The stairs, if u have multiple bags it’s very difficult because the corridor to go up is very narrow

The staff is super friendly and great at English, the food and drink options are delicious, the rooms are clean and cosy, the facilities are great. The location is amazing, next to Tsutenkaku Tower and close to the well connected Shin-Imamiya station. The vibe of the hostel, with the records, the coffee, the bahn mi, and the lounge area is also super nice and very inviting to relax!

It was very clean, convenient, and everything was easy. The employees spoke good English.

The public spaces and vibes are so great. Everyone is friendly and the food and drinks were good! Rooftop lounge is cool, the area directly nearby isn't too loud or "shinsekai" (fried food and tourists) but that stuff is very accessible.

The ac in our room (the cactus room) could have been a bit cooler, and the cafe opened a little late for our liking.

I loved the area!!! Very close to the Tsutenkaku tower and the prices are very affordable. The staff is very welcoming too! It was a bit smelly in the mornings in the area of the cafe lounge, but the rest was perfect

The air conditioner worked a bit too much at night and the other people could see your bed because the curtains didn't close the bed 100%

The location was fantastic being next to Tsutentaku tower and shinsekai. Staff was also extremely friendly and are quick to greet you whenever you return to the hostel.

The whole place felt a bit rundown and dirty. The expectation was to be barefoot while in the dorms but you can sort of feel all the debris underneath your feet while walking. Maybe providing complimentary slippers would be nice.

Die Lage ist ruhig und supernah am quirligen Shinsekai. Das Personal ist supernett & das Hostel bunt, gemütlich, unkompliziert, sauber. Ich war mit 2 Teenies unterwegs und wir hatten ein 4er Zimmer für uns. Wir fanden es einen perfekten Ort, um in Japan anzukommen - Danke auch an das nette Team, die mir meine vergessenen Kopfhörer unkompliziert nachgeschickt haben :)

Extrêmement bien accueillie par Hiro, j’ai passé un trop court séjour la bas mais vraiment très agréable! Allez y les yeux fermés! Tout le monde est gentil et souriant.

Le personnel extrêmement gentil et ouvert à la discussion, l’emplacement proche de nombreux endroits à découvrir, la décoration et l’ambiance chaleureuse de l’établissement.

Le bâtiment un peu étroit et bas de plafond (surtout si vous êtes grand) et l’isolation du dortoir (bruit de la rue assez audible, heureusement des bouchons d’oreilles nous sont offerts à l’arrivée).

The beds are a bit hard for a European, but other than that everything was 10/10!

What an amazing vibe this hostel has! All the workers are you chatty and sweet. I had the most warm welcome from the owner. The facilities were so nice, especially the rooftop to dry your cloths and the huge lockers for your backpack.

The entire team at the Pax Hotel was very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were in perfect condition and very clean. The premises are beautiful and it is a pleasant place to stay. Thank you again to everyone for the warm welcome.

The hostel created a very comfortable and social home base for my visit in Osaka.

Total nettes Team! Gemütlicher Lounge/Café-Bereich. Dachterrasse. Großzügiger Platz rund ums eigene Bett herum.

The hostel staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was super chill/relaxed. The most social hostel I’ve been in Japan (but still very quiet compared to other countries :)) the position is perfect for eating lunch and dinner and exploring Osaka, very lively neighborhood. Clean.

Nothing. A couple of neighbors were a bit loud at night, but that’s part of the hostel life.

Service varies highly, some staff were super nice, especially the head manager/owner who knew my name. Some other days staff barely acknowledges you, I ordered a Ban Mi on my second day (which was very delicious), but whoever served me it was kind of rude, just handed me my plate in total silence. I did like however the storage options, you're provided with a small padlock locker in your bed, a code-locker in the room, and an open luggage storage space.

I'm accustomed to hostels, but there's barely any insulation between each bed, light and sound easily leaks between the planks, and my first night I had somebody above me practically snoring into my ears, ended sleeping most of the night on the lobby couch. The beds are wildly uncomfortable, the fultons are brown and tired, the mattresses are very old and flat. Cleanliness could also be much better. There's a bit of an identity crisis since this is both a cafe and a hostel, if you're lounging on a couch in the lobby as a guest, and group of people walk in, you will be asked to change your seat. Shinsekai is a very hot tourist spot, so expect noise at night and in the morning.

This was my first time staying in a hostel and already it has set the bar high. Right off the bat the staff were friendly and I had lots of lovely chats with them throughout my stay. I stayed in the female dorm, everyone was friendly but stuck to themselves. The best was comfortable and had a curtain for privacy. I left my suitcase in the room but there is also luggage storage available too which I ended up using after check out so I could travel around still. The atmosphere in the common area/cafe is an absolute vibe with vinyls and creative trinkets hanging around. The music was always good and so were the Bahn mi + cocktails. They even had a rack of secondhand clothes outside that you could buy from. Travellers were respectful and friendly - I found myself having occasional chats with them too. There is a lot going on in the surrounding neighbourhood but I found it was never noisey from the hostel. During the night you could hear some creaking noise from the bunkers but it wasn’t an issue for me. Ear plugs are also given to you by staff with information about your stay. My highlight was the rooftop as they also had hammocks you could attach to the wooden beams to lay in. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe.

It was very clean! I felt comfortable. Although there was only 1 shower on our floor it was clean and had good privacy. I felt at ease.

Narrow stairs.

Het hostel is heel centraal gelegen. Dichtbij verschillende metro en JR lijnen en dichtbij bezienswaardigheden. Het hostel ligt net in een straatje achter de drukke straat waardoor je niet veel last hebt van geluiden op straat. Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en spreekt heel goed Engels. De sfeer in het hostel is gemoedelijk, ruimte om tot laat beneden te zitten, maar je kunt je ook rustig terug trekken op de kamer. Prijs is voor centraal Osaka heel schappelijk.

Amazing value for money in Osaka. Ceneter of Osaka

There was one guy who was staying there working in Osaka. He woke up early every day and went to the bathroom which is internally connected to the sleeping room on the 2nd floor. He has a chronic coughing syndrome. For 1 hour of him preparing - showering etc. you would hear him loudly cough. I had bad sleep for the entire sleep. You can hear the cars driving, which also could wake you up or make it hard to fall asleep. The curtains for your 'capsule bed' are not wide enough to cover all light in the room - such a simple way to fix it.

L’équipe est géniale et très accueillant, la location est top. On se sent bien dans cette auberge. Tout est pensé pour nous faciliter la vie. Foncez !!

This hostel had a welcoming cosy feel, comfy bed and clean bathroom facilities. I was even able to use the rooftop terrace to do a workout! Would definitely recommend this place.

Personalet var SÅ søde, placeringen var fed og sengene var dejligt private ift. at det var et hostel! Der var også god plads inde på værelset, så man kunne åbne sin kuffert osv.

Det var lidt nedern at bære sin kuffert op på 3.sal på den smalle trappe, men sådan er det jo. Synes det var lidt varmt om natten, men lå også i den øverste køje.

隔音很差，床是木製上下床會發出聲音，地板也是給拐給拐的，窗外相隔的牆壁也很薄，可以聽到經過的引擎聲 盥洗室沒有拖鞋，要光腳踩地面，但廁所有拖鞋 有些置物櫃在房間外面，進出房間又需要按密碼，小麻煩 浴室只有一個，可能要排隊

Le quartier etait un peu trop touristique pour moi; mais hyperpratique pour aller a l’aéroport et a koyasan.
