Lo mejor del hotel es, sin duda, el precio. Para ser Londres y sus alrededores, ofrece una tarifa bastante económica. Sin embargo, hay varios aspectos que nos sorprendieron negativamente y que, en mi opinión, deberían informarse antes de reservar. El principal problema es el bar de shisha/cachimbas que se encuentra en la planta baja del mismo edificio. Desde la tarde hasta la noche, el olor se extiende por todo el hotel y llega incluso a las habitaciones, aunque tengas las ventanas cerradas. Es algo bastante molesto y considero que debería advertirse claramente en la descripción del alojamiento. Otro punto muy negativo es que el ascensor queda inhabilitado durante toda la noche. No hay una hora concreta claramente indicada y, por tanto, si necesitas utilizarlo durante la noche tienes que subir y bajar por las escaleras. Después de pasar todo el día haciendo turismo y llevando equipaje, resulta bastante incómodo. El hotel también necesita mantenimiento y una renovación. Hay paredes agrietadas, mobiliario muy antiguo y bastante desgastado, además de diferentes elementos de la estructura que muestran claramente el paso del tiempo. En el baño, en determinados momentos, también se percibe olor a cañerías. Pero lo que más nos decepcionó fue la limpieza de la habitación. Estuvimos tres días. La habitación estaba limpia a nuestra llegada, pero durante toda nuestra estancia no entraron a limpiarla ni realizaron ningún servicio de habitación. Para una estancia de varios días, considero que esto es un servicio básico que debería ofrecerse o, al menos, comunicarse claramente antes de la llegada. En definitiva, el precio es bueno, pero hay que saber lo que te vas a encontrar. Si buscas únicamente un alojamiento económico, puede ser una opción.

In principe beviel ons niets aan het hotel. Gevoel van onveiligheid en een kamer die niet volgens de site was gedeeld.

Qua ligging geen fijn buurt. Inrichting kamer was niet zoals omschreven opde website, veel beschadigingen, tv deed het niet en de deur sloot ook niet volledig. Aangezien we andere plannen hadden, kamer eerder uitgecheckt na 1 nacht.

Bed was comfortable, clean bathroom, fridge in the room, close access to town and shopping.

Carpets need replacement, pictures do not reflect the condition of the establishment, parking was a challenge for foreigners, sewer smell if the bathroom fan isn't left on and the elevator closes at midnight so unacceptable for anyone with a disability.

The room was amazing, super clean and comfortable.

The guy that gave me the instructions needs to work on his communication because he was explaining me how to use get to the room so fast. I barely understood.

I liked it was good location from Wembley and centre of London tube walk around 14 mins away and bus 1 min.

Shisha pub/restaurant being downstairs did hear little bit of noise and didn’t feel comfortable walking in after night. Staff were ok, not extremely polite but also not bad.

We had a fantastic stay!!! A clean and smart hotel and great location!! Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful x I 100% would recommend!!!

Check in said 2 online. We got there for 3 and waited a couple of minutes till room was ready. People banging doors at 1am. Could hear traffic even with windows closed.

The inside of the hotel is exactly what you pay for. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a really good shower.

The exterior of the hotel is very tired and desperately needs updating. Our main concern was the environment outside and downstairs at night. The hotel has an attached shisha bar which was completely full of men when my friends and I returned in the evening. As a group of females, walking through that space felt incredibly intimidating. Furthermore, the walk back to the hotel was highly uncomfortable. Walking past the local Morrisons felt like walking past a drug den. There was a group of around 15 people openly using drugs there. For a small group of females having to walk past it felt very unsafe and unsettling. If you are a solo female traveller or travelling in a female group, I would strongly suggest booking a different hotel

Super séjour, personnel très accueillant. Le personnel a même changé la chambre à notre demande car avec notre petit elle était un peu petite pour qu’il puisse jouer. Tout était propre, ce qui comptait beaucoup pour nous. Très bien situé, un supermarché à 1 minute à pied où on peut faire des courses. Beaucoup de fast food à côté et quelques restaurants. Le métro est à 10 minutes à pied donc vraiment pratique.

Le seul petit bémol c’est que le service de ménage passe une fois tous les deux jours, ce qui était trop peu nous concernant, surtout quand on est avec un bébé.

Was given a double room, rather than a deluxe twin which was booked. Was given a camping style bed as another bed for the room.

The room was gross. Carpet dirty, room was musty. Carpet was covering issues with floor, uneven, tripping hazards. The neighbourhood was not feeling safe. Fights were happening outside the building that we could hear and see. Doors not secure, we saw random, non guests walk in.

Convenient location, plenty buses and 15 minute walk to Elizabeth train line I felt safe as a solo female traveller, the room was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

My room was a bit outdated though the bathroom was modern It had no air conditioning but they gave me a great fan and I could open the windows. I was a bit worried about The Shisha lounge at the front of the hotel but everyone was respectful doing their thing and polite to me as I was to them

The room that was given to me was a small single room that looked like a jail cell.

The fan in the room was really good, the room itself was otherwise clean and tidy, and the guy at reception was very kind, helpful, and explained everything clearly.

One of the windows in our room was broken and couldn’t be properly closed. Since the walls were quite thin, this made the noise from the shisha bar/restaurant directly underneath our room even more noticeable. They were very loud and stayed open until around 2 a.m. every night, which made it difficult to sleep. We also almost got out handbags stolen in front of the hotel when coming back from town (7:30pm) but I'm sure he saw my biceps so he have up lmao. We also found an opened packet of sugar and dirty spoons.. Overall it was okay but as 2 young girls we really didn't feel safe there.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as I was going to concert at Wembley the stadium! the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were super clean and the room was very updated and aesthetically pleasing! I would definitely stay here Again if I was going to London

the hotel lift didn’t work unfortunately and had to walk up a few stairs and if you are going to Wembley they have near by tube stations how ever are not direct can be a struggle getting back as it is a bit out the way than other hotels other than that it was amazing !

I thought the hotel was great. The location was perfect for getting to see London. We had easy accessible bus & train links to Wembley Stadium & Londons famous landmarks. The staff were all really nice polite & helpful. The were two young male staff one who checked us in & he was really helpful, the other one even got us extra milk for our room after we got back from our concert as it was late & the shops were closed , which was really good of him. Bianca on reception when we were checking out was lovely she let us leave our luggage in the hotel while we enjoyed a day of sightseeing. Room was comfortable & clean & was really reasonably priced. Thanks very much to all at Star Hotel we had a wonderful time.

I was a bit sceptical at first before I arrived due to reading a lot of negative reviews but I honestly couldn’t fault it, for the price we paid the comfortable room clean shower & location I personally thought it was excellent value for money & would return in the future.

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday evening, the downstairs becomes a shisha bar. Coming back the smell was horrendous, the restaurant opposite also welcomes a DJ at the weekends and all we could hear until 1.30am was the music blaring out from there, appreciate the hotel can’t do much about this though!

If you are a woman, don‘t go there alone! There are a lot of men outside of the hotel watching you (probably bc of the bar). We didn‘t even see a single woman there which was very intimidating. Even the guy on the reception said it wasn‘t a safe environment. + The room reeked of smoke.

Estábamos alojadas en la habitación deluxe y las instalaciones estaban bastante bien, baño y habitaciones modernas. Justo al lado del hotel había una parada de bus y la parada de metro a 10 minutos caminando. No está cerca del centro precisamente, pero si bien comunicado. Supermercados cerca.

La limpieza de la habitación no era todos los días, creo que era alternando un día sí y otro no. Por lo demás, todo bien.

Great budget hotel, good location for what I needed. Rooms were quite big and comfortable. Bathroom was large, clean and had good water pressure in the shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The decor and fixtures in the room were a bit tired but clean. Hotel also stated that there was air con, but this was only in the hotel lobby, not in individual rooms.

With it being a heatwave, air-conditioning or a decent fan would be great (a tower fan was provided but its seen better days and didnt really blow much air at all). Seemed to a locals meet place on an evening which could put people off. Didnt see a bar within the hotel but there were plenty within a short walk.

We got there and the person behind the counter said our room is outside so we was down some dodgy ally way with a room they was people partying behind the room in the flats or house behind us the bed was rock solid couldn't even sleep it was quite scary someone tried getting our room numbers of time we had to put the chain on the door. Brak klimatyzacji w pokojach , które wybrałam , niestety nie przyszło mi do głowy , że w dzisiejszych czasach nie będzie klimatyzacji .Dostaliśmy wiatraki , ale przy upale ponad 30 stopni , to było niewystarczające .POLECAM ZWRÓCIĆ UWAGĘ !

Los recepcionistas super atentos y simpáticos, además nos dejaban usar el microondas de recepción. Todo muy limpio. Las camas super cómodas.

It was close to Morrisons to park my car for 3 days and also the bus stop is outside which we used to go into Wembley. Local to everything and lovely lady on reception x

The noise from the work men and loads of people beep at each other lol give it a break. No fault of the hotel.

Room was well lit and comfortable and clean. A half mile walk to Acton tube line with all the access to London city. Location good with a supermarket virtually next door and a pub a little further.

Did look a bit untidy outside with a Shisha house lean too. I did think it would be noisy but it was very quiet and we were there for 3 weekend nights.

Absolutamente nada a penas llegamos al alojamiento estuvimos máximo una hora asimilando lo horrible que era.

Todo, estaba muy deteriorado, sillas rotas, pleno verano y habitaciones sin aire acondicionado.

The room was decent for 2 people. Bed was also comfortable and clean. However, if you have a room with the window facing the shisha place, it will be very loud during the night.

It was hotter in the room than outside. And the windows do not fully open for safety reasons.

The reception staff, especially Mr. Sahil, were very friendly and welcoming. He quickly resolved my room issue by giving me a better room. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

The first room was too hot and had a few issues. I reported them to reception, and Mr. Sahil quickly resolved everything by moving me to a bigger, cleaner, and much better room.

Excellent location, lovely air conditioned room. The stay had everything we needed for a sleep after a gig. Good connections to Wembley. Room was clean, a little shabby and tired, but for the price and location, there was really nothing to be upset over. I had excellent communications with the hotel prior arriving (had to double check some details). Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, the aircon was excellent. Only sound disturbance was when England won against Norway. All in all, very happy! I was worried before arrival due to the recent reviews, but I was worried for nothing. Would return !!

A little tired on the decor front. Towels aren't very large for plus size folks. Nothing to really write home about!

The room looked outdated and seemed like the furniture was just whatever they could find. The beds were also quite hard and the room was incredibly hot and stuffy with no air con.

The staff was very kind and helpful, and the hotel was easy to find. Commuting to other parts of London from the hotel was also very convenient. I was provided a new sets of towels after the second or third day which was nice. The hotel wasn't super noisy so I slept well enough. The bed was comfortable.

The room didn't look like the pictures. It was promised that a hair dryer would be included with the room but I couldn't find it anywhere. The carpet was pretty dirty and the room had no AC so it was very warm in there even though I opened both windows. The mini fridge worked fine but the inside was extremely sticky. I can't wrap my head around why the fridge's shelves couldnt be cleaned properly at least. The bathroom was mostly clean but again the floor was weirdly sticky. The room could've been a lot better. I can ignore the missing furniture but ignoring how sticky everything is quite rough in my opinion.

There is a bar downstairs and it was very loud sometimes, especially during football matches. No AC in our room but they’ve provided a fan which is nice. The beds were extremely soft, too soft for my liking. It takes quite some time to get to the main attractions, 1-1,5h and we were unlucky 1 morning coz something was wrong with the trains in our station, so had to take a bus which was also late, so we reached the center in 2-2,2 hours but that’s not hotel’s fault of course.

As fotografias não correspondem à realidade. O hotel não tem nada a ver com as estrelas que anunciam aqui. Durante uma vaga de calor com temperaturas superiores a 30°C, o alojamento não tinha ar condicionado, apesar de este estar anunciado no momento da reserva. Disponibilizaram apenas uma ventoinha pequena, muito barulhenta e pouco eficaz. A partir das 6h da manhã era impossível permanecer no quarto devido ao calor. Quando reclamei sobre a informação incorreta, disseram que nada podiam fazer além de fornecer uma ventoinha maior. Reservei este alojamento há meses precisamente porque indicava ter ar condicionado, se soubesse que não tinha nunca teria reservado, especialmente porque fica longe de praticamente tudo e a única coisa que me tinha prendido era o que foi anunciado relativamente ao ar condicionado e às fotografias. Uma das camas era desconfortável e a casa de banho era extremamente pequena. O frigobar nem deixava as bebidas que metemos lá dentro realmente frescas

I liked how modern it was on the inside and that mostly everything was clean and easily accessible

The bath was dirty, when we arrived to the hotel there was no staff to check us in and we were waiting for 10 minutes shouting ‘hello’ as no one was there. I would never but could easily have gone behind the desk and accessed confidential information. It was very loud outside as it is on top of a shisha bar, with another shisha bar around the corner. The outside of the hotel looks very run down.

Bulbs not working in main light or lamp. Fawcett came off tap in bathroom so was not able to use. One bed higher than the other, very hard mattress.

Location was good, not a long walk from the nearest tube station. Located near plenty of restaurants so plenty of options for food located nearby. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was new and modern. Check in process was easy and staff were friendly.

Lift was broken and out of service, though we were only staying on the first floor so not really an issue for us. Lack of air conditioning was an issue as it was really hot that week and we were blasted by hot air when we returned to the room after our gig. Despite having the windows open to try and circulate the air, was the early hours before the room was a comfortable temperature.

Within travelling distance from Wembley

There was a fire alarm on one of the mornings of our stay. The hotel isn’t staffed overnight so there were no staff around to guide us. All of the guests evacuated but it was clear that neither the hotel staff nor the fire brigade was automatically called. After around 10 mins of being outside it was clear that nobody was coming. I tried to call the hotel with no reply and eventually I called the fire brigade. Another guest had tampered with the fire alarm. He was acting very erratically and aggressively to the other guests and was eventually arrested. When I spoke to hotel staff they were dismissive and blamed it on the guest. And in subsequent emails they don’t seem to be taking the lack of safety procedures seriously. If there had been an actual fire, the fact that guests had to call the fire brigade could have been the difference between life or death. I had my daughter with me and felt unsafe for the rest of my stay. The hotel itself is very run down so I’d go elsewhere.

Alt for mye bruk ,sliter med å sove ,alt for gammel ,gamle og sliter møbler,sanger er helt ødelegger.passer aldri for en familie eller barn . Det er kaffe rett ved inngangen som full av mennesker og pub rett på siden av som er høyt bruk . I tillegg til at hotellet er fôr gammel.WC har dårlig lukt .enste som er positivt i hotell at personalet er hyggelig .

Rooms in poor condition, its advertised as bar and restaurant facilities this is incorrect there is no where for breakfast so you are just paying for a bed.

I stayed 2 nights and my experience at the London Star Hotel was extremely disappointing, and I felt completely misled. On Booking.com, the hotel is listed as a 5-star property, but the reality is nowhere near what that rating suggests. As soon as we arrived, it was obvious that the hotel seemed frozen in time. The reception is only open from 9:00 a.m. until midnight. After that, guests have to enter through the back door, which feels unprofessional and unsafe. To make matters worse, the elevator was out of service, which was very inconvenient. The room was clearly old and poorly maintained. The furniture was outdated and in poor condition, including a chest of drawers with a missing handle. The minibar did not work, and there wasn’t even a luggage rack or chair to place our suitcases on. The carpet had holes in several places, and the curtains were visibly dirty. The soundproofing was almost non-existent. The room door provided no noise insulation at all, and we could hear everything happening in the hallway, making it very difficult to rest. The bathroom was extremely small, to the point where it was difficult for two people to be in it at the same time. On top of that, the bathroom bin was broken, and the sink didn’t even have a drain stopper, meaning that if you dropped anything small, it would go straight down the drain. The most serious incident happened while we were in the room. Someone tried to enter without knocking. Fortunately, we had engaged the security latch, otherwise they would have walked straight in. This was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about guests’ privacy and safety. The common areas were also in poor condition. The chairs in the reception/lounge had torn upholstery, which only reinforced the overall impression that the hotel is badly maintained. Finally, the hotel entrance is located inside a shisha café/bar.

The location was excellent for the price, and we could easily travel into Central London on the tube. Our room was very clean, and the air conditioning was very effective. Priyanka, our manager, was very helpful and polite. It was great to be able to leave our luggage both before and after checking-in and out.

The lift was out of order during our stay, but one of the managers was very helpful and cheerfully helped carry our bags up to the top floor.
