Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Beautifully designed hotel with outstanding food and great facilities. We stayed here for 6 nights as a family (7yo and 9yo kids) and everything was perfect. The staff are very accommodating, and the location (near the subway and the Sanlitun Taikooli area, which has lots of great shops and restaurants) is excellent.

The property needs better care. One specific receptionist wasn’t very friendly. AC isnt cold enough in the room (we booked 2 baby suites) both had the same issue. They brought us a fan but it barely did anything. Only one side of the bed has an electricity plug, which wasn’t convenient.

One of our 2 rooms were very warm (the other one seemed like there was some air conditioning so it was ok). Though I should give the staff credit that they responded very quickly to our requests and provided a fan.

Das kulinarische Konzept des Restaurants schien etwas einfältig und es war während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthalts eigentlich immer leer. Das Essen selbst kann ich nicht bewerten, weil auch wir lieber auswärts unterwegs waren.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2025chao酒店是我这次回北京一个大大的惊喜。酒店设计审美十分在线，简约但是有很多值得看的小细节，而且从木地板到洁具用的都是质量质感非常好的。房间自带一种木头天然的清香（特别害怕那种充满化学香氛味道的酒店） 清洁也可以给十分钟，虽然我是重度洁癖。服务更是超级好，有任何需要客房服务都三分钟出现在门口。特别是他们的高级宾客体验经理Athena， 从安排房间到入住后我们遇到的一点点个人的小困难，都超级helpful，专业又贴心。早餐丰盛，可选的非常多而且味道都不错。连酸奶都很绵密好吃。 另外一个extra是酒店房间里有一些很有趣的艺术类书籍供客人阅读，而且选得都蛮有品味。整个酒店都蛮有艺术氛围。从大堂的花束到大堂循环播放的艺术纪录片。总之是一次10分满分的stay。很开心找到这家酒店。

Very nice staff, speaks good English. the restaurant downstairs is also good for dinner. There are also other bars and restaurants in the walking distance, plus a metro station very close. Highly recommended.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025Very stylish and modern hotel. The room was very spacious and lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the service exceptional. The gym was spacious and included all you needed for a good strength training workout. The hotel’s location is about 20 minutes by car from the old town and the Forbidden City. Taxis are readily available and not expensive. The staff were very helpful and efficient. However, their English is not as proficient as you’d like it to be. But we still managed to communicate ok.

The hotel itself is achingly cool, a mix of brutalist chic but warm and comforting with a great attention to detailing for their sustainable amenities. The staff are friendly and attentive and go out of their way to help with any questions. I hughly reccomend this chic luxury hotel.
