Carmine is over the top amazing! The place itself is wonderful, it's his attention and service which make it over the top. The cafe below for breakfast is wonderful, the staff are very attentive and the food is perfect to start a busy day of sightseeing.

The hospitality was 100%. Breakfast was really good. Location is perfect.

On Saturday night we could hear nightclub. Other nights were very quiet.

Great communication by owner Carmine. Very clean. Powerful shower. Comfortable room. Amazing cafe belonging to Carmine for breakfast downstairs. And go to Papa Doble for a drink and a dance 2 doors along! Close to great restaurants and an easy walk to all main attractions. But quiet enough for a good sleep. Highly recommend.

It was a great location near the train station and a very easy walk to Duomo and other sights. It is up 2 flights of stairs and we were helped with our luggage on arrival. Excellent AC which was very appreciated during the heat wave. Breakfast at the cafe in the morning was a nice start to each day. Carmine was so nice and helpful - even checked with me by WhatsApp to make sure we were doing ok when he hadn’t seen us for a day. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Florence.

We loved our stay here. Carmine met us at the door and carried our cases up. There was double glazing which made everything quiet. The breakfast was excellent. It was from downstairs at a café. We had several additional meals here. Excellent food and a great price. The location is easy to reach from the station and walkable to all the sites. The bed was really comfy. Easily our best stay of our trip so far.

Wonderful location short walk from station and major attractions. Carmine was an exceptional and generous host who communicated perfectly,met us at door and carried our bags up long flight of stairs and greeted us with espresso ! He also provided us with great restaurant suggestions and other advice. Breakfast downstairs was lovely and the room stocked with coffee, cool drinks chocolates and a nice Chianti! Room was air conditioned, quite given location near Central Market and cleaned daily-Perfecto!

Carmine was by far the best host we had, easy to contact and accommodating all the way; providing us early breakfast bags when we had to leave earlier, also storing our luggage before the check in. And the cafe served very delicious breakfast. Would definitely come back and also recommend to all our friends. Thank you for making our Florence experience so much better!

Eccellente esperienza in questo bb. Cominciamo dall'accoglienza del proprietario,Carmine,che ha fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro soggiorno confortevole. Ci siamo sentiti a casa,ospiti di un amico o di un parente. Si vede che ama il suo lavoro e che ci tiene all ospitalità,vuole che tutto sia perfetto ed effettivamente la qualità è molto alta.La posizione è perfetta,noi siamo arrivati in treno e la stazione è vicinissima. Inoltre ci siamo mossi sempre a piedi,perché è davvero in una posizione strategica. Il quartiere è sicuro e vivace ma la sistemazione è silenziosissimo. Tin camera non manca nulla:mini frigo,bollitore,macchina per caffè ,bagno con tutto il necessario,aria condizionata autonoma, infissi super silenziosi. Altro punto a suo favore è il Bistrot,dello stesso proprietario,situato alla porta accanto. Qui abbiamo consumato colazioni spettacolari,con la possibilità di scegliere tra dolce e salato e non solo. Abbiamo mangiato più volte lì ,anche per pranzo e cena,con un gradito sconto del 10%. Il personale: sia le rahazzr del bistrot che le signore delle pulizie poi sono state tutte impeccabili. Cosa manca? Nulla,solo una data per tornarci !!complimenti per l ospitalità

사장님의 세심한 서비스 덕분에 숙박기간 내내 편안하게 머물다 왔습니다. 조식신청을 했지만 이른 시간에 나서야 해서 못 먹는 날에는 따로 도시락도 챙겨주시고, 세탁을 부탁드리면 건조까지 해서 주십니다. 복도에 정수기가 있어서 식수 마시기에 편안하고 침구도 깨끗했어요! 엘리베이터가 없는 것이 약간 아쉬웠지만 사장님이 직접 도와주셔서 문제되지 않았습니다. 피렌체 내의 주요관광지와 거리가 매우 가까운 것도 큰 장점입니다!

샤워실의 배수가 약간 아쉬웠는데 물을 적당히 틀면 크게 문제되지 않습니다.

Nice rooms near San Lorenzo and pretty close to the Duomo as well. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The cafe where you have breakfast is excellent and the staff is very nice.

The only issue is that the club on the first level can turn up their music above an acceptable limit, which brings noise into some of the rooms above. They do provide earplugs, but the club should also be respectful of their neighbors. Also, be prepared to walk several flights of stairs.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und im allgemeinen ist das B&B sehr sauber. Der Besitzer und alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man wird hier mit allem was man so braucht versorgt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Lorenzo de' Medici. Host Carmine was incredibly thoughtful and helpful, he kindly assisted us with our luggage upon arrival. Our room was spotlessly clean, with excellent air‑conditioning that kept the space cool and comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet, which made for restful nights. The breakfast served at their on‑site restaurant was delicious. We would absolutely recommend this B&B to other travellers visiting Florence and hope to return someday.

My adult son and I had a really great stay at Lorenzo de’ Medici. The owner was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. We really appreciated that they were able to accommodate our request for two twin beds. The room was more spacious than we expected and very comfortable. The location was amazing, with everything within easy walking distance. We were visiting during the summer when temperatures reached 97°F, so having a comfortable, cool room to retreat to in the middle of the day was especially appreciated. Despite the central location, our room was very quiet with no street noise. We also really appreciated the thoughtful extra amenities, including water, wine, and drinks in the mini fridge. Breakfast downstairs each morning was delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, very close to the city center, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Communication with Carmine, the owner, was outstanding. Even though he was not in the city during our stay, he made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and a pleasant experience throughout our visit. We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful welcome treat :)

De dag voor aankomst kregen we een appje van Carmine. Vanaf dat moment waren we in zeer goede handen. We hebben in Carmine een bijzonder goede gastheer gevonden met een heel leuk en professioneel team, ook in de bistro beneden. Firenze was heel leuk, maar ons verblijf hier heeft het zo veel leuker gemaakt.

This was an amazing b&b with a very accommodating host . Upon entering the building we were greeted amicably and even assisted in bringing our heavy luggage up the stairs. When entering our room we were met with not only an incredibly clean room but one that supplied us with food and drinks . This hospitable b&b was located in the centre of Florence making exploring the city incredibly easy . On top of the wonderful room , the bistro downstairs offered a great place for breakfast with a variety of food options that met everybody's needs . All the staff were very attentive and I couldn't fault the accomodation.

Man muss das Frühstück, das unten im Bistro zur Verfügung steht, mögen. Man bekommt einen Gutschein von zehn Euro und kann sich aussuchen was man möchte. Es ist auf der einen Seite wirklich top, und die Bedienung ist auch wirklich super nett, aber es ist eben typisch italienisch

Location is perfect. Just in the middle of the old city center and the train station and walking distance to both. Carmine is a great host. Rooms are well maintained. Noisy street but the sound isolation of the windows is super, so you have no problems. A/C is powerful which is important in summer.

Carmine was very hospitable and gave us amazing recommendations. Went above and beyond. Room was great. Bistrot was excellent.

İstasyona yakın , yürüyerek yaklaşık 12 dakika sürüyor. Merkezde istediğiniz hemen her noktaya yakın ve yürüyerek gidilebiliyor. Trive çeşmesi , colezyum, ispanyol merdivenleri vs hepsine rahat şekilde yürüyerek gidip gezdik. Otel çok temiz , personel çok ilgili, kahvaltıları çok güzel Türkler için olmazsa olmaz beyaz peynir ve zeytin dışında hemen herşey var. Otelde 5 yaşında çocuğumuzla kaldık memnunuz.

Ubicación excelente. Habitación limpia, aire acondicionado, todo reformado y comodo, tal y como se ve en las fotos. Vino, chocolate, aguas de oferta. Amabilidad de los funcionarios y del dueño. Hemos podido guardar las maletas y entrar a la habitación antes de la hora establecida, muchas gracias.

Los 10€ por persona para el desayuno son un poco justos, estaría mejor si se pudiera elegir una bebida y un plato, ya que siempre acabamos gastando más. Pero todo muy bueno, aunque el servicio va lento, ya que solo hay 2 personas para atender a tanta gente.

Very loud/ noisy with other rooms and stairs. Bed was not great at all, little confusing with nothing explained upon entering and I had to ask the owner. Owner was very good at replying however

Çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve ilgi alakaları iyiydi. Her konuda yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar. Konum olarak gezilecek yerlere çok uzak değil. Temizliği güzel ve titizdi.

He recently opened a bistro below the rooms, with excellent food. When ever I had a question about Florence Carmine would immediately answer me on Whats app with a straight forward answer, map/directions, links to nearby restaurants or wine windows. Even helped us to grab a taxi. Great individual that you can connect with.

Great communication, very friendly owner and the team, lovely clean room, very safe, loved our stay.

Great location and room was very clean. The host was very attentive and checked on everything even though he was out of town. Gave us a a great recommendation for a seafood restaurant.

Perfect location and a lovely room. It was great to be next to the central market - well worth a visit for the tasting experience. The property had lots of lovely extras which made the stay feel special. There was excellent communication with Carmine (the owner) who was in touch regularly to make sure all was ok. Special thanks go to Albina who met us every time with a smile, despite multitasking in a very busy bistro and welcoming guests. It felt like nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth checking out as a place to stay in Florence.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. Instead of discussing the room or amenities in this review, I want to talk about something else: the owner, Carmine. He helped us with everything. Because of our tour, we were going to miss breakfast, so he gave us a breakfast pack and also arranged for us to have a double breakfast the next day. This shows how much he values ​​his guests. As a Turkish citizen, I thought my own people were hospitable, but after seeing Carmine, I realized how much Italians value their guests too. We offer him our deepest gratitude.

The mini refrigerator might cool a little more.

Acho que poderia melhorar a qualidade dos travesseiros e tecidos de cama. Porém, não incomodou ao ponto de atrapalhar nosso descanso. Essa observação é mais para um feedback de melhorias. A escada também pode ser um problema para quem tem dificuldade de locomoção. Pra nós foi tranquilo.

The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. They helped us carry our two heavy pieces of luggage before check-in and after check-out, provided us with useful information, and prepared plenty of drinks and wine in the room. The breakfast was the most abundant of my entire trip, and surprisingly, the iced latte even had a thick, rich foam! The location is very convenient for getting anywhere. If I have the chance to revisit Florence, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent location right in the center of Florence, with all major attractions within easy walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hospitality was the highlight of our stay. The owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming—they carried our luggage, arranged a taxi for us, and regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was served at the café downstairs, which was convenient and enjoyable. A great place to stay in Florence, and we would happily return.

What I liked about the property was pretty much everything. Carmine was one of the best hosts that we have encountered in our many travels. He was quick to respond to any questions and recommendations we had. There were so many thoughtful extra touches that added to our exceptional experience, really just too many to list.

A informação de que o café da manhã está incluído foi incompleta. Oferecem 10 euros para serem usados no Bistro ao lado, de propriedade do Carmine que é o host. Contudo, os pratos oferecidos limitam as escolhas e, geralmente, fazem você gastar muito mais que os 10 euros ou esperar para que sejam preparados. Não sabendo disso, no 1o dia tivemos que comer algo mais rápido, já feito, pois tínhamos horário para o museu. Entendo que isso deveria ser mais claro nas informações iniciais. O quarto não tinha uma cortina para vedar a iluminação da rua, bem forte, que ficava ligada à noite toda, talvez por ser a rua do Mercado Central. Dormimos mal os 3 dias, mesmo com uma boa cama. Para acessar os quartos, é necessário subir 4 lances de escada; com malas ou quando se chega cansado dos passeios, é bem inconveniente. Tirando a questão da escada, tudo pode ser resolvido facilmente para outros hóspedes.

It was very central - a few blocks from the Duomo and train station so convenient for everything we needed. We did not hear any street noise and the room was very clean and comfortable. It sits above the restaurant where you are given a 10 euro credit for a delightful breakfast each morning. Carmine, the owner, was very communicative before and during our stay. He met us and helped carry in the luggage. He responded immediately to any questions and with helpful suggestions and information. He is a gem and made us feel like we were staying with a good and welcoming friend.

We loved from the moment we arrived Carmine's warm welcome. The B&B is so close to the SMN station, we walked easily even with our suitcases. The room was clean, welcoming, comfortable, drinking water available, coffee machine in the room, generously stocked, easy instructions of in and out. Carmine shared lots of options for Florence, we loved his local perspective. Our breakfast at Carmine's Bistrot downstairs was also a huge hit. Tons of options available so we mixed up our options. There is no other place I will stay on my next visit to Florence.

Carmine was a wonderful host who did everything that he could to accommodate us. There were many welcoming touches in our room. His bistro downstairs was the perfect place for a quick breakfast and they have many American menu items. The location was perfect, right next door to the Central Market and walking distance to many things.

Konumu çok merkezi, tutistik yerlere yürüyerek gidebiliyorsunuz. İşletmeci Carmine çok yardımcı oluyor her konuda. Odada ikram şarap, çikolata ve diğer içecekler vardı bu diğer otellerde görmediğimiz bir hoşluk. Odalar ve nevresim takımları temizdi. Bu konuma göre Fiyatı göz önüne alındığında gayet güzel bir konaklamaydı.

Binanın sokağında derici pazarı var, o yüzden biraz keşmekeş, alışması biraz zaman alıyor. Odalar yarı 2 katlı, alt taraf biraz dar. Kahvaltı cafede veriliyor, açık büfe gibi değil menüden 10 Eur’luk harcama yapabiliyorsunuz, yani hafif bir kahvaltı için yetiyor ama dolu dolu yiyemiyorsunuz tabi. Fakat fiyata göre bunlar küçük detay kalıyor.

Tesis bir otel gibi değildi.Bir Apartman dairesinin 3.katında 8 odalı bir pansiyon gibiydi.Asansör yok.Lobi yok.Hatta açık büfe kahvaltı bile yoktu.Alt tarafta bulunan cafe de kahvaltı yapılıyor.Ancak kahvaltı sadece 10 Euro hakkınız var.Üstünü ödüyorsunuz.Bu arada odanız her gün temizlenmiyor.Pencerede perde yok.Sabah olunca aydınlıkta uyuyorsunuz.İnternet zaman zaman kopuyor.Klima çok yüksek sesli çalışıyor.Klimayı kapatma şansın da yok.Oteldeki en güzel şey otelin konumuydu

This property is located perfectly. Close to the train station and tram stops but also close to all the sites. The welcome was seamless. The building has been renovated well. The host is very very welcoming and nothing was a bother. Breakfast was fantastic! I would come back

Not a negative but be aware there are stairs up to the b&b if mobility is a problem. We were helped with our bags so that wasn’t an issue.

Apartment was clean.Facilities were excellent.Lots of goodies were left for for that personal touch. Our host was extremely helpful and gave us so much information.

This would easily be one of our best stays in Italy. Carmine was more than helpful in answering all our questions even after we checked out the room. He gave us early check in and helped us in carrying the luggage. He also let us store our big suitcase for free for our trip to Cinque Terre. The room was clean, spacious and modern. Lots of complimentary stuff- minibar items, chocolates and even a bottle of wine. The breakfast next day was also nice even though we had to leave really early in the morning. Our only regret would be that we stayed for just a day.

엘리베이터는 없으나, 굉장이 친절하신 호스트분이 짐을 들어줬습니다. 체크아웃때는 혼자 내려야한다는 후기가 많았는데, 짐이 많아서 그런지 모르겠으나 체크아웃때도 짐을 내려줬습니다. 조식은 아래의 카페에서 1인당 하루 10유로씩 사용할수 있어서 커피랑 빵 종류 먹었는데 괜찮았습니다. 청결도도 준수했습니다.

Great location to explore the city. B&B was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast downstairs in the bistro was excellent. The highlight of our stay was the host Carmine. He was so helpful and went out of his way to ensure our stay was good.

Our host was so friendly and helpful, and the apartment was spacious and clean. We really appreciated the welcome snacks and drinks. We would highly recommend this apartment.

The only negative for us was the market stalls that lined the streets around the apartment. Getting to the apartment was rather chaotic because of the crowded market out front. Being directly across from the Central Market was amazing, as it is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch, but the outdoor markets make the area feel overwhelmingly crowded.
