Serendib Bed and Breakfast

It was a great experience.

Loved the location, the decor of the common area, the hosts, and the breakfast which was 5 star exquisite. The owner is a trained chef so breakfasts were customized and elegantly presented and delicious. Loved the quaintness of the place and being able to enjoy breakfast with other guests. Fabulous place conveniently located a short drive from downtown Charlottetown.

Loved everything.

Top Class! 5 star freshly procured.

nothing

Enjoyed the breakfasts. Tea, coffee, and orange juice available 24/7 for guests. Kamel was very kind to us, happy to drop us off in the local area.

Very friendly hosts. Amazing breakfasts!

Très bon déjeuner. Spacieux et tranquille.

Everyday new item made with love and affection. Very professional. Kamal is a very good cook as well as a host. Very helpful and caring. He was beyond our expectation.

I can not think of anything now.

Table repas devrait être séparé

Uitstekend ontbijt Vriendelijke hosts Op slechts 6 minuten per auto naar Downtown Charlottetown.

Het bed was nogal hoog.

I liked the common area and the availability of some basic kitchen utensils. The breakfasts were very good, fresh and filling. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I truly recommend!

The hosts are super friendly and warm people, also, the breakfasts are top notch.

Pillows were a bit uncomfortable to sleep on, though its personal preference.

Nice and friendly host Amazing 10/10 breakfast Very clean

Nothing. Everything was perfect

Breakfast each morning was distinct and delicious.

The hosts were warm and welcoming. The room and common area were clean. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully presented. Location was central to everything we wanted to do during our stay.

The only small thing was the sheets were a little scratchy (only bothered me not my husband) but I slept well on top of the blanket. Mattress and pillow were comfy and the room was quiet.

Breakfast was amazing! Everything was spotless, very comfortable bed and hosts were excellent. So informative and extemely accommodating, ensuring all of our needs were met! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends that are planning on travelling to PEI.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Walked into a large clean common room with sofas to sit on and I big wall mounted TV, which we had access too.. great kitchenette, with a Keurig and an espresso maker with lots of choices of pods.. Fridge had juice and I and a full water cooler,, Microwave and and toaster with lots of breads to chose from.. our room was a little on the small side, but queen extra comfy bed, closet and settee.. bathroom had extra deep tub and awesome show.. all kinds of hot water.. single sink with blower and lots of storage spaces.. it all looked like it had been freshy painted not long before.. even though it was in a basement.. there was no musty smell.. breakfast was serviced to us at 8am. first morning, plate of fresh fruit, than an omelet, 2 sausages with toast,, 2nd morning.. bowl of yogurt with fresh Strawberries and syrup and than scrambled eggs, bacon and toast.. soo goood.. Thank you Kamal

The location right near Charlottetown was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. We loved waking up to find out what Kamal had made for breakfast that morning. The food was filling, tasty and presented beautifully.

The only thing I would change if I could would be to have separate climate control in the room. The main space is airconditioned but our room got a little warm with the door closed. This was not a big problem and would not stop us from staying here again or recommending this place to others.

Excellent breakfast. Kumar even prepared a "Masala" tea for us when I mentioned my preference for it.

Nothing to mention.

In addition to what guests write, what can we say more about the host/owner, Kamal and spouse. They are just great and awesome couple who simply elevated "guests" satisfaction. For breakfast, Kamal meticulously designed and prepared the 2 course meal, for yet another culinary experience. The room was spacious with ensuite; plenty of towels and hangers. Anything that you think may be missing, just ask, and it will be there. Location, for us, was just excellent, very close by car (8-10min) to Charlottetown main areas and F&B. For other areas and beaches, driving was fun. Simply, if you are in PEI, Stratford, this is the place to be. We stayed from 6 to 11 August 2025.

Very likeable and welcoming owner. Beautifully presented breakfast (the host has worked as a chef), with a variety of fruit, a delicious egg fritata, toast, orange juice and freshly brewed coffee. . Excellent bed, immaculately clean room and bath, quiet neighborhood, easy parking on the premises.

The house is located on a quiet street in Stratford, across the Hillsborough River from Charlottetown. If you are aiming to explore Charlottetown's waterfront and historic center on foot, you need to drive over the bridge, for about 5 minutes and park.

Very comfortable accommodations and wonderfully furnished. The breakfasts were beautifully prepared and delicious. The living area section has everything you could need and everything was exceptionally clean. The host was very helpful and provided anything needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great.

Great Breakfast and perfect Location, short drive to Charlottetown!

Nothing

Parking was right in front of the house. Comfy bed with ensuite bathroom plus the use of a communal lounge and kitchen area. Very welcoming host.

Location was very convenient for us. The breakfasts were excellent. The facilities had everything. We loved the use of the well stocked kitchen .

An outdoor area to sit in the evening maybe.

The breakfast was amazing. Kamal is a chef by trade and prepared a spectacular breakfast two of the three days we were there. We had to leave super early the last day so unfortunately couldn't have breakfast that day. Very quiet area but only 5 minutes from the city center. Room was very clean and there were many amenities. 10/10

If you have mobility issues it wouldn't work for you. High bathtub to get over to get into shower. Not an issue for me or the wife but could be for older people.

Amazing gourmet breakfast, devious!

Everything was wonderful, no issues!

Every breakfast was amazing the host outdid himself. The location was perfect for us to travel into Charlottetown it was a 2 minute drive.

Very comfortable bed. Close to everything. Kamal was a great host. Makes a delicious breakfast

Kamal, the owner has got this special human touch that cannot be found everywhere. He always tries to satisfy his customers even for things that are not expected in the deal. Great experience. I felt at home surrounded by family. Great breakfast, different everyday. Coffee, tea and drinks available at all time.

The best breakfast.

Liked everything

Comfortable with access to coffee, fridge, crockery etc to enable some self-catering or down time. Kamal’s breakfasts are almost worth visiting Serendib just for the visual appeal alone!

clean comfortable and welcoming. Hosts were welcoming and the food was amazing. Helps to have an actual chef owner. well equipped with beverages and gear to support guests.

nothing

Room and shared space were very clean and well appointed. Breakfasts were good and nicely presented.

Room was in the basement and this was not disclosed anywhere in the information we read. Heavy footsteps overhead, items being dropped and the occasional barking dog did not allow restful sleeps.

Attention to detail. Private. Clean. Full amenities. Felt like home. Exquisite breakfasts. Gracious friendly hosts. Wouldn't even consider looking for alternative if ever returned to p.e.i. Only 15 min from airport. Free parking.

Nothing.

Our stay at Serindib was beyond expectations. All of the space was immaculate, linens plentiful and common space very comfortable. Plenty of supplies. Every need was met. Breakfasts were delicious with beautiful presentation.

Highly recommend Serendip. We stayed for two nights. It has a great location close to Charlottetown, the room was spacious clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent, the owner is a professional chef.

Can't think of anything.

Great location, quiet and cool. Lovely rooms, shared living space and facilities. Great chef made breakfasts. Lovely hosts.

Parking could be a bit better

Breakfast was amazing. The sitting area and kitchen were wonderful and bedrooms very comfortable. You couldn't find better hosts.

Nothing.

5 Stern Frühstück

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The hosts are amazing. The neighborhood is quaint. It's an easy distance to Charlottetown. The room was great with a comfortable and wonderful shower. It's a great value.

Nothing.

there were other rooms downstairs and had their own private bathroom and breakfast prepared by the owner who is a chef.

What’s not to like for a B&B

A very clean property with very friendly hosts. Kamal & his wife are an amazing couple and ensured we had everything for a comfortable stay. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you might need I.e plateware, glassware & cutlery. They had a variety of tea & coffee options including a nespresso and keurig machine & pods. The bedroom was very comfortable with a seating for 2 people, a queen bed, bedside table & ensuite washroom. The washroom was clean and had all toiletries and towels. The highlight of the stay has to be the well plated and delicious breakfast. Kamal is a chef and enjoys making an interesting breakfast for his guests. We were served fruits & eggs in a variety of ways every morning. Definitely one of the best breakfast BnB we have stayed at

The TV in the room did not support Netflix or any other OTT platforms

The breakfasts were excellent and the room was very comfortable.

The breakfast is exceptional. The food presentation was excellent. We spent three nights and each day we had something different.

Everything was fine, I have no suggestions for improvement.

Very spacious accommodations. Hosts were attentive to our needs but left us alone to enjoy our stay.

We felt like we were visiting old friends. Jamal and Thushani are delightful. Breakfasts were wonderful! How many B&Bs offer Aveda bath products? Wow

Nothing!

We loved everything! Definitely beyond a 5 Star B&B. Location, clean, comfortable, quiet, they thought of everything, owners go beyond helping you and gourmet breakfast was a fine dinning experience.

The Hosts were very vrey helpful and the breakfasts were wonderful

Everything

Nothing

Great accommodations and great hosts.

Clean and comfortable.

Excellent location and very comfortable accommodations. Kamal and Thushani were so nice and it is obvious they take pride in providing the guest a great experience. Also, the breakfasts provided every morning were amazing.

We booked it because of the excellent breakfast only to be told they only do that in the summer. They did have coffee and muffins which we could have got at a hotel. Part of the problem was with Booking.com who did not notify us of this or that the property was damaged by Fiona Never use booking . com !!!

Booking. com

Hosts were great.

Basement suite

Breakfast was excellent, the room was comfortable and was private with the en-suite bathroom, and parking was provided at no additional charge. Communication with the host (Thushani) was easy & prompt.

convenient

mattress was too hard and size of bed a bit too small

Owners very pleasant and flexible - very considerate and thoughtful.

Very good. fresh fruit plate, great presentation and breakfast cooked to order.

Breakfast was excellent and the owners were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly.

We had a really great stay here -- the room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast each morning was truly fantastic (best waffles we've ever had in our lives!) and our hosts were incredibly friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Hosts very friendly. Nice layout for B&B - separate from owners, so lots of privacy. Excellent breakfast provide.

The property was exactly how it was described. Bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchen were spotless. Gardens were well taken cared for with sitting areas to relax in. Hosts were really friendly and informative about the location. Breakfasts were yummy, yummy yummy

This B & B without exception was as good as they get. The owners were caring and helpful. Would recommend Serendib to all.

Incredible caring hosts, awesome breakfasts, friendly, very clean, good parking, close to Charlottetown, well equipped kitchen, I would highly recommend this property when staying in Charlottetown.

Excellent hot Breakfast. Nice clean Bedroom and Bathroom. Fridge are fully stocked and choices of Coffee. Reasonable Price and Owner make us feel like home. Good location, 2km to Downtown Charlottetown Center. Highly recommend.

The hosts were very friendly we felt like it was our home away from home. The accommodations were very cozy, clean, bright and cheerful! The breakfasts every day were delicious and beautifully presented! All in all most enjoyable and memorable! We would highly recommend!

We spent 2 nights. Very clean place , 3 minutes to downtown Charlottetown, very friendly host and the breakfasts were to die for.

Everything was excellent and definitely recommend to others to try this gem B&B!

It was a great stay, our host was helpful and she made us felt at home. The only drawback was the TV in our room was quite small and also the screen when it was turned on didn't fill up to the rim of the TV, so it was difficult to watch. It may help as well to move the sofa closer to the TV(i.e. to the other side of the room). There was however a much larger TV in the common area just outside the room, and it was decorated really nicely. There was also a kitchen, well equipped and well stocked. All in all it was worth the money spent. I will definitely go back to stay there.

Excellent service with 5 Start hotel facilities. Delighted to select this place for my stay. People are very friendly and felt like home.

Very clean room and bathroom. Quiet. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good locatiom.

Friendly and kind hosts, very comfortable and clean accommodations, generosity above and beyond, just a great place to stay! I look forward to going there again!

Great location, owners where super nice. Clean room and your own bathroom. Food was simply delish. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

pleasant clean and the owners are very welcoming.highly recommended.

Host was wonderful. Breakfast was visually amazing and just as delicious as it looked.

The room we stayed was super cozy and comfortable. The location was convenient (just a few minutes driving from downtown). Breakfast was amazing.

very good

Spent two nights here and it was very comfortable and very clean. The host and his wife were excellent hosts and provided a very tasty breakfast each morning. The rooms are in the basement but you really don't even notice. The location is not great but you are only a few mins drive from Charlottetown. I would definitely stay here again.
