Very nice property with a great breakfast! The staff was wonderful and kind! It’s close to everything in town and the rooms were large and clean.

Περάσαμε υπέροχα στο Ηράκλειο και η διαμονή μας έκανε την εμπειρία ακόμα καλύτερη! Το φαγητό ήταν πραγματικά εξαιρετικό, τόσο το βραδινό όσο και όλα όσα δοκιμάσαμε. Πολύ νόστιμα πιάτα, ποιοτικά υλικά και προσεγμένη παρουσίαση. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό και έκανε τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο όμορφη. Φεύγουμε με τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις και σίγουρα θα το ξαναεπισκεφθούμε!

Comfortable room, very cozy bed, big shower. It right in the center, if that’s what you’re looking for. Breakfast is reasonably stocked, except the coffee was not something to write home about.

There was not parking included but to be fair, there are A LOT of parking options all around.

Juste de passage une nuit ,taxi pour l'aéroport 15 € . Proche du centre ville ,pour la derniére soirée. Trés propre . Nous partions dans la nuit ,nous avons eu un petit déjeuner royal à emporter .

Moderno y espaciosa habitación . La cama era muy cómoda y tenía albornoces y separación del baño para mejor uso. Detalle la terraza. Silenciosa a pesar de dar a la plaza y estar llena de gente . Me encantó el jabón de ducha

Έγραφε στο site του booking ότι διατίθεται πάρκινγκ χωρίς να αναφέρει ότι έχει επιπλέον χρέωση . Το πρωινό προσφερόταν στο υπόγειο χωρίς ίχνος ημερήσιου φωτός με εντελώς αρνητική αίσθηση. Ότι αφορά την ποιότητα, ποσότητα και ποικιλία ήταν μέτρια -

Only stayed one night, was chosen for price, and closeness to amenities

It wasn’t cleaned well, bins not emptied from previous people, and spilt coffee. Also had a difficult time with some things I had left behind,I wanted them picked up by a taxi driver, the hotel had strict policies in place as they didn’t want any responsibility if they went missing in transit . They had a company that would pick up and deliver - but it would take 2 weeks, I was not going to be in the country for that long. In the end I paid a taxi driver to deliver them to me at my next hotel. Improvement to expediency of having lost items delivered would have been less stressful.

Nach unserer Ankunft buchte ich ein Zimmer in einem Hotel in der Nähe des Oliven Grand (ich nenne den Namen nicht). Es war ein brandneues 4-Sterne-Hotel mit exzellentem Service. Es lag nur 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt und kostete 110 € inklusive Frühstück. Ich verbrachte dort eine Nacht und fuhr dann für vier Tage ins Oliven Grand, wo ich Frühstück und Abendessen buchte. Der Preis betrug 170 € pro Nacht. Ehrlich gesagt war ich überrascht, als ich nach der Speisekarte fragte; sie unterschied sich von der für reguläre Hotelgäste. Die Auswahl an Gerichten war sehr begrenzt. Auf meine Nachfrage erklärte mir der Manager, dass ich direkt ins Hotel gehen müsse, um das zu bekommen, was ich wollte. Auch das Zimmer entsprach nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Die Toilette war zwar im Zimmer, aber der Kühlschrank stand direkt neben der Tür. Ich würde niemandem empfehlen, 170 € zu bezahlen und dann nicht das zu bekommen, was er sich gewünscht hat. Ich würde diesem Hotel maximal zwei Sterne geben.

Sehr schlechte Preise ganz ehrlich das hotel ist nicht mehr als 3 Stern

Friendly and helpful staff, super practical location, very nicely decorated, natural wood everywhere, comfortable rooms and beds, good breakfast - except the coffee.

Couldn’t tell anything in particular but I wonder why they decorated the corridors with that carpet 🤔

Love the location - just outside of the super busy areas, but lots of great tavernas and cafes nearby

Closer and cheaper parking would be nice - but that is rare in Heraklion

Tutto,. A cena tra l altro porzioni molto abbondanti e colazione soddisfacente. Nel complesso l'hotel e' molto bello e curato. Staff professionale ed empatico.

Stanza stupenda, moderna e ultrafunzionale, mancano solo le zanzariere al balcone. La cena, nella formula half board, prevede scelte non molto ampie.

Localização sem igual, a pouco mais de 2 quarteirões da principal praça da cidade (Astoria) onde está um ponto das principais linhas de ônibus, tornando o acesso muito fácil aos pontos turísticos e inclusive ao aeroporto. Funcionários cordiais e prestativos, no hotel e no restaurante. Café da manhã excelente !

It was clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location was also great, it was close to city center and many travel agencies pickup point.

Very disappointing experience. The room looked completely different from the impression created by the photos. The design was uncomfortable, the bathroom offered almost no privacy, the balcony was tiny, there was an unpleasant smell in the room, and the view was terrible. We felt so uncomfortable that we left immediately and booked another hotel at our own expense. Despite explaining the situation in several emails, the hotel refused to offer any refund or show any goodwill, hiding behind its non-refundable policy. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

A lovely, clean hotel in a great location, with excellent breakfast. Quiet area but an easy walk to restaurants and bus stops (eg local bus to Knossos).

La colazione discreta. Abbiamo avuto un free upgrade per la camera. Quindi la suite . È sempre un gesto di incredibile generosità che fanno spesso in Grecia quando possono. Gente meravigliosa. La migliore al mondo. Umani, cordiali, gentili, mai stressati e sempre capaci di regalarti un sorriso, un gesto, e farti stare bene. Le mie osservazioni non c’entrano intrinsecamente con l’hotel, ma viaggiare è cultura, e in essa vi è la gente, componente essenziale per rendere ancora più piacevole ogni viaggio.

Unfortunately, our stay at Olive Green Hotel started with a disappointing first impression. The welcome at the hotel felt quite cold and not very hospitable. Regarding the parking, the information provided was not clear enough. Since parking was mentioned in the hotel details, we had the impression that the hotel had its own parking facility. However, upon arrival, we were directed to Central Parking, a nearby partner parking facility, where we had to pay an additional fee. We believe this information should have been communicated more clearly in advance. In addition, upon arrival, no one offered to help us unload our luggage from the car. This was not in line with the level of welcome, attention, and hospitality we expected from a hotel like this. Another disappointing point was the pricing. After making our reservation through Booking.com, we noticed that the price for the same room had dropped to almost half of what we had paid. This created a feeling of disappointment and also reduced our confidence in making early reservations through Booking.com. Although the location of the hotel is convenient, the overall guest experience — especially the first impression and hospitality — did not meet our expectations.

I can't recommend this Olive Green Hotel enough, especially for the food and the staff - amazing! The room was cozy, clean, comfortable and had anything I needed. However, the best part of my stay was the staff and their kindness. My arrival time was scheduled for after they finished serving food but the staff was lovely and made sure I was fed even after my arrival. The food was just amazing, and massive portions - I felt sorry for struggling to finish it! It was a short but lovely stay, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Heraklion!

We spent a short night here. People are kid and helpful here. Archeological Museum is very close.

Breakfast was good. Nice selection with very comfortable dining area. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was available around the corner at a paid lot which is discounted if you’re staying at the hotel. There’s a space in front of the hotel to drop off luggage. Close walking distance to shopping and food. They knew we had 3 guests so they prepared the sofa bed with sheets and blanket.

There were ants in our room. Many many ants around the trash can.

Lovely welcoming reception and staff! Beautiful clean, cool and quiet room. Very comfortable bed and spacious room to relax in after a long journey. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. An easy walk into the heart of town!

Al Carte menu for half board didn't have much option for vegetarians and Fish eaters. Only option was Fish and chips. Chef was completely inflexible. I suggest do not opt for this hotel if you are vegetarian or do not eat meat

The hotel is nicely designed, very clean and comfortable and in a great location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity.

Everything walkable from hotel. Stayed on 5th floor. Windows kept room quiet but if we wanted to hear outside we could step out on balcony. Close, within 10 min walk, to restaurants, shopping.and sea. Nice breakfast. Concierge type service from one of the front desk ladies. Attractive, clean room.

Perfect location, very central, ideal if you want to explore the Heraklion old town.

The room was spacious, with a modern design and large shower cabin. There was a large balcony and the location is right next to a craft beer bar with loads of selections. The breakfast was good and varied (try the rice milk pudding when you can find it). The hotel also has its own bar and restaurant where you can sample different tasty foods and drinks

The power went off for a few moments during one evening.

Lovely hotel in a great situation to see the city and also close to a bus stop for Knossos and the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a free room upgrade which was lovely! Excellent breakfast and a nice restaurant attached, which we didn’t actually use. There are loads of good restaurants around.

The hotel sits on a quiet street, not very far from bus station. The size of room is OK and very clean. The breakfast was impressive, with a lot choices.

The hotel manager told us when we checked in that meat dishes might not be always available since it was the week before Easter sunday. It turned out not to be true.

Beds are very comfortable , very clean room and right in the center of the city

Die Umgebung ist etwas laut. Man hört nichts aus den Nachbarzimmern, außer wenn dort geduscht wird oder das Bad benutzt wird. Keine Parkplätze am Hotel. Man muss eines der nahegelegenen Parkhäuser nutzen für ca. 15 € am Tag
