I stayed at 2in1 Hostel and Homestay for two days, and it was such a wonderful experience! The hostel was comfortable, welcoming, and had an amazing balcony with a beautiful view. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Thank you to the team at 2in1 Hostel and Homestay for the great hospitality. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy. I’d love to come back again! ❤️

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur super! Die Lage ist perfekt, man hat eine so tolle Sicht auf Tempel und die Berge und der Inhaber ist ein toller Mensch, super hilfsbereit, lustig und zuvorkommend.

Had a lovely time at this hostel, the staff was so friendly and helpful with anything you had questions with. It was in a lovely area and the rooms were very good. highly recommend staying here when in Kandy

Notre hôte Chandana nous a donné beaucoup de bons conseils sans jamais essayer de nous vendre des services inutiles. L’emplacement de L’Hostel est aussi très agréable. On peut se rendre au temple de la relique de Bouddha en 30 min à pied ou en bus et il y a tout ce qu’il faut autour (petits restaurants locaux très bon, boulangerie, supermarché..). Enfin la vue depuis la terrasse est très agréable.

Dommage que les fenêtres des chambres ne permettent pas de profiter de la vue.

Estaba realmente muy sucio. Los baños daban grima y además no había agua caliente. Las camas tenían el colchón muy usado y se veía el hueco además de las sábanas estar amarillas.

Great hostel with beautiful views across the valley. Shandana was so helpful and sorted us everything we needed - tuktuks, mountain guides and restaurant tips. 100% recommend!

It’s a 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Kandy so not suitable if you want to walk, but this was perfect for us as we wanted a quieter spot and it’s easy to get tuktuks.

The people where really nice and were really happy to help you!

It was a little bit far from the city centre, but it was a nice walk to go there

I did stay there for two nights. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom simple but clean. The owner is absolutely friendly and patient. He gives his best to keep the place clean and is super welcoming :))

good hostel. I really appreciated the help of the staff to organise my visits and book me a tuk tuk to be on time at the station in the morning.

The lady there was very kind and helpful. I am very thankful to her for home-like facilities.

No concern with this property. Due to dietary restrictions I don't prefer outside eating. Now I am facing gastric/indigestion problems due to non fresh food provided to me in an Indian restaurant.

The staff very helpful and guide me greatly, the beds super clean and fortunately not bunk beds. The area of the hostel feels like your own home. Highly recommend

The location a bit far from center and no AC

I loved staying here! It is tucked in the hills just outside of Kandy town, about a half hour walk or 3-500rupee PickMe to the center. The whole place was very clean and charming, with lots of light and great views. The beds were comfy, the hot water was good, and the temperature in the room at night was perfect even without air conditioning. Chandana works very hard to make this such a beautiful place to stay, and it shows! If I return to Kandy, I will absolutely stay here again.

Currently not very crowded. I was the only one at the hostel when I was there. This was fine for me, but if you’re looking for a social vibe it might not be the best choice.

Everything was great except the location and the room wasnt airy so it became very very hot to sit inside the room, Though it was v clean.

The location. It was 3-4kms away from city centre and on a slant hill kind of place. Became tiring to go up and down specially in a hot weather.

The view from the balcony was exception - especially to watch the sunrise.

I even enjoyed watching the monkeys march down from the mountain!

Chandana, the owner, is so helpful, always available for any requests! Helped me arrange the day, ordered a tuk tuk for a good price, provided me with tickets for the dances.. many helpful tips!!! Thank you so much!
