K's House Fuji View - Travelers Hostel

Wunderbare Lage mit Blick auf den Fuji und eigene Küche im Erdgeschoss. Das traditionelle Layout der Räume ist sehr schön. Das Zimmer hat zwei Waschbecken, sodass man sich als Gruppe gut parallel morgens auf den Tag vorbereiten kann. An den Wänden gibt es viele Möglichkeiten Kleidung aufzuhängen und auch weitere futons, Decken und Kissen liegen im Zimmer bereit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kann bei Fragen zum Ort sehr gut weiterhelfen. Auch das Senden von Gepäck zum Hotel war kein Problem.

Waschmaschine und Trockner sind sehr alt und müssten gewartet werden. Insbesondere der Trockner bricht den Vorgang nach wenigen Minuten ab. Für Wäsche muss man deswegen sehr viel Zeit mitbringen. Leider ist im Zimmerpreis pro Person nur ein Handtuch inkludiert.

Nous avons pu rencontrer beaucoup de gens très sympa, tout était propre et confortable ainsi que très bien placé avec une magnifique vu sur le mont Fuji !

We had a private traditional Japanese-style room for four people, and staying in it was an amazing experience in itself. The beds were very comfortable, and the whole facility was extremely clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could need, and we especially loved the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. A big plus was the communal showers, which were very clean and provided shampoo, conditioner, and other essentials, so we didn't have to worry about bringing everything ourselves. The hostel is a little further from the bus station, but it was still easily walkable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

1.枕頭有點低，睡覺時不太舒適 2.位置真的蠻遠的，雖然預訂時就知道，如果是獨旅獨自一人比較晚才回民宿的話要小心一點，路燈亮度沒有很亮數量也不多，走路回去的話小心人生安全

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und eine tolle Aussicht. Zwar alles nicht mehr ganz neu, aber das hat uns durch die gemütliche Atmosphäre und da alles sauber war nicht gestört.

The room was super cozy, clean with a privileged view to Mount Fuji! Kio the receptionist was absolute adorable and helpful! Good showers and awesome location!

Les espaces communs sont grands et bien équipés. La chambre pour 4-7 personnes est spacieuse. La vie du Mont Fuji, lorsque le ciel est dégagé, est incroyable.

L’hébergement est un peu éloigné, mais le chemin pour s’y rendre est agréable.

The guesthouse, although a bit far from the lake’s border, offers an excellent vantage point for viewing Mount Fuji early in the morning without the need for a long walk. The Japanese-style bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and provide a wonderful experience for families with children. The friendly staff, bikes available for rent, and well-equipped open kitchen make this a highly recommended destination.

The dorm we were in smelled really bad and the air con didn’t work great, The bikes we paid to hire were rusty and the breaks didn’t work, You had to make your own bed up too and pay for towels

Amazing view from the rooftop tarrace on mt. Fuji. The hostel itsel was a hostel how a hostel should be organised. And nice that there were options for couples to sleep together.

It was a little more distance from the busstop so when climbing mount fuji or when travelling to the city it was a bit of a walk, but nothing to moan about.

The hotel’s location is excellent, with everything conveniently located nearby. all the facilities are well-maintained and excellent.

Staff was very friendly, but the checkin was chaotic with them helping several people at once.

The room (large with view on Fuji) was poorly maintained: curtains were ripped, tatami floor damaged on many places, same with the rug and the toilet roll holder fell off with the slightest touch. I stayed at Ito in a similar priced room and that was perfect, but this was far below what I expected from K.

Die Unterkunft ist im nirgendwo. Alles ist weit weg. Habe ich bei den Bewertungen gesehen. Da war aber etwas mit Fahrräder zu mieten. Ich dachte mir okey, dann geht es. Die Fahrradmiete ist jedoch ausgesprochen teuer. Man kann das Fahrrad nicht einen ganzen Tag mieten, sondern nur stundenweise. Falls man das Rad nach 20.00 Uhr benutzen will (vielleicht möchte man ja auch was essen gehen) ist eine Zusatzpauschale von 1'000 Yen zu bezahlen. Und das für heruntergekommene, verrostete Räder. Und vor 8.00 Uhr kann man das Fahrrad gar nicht mieten. An andern Orten in Japan, die abgelegen sind, bekommt man die Fahrräder umsonst oder zu einem wirklich fairen Preis. Ich habe mir auf meiner Japanreise etliche Male auch ein E-Bike gemietet. Nie hatte ich so viel zahlen müssen und das für E-Bikes in Top Zustand. Die Duschen sind sehr beengend, haben Schimmel an der Türe und die Wassertemperatur wechselt ständig von kalt zu heiss. Die Waschbecken befinden sich im engen Korridor zu den Zimmern.

The balcony to watch the sunset with Fuji was amazing. You can get bikes for much more reasonable price than the ones along the side of the lake!

Emplacement idéal avec vue sur le Mont Fuji. Il y a des restaurants, 7eleven 5-10min à pied. Très propre et confortable. Tu peux louer un vélo. L’espace commun est grand avec canapés! 20min à pied de la gare. Très accessible. Personnel à disposition et très serviable.

I loved the My Fuji view from my room! I opted for a Japanese style room so slept on tatami mats which I really enjoyed. Bathroom facilities were shared but very clean. Max 2 nights is perfect in this hostel and Fujikawaguchiko.

The location is not in the centre but ok to walk (about 20min from the train station). The roof terrace requires some climbing and it's small. Bikes for rent are just regular, we opted for electrical ones from a different place - consider electric if you want to cycle around the lake!

Was one of our most favorite stays in Japan and would definitely recommend. It was really cool to make our own bed in japanese style. The view from the rooftop was fantastic. We were really lucky and could also see the mount fuji very clear from there. All was very clean.

Its a little walk from the station but so we could see more from the nice area and even got the opportunity to go to an „normal“ japanese supermarket

La vue est bien au rendez-vous. Ne reste plus qu'au Mont Fuji de décider quand il se montre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Les parois sont fines comme partout au Japon, mais il suffit de respecter le silence à l'image des japonais.

Our room has a beautiful view from the window and it was spacious. Kitchen facilities were clean presented well. Common area was nice too. Good recommendations for local public bath and restaurant from friendly staff.

The location is breathtaking, and as a solo female traveller I felt so safe and welcome here. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back to visit in the future!

Equipments need to be working. Many stayers put their things along the common areas making it looks cluttered.

It's basically a home-stay where u can cook and have a communal dining. The view of the Mt Fuji is breathtaking.

Difficulty to access a taxi or a cab but u can walk going to the station.

La vue est forcément le point fort de l'hôtel, mais les zones communes sont aussi très bien entretenu chaque jour. La petite terrasse est sympa aussi.

Les futons ne sont pas confortables, après deux nuits, on a juste envie de retrouver un vrai matelas. Un changement de futon serait bon.

Perfect location, bike rentals, amazing view, clean, social.

The man who did the check-in for me was a bit unpleasant. I had to make the bed myself, sheets were just folded on the bed. Pillow was really uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on paper - really thin.

The girl employee at the front desk wasn’t the nicest. A little rude. Why should we pay extra for luggage keeping only for one day?

Located right next to the train station and a street full of local restaurants, owner gave lots of good recommendations upon arrival, microwave, toaster oven, fridge and free tea was great! Stayed in the king bed room very good size and private bathroom. Nice little table area outside too.

You can hear the train all night if that bothers you but not bad

J'ai trouvé avec plusieurs autres clients qu'une personne de l'accueil n'était pas très aimable, même froide et désagréable. Aussi, même s'il y avait un couvre-feux le soir, nous avons eu de la difficulté à s'endormir puisque plusieurs clients de l'hotel parlait fort, faisait beaucoup d'aller retour dans la chambre sans fermer doucement la porte et plus. Le matin très tôt aussi.

Bon hostel pour visiter le Mt Fuji, tout est propre, la cuisine est très fonctionnelle, il y a tout pour pouvoir cuisiner c'est très pratique. L'espace commun est très agréable, et la vue sur le Mt Fuji est top ! Les dortoirs sont bien, les douches aussi, et tout est propre.

Il n'y a pas vraiment d'espace où vous pouvez laisser vos affaires, elles sont dans le couloir, ce qui n'est pas très pratique. On s'est fait piquer notre parapluie dans le rack à l'entrée.parce qu'on ne savait pas qu'il fallait le mettre à un certain emplacement, il faudrait le préciser.

La chambre traditionnelle est très sympa surtout avec des enfants L espace commun avec la cuisine parfaitement équipé Le wifi est stable Nous avons pas eu de beau temps donc on ne peut pas dire si la vue est bien mais le roof top est sympa (un peu dur d y accéder) L emplacement est dans un quartier résidentiel à 20’ de la gare

They keep it very clean. There are no private bathrooms or showers, but it’s not bad at all. We never had to wait for a shower or to use the bathroom. I also appreciated the receptionist for working hard to get me a private room since I did not know the dorms were mixed.

Sleeping on a futon is not comfortable for me. Also, the dorms are mixed with men, women, and children, which was not advertised.

Auberge propre et sympathique où il est facile d’échanger avec d’autres voyageurs. Espaces communs agréables, cuisine bien équipée et buanderie à disposition. Personnel disponible et conseils locaux. Ils louent des vélos et la vue sur le Fuji est super. J’y retournerai sans hésitation.

Les vélos ne sont pas très bien entretenus. Ce n’est pas à proximité immédiate de la gare de bus : c’est facilement faisable à pied mais il faut le savoir si on a beaucoup de bagages.

Mal isolé, nous attendions les personnes allant sur le rooftop à 4h du matin comme s’ils étaient dans notre chambre. Des enfants qui nous réveillent de bonheur en criant.

We really enjoyed this hostel - futons and the entire room itself were very lovely, the shared kitchen is full of any utensils you might need and the location was accessible from the station without any bigger problems. There was a shoe drier at the entrance which came in handy due to the rain upon our arrival. It is a hostel mostly seeked out by foreign tourists, which in our experience usually means louder groups of guests and not so much peaceful - though that is not the hostel’s fault. There is also the option to rent a bike and explore Fujikawakuchiko, which we did and enjoyed immensely.

The bikes really deserve to be serviced, the brakes were a short step from having just a placebo effect.
