again. So dishonest not to include it when booking. The room itself was dated. There was a dirty towel in the ‘bath’. I asked for a bath. It was a small shub - not suitable for relaxing in. Only enough shower gel for one person, two tissues in the tissue box - all felt penny pinching and mean, for $260 a night!

Rooms too cold … insufficient ability to heat it as heater supplied was very small but thankfully bed was warm and comfortable Echos from hallway and I think pipes could be heard during night waking you up! Bathroom very dated and layout awful …. Toilet blocks doorway and shower over a mini bath… these need to be improved for what we paid to stay here.

Location is great, only a few minutes walk to town, casino across the road. Small restaurant bar as part of hotel was very hospitable and lovely staff

We had a room booked with 2 bedrooms but upon arrival one was locked. Staff were helpful in sorting this out though

Not really a dislike but our bathroom door was dirty just an oversight

The staff were friendly and our suit was spacious.

We requested dog friendly accommodation. On arrival we were told those rooms were unavailable but for $80 extra we could have our pooch stay. They did halve this amount at my protest. No where on the booking.com did it say this. The bathroom tiles needed scrubbing and there was mould in the tiles and badly cracked shower tub. The dust by the bedside tables was thick. We were offered another room but it is always a hassle after unpacking. A nice place but more attention to detail is required.

We stay here every time we come to Christchurch since we discovered it!! Spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped with everything you could need. Secure parking. Very helpful and friendly staff who make your stay a breeze. Cental to the city with eateries and bars a stones throw away. Lovely place to relax before a show at the Town Hall.

The accommodation is well located and good value for money. Easy to pick up the tram and an easy walk to Cathedral Square area. The Duty Manager has been very helpful in assisting us with an insurance claim (Air NZ issue, not the hotel!).

Check in guy was friendly. Room was large with nice view. Restaurant menu looked good although we didn't have time to eat there. Good to have a bar in-house. Carpark was good.

Room was VERY tired. well overdue for a refurb. Wall behind the entrance door looked filthy. Behind bedside cabinet was dirty. We didn't need the room serviced but asked for 2 towels AND 2 FACE CLOTHS to be dropped off. Didn't get the facecloths. Housemaids on checkout morning threatened us with $40 extra charge as we were not out at 10am. (left at 10:50).

A full suite with cooking and laundry facilities and very close to the Casino, Avon and CBD. Bed was very comfortable but the furniture was showing its age. Down stairs restaurant was good when it was open. Clean and spacious I would definitely recommend it.

The apartment needs to be renovated as the facilities are quite rundown.

Excellent location next to the casino and a 5-10 minute walk into the CBD.. surrounded by plenty of eating options and the bus stop at your front door.. Special mention to Kat at reception, super helpful!! Thanks Kat

The location in city centre, off street under cover parking (additional cost), friendly staff, spacious room and comfortable bed.

Limited sound proofing, so it was noisy on the (otherwise lovely) atrium floor early in the morning. Lack of coffee plunger in an otherwise well-equipped kitchen in the apartment. The interior is dated but otherwise well maintained.

I asked if it would be ok to park my hire car in the car park next door - Sunday - empty car park - whilst I unloaded my car or did I have to pay. I was told it would be ok to park there. I have now received an $85 parking ticket for being there for 15 minutes max before I took the car back to the airport.

The location of the hotel is great and the rooms are a great size. There is a full size fridge and a washer dryer in the suite which is really nice. Bedroom was nice 👍

Unfortunately the rooms are starting to feel a bit run down and in need of a reno, this stay it was quite noisy as there was some sort of maintenance happening 😕 For price needs a refresh.

Location was perfect to city central. Staff very helpful and friendly. Apartment was a good size. Balcony was useful and it was nice to be able to open sliding doors fir fresh air. Attached bar area nice, lovely staff. Overall quiet despite being in city center.

There was a slight 'mouldy' smell in bedroom and fan in bathroom not very effective. Basic amenities supplied only. Sofa and one sheet had small stains in it. Query? Value for money

Everything so close to city Staff Fantastic. Your hotel manager is a very nice woman always helping and making you feel relaxed ,she went out of her way to help us Will def be back Garry Patterson

Tijdens het inchecken werden we goed geholpen. Het waren ruime kamers met zelfs een wasmachine-droger combinatie waardoor we wat kleding konden wassen. Er was zelfs wasmiddel aanwezig. Het appartement was ruim, schoon en lag dicht bij het centrum. De auto konden we in de garage van het hotel parkeren.

Very comfortable and the suite was larger than I expected. An excellent location for access to Christchurch CBD, the Avon, Arts Centre and gardens. Also a microwave and full kitchen. Downstairs restaurant served very tasty and reasonably priced food when it was open.

I couldn't get the hair dryer to work. Restaurant was not open on Saturday night.

Conveniently located a 10min walk from Christchurch city centre. The 2 bed suite we had was clean, comfortable and roomy. Staff were welcoming.

We had a 2 bed suite which was lovely and spacious. All very clean and comfortable. 5/10 min walk to city centre. Staff were really helpful on arrival and sorted out parking for us.
