The location is close to termini station, but a good walk into central Rome and sights in the heat. Excellent if you want to be near the station.

⭐⭐ Not a Great Stay at The Guardian Hotel We stayed here from Wednesday to Friday, with four of us sharing a family room. Unfortunately, our experience was not a great one, and there were several things that really let the hotel down. As soon as you enter reception, there are four steps to get your luggage up, and no assistance was offered by any member of staff. This was particularly disappointing as we had my mum with us, who is disabled, and we had several suitcases. The welcome at reception wasn’t particularly friendly either. We were simply given our room key and told where breakfast would be served and that our room was on the fourth floor. There was very little explanation or help offered. The lift was another major issue. It is very small and realistically only has room for around two people, yet there were four of us with four suitcases. This meant we had to make multiple trips in the lift just to get everyone and the luggage up to the fourth floor. At one point, my sister gave up and carried some of the luggage up the stairs herself, despite having her own health issues. This really shouldn’t have been necessary. The family room itself was very small for four people, and the air conditioning was extremely noisy. There also wasn’t enough tea, coffee or milk provided for four people. When I went downstairs to ask for more, unfortunately the member of staff was quite rude and only gave me a limited amount rather than making us feel welcome. The following morning, I asked if the hotel could arrange a taxi for us to the airport for the next morning. Again, the response from the member of staff wasn’t particularly friendly or informative, which unfortunately added to our overall experience. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. For the price and standard of the hotel, I expected much more choice and a better overall breakfast experience.

Venligt personale i morgenmadsrestauranten men frysende kold aircon trods 35gr udenfor. Tagterrassen burde være åben hele dagen og mere personale, flinke men for travlt og lidt beskidt deroppe.

For langt væk fra seværdigheder. Toiletsædet var ikke soft-close og larmede enormt. 1/2 af værelset lå i total mørke og det tog receptionen 2 dage at skifte en pære/sætte lille lampe på værelset. Vi var 3 og følte os klemt, det var beregnet til 5! Receptionen for lille og ikke så venlig/informativ om fx morgenmadstider, områdekort m.m.

The room was not properly cleaned — we even found someone else’s dirty socks left inside, which was absolutely unacceptable. The shower next to the toilet was not working properly, and when we tried to use it, the bathroom almost flooded.

We stayed here at the end of a cruise with my family. We were located on the ground floor, rooms were modern, spacious and clean. There was air conditioning which was needed during the time we stayed as the temperature in Rome was boiling. It is located quite centrally with an Uber costing €12-15 to key sites. There is a bus stop outside and a metro a short distance away. You can walk to the sites. There is a terraced bar which is pleasant. The breakfast was standard but very nice. I would highly recommend the hotel, staff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice, friendly and welcoming staffs at the desk, at the bar on the terrace and at the breakfast. Very nice hotel and rooms. Also well located near the metro and some attractions.

The hotel was excellent, and I enjoyed my stay immensely. The room was clean and modern with a relaxing feel after hours of sightseeing, it was lovely to come back and relax and escape the heat for a while. Breakfast choices was excellent and staff were polite and friendly. I have already highly recommended the hotel to family and other friends. I would definitely visit again as the location was just perfect.

Room 111 Lovely hotel, great location and breakfast, cleaned every day but cleaners kept taking dirty paper cups and wine glasses away but not replacing them, told reception to ask cleaners to replenish every day but out of 6 nights had to keep going down to reception and bar on 6th floor to get our own wine glasses and paper cups- which was a bit disappointing.

Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good and location was OK.

Facilities, but there is a thermal Spa 2 mins walk from the hotel. Would very much recommend for a few hrs to relax.

Nothing it was great

The location is very convenient, and we experienced generally friendly service from the staff. Our room was satisfactory, and we would consider returning to this hotel on any future visit to Rome.

The main disappointment was the breakfast, which felt too basic and not up to the standard expected of this hotel. Additionally, we experienced ongoing Wi-Fi disconnections on our first day. When we reported the issue, the staff member offered little assistance, and no alternative solution was provided. To make matters worse, the connection took much longer to restore than we were initially promised.

Arrived to this impressive hotel, managed to secure an early check in Albeit quite busy and had a long wait. Hotel room has everything needed for a comfortable stay, the air conditioning was amazing and much needed although the room was compact. Roof terrace bar is a great asset service was excellent however the food was mediocre. Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

Italienskt hotell i utkanten av centrum men med liten trevlig takterrass där man kan äta något lättare/ta en drink. Vänlig personal. Bra bufféfrukost där personalen talar om för dig var du ska sitta ! 10 minuters gångväg till centralstationen.

Rummet kändes något trångt och det saknades möjligheter att hänga av exemplevis en jacka vid ingången till rummet.

The rooms are small, limited storage, ( id like more draws to put things in.) although they have everything, and it all works.shower and air con great. Lift is small 2 persons plus suitcase each, Breakfast was fine, plenty of it. Roof top bar was ok. Location quiet, Walking distance to Colosseum, 35 mins. Jeff on reception was a star helping us sort a ticket issue we had prebooked ,via a tour company but not received, went out of his way to help.

L'hôtel est très bien situé dans un quartier calme ayun quart d'heure de Termini et des stations de métro A ou B. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. La chambre est bien équipée et les fruits et bouteille de vin offerts sont les bienvenus

La salle de bain manque de confidentialité. Un petit couloir en face des lits, avec le lavabo en face, la douche vitrée à gauche sans porte ou au moins un rideau pour la séparer de la chambre. Avec mon fils, nous avons du monter en alternance à la terrasse pendant que l'autre se lavait

The hotel was very nice, staff were amazing. Breakfast had a nice variety and it was very clean. We had lunch on terrace, which was excellent. All the staff were very helpful, personable and hardworking. We had a great experience at the Guardian!

Nel complesso passabile. Posizione abbastanza comoda (la stazione Termini si trova nelle vicinanze). Zona tranquilla.

Purtroppo nelle camere da letto è posizionata una luce sul soffitto fissa "tipo mini led verde" senza possibilità di spegnerla. Chiaramente, vista l'intensità, ha disturbato il nostro sonno. Colazione nella norma ma spazi troppo piccoli (sala buffet e sala tavoli).

The breakfast food assortment selection was good. The attendants in the breakfast room were responsive to requests. The front desk staff was acceptable, with an exception being one young lady who was very service oriented.

The breakfast room attendants were not proactive. The vibe was similar to a budget level hotel with free breakfast. The room was very small for two travelers with large suitcases.

Emplacement très calme et proche des accès métro. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, chambre très propre et personnel très agréable qui nous renseigne parfaitement dans différentes langues étrangères. Différents restaurants et glacier à proximité de très bonne qualité.

Le prix au rooftop sur le toit de l'hôtel très cher : 42 euros pour 2 bières et 2 spritz et en plus pas de reçu donné par le serveur.

The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast is excellent. Upstairs, there’s a lovely rooftop terrace for friends or family; the barman, Franseco, is very professional and funny.

The size of the room was decent given that we are in Rome. The bathroom was clean and it was great having a functional AC in the room. The area is very quiet so very minimal outside noise when you're trying to sleep at night. Very helpful front desk staff.

Variation in breakfast foods would be nice, the food was pretty much the same for all 4 days we were there.

We stayed at the Guardian for my birthday and the location was good, the hotel is clean and the staff were helpful whenever we needed advice or assistance. we were allocated a room in the annex which was a nice room with a enclosed balcony however this housed the air con/ventilation units for what I can only assume was the bar/kitchen area, it was very noisy and until the early hours of the morning, if you wanted an early night you needed air ear defenders! The only other issue we had was the bath mixer had broken and it was impossible to fill the bath tub as we could not change from bath to shower, this was disappointing as anyone who has visited Rome knows that there is lots of walking and our tired legs would of liked a soak! With those two issues taken into account we enjoyed our stay at at The Guardian, breakfast was good but does get rather busy and congested, the staff on at breakfast dealt with this professionally without drama.

Me and my daughter have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Guardian Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here all the staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Location is great we were able to walk to 3 museums within 10 minutes, walk 30 minutes to Collosseum, trevi fountain and art gallerys. For anything further metro station a 5min walk from hotel. We loved the roof top bar after exploring all day it was lovely to return and enjoy delicious cocktails, while over looking the beautiful views of Rome. Room was perfect for us clean with fresh towels every day. Would definetely stay here again in the future.

The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak good English, which made everything easy for us. The rooms are very clean and tidy. They’re not especially large, but they have everything you need. The bed is on the firmer side (pretty typical in Europe), but after a lot of walking each day, we slept really well. It’s also a generous king size. The bathroom is clean and well-equipped. The shower is a bit on the smaller side, but still perfectly usable. The only downside we found was that the TV didn’t work. The highlight, though, is definitely the breakfast. There’s a great selection ranging from pastries and fruit to scrambled eggs. Everything is fresh and good quality, and with so much choice, it’s a great start to the day. Even better, it’s included in the price. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Def recommend this hotel for a city visit. We were celebrating a family members 50th with teenagers in tow. Service was great, room was super clean. Fabulous breakfast buffet

Chaotic, tiny hotel that is not family friendly. When we arrived to check in there were people and suitcases crammed everywhere. Very unpleasant first impression. Not enough space for the amount of guests. The room we stayed in smelled so so bad and when we addressed this with staff, we were greeted with a hostile response. Lift is tiny (you can fit one person with a suitcase) and didn't seemed to work most of the time, so impossible to use as a family. Surprised at the "good location" reviews, as we couldn't find anywhere local to go for lunch nearby. The surrounding area has nothing to do or see. This is not a good location for small children. Staff are rude. And hotel is not 4 stars.

Modern, attractive hotel in a good location! We stayed at the Guardian Hotel for three nights in a family suite. The room was clean and well presented and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also modern, although the shower was not ideal due to the head being placed in the corner. Breakfast was typical continental with a good selection for the family. The hotel staff were professional and helpful, especially the barman at the sixth floor outside bar who made our kids feel very welcome. The location is ideal for walking into the centre of the city but also close to both the metro and train station. It also felt safe at night with a handful of local restaurants close by. All in a very nice stay and we would return.

It was in a good location, close to the metro and easy to get into the city. Rooftop bar is good. Breakfast is very good, with a nice selection.

We were on a road facing room on the 2nd floor and it was very noisy with road noise. The air conditioning was very loud and ineffective, which meant we had to have the window open. This meant we were further subjected to the noise.

My wife and I liked absolutely everything about the Guardian. It's conveniently located. There are several great restaurants in walking distance. There is a little market in walking distance. Hotel is very very clean, modern, and staffed with excellent people.

We had a great 5 night stay at the Guardian Hotel. Comfortable room for our family of 4. Modern feel. Excellent breakfast options, warm and cold, even options for my family with food allergies. Metro stations close by and plenty of excellent restaurants within minutes from the hotel. Just watch out using the safe, the heavy lid injured my finger.

Hotel má skvělé umístění pro návštěvu Říma a jeho památek. Pokoj byl čistý a uklizený. Personál milý a ochotný. Vše v naprostém pořádku.

J'ai beaucoup aimé cet hôtel très bien situé et à proximité de mon lieu d'activité, dans un quartier animé. La chambre était très calme et lumineuse, confortable et spacieuse, avec de gentilles attentions sous forme de boissons et snacks. La vue sur le parc était très reposante. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner, l'extrême gentillesse du personnel ( en particulier Magdalena), avec une mention spéciale pour le personnel de la réception qui m'a beaucoup aidée. La cerise sur le gateau, c'était le magnifique bar avec rooftop avec une vue exclusive sur l'horizon.

Comme souvent dans les chambres d'hôtel, j'aurais aimé plus de possibilités pour poser les affaires dans la salle de bain, qui par ailleurs était très bien.

We've stayed in Rome several times now - always in and around the centre. This was by far the best stay due to the location, amenities in and around the hotel and the on site hospitality. Not too long a walk into the centre and the main sites. We did have a few minor issues on arrival but they were resolved very quickly. All the staff were so friendly - especially bar/restaurant/breakfast staff and those on front desk. Opposite British Embassy - nice, safe location and not too "touristy". Would definitely stay again.

Hotel ist etwas abseits von den Sehenswürdigkeiten aber durch einen längeren Spaziergang trotzdem zu erreichen. Frühstück war vielfälltig und somit konnte mann sich sehr gut für den Tag stärken. unser Zimmer war groß Sauber und die Betten gemütlich. was ich vlt anmerken kann ist das die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind wir waren im 5. Stock und ich denke das ober uns die Bar war da wir am Abend ständig ein herumschieben gehört haben von Sesseln oder ähnlichem.

Staff were very helpful especially as we requested a room change. Arranged this for us with no questions asked. The breakfast room staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, pleasant and friendly.

Great hotel and would stay here again. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Room spotless and bed very comfortable. Great location, 10 mins walk to metro and plenty of restaurants local. All staff very helpful and friendly. Surprisingly a very easy going quiet area.

The hotel Gaurdian is the perfect location for accessing all of the sites in Rome. With friendly and informative reception staff, who were happy to provide assistance. The rooms were excellent. Clean and modern. Very comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Great quality. Staff were lovely. The bonus for us was the fantastic rooftop bar. It was a great way to end busy sightseeing days. We loved the relaxed and calm atmosphere. Just brilliant. Highly recommended this hotel. We will be back!

I was very impressed by the staff: everyone was extremely kind and efficient, both at the reception and—most of all—during breakfast. Their professionalism and friendliness truly enhanced my stay. The breakfast itself was complete, varied, and of good quality, which I really appreciated. The room itself was clean and functional, but a bit basic in terms of accessories. Unfortunately, the smell in the room was not very pleasant, which affected comfort. Another downside was the location of the room: it was on the first floor, at the back of the building, with a completely obscured view, resulting in very little natural light. Overall, the outstanding staff made a positive difference, but the room conditions and exposure leave room for improvement.

Great hotel and in good location. Room was great, so clean, well maintained and good toiletries. Very comfortable bed, great towels and the room set up gave lots of storage. Didn't use kettle or mini bar. The lift to rooms was great. The roof top bar was lovely, only had one drink there but it would be great if weather good. There is shaded areas too. Breakfast was fab, so many choices, was busy at peak times but hotel was busy as this was a 6 nations rugby wkd! Lots of lovely choices and really good croissants and Nutella! Would definitely book here again.

Great hotel within a walking distance to Termini train station& main tourist attractions. Lovely, clean rooms. Enough space for all you needed. My friend& I stayed for 3 nights and we had a very pleasant stay there. The staff were incredible, especially Enrico, the receptionist. Nothing was too much of a trouble, very friendly& very helpful. He went above and beyond with whatever we needed. Enrico pointed us towards the best Italian restaurant which served a delicious Italian food! He was very helpful with the directions for Metro and all the main attractions. Grazie Enrico! Breakfast at the hotel was simply bonissimo! Best hot chocolate ever! Again, the restaurant staff very friendly! We are sure to be back in Rome in not too long and will definitely be booking our stay there again! Grazie!

The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel very cleaned. The rooms were very tidy and they changed towels everyday. The location was perfect. Close to most of the places to visit.i will come back to this place every time I come to Rome.

Ottima posizione, hotel ristrutturato di recente. Pulito e accogliente, staff gentile e disponibile oltre che professionale. Spazi comuni di piccole dimensioni ma senza perdere in funzionalità.
