Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Clean, well-kept, and comfortable. It has a parking lot and is a reasonable distance from the city centre (anywhere closer is a nightmare to drive especially if you have a larger car). The hot spring facilities were wonderful and we really appreciated how supportive and helpful the staff were. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and there were sufficient charging points. Strongly recommend getting up early to do a morning soak. The atmosphere is excellent and it means you get to try both baths.
It is an older building, well-kept as it is, so the sound insulation is tragic. We were unfortunate to have children directly above us and they literally shook the ceiling while running and jumping around. Additionally, someone kept moving the furniture (we’re assuming the chairs) and the scraping noise was also very loud. Hardly the fault of the hotel staff and the children aren’t really something they can control. Maybe they can consider putting socks on the chair legs? Or putting family with young children on the bottom floor? Anyway, no issues with the property itself but consider asking for the top floor if you are not a good sleeper.

部屋の内装がとても古く全体的に汚い印象 入り口の写真からは想像できませんが、古いマンションを少しリフォームしてホテルにしたかと思うような建物でした。 お風呂場は客室に比べたらまだよかったのですが、落ち葉が多く手入れは充分にされていませんでした。 朝食も御膳が事前に用意されておりテーブルに置かれていたため冷めていました。味もよくあるビジネスホテルと変わらないか下くらいの味でした。 ホテルの内装は外国の方が「日本の旅館をイメージしたような」もので、日本人からすると壁紙や家具の統一感がなく、この値段を払うならビジネスホテルに泊まったほうがキレイだし良かったな…と思う内容でした。実際に海外の方がほとんどだったので仕方がないのかなと思います。再訪はないです。

お部屋の間取りや、スタッフさんの対応ぶりはどちらかというと海外客向けにフォーカスされているなと感じました。客室のドアを開けたらいきなりベッドが丸見えなのはビジネスホテルを思わせましたし、スタッフさんに日本人だとわかると意外な印象を持たれたようなのが少し気になりました。ベランダからの眺めは素晴らしかったのですが、宿泊した日の夜から雨が降ってきたので、ベランダに下がってきている雨樋が漏水していて、その音と水しぶきが気に入りませんでした。

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026宿泊予定日2日前にインフルエンザにかかり、急な日程変更にも関わらず親切に対応してくれて助かりました。 季節が春先でしたが秋頃に行くと紅葉が綺麗かと思われます。また由布院に行くことがあれば利用したいです。
良くなかったと言えば語弊になりますが、施設が少し古いのは仕方ないかなと。老舗の雰囲気と受け取れば全然問題無いです。お風呂やトイレ、ベットやテレビは新しい物なので快適です。

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026We loved the private onsen, it was so beautiful and relaxing. We loved the spacious bedroom and how many families visited the hotel. It was also in a good location too. Most of the staff were lovely, a couple was hard to talk to as they would be very strict on certain things - for example, they knew we booked for us and our baby yet on arrival said the baby will not get breakfast as we didn't tell them? Breakfast was included in our booking and they wouldn't fix it.
The bed itself needs an update, our backs were sore after sleeping on it. Understandable that there would be mould given it is an onsen hotel but they should invest in getting a professional mould cleaner out - bedroom bathroom window and shower area had a lot of black mould. The location is lovely, 15 min from the floral village but it's secluded and yufuin restaurants are usually closed earlier than normal and the hotel doesn't allow you to order food delivered to the accommodation so that was hard for us with a baby. We also had to do a stop at 7/11 to grab dinner + no microwave in the bedrooms was hard also.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026食事は比較的良い方と思う。翡翠サラダはもう少し量が欲しかった。初めての感触でとても興味があります。 お風呂は大きくて良いのですが、少し深いため、湯船につかりにくい。朝は7:00より早く開放して欲しい。
配膳はネパ－ルの方でしたが、ただ置いていくだけで、料理の説明に至っては流石に無理。これでは彼女たちも大変です。食事は出来れば日本人による説明でないと内容は伝わりません。配膳についてもきちんと指導する必要があります。部屋の明かりは少し暗く感じています。ベッドですが薄い掛け布団で少し寒さを感じています。ご飯のおかわりなど、追加できる食事の説明は必要と思います。

Though the hotel looks old, the interior is clean and huge with very nice onsen. Bathroom needs slight renovation. Staff is very friendly and speaks fluent English. There is a free parking lot in the hotel.

Nous avons pu prendre un onsen privé ce qui était très agréable. Nous avons eu de la facilité à nous stationner à l'établissement.
Le déjeuner traditionnel nous a un peu déçu. Il y avait beaucoup de gens, et donc l'hôtel était très bruyant. Nous entendions nos voisins de chambre parler alors que nous voulions dormir.

최악의 경험. 온천이 굉장히 낡았고 위험함. 한국어 구사 가능 매니저 근무 중인데 관리가 제대로 이뤄지지 않은 부분에 대해 명확한 답을 듣지 못함. 관련하여 Booking.com에 정식 의견 요청하였으나 회신이 없음. 이 숙소로 인해 유후인을 다시 방문할 계획이 없어짐.

ファリミールームの3つめのデッドが固くて寝づらかったです。

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026I love it that this resort is nestled away from the nearby tourist attractions; in other words, its quiet & away from human traffic. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and having our breakfast & dinner within the resort, added to the charm.
