Lack of water to use toilets and shower. I called the contact number of the accommodation to advise on why there was no water to shower and use toilets but there was no answer . We had no choice but to leave at 7pm and look for alternative accommodation and pay additional costs. On our way out a young gentleman assistant advised that he will switch the JOJO tank on but it was too late because we already packed our vehicle and sought alternative accommodation.

I didn't like anything because I was refused to check in

The lady that in charge of this place has a horrible attitude.

I like almost everything

1.Thefact that we ran out of water without anyone notifying us 2. I'm scared of dogs and the owner was alerted and they kept on coming out all the time. 3.They must invest into DSTV streaming to make their guests lives easier

The location and parking , convenience

The place is not far from Johannesburg cbd and also Eastgate mall which is more convenient for people are traveling using Uber or bolt to move around. The lady who was clean our rooms was very welcoming and friendly including the two little puppies and the backyard garden was very beautiful perfect for braai and just relaxing outside.

One of the rooms was not smelling good we had to use our own perfumes to spray the room.

Swimming pool, 3 lovely dogs (we call them "pimpki" and we were "zpimpkowani"). Comfy room, a lot of things inside like kettle, microvave, fridge. Also there is a washing machine

I liked the pool just because it was hot

1. There was no water and the staff gave us little water to use for toilet and bathing 2. The floor and the bath tub was not clean. 3. There was dog fleece in the room. I saw a black and white dog 4. The knob of the bath was not working, they gave us a washing dish not knowing where it came from and used by who. Unhygienic 😞 5. The staff does not come to check up on you.

We had a nice evening, The ladies were friendly.

I did not like the fact that they had a 🐕 in the yard my little boy was scared to go out because of it

It was closer to where I wanted to go.

Bed was not comfortable. The room was not properly cleaned. TV was not working.

The homely feel and kind assistance and service from all staff members. Tge order and professional running of the place is just a rare.

I may sound exaggerating but yes, Margaret's place has the rarest standard of service and facilities and staff professionalism, warmth, kindness and respect. Very refreshing to be staying here with you. You understand your business against your client's needs. Super clean home, run efficiently.

The staff were lovely and so helpful and accommodating, the garden was charmingly beautiful! The little extras in the room were so sweet and useful and the early check-in really helped things be more comfortable!

The host was very welcoming n nice..The facility was clean and ready for us the host even had to swap some other guests so that the 2 units that we booked can be close together....Overall had a very nice stay..We were even welcomed to chill outside at the pool area after we had checked out..

Nice place in Johannesburg in a safe neighborhood to spend the night. Host was nice and the breakfast was super good.

We had 2 rooms and one lack cleaning.

This is a nice room with a kitchen behind the main house. There was a washer and dryer to use for a small fee. Parking was convenient behind a gait in the front. It was easy to come and go. The room was basic but a good deal for the price. There was a nice pool but it was winter so no desire to use.

We needed a place to overnight on our vacation and Margaret's Place was a nice option. The property was secure and located in a convenient location in Joburg. The room was large and the bed was comfy. Breakfast service in the room was a nice touch.

The room and bathroom were a little on the chilly side.

The place itself was very clean, neat and cozy. We staff is very friendly and helpfull. The grounds is very well kept, neat and clean.

We where suprised by the location. On our way to Margarets Place, we drive through a "not so save" neigberhood. We where really concern the futher we drived - but it ended up to be okay.

The staff were amazing. Nice and accommodating. There were issues with water pressure and hot water. Pool was clean but cold. Loved the property dog.

a very quaint and quiet place. Pool was cold but very clean and refreshing. The outside ambience was nice and relaxing. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook, although the burners take a long time to heat, it was sufficient enough for me to cook. Not hot enough to boil a pot of pasta water though. I am very pleased with everything overall.

The pool looks incredible, unfortunately we did not get to use it as the weather was too cold. Nice spacious room. Kitchenette had everything we needed.

The staff is very much welcoming and good towards its customers, the pool was also beautiful including their garden and not to forget their amazing breakfast.

They didn't have enough water in the area however they made ammends and that's also something beyond their control so pretty much there is nothing not to like about the place.

Friendly staff. Veldeen welcomed me, 😌, Felt like home. The whole place has a very calming atmosphere with a great garden and pool. Despite municipal water shutdown, we were well provided for by the staff on a daily basis. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

The bed in our room was laid out in the middel. We kept rolling to the middel of the bed. Was n bit uncomfortable

The pool side and the garden

There was no air conditioning or fan It was extremely hot

The place is lovely and accommodating towards my dog. The resident puppy Leo is adorable, and him and my Mr Black Jack play so well together. Nice to have some garden area to relax in. The ladies here always make me feel at home. It is my second time here, and I will be back. The kitchen is well stocked for basic Self Catering and the breakfast cereal is a nice touch.

They can consider an upgrade, perhaps. My mattress is a bit old, I think, as it was not super comfortable. I am also not a huge fan of blankets on the beds, as I am never sure if they get washed after every guest. These are small things and wont prevent me from coming back. Mr Jack and I are thankful for your place.

The staff were amazing, even that we arrived too early, they managed to not deceive us.

This is one of the best accommodations, it's very comfortable and homely. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. From the time we arrived we felt very warmly recived, we checked in earlier than check in time and there were nonissues there- found our rooms ready! The room is quite spacious. Very lovely and friendly staff. The garden/pool area was our favourite, very nice just as the pictures show. Very clean pool. The yard is also right below flights path so every now and then we saw planes pass right above us from O.R Tambo - my son really enjoyed this! Well equipped kitchen with several types of cereal provided as well as a cartoon of milk! (How thoughtful!) Lots of storage space in the room plus the bathroom. Lots of towels provided even to use for pool. We had parking right beside our room, felt very safe.

There was no running water, however this is communicated right when we checked in that there was some ongoing maintenance in the area (not their fault!) but our host provided us with bottles of water on the day and the following morning. No aircon in the room but a fan was provided. Cereal bowls were too small (almost not practical for an adult).🤣
