UHI Fort William - Campus Accommodation

La chambre est grande et l'espace repas à côté de la kitchenette pratique. Le parking devant la chambre est gratuit. Il y a un supermarché juste à côté pour les courses d'alimentation.

Il était précisé que le lit était petit mais sans dimensions exactes, ce n'est pas facile de l'imaginer. Il y a une voie de chemin de fer juste derrière le bâtiment donc du bruit. Pas de train la nuit mais le premier train passe vers 7h30 ce qui est un peu tôt pour des vacances. En contrepartie, nous avons pu voir le "Poudlard Express" de très près un matin 😂

Staff is very nice, room is good size and with shower and toilet in the room. Kitchen is good, but hob is no size on it to judge which one is which one. And with no tea bags offer.

It did not look like the room was properly cleaned. There was hair on the toilet seat, the floor looked dusty, and the shower did not drain properly.

Great location next to LIDL and Morrisons supermarket. Decent size studio flat with ensuite toilet and shower cubicle that gives you complete privacy. All kitchen appliances ( the fridge, electric cooker, microwave, kettle) were in a perfect working order. The view from the window was amazing, you could see a famous Jacobite stem train a couple of times per day. The staff were helpful and friendly. Romantic and quiet atmosphere.

A small double bed was obviously not comfortable for two adults though. The shower needed better maintenance.

Überwachter Gratis-Parkplatz, die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, das Bett ist nicht besonders bequem, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut drauf, immer für einen Witz zu haben :)

Résidence étudiante proche des bus, de la gare ferroviaire, d'un lidl et d'un centre commercial. Les serviettes de toilette sont fournis. La cuisine est équipée de l'essentiel en terme d'ustencils par contre il n' y a pas d'éponges et de torchons. Il y a un ascenseur pour accéder aux étages.

Le lieu est propre dans l'ensemble mais ce n'est pas un ménage approfondie digne des hôtels. Là on voit que le lieu est utilisé le reste de l'année (trace au mur, hotte pas nettoyée par exemple).

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great very handy for the town and room was spotless.

It was local to everything that I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

I found the property ok. Maybe a better frying pan and cooking utensils to use with it. But I got by with what was there so I was ok.

Quite difficult to find as no sign on the building and 3 consecutive streets with the same name. Needed a key card to get into the building so we couldn't go in to find someone. evenetually someone found us wandering about and introduced himself as security. Room very hot - it was 20 degrees outside and thermostat inside said 27 with limited opening of the windows.

Très bon accueil de la part du réceptionniste, grande chambre et cuisine partagée propre et plutôt bien équipée (même s’il manque 2-3 choses). Bien situé également, à 2 pas d’un Lidl / McDo / station essence, et à 30min en voiture du viaduc de Glenfinnan

Tuvimos un problema con el agua. Por la mañana no teniamos, por lo que nos pudimos duchar. Entiendo que una averia puede pasar a todo el mundo, pero en un hotel/residencia de estudiantes creo que tendrian que tener un sistema alternativo para las urgencias. Tampoco me gusto el olor que hacian los pasillos. Estava poco ventilado 😬

Stanza da campus, quindi piccola , però molto pulita, come le stanze comuni, il personale è fantastico, la posizione è comoda, dista pochi minuti dal centro, in più ha la Lidl frontale e la stazione dei treni adiacente, (dalla camera potete vedere passare il treno a vapore di Harry Potter).

Come l'altra struttura mancava il phon e il materasso essendo a molle risulta scomodo.

Me parece un precio desorbitado para lo que ofrecen. El colchón horroroso de incómodo a parte de ser superpequeño, todo muy sucio (sobretodo la cocina que daba asco) y para colmo el chico que nos recepcionó no pudo ser mas borde. Si puedes conseguir otra cosa no te quedes aqui

Il bagno era sporco e c'erano capelli ovunque. La camera troppo cara per la camera data, piccola e senza alcun servizio. Il letto troppo piccolo per due persone.

La posizione è buona e sufficentemente vicino al centro di fort William per metterti di andare a piedi in centro a mangiare. Inoltre è presente davanti al campus un campeggio gratuito.

Le stanze non sono ben isolate a livello acustico, quindi ogni porta che viene chiusa nelle vicinanze è udibile.

Tiene aparcamiento y está a unos pasos del Lidl (las vistas de mi habitación eran al cartel de Lidl) y a unos pocos más del pueblo. El personal encantador.

No estaba del todo limpio y el colchón era muy fino, pobres los estudiantes que duermen ahí todo el año escolar. El aire acondicionado no lo podías regular por lo que había que estar abriendo o cerrando la ventana todo el rato. Para el precio que es podrían tener un colchón mejor.

Location was good - very convenient for the station / supermarket / town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Be warned, rooms are not doubles. They are small double beds which are not suitable for two adults. Rooms are also tiny and poorly equipped (e.g. no bins!) and the mattresses are about as uncomfortable as it would be possible to imagine. Rooms very hot (in fairness it was very un-Fort William-like weather). Kitchen woefully badly equipped. Not good value for money at all, as it wasn't cheap.

Quand on réserve un logement étudiant, on sait très bien à quoi s'attendre : on accepte une petite chambre et on s'habitue au bruit de la rue, des couloirs ou des voisins. C'est le jeu avec ce type de bâtiment et ce n'est absolument pas une surprise. Par contre, la saleté et l'état du matériel sont inacceptables. À mon arrivée, la chambre était dans un tel état que j'ai dû passer l'aspirateur moi-même pour que ce soit vivable. Les parties communes étaient tout aussi sales. Côté salle de bain, l'eau de la douche ne s'évacue pas correctement. Mais le pire reste la literie, qui est honteuse : le matelas est tellement usé qu'on sent directement les ressorts juste en posant la main dessus. Résultat, j'avais réservé pour trois nuits et j'ai fait mes valises au bout de la deuxième. Le lit était une vraie torture et j'avais un besoin vital de trouver un endroit pour dormir correctement. J'ai déjà dormi dans des résidences étudiantes dans d'autres pays et on y trouve toujours un minimum syndical : un endroit propre et un lit passable. Ici, ce contrat de base n'est même pas respecté. Ne vous laissez pas tenter par le prix bas, cela ne compensera jamais la fatigue accumulée.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr nah beim Bahnhof und neben einem großen Supermarkt. Von unserem Zimmer konnte man direkt auf den Jacobite Steam Train schauen. Es war alles sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Besonders nett war der Mann, der uns in Empfang nahm, er war so freundlich und lustig. Es gibt Seife, allerdings muss man Duschgel und Shampoo mitbringen.

La stanza era molto grande e la posizione fantastica. Ottimo il parcheggio gratuito per i clienti.

Superfici ed elettrodomestici sporchi e inutilizzabili. Letto "matrimoniale" veramente troppo piccolo e scomodo.

Johnny and ewan were brilliant, so helpful and accommodating during our stay. Studio room was ideal, a great space.

The check in/security staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Perfect location to stay if walking Ben Nevis or surrounding areas. Also very walkable to main town area to get dinner etc.

The mattress was very uncomfortable. It was also a little loud as all the door are heavy fire doors that slam even when trying not to let them. Shower was quite small so probably not suitable for tall people (felt small to us at 5ft 1 and 5ft 6)

The man who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for the train station.

This was a terrible stay - the room was disgustingly dirty. Clumps of hair on the floor, food stains on the kettle, hair in the shower.... The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable. A complete waste of money - find somewhere else to stay!

La posizione, la cucina in comune. Il signore che ci ha accolto è stato molto gentile e simpatico e ci ha mostrato tutti i servizi a disposizione. La posizione è ottima, vicino a supermercati e al centro di fort william

La cucina non era molto pulita. Inoltre il personale delle pulizie ci ha svegliate alle 7.45 di mattina poiché urlavano e discutevano nel corridoio. Dovrebbero svolgere le pulizie in altro orario per evitare di svegliare chi ancora soggiorna e soprattutto pulire veramente la cucina.

Es war staubig und Küche war dreckig, kein Abtrocknungstuch in der Küche, schlechte Ausstattung der Kochutensilien. Zudem mussten wir mit der Mikrowelle kochen, da wir die Herdplatte nicht heiss kriegten. Es war sehr hellhörig

Maybe a small tv in the room would have been nice, otherwise it was everything I needed.

Accueil rapide certes mais même trop… nous sentions que la pause cigarette était pressée. La chambre ressemble aux photos si l’on omet tous les cheveux, poils, poussières et autres désagréments retrouvés au sol, dans la salle de bain, sur le bureau ou dans le lit. Matelas à ressort extrêmement inconfortable. Concernant l’espace de vie commun : nous pouvions nous installer dans un canapé avec une odeur prédominante de poisson et accueillis par la serpillière ! (Qui n’avait pas servie à laver la chambre ..) Je ne recommande pas, encore moins à 150€ la nuit.

Location of the building was ideal. Short walk from centre shops close by.

The room was very basic and tiny. Not what we expected from photos and description. Had trouble gaining access to the property. It states it has reception it doesn't. There is security who we had to contact by phoning Edinburgh. The bed was so uncomfortable, no TV, literally no room to move around the room. No mirror in room other than toilet. The room was uncomfortably warm all evening. Lots of noise from people coming and going from other rooms, partying.

I enjoyed my stay at these facilities. The address was different from what was listed on the map on Booking: it was even closer to the bus station, which is exactly what I needed for my stay. There were also some good grocery stores closeby. Bed was comfy and the facilities were clean.

The kitchenette was a bit bare bones and the stove top only seemed to have one setting: on or off. It also heated up the entire room.

Location was the only plus.

Bed very uncomfortable. Kitchen not particularly clean. Door to room very heavy - closed on my finger and thought it was broken! We left a day early as very unhappy with this accommodation.

Abbiamo avuto difficoltà nel trovare l'edificio. Le indicazioni sono poco chiare e non c'è un cartello. Le camere sono minuscole. Dalle foto non si capisce quanto siano effettivamente piccole e anguste. Infine non se ne può piu con questi letti a una piazza e mezza per due adulti!

Il letto era scomodo, sembrava di dormire su una tavola di legno.

Logement proche du centre ville avec un parking privé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Chambre fonctionnelle avec accès à une cuisine.
