Todo está cuidado al detalle y se nota el cariño con el que mantienen el lugar. Nuestro bungalow era súper espacioso y cómodo, el desayuno estaba buenísimo y todo el ambiente del alojamiento es maravilloso. También disfrutamos mucho del spa. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor fue el personal. Fueron encantadores y tuvieron un detalle precioso con nosotros: el último día era el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo pequeño y le trajeron una tarta y le cantaron cumpleaños, haciéndolo sentir súper especial. Fue un momento que recordaremos con mucho cariño

Sinceramente, no encontramos nada que destacar. Todo estuvo genial y disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra estancia.

La posizione dell'hotel è comunque buona, lontana dal centro caotico di Ubud. E' molto tranquilla e immersa nel verde.

La camera a nostra disposizione era molto spartana e piccola per 4 persone ed abbiamo dovuto molto adattarci. Non ho trovato molta corrispondenza tra le foto mostrate e la camera proposta, sembravano davvero due luoghi diversi (a volte i filtri utilizzati per pubblicizzare una foto sono ingannevoli!). Allo stesso prezzo e nella stessa zona ho soggiornato in posti infinitamente migliori. Non ho apprezzato particolarmente la piscina, a mio avviso mantenuta poco pulita rispetto agli standard, infatti abbiamo deciso di non utilizzarla. L'atmosfera è un pò troppo "Eco" e si riflette sull'intera struttura e anche al ristorante. La colazione deludente, non esiste un vero buffet, si è limitati a scegliere 2 piatti a testa dal menù. Non molta scelta per i bambini.

Fantastic place to stay and relax in Bali. Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. Walking distance to the center of Ubud through the Monkey Forest.

Breakfast was delicious and fresh. There were so many options to choose from and I really appreciate the tapas style menu.

Beautiful, quiet magical spot … twin king lights, frangipani trees and a lovely salt water pool.

If you’re walking into Ubud centre you need to go past the monkeys… I don’t mind but some people might!

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice family cottages. Beatyful locaties and garden.

With the bathroom outside there were often (a lot of) ants on the toilet.

Een prachtige plek buiten de drukte van Ubud aan ern straat waar een aantal leuke restaurants zitten. Via een weggetje langs The Monkey Forrest ben je binnen 20 minuten lopend in het centrum, maar om de apen te ontwijken regel via grab een scootertaxi of gewone taxi. Net even comfortabeler. De accommodaties liggen in een hele mooie tuin waar je lekker rond kan lopen. Het ontbijt is verrukkelijk!

De monkeys in het weggetjelangs MonkeyForrest, ze hebben mij bestolen van mijn souvenirs.

I loved lots of things: their food was really scrumptious; the environment is like a little Shangri-la at the end of a winding path, and of course the staff were all very friendly & smiley. It's now my new favourite place in Ubud!

We have stayed in many places in Bali, this one was our favorit. The place is so peacful, authentic and relaxing, it feels like how real Bali should be :) The staff is amazing, each of them, even owner and manager Bop are so communicative, nice and interesting people. We loved every second there. Food is very special as well. The neighbarhood is very pretty, many good restorants near by. We will come back definitly

Ein kleines Paradies! Sehr schönes Cottage eingebettet in einen wunderschönen Garten. Unglaublich freundliches und herzliches Personal. Leckeres vegetarisches und veganes Essen. Beste Lage in Ubud, es ist absolut ruhig, so das man nachts nur die Naturgeräusche hört. Selbst zu Fuß ist man in ca. 20 Minuten inmitten von Ubud.

Super hôtel dans un cadre très beau, avec personnel très agréable et disponible pour toutes nos demandes. Restaurant sur place très bon et à 5mn à pied de la Monkeys Forest.

Le personnel très soupirant et serviable, la nature les moutons, le potager, le restaurant avec la grande variété et créativité de plat et la qualité des aliments. La chambre d’une grande douceur, le petit déjeuner et toutes les petites attentions.

The grounds and cafe area were lovely. Organic gardens and goats. Two yoga shalas and pretty lighting at night. Fabulous breakfasts.

Rooms were a little old with broken things and a bit shabby. The pool was quite small.

Le jardin paysager est juste splendide Mais les bungalow sont vieillissants et auraient besoin d'un bon coup de rénovation.

La restauration de l'hôtel qui est quasiment vegan pas un cocktail alcoolisé,, pas une bouteille de bière.m., La taille des portions repas et petit déjeuner, Le fait que.le.café ne soit pas à volonté lors du petit déjeuner alors qu'en parallèle tous les matins vous avez de l'eau chaude sur la terrasse du café et une infusion mais vous la préparez vous même.

Bien situé. Une chambre très propre avec de l’eau chaude. Piscine correct. Point positif, la propriétaire qui a pu nous aider pour des sorties. Bon petit déjeuner.

Really great location on the perfect distance from Ubud center. Wonderful escape from the busy streets. Beautiful garden and lovely cottages. The best breakfast of Bali! And the most wonderful staff.

The cottages are lovely as they are but could use a little bit more fixes to make them perfect and slightly more luxurious and comfortable.

Tout ! C’était simplement splendide ! Un havre de paix à UBUD. Nous avons logé dans le bungalow Gîta qui a une deco soignée, très confortable et très propre. L endroit est magique, le personnel génial. Tout est fait maison !

Le Spa, le petit déjeuner et ses nombreuses options végétariennes, le jardin et sa belle piscine.

L'emplacement est loin du centre d'Ubud, il y avait systématiquement des bouchons pour y accéder. Tout est fait pour être incité à rester sur place. Les affiches pour les cours de yoga sont nombreuses à être générées par une IA et pour un eco-cottage ça ne semble pas très respectueux de l'environnement. Il y avait un trou dans le plancher de notre logement et les autres planches semblaient bien fragilisées. Enfin, j'ai entendu malgré moi une conversation de l'une des managers qui semblait proche du burn out et qui parlait de ses conditions de travail mais aussi de sa vision de la clientèle et cela manquait vraiment de respect. J'avais beaucoup d'attentes pour ce joli petit havre de paix et c'est un bel endroit mais l'éthique a manqué pour en faire un vrai eco-cottage.

The property and the staff are very warm and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. It’s only 8-9 mins from scooter from main centre. Everything was so convenient and good. Special thanks to Made, Arma and Shri they are lovely.

Le singe qui a sacagé la salle de bain 😄 Un meuble ou un fauteuil en plus dans la chambre serait idéal car il y a la place.

Nous avons adoré le calme, nous avions l’impression d’être à la campagne alors que l’agitation de la rue est à quelques centaines de mètres. C’est vraiment très reposant. Nous avons aimé la piscine et le spa et les massages ainsi que l’extrême gentillesse des personnels. La monkey for est est juste à côté et les avenues principales sont facilement accessibles. L’hôtel a également organisé des excursions pour nous du jour pour le le lendemain, c’est professionnel.

Le seul petit bémol était pour nos 3 adolescents avec la quantité des plats du petit-déjeuner qui était insuffisante pour eux sans payer des suppléments.

The Swasti Eco Cottages are situated in a lovely garden, with goats grazing, and with a lot of green privacy screening around each cottage. The wooden cottages provide ample room and are thoughtfully decorated to create an authentic experience. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the staff is very kind and helpful. We were with a. big family and friends group and the restaurant made a special treat for one of our family members who celebrated her birthday. The staff also found the mobile phone that one of my friends had not been able to find at departure and held it for us to collect.

The food is purely vegetarian and mostly based on the Western cuisine and tastes, which was a bit difficult for our Indonesian friends. I had not realised this when I did the booking. We were with 4 people per cottage and they had only provided blankets for the main bed. When I asked them to put blankets on the other beds as well, the staff asked whether my friends needed them. As they were too polite, they declined. But they were cold during the night and only after I insisted that everyone should have a blanket on the second night, they were provided. I found this not very hospitable and did not understand why the staff was reluctant to provide a blanket for everyone on the first day. The resort is in distance close to the centre of Ubud, but it takes about an hour to reach the centre of Ubud with a car. Best time to travel to the centre is before 8am. I was also disappointed that the resort was unwilling to send the mobile phone to an address in Lombok or other hotel on Bali, even though I had said that I would pay for it - luckily we could find a friend of a friend who was willing to collect it for us otherwise we would have been unable to retrieve our mobile phone.

Magnifique jardin , piscine un peu petite, je m’attendais à une plus grande piscine. La cuisine est excellente et personnel côté cuisine , notamment le responsable , très professionnel.

Gros gros bémol sur l’accueil des enfants . Piscine petite, et certains touriste odieux vis à vis de mes enfants. Et oui la salle de bain à ciel ouvert a l’inconvénient de ne pas isoler le bruit, la joie de enfants en rentrant. Bref, je ne devais réserver à l’avance demander une chambre / bungalow ou l’énergie des enfants ne risque pas de perturber certains touristes acariâtre préférant le silence religieux..voir monacale… ou juste anti enfant ( très à la mode) Le personnel n’a pas été très délicat me demandant de faire moins de bruit suite réclamation du voisin. J’ai immédiatement cadré en rappelant qu’on reprochait les rires des enfants?!? Grosse gêne du personnel qui a mon sens relève d’une mauvaise gestion des chambres familiales. Après des cons y en a a partout. Je suis assez virulente, mais si je peux épargner l’inconfort à certaine famille qui paie cher pour avoir un cadre magnifique ou le lâcher prise des enfants est possible dans la bienveillance, passez votre tour , c’est sans hésiter.

El lloc queda ben amagat i això el fa molt especial. No sents trànsit i estàs ben enmig de la natura. Menjar excel.lent. Molt bona atenció per part del personal, es nota que s'esforcen per fer-te sentir bé. Jardins magnífics, on relaxar-se és ben fàcil. Les cabanes són molt correctes i estan ben netes. Hi tornaríem!

Tout! Jardins, piscine et décorations splendides, tout en harmonie; les repas sont délicieux , soignés avec un potager écologique. L’accueil est magnifique : tout le staf et particulièrement Richard. Our stay at Swasti Eco Cottage was truely an excellent experience. I write this of gratitude for our experience and hope my recommendations will guide the right guests who enjoy the eco concept. The eco garden is a gem hidden in a busy city. Here you slow down in a beautiful garden full of different cents attracting butterflies and birds. What a joy to wake up by the sound of animals like birds and also goats 🙂 Tee and coffee was put on the terrasse with hot water early each morning. Here I sat watching the day unfold with only the gardener around working silently. Be aware that the cottage have a autentic style to it and curved, not strait and modern. All of or group of six had a good sleep. Our four night stay included breakfast which was selected from a menu which offered a large variety of healthy food. If you like cheep white toast served with fast cooked English breakfast this may not be for you. The servings were beautiful and must have cost time and effort. We had all our dinners at the restaurant. No large steaks but very well tasting. Unfortunately we missed the yoga class but did try out the massage where you could have different kinds of treatment - again this was exceptional. The Egyptian one was very deep - try it if you are a tough one. We were met with kindness and smiles by the personel - all seem fully invested in making our stay unforgettable.

Individual Balinese style cottages set in private gardens. Beautiful gardens and pool. Delicious breakfast with a wide range of choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Steps to second bedroom and bathroom were a little steep. It would have felt safer to have had a simple hand rail. However my friend and I were 77 and 80 so it wouldn't be a problem for younger guests.

Everything! The whole place is beautiful and quiet, far from the tumult of Ubud. The food is delicious and the staff very nice. I highly recommend it.

This property is truly magical - a hidden oasis close to the monkey forest but away from the hustle and bustle tucked away off of a beautiful street. The salt water pool was delightful and the food delicious, organic and mostly grown on the property or from local farmers. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

I had 5 nights of pure relaxation at Swasti eco cottages. It is the perfect place for couples or singles who want a combination of low key with the option to go into the busier parts of Ubud within a 5 minute walk. The food was delicious, the property itself is absolutely stunning and very comfortable. I spent the week reading, walking, eating local food, having spa treatments and even participated in a somatic healing workshop that they invited me to join. I highly recommend this place, and the value for money is insanely good.

Nous avons aimé le côté très nature et paisible. C’était un environnement relaxant avec de bonnes énergies. La chambre ou plutôt la villa était très spacieuse et très propre. Les petits déjeuners étaient relativement bien même s’il peut manquer un peu de quantité pour certaines personnes, très healthy.

Les cours de yoga prévus dans le programme n’était finalement pas mis en place, il fallait réserver une prof particulière. Gros point noir également sur les moutons présents dans l’établissement, ils sont en piteux état et retenu dans un mini cabanon ils sont sortis de temps en temps mais attachés !! Si vous aimez les animaux fuyez cet établissement, car c’est un crève-cœur. Ce n’est pas du tout à l’image de l’établissement et des valeurs, ce qui a impacté notre séjour.

My stay at Swasti Eco Cottages was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of my trip to Bali. The property is incredibly charming, immersed in nature and surrounded by lush greenery, trees, and beautiful gardens. Waking up to the sounds of birds every morning was a special experience. The cottages are warm, cozy, and homey, making it feel much more personal than a typical hotel stay. The food was outstanding—fresh, organic, and genuinely farm-to-table, with ingredients coming straight from the garden. Every meal was delicious and prepared with great care. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. The facilities, including the pool and spa services, were excellent, and the entire property is managed to a very high standard. I was also fortunate to meet the owner, Sandrine, whose kindness and warmth perfectly reflect the spirit of this place. More than just a hotel, Swasti Eco Cottages made my entire Ubud experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to reconnect with nature, feel grounded, and experience the authentic energy and atmosphere of Ubud.

This place was such a disappointment. From the moment I arrived, the duration of my stay, until I checked out. Here are some of the low-lights that I experienced in my 2.5 weeks at Swasti. Mice and rats in the rooms. Mosquito nets that didn't go all the way around the bed or close at the wall, and the rooms aren't sealed because they are wooden cottages. I had a Baygon burning in the bathroom constantly and I highly recommend you do this too. Mouldy tea in the mornings. And ants in the coffee/sugar on the morning tea tray. Dirty linen - sheets, towels, even the covers on the bed side pool beds were worn and grotty. And the towels were about 20 years old. So rotten and thin. Pillows are really firm and uncomfortable, I know, picky, but I'm on a roll here. "Compost pile" that is just a really STINKY pile of rotting matter right outside the family dormitory room. I'm a gardenener, I know from experience that a healthy compost pile does not smell. Great rat, mouse and monkey attractor though 😆 and on the note of this, the night staff would come and add to it around 10-10:30pm at night every night and were talking quite loud that it would wake me up. The breakfast is weird. It's just weird. It's quite noisy in general - surroundings sure, but the staff are quite noisy in the kitchen/restaurant when they pack up. Asking for a towel was much too time consuming. There is a pool onsite but you don't get given a pool towel. So I'd use my shower towel at the pool. Then I'd need a clean shower towel because the pool beds were so grotty. Anyway, blah blah I requested a Kettle in my room, so I could prepare my herbs each morning and night. But I was not provided a mug. And each morning when the tea was delivered, I would keep my mug next to the Kettle so I could use it in the evening, and every day they would take it away. Even though it was clean. So annoying. Am I supposed to just watch the Kettle boil and cool down?

Fin dal momento del mio arrivo, sono stato avvolto da un'atmosfera serena, dove la natura e l'ospitalità si fondono perfettamente. La Shala: il cuore pulsante del resort Non posso che dedicare una menzione speciale alla magnifica Yoga Shala. È un luogo dall'energia straordinaria, progettato per favorire la connessione con se stessi. La struttura, immersa nel verde e costruita con materiali che richiamano la tradizione locale, offre uno spazio dove la pratica diventa naturale e profonda. La luce che filtra, il suono della natura circostante e l'ampiezza dell'ambiente ne fanno una delle Shala più belle che abbia mai visto. È uno spazio che invita alla introspezione e alla pratica consapevole; per chiunque cerchi un luogo dove rigenerarsi fisicamente e mentalmente, questo è senza dubbio il punto di forza del resort. Comfort e Atmosfera La camera si è rivelata una splendida sorpresa: spaziosa, curata nei dettagli e caratterizzata da uno stile autentico. Il letto era incredibilmente comodo, garantendo un riposo rigenerante dopo le giornate trascorse ad esplorare o a praticare. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la cura degli spazi comuni. La piscina è un angolo di paradiso perfetto per rilassarsi, mentre la colazione è stata ogni mattina un ottimo modo per iniziare la giornata, con prodotti freschi e gustosi. Il mio angolo segreto Tra le tante cose, porterò nel cuore il piccolo "gabbiotto" immerso nel verde che ho scoperto nel resort. È diventato il mio rifugio personale: un angolo riservato dove mi fermavo spesso a scrivere e a riflettere in totale solitudine. È raro trovare strutture che offrano spazi così intimi e tranquilli, pensati quasi per chi desidera prendersi una pausa dal mondo esterno.

Estetica del letto: Questa è una preferenza puramente soggettiva, ma ho trovato che le tende a baldacchino sul letto appesantiscano un po' l'ambiente. Personalmente, le leverei per dare alla stanza un look ancora più pulito e minimale, valorizzando così lo spazio e il design della struttura.
