住在二樓的話要扛行李上樓

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Perfecte plek om te verblijven om het gebied rondom mt. Fuji te verkennen en/of hem te beklimmen. Tegen een betaling kun je je bagage dan achterlaten (1000 yen). Op een korte afstand lopen vanaf het station. Erg schoon en fijne keuken. Ook bieden ze (huur)fietsen aan.
Inchecken is strikt om 15:00, ook al kom je afgepeigerd, bezweet terug van mt. Fuji. Hier zijn ze niet flexibel in, ook niet tegen een prijs. Wel kun je alvast douche maar hier moet je dan voor betalen.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026民宿位置优越，离河口湖步行仅3分钟左右，离有名的罗森便利店打卡点也才5分钟左右步行。 卫生超级棒，员工时常打扫，公共厨房的餐具和清洁用品等都在及时打扫消毒，一级棒！ 酒店提供自行车租借服务，价格比单独在附近的门店或者是共享自行车都划算且使用时间更长。 我们的房间202号房能看到富士山的山顶，住了3晚，房间设施一级棒，很满意！

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026The reception gentleman was so nice and very helpful. He really took his time with me and answered all questions. I liked that when I climbed mt Fuji in between my 2 night stays that I was able to store my bag for a reasonable price. Bedrooms were great and very spacious.
The bathrooms were clean but had a fair bit of mould in them. This probably needs attending to.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026The location was excellent, only about a 4-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay, especially as a solo traveler. The property provides everything you need and is very well organized. The shared bathrooms and showers were always very clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. For a small additional fee, they allow you to use the showers before check-in or after check-out, and they can also store your luggage. They offer bicycle rentals at reasonable prices, which was very convenient for exploring the area. Overall, everything was easily accessible, and the staff made my stay very pleasant.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026The location was fantastic. We had a room with a view of Mt. Fuji which was perfect and it was only a 5 minute walk from Kawaguchiko station. The futon style beds were also surprisingly comfortable, though on the firmer side. We had more than enough room for all the luggage and the room was very clean. The shared bathroom facilities were also very clean and didn't bother us at all. O and since it is very close to Kawaguchiko station it is also very close to one of the 2 iconic Lawsons to take you Fuji photos.
The hotel has bikes that are available for renting. We took the non-electric bikes which turned out to be a mistake in the very hilly terrain, when here, always opt for the electric bikes they have.

Room - Great view of the tip of Mount Fuji (most of it was slightly covered by buildings). - Room size was splendid for two people - Tatami mats were comfortable, mattresses was clean and comfortable - Quiet and respectful guests Services - Staff were accomodating and friendly - Offered bicycle rentals at cheaper rates - English speaking receptionists Facilities - Clean and reasonably spacious toilets - Fridges were provided to store food - Hairdryer, soaps, toothbrushes are available

It’s really the details that matter. The environment is also friendly and welcoming. The tatami area in the room is also very nice and traditional. Most importantly, the staff, especially the young male staff, were very kind and helpful. It was pouring rain some hours after we checked-out. We were soaking wet, and the staff offered to let us use the hair dryer—life saving! Thank you so much:)!!

Bagni condivisi ma puliti :) Stanze abbastanza spaziose, alcune anche con vista sul monte fuji Possibilità di affittare le biciclette con cui fare il giro del lago (unica cosa negativa é che non c’è una sorta di ciclabile, si deve pedalare in strada..)

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Our stay at GuestHouse Guu was honestly shocking, in the best way possible, for the price we paid. The room was wonderful, with air conditioning and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even though the bathrooms were shared, they were impeccably clean and very well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, less than a 5-minute walk from the station, which made getting around super easy. One of the highlights was being able to rent bikes at a very affordable price, we rode around both lakes and had an incredible time taking in the stunning views of Mount Fuji. On top of that, being provided with a helmet for biking made us feel safe and well taken care of. We also really appreciated the thoughtful details throughout our stay. For example, there were sanitary pads available in the women’s bathroom, which was a very nice and considerate touch. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend staying here!

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026I had a really pleasant stay at Guesthouse Guu. The location is extremely convenient, just a short distance from Kawaguchiko Station, with Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby, which made everything very easy during my trip. I enjoyed being able to walk and even cycle to nearby attractions around Kawaguchiko. The guesthouse offers bicycle rentals (with a fee), which is a great option if you want to explore the area more freely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. They also kindly allowed me to store my luggage at no extra cost before check-in and after checkout, which was very helpful. However, do note that there is an additional fee if you need to store your luggage overnight after checkout. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially for travelers looking to explore Kawaguchiko at a relaxed pace.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026The location was pretty near kawaguchiko station. Generally pretty quiet. Shared bathroom was a little troublesome but alright. Pretty clean and instructions were clear and in english. I could see mt fuji from my room window, which was a pleasant surprise!

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026Close to the train station, the room was nice and suitable for people who are just looking to spend the night and most of the day are out.
The shared showers weren't very clean and needed a bit of renovation. We didn't use the bicycles because of the returning time. The futon beds are not very comfortable and not suitable for everyone.

房間如果有熱水壺會更好，共用衛浴的吹風機不夠馬力 要吹頭髮吹很久

Чисто, уютно, удобные душевые и туалеты, кухня, прачечная, есть абсолютно все для комфортного пребывания. Сдают в аренду обычные велосипеды, не электро. Если кто-то не уверен в своих силах, то на электровеликах вокруг озера будет ехать гораздо приятнее. У нас это заняло порядка 4 часов с сильным ветром в сопротивление.

Just a short walk from the station, the location couldn’t be more ideal. What truly makes this place special is the owner’s warmth and hospitality. On a rainy day, they graciously allowed us to relax in the reception area without any additional charge. The guesthouse has a charming, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Overall, it was a delightful experience from beginning to end.

Not much. Just wish we hadn’t booked a 3rd night in Kawaguchiko as we slightly ran out of things to do, especially as Fuji was not visible for much of our stay at all (maybe only 2 hours?). This area is also much more expensive than others in Japan and not sure it is necessarily worth staying overnight. Only saying this because I wish I’d have known before.
