The internet was not working in the room or hotel and the manager lied numerous times saying it would be fixed knowing that it would not. Went > 24 hours with no wifi and could not do business

- das Personal ist super unfreundlich wirklich schon unverschämt - der Chip für den Aufzug ging leider sehr oft nicht - der Zimmerservice hat einmal nur die Handtücher und eine neue Decke hingelegt und wir sollten somit selbst das Bett überziehen - wir hatten eigentlich die Aussicht auf die Freiheitsstatue gebucht, durch die hohen Bäume war diese leider nicht sichtbar. - Sonntags ist eine sehr laute Party bis 3 Uhr morgens. Wir haben im 5. Stock gewohnt und es war sehr laut.

My husband and I recently stayed at 1 Hotel for a much needed couples getaway, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, luxurious, and exactly what we needed to relax and reconnect. The hotel itself was beautiful, spotless, and the staff consistently provided exceptional service. Every interaction made us feel welcome, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority. A special thank you to Adasha, who went above and beyond to ensure a special accommodation I requested was taken care of before our arrival. My wife chose this hotel... and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint! It was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. They have the best views in NYC, with the best, professional staff. Extremely professional. The restaurant had great food, please get the Brussel Sprouts, FIRE. We will only stay at this hotel when we visit, and it's quiet at night and peaceful.

The 1 hotel is the perfect setting to spend time with your partner. My boyfriend and I visited the 1 hotel and we did not want to leave. The ambience is prefect, the views are amazing, the food is so good, the rooms provide great comfort and the customer service from the hotel staff is top tier. This hotel is luxury for a reason and you definitely get the experience it aims to provide. Whether with your partner or your family, it is definitely an experience you need to have in Brooklyn!

I honestly never consider Brooklyn as a destination spot for me, but this place was recommended by a close friend, and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The staff was incredible, and very responsive. The food was also great. My husband and I were long overdue for a romantic getaway and this hotel delivered. We also got a chance to explore Brooklyn and it's culture, there is so much to do from walking the Brooklyn Bridge to the Brooklyn Flea market (such cool finds). My only complaint is that the bed was so comfortable, my husband now is looking to buy a new one for our home. We will definitely be back for a visit later this year for our anniversary.

I won't lie I had low expectations because New York is a gritty place, but the one hotel changed my expectations dramatically from the staff who went the extra mile to do obnoxious things for me and my family to make our occasion very special, to the service the hospitality the whole nine. We stayed at one hotel Brooklyn Bridge for our wedding and let me say it was worth wild! Not only are the grounds and rooms immaculate, but the staff there is so amazing. Alex Z was beyond helpful throughout the whole entire experience and made sure our needs were met. Everyone at the hotel was so supportive, especially around our wedding and made sure that everything was taken care of. The morning of the wedding went beyond smooth, and the staff made sure that we were taken care of in every way. We will 1000% be back for our anniversary.

It’s incredible service and spot. We came to Watch fifa final game Argentine & Spain and paid for entrance $80 each person. No sound for tv and only screen share by laptop and 6-7 minute previous. That was too unprofessional. Under sun no shade.we spend $500 for 2 people and didint get happy and enjoy. No recommendations.

We normally stay in Manhattan whenever we’re in New York, but decided to try Brooklyn this time, and I’m so glad we did. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Our flight got changed at the last minute, and the hotel was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which made such a difference after traveling. From that point on, everything was amazing. The spa was incredible, the food was great everywhere we ate from the café to the restaurant to room service and the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking. The only small downside was that the pool was closed for a few hours on one of the days we wanted to lounge there, but it really wasn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things. We genuinely loved our stay and will definitely be back. This hotel has officially changed our minds about staying in Manhattan. If you’re visiting New York, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Mexican/Hispanic lady at the front desk was passive aggressive and discriminatory. Told us all suites or even deluxe king rooms were sold out. Which was a lie, I came back to the front desk to ask why I had been given a regular king room after booking a deluxe, also asked again if there were suites available and her co-worker said yes and was cheerful about upgrading us. Even called when we were upstairs to makes sure we were ok. The room is not well maintained. Dirty carpets. Dirty Drapes. Wear and tear on desks and side tables. There was a horrible fan noise that started at around 12am and persisted all night. They moved us to a sleep room at 2am after an engineer spent 40 minutes in our room trying to fix it. They offered to refund the upgrade amount (USD175) which was minimal in comparison to the full price. I hated my stay here and am going to call customer service for a full refund. This place really is poorly maintained and whoever the manager is doesn’t care that it affects the quality of guest stays. It doesn’t hold a candle to the quality of the 1Hotels in London, Los Angeles or even the Times Square location. Very disappointing.

Great location with views of the NY skyline. Super comfy bed, soft sheets and pillows. Excellent room service. Access to a park with walking and bking trails. Omar and Soliman were awesome and took great care of us. A few downsides - the entire public space of the hotel includidng hallways are very dim. The room we had did not have much counter space for the bathroom which is not in a separate room. The toilet is in a small boxed in space.

My wife and I stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge a few years ago and had a wonderful experience, which is why we chose to return for the Fourth of July weekend. Unfortunately, this stay was very different from our previous visit and fell far short of what we expected from a five-star hotel. We spent approximately $7,500 for a three-night stay and the July 4 rooftop fireworks event, so our expectations were understandably high. The hotel itself is beautiful, our room was very nice, and the fireworks were spectacular. However, the service, communication, and organization throughout the weekend did not match the luxury experience or pricing. Some of the issues we experienced: • We stayed on a high floor, yet a DJ played extremely loud music with heavy bass well past midnight on two of our three nights. Even with earplugs, we could still hear the thumping, making it difficult to sleep. • There was confusion regarding the rooftop pool hours on July 4. We were told it would be open until 8 p.m., so we went up around 1:30 p.m. Only at 3 p.m. were we told we had to leave because the pool was closing for the event. • Poolside food service was disappointing. Our food arrived without utensils or napkins. After asking, we waited, then had to ask again ten minutes later. By the time we received them, our food was cold. • Throughout our pool experience and the July 4 event, dirty plates and empty glasses were left around the seating areas for long periods. When we asked for the area to be cleaned, we were told they would get to it, but it was never addressed. • At the fireworks event, which cost $1,500 for two tickets, we waited about 20 minutes in the buffet line only to find there were no utensils available. We waited another ten minutes, resulting in cold food. • Our bathroom sink was clogged and our toilet ran continuously during our stay. We reported both issues and were told an engineer would come to the room, but no one ever arrived and the problems were never fixed. • Café service was also disappointing. Staff were not particularly welcoming, and basic breakfast items such as yogurt were already unavailable early in the morning. The biggest disappointment was the handling of the July 4 rooftop event. After paying for premium tickets, we went from our room to the rooftop and were told we needed wristbands. No one could clearly explain where to get them. We were eventually directed outside to wait in line with the general public. Despite being hotel guests who had already paid for the event, we waited approximately 45 minutes outside in nearly 100-degree heat. When we reached the front, we were told we needed identification that no one had previously informed us we needed. Ultimately, we were allowed in, but by then we were sweaty, frustrated, and had to return to our room to change before enjoying the event. The rooftop itself was also extremely overcrowded, and closed umbrellas around the edge blocked views of the fireworks for some guests. When we asked if they could be moved, we were told they could not. We contacted the hotel after our stay to share our concerns. We appreciated the $200 incidental credit they offered, but given the number of issues during such an expensive stay, we did not feel it reflected the overall experience. As of this review, we have not received any further response from management. This review is difficult to write because we genuinely enjoyed our previous stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and wanted to return for another special occasion. Unfortunately, this Fourth of July experience felt poorly organized and did not reflect the level of service expected from a luxury property. We hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the hotel has a beautiful location and tremendous potential. However, a five-star hotel experience requires not only a beautiful property, but also consistent service, communication, and attention to detail.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the location made it easy to explore the area. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Whenever I’m in New York, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is my absolute go-to. Having stayed here multiple times, I can confidently say the experience is always flawless. The views of the skyline are incredible, and the service is consistently attentive and seamless from start to finish. It really has become my home away from home in the city, and I highly recommend it.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is truly in a class of its own. The views are absolutely stunning. You get a front-row look at the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan skyline, and the waterfront in a way you simply do not get from even the best five-star hotels in Manhattan. There are very few luxury hotels in Brooklyn at this level, and for me, this is the only place to stay when I come to New York City. I used to stay at The William Vale, but after experiencing poor service there, I made the switch to 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, and the difference has been night and day. The team here treats me incredibly well every time. A special mention goes to Selena, the Guest Experience Assistant Manager. From my very first stay, she went above and beyond. She actually came downstairs during check-in to greet me personally, which is something I have rarely, if ever, experienced at a hotel. She followed up by text and email to make sure everything was perfect, and that level of care made a huge impression. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, calming, and perfectly located. But what really separates it is the combination of world-class views and genuinely thoughtful service. If you are visiting New York and want a luxury experience that feels special, personal, and unforgettable, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is the place.

The rooftop accessible to the public made it feel a lot less safe and private and luxury. The shower pressure was terrible. Street noise was very loud in room.

One Hotel Brooklyn is a true standout in every way. The hotel itself is modern, chic, clean, and has unforgettable views from the rooftop. But what stands out the most is the incredible, warm and welcoming staff. My wife and I shared our 30th wedding anniversary here and the entire staff from the parking attendant to the front desk manager made us feel special. A special shout out to Selena, Justin, Kitty, Vanessa, and Steandly for their kindness and exceptional customer service. But Ms. Adora Lopez takes the cake. She should be running the country. We were blown away with her excellent communication, timely replies, and for her genuinely caring that we had the absolute most memorable time possible. We will always be grateful for her. Great location, great view from the pool area

Bedroom was dusty, had to rinse our water cups before using them as they were so full of dust. Our bedroom window would not shut properly so maintenance had to come repair it at 10pm at night while our children were asleep in bed. Not sure it was 100% fixed as we heard lots of outside noise all night long. No apology in the morning. Shower would not run hot, only fairly warm.

This was a lovely stay in Brooklyn! I usually stay in Chelsea or Tribeca but this was a lovely hotel with stunning views and incredibly kind staff. I love how sustainably focused they are!

Alex upgraded us to a room with the most beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and we could not be more appreciative. The whole hotel was stunning; everything from the lobby, to the restaurant, to the rooftop bar and inside the rooms themselves was so well designed. We had an amazing time and would love to stay here again!!

We've been traveling a lot to Brooklyn since our daughter is attending school at Pratt Institute so we have been up at least 10 times in the past year and we've finally found our favorite place to stay. We've tried so many places that were closer to Pratt but we always felt disappointed in the cost vs experience. NYC is so expensive to stay in and we were paying a fortune and very underwhelmed. I came up with a girlfriend last weekend and decided to splurge a bit and stay here and I'm hooked and don't want to go anywhere else! The vibe was amazing and felt so peaceful and serene which is wild to be right in the heart of DUMBO. Every staff member was very attentive. The drinks and food were great. We loved our room and thoughtfulness of every detail. I seriously cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If given the opportunity, I say book it!

James Gripper at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge made my birthday weekend one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. From the moment I mentioned it was my birthday weekend, he went out of his way to make me feel genuinely cared for. After helping me figure out how to use my breakfast credit while dining alone, he surprised me mid-breakfast with a mimosa, which was such an unexpectedly thoughtful touch. Later, when I asked about possibly moving to a room with a better view, James completely exceeded every expectation and upgraded us to an incredible suite with breathtaking wraparound floor-to-ceiling views of the Brooklyn Bridge. My brother, sister, and I spent hours just sitting in the room soaking it all in. It honestly felt surreal. He also coordinated everything seamlessly while I was running between appointments, arranged beautiful birthday touches in the room including fruit and a handwritten note, and was so kind and accommodating when my sister became sick on our last day and we needed additional late checkout time. Luxury hotels are beautiful because of the spaces, but unforgettable because of the people. James made me feel celebrated, cared for, and genuinely welcome all weekend long. I’m incredibly grateful to him for helping create what was truly the best birthday weekend of my life.

Very underwhelming experience, especially for what is marketed as a 5-star hotel. I stayed here for my birthday, expecting a warm and memorable experience, but unfortunately that was not the case. From the moment I checked in, the staff member assisting me was cold and unwelcoming, which set a disappointing tone for the stay. Hospitality is a big part of what defines a luxury hotel, and this experience fell noticeably short. I did receive a follow-up message from the hotel after sharing feedback, which I appreciate, but there was no proactive effort to make the stay feel special despite the occasion. In my experience, other hotels tend to go the extra mile for celebrations, which is what I had hoped for here as well. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again or recommend it based on this experience
