Fantastiskt rum en trappa upp! Stort, rent, vackert med enastående utsikt över Oban Bay. Trevligt välkomnande och hjälp med bagage, ovanligt nuförtiden. Att ordna sin egen frukost var ett billigt och bra sätt att lösa frukosten.☕️

Shared kitchen well stocked and clean. Breakfast good value. Great being able to make tea anytime. Room was good size. Shower was great! Plenty of storage and hangers.

The location on the bay is superb with car park very close. The shower had good water pressure and temperature nice and hot. The communal kitchen was well stocked

The twin room had small beds, not the most comfortable. The room was warm even with the window open, there was no fan in the bedroom. Some guests did not understand how to clean up after themselves in the communal kitchen. Some guests did not understand quiet hours, despite clearly posted instructions

The first step I walked in the room, it felt a bit dreary or spartan, not exactly run down, but kinda bare and depressing. the facilities are very outdated and the room is quite small. Then their bathroom did work out, the shower temperature kept alternating unexpectedly between very hot and very cold, we can't even take a bath. Can't believe I paid 140 pounds for this. The room I stayed before this place In the same area, with the same price, was an next level. Then when I contacting the reception about this problem, there's no any apologize, just tell me there's nothing they can do, and give me a card said I can contact the manager. And I send the message to them, also send the email to them, this issue has been totally ignored. I have issued the official complain through booking. It's pretty disappointing.

Loved the fact that we could safely park our bicycles overnights in their back area.

Not their fault but I have a lung disease and we were in room 25 which was at the top of the building. I found it very very hard walking upstairs. I had asked to be somewhere quiet away from the pub downstairs 🤷🏻‍♀️ so as I say possibly my fault for not saying that I am disabled.

Great bedding and towels. Good location Self serve breakfast good concept but poorly executed. Staff friendly and stored my bag ahead of check in.

No blinds or privacy curtain and room was overlooked so felt I had to close blinds despite it being an amazing sunny day. Cheap bedside table Badly finished walls. The bathroom looked like something from a secure unit. Not a jot of decoration. Cheaply decorated in desperate need of modernisation. handsoap that didnt even work. Shower screen wrong size for bath. Mirror placed for someone who was 6ft. Its okay and the bed was really comfy, but its essentially just a hostel at hotel.prices.

La situació respecte al centre ciutat i la vista al mar des de l'habitació

Estava molt brut. Tant, que vàrem haver de netejar el vàter i dutxa nosaltres mateixos amb llexiu, ja que estava tot brut i pixat per fora. Atenció per que està a sobre del pub amb música a tota canya fins les 2 de la matinada i ple de gent vomitant al carrer... fins i tot la policia ha vingut a detenir persones... impossible dormir fins les 2am

Das Hotel liegt am Ortsrand der kleinen Fischerstadt. Das Zimmer waren groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Meerblick aus dem Zimmer und dem Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück hätte etwas variantenreicher sein können. Parkmöglichkeiten gegen Bezahlung auf öffentlichen Parkplätzen am Haus vorhanden.

Uns fällt kein erwähnenswerter Punkt ein.

The location in Oban is really good and the Markie Dans pub underneath has great food and lovely people. Live music most nights.

Entrando nella zona comune della palazzina che ci ospitava abbiamo sentito subito profumo di pulito. Scale tipiche inglesi ricoperte di moquette perfettamente aspirate e pulite. Cucina comune grande ma non abbiamo usufruito del servizio. Camera comoda accogliente, materasso comodo e doppi cuscini per tutti, pulita, bagno non nuovo ma funzionale. Ultimo piano senza ascensore ma lo sapevamo, lo hanno ricordato in mille modi. Siamo stati in settimana, il pub al piano terra molto rumoroso persone che chiacchieravano a voce molto alta fino a tarda notte... ma anche qui lo hanno detto in mille lingue. Riscaldamento utilizzato e finestrone sul tetto completamente apribile per un buon cambio d'aria.

La posizione di fronte alla baia, tutto raggiungibile a piedi, il parcheggio privato e gratuito. Le stanze, pulite e letti comodi. Il bagno in condivisione tra le nostre due stanze era facilmente raggiungibile.

La musica la sera che proviene dal locale al piano terra. Ma era scritto nelle mail e ci hanno dato due camere in alto (senza ascensore) più tranquille.

Great value for lunch and lovely staff too!

Although we knew about the live music at Markie Dan's and enjoyed it - it did go on till 1am on Thursday into Friday morning which was much later than expected when we had an early start. It can sometimes be 2am on Fridays and Saturdays so prospective guests should be aware of this. Ear plugs available but there is no escaping it!!!!

Amplitud y decoración de la habitación la hacía cómoda y agradable. Las camas eran muy cómodas y las vistas desde nuestra habitación al mar y a la catedral eran muy bonitas. Adicionalmente hay disponible una cocina para los huéspedes maravillosamente equipada. Volvería mañana mismo.

El baño estaba un poco más viejecito, aún así era perfectamente funcional y correcto.

Bra läge. Fina rum och det funkade förvånansvärt bra med delat badrum eftersom vi var 2 rum som delade 2 toaletter och en dusch. Superbra att man köpa frukost och bara betala för det man ville äta.

Inget, förutom möjligen något dyrt men om man jämför med priserna på Skye så var detta ändå mer överkomligt.

My bedroom , too Small ,nowhere to put clothes , nowhere to sit except the huge bed . A small chair would have been good , no coffee and tea in the room , the room far to small for a double bed a single would have been much better and given the room more space ,room no 30 .

Great kitchen facilities for guests; honesty system for breakfast items worked really well and meant you only paid for what you used rather than the usual hotel experience of paying a huge amount for a very average buffet.

Bien placé, avec des chambres propres, une salle de bain pour les chambres 22 et 24 en commun très correcte, et un pub en dessous ! Une bonne adresse pas loin du centre d’Oban !

Noisy extractor fan all night, couldn't work out where from. Real Ale beer is crazy expensive!

Location, rooms, bar downstairs had live music. Great for our group as we used this as a stop on tte way up further north. Oban itself was really lively with some good bars and restaurants. Views were brilliant. Would definitely stay again

We needed to change rooms and it was done right away and no problem at all. Staff were fabulous.

Es ist wirklich ein bisschen laut, was grundsätzlich kein Problem ist, außer man möchte am nächsten Morgen eine sehr frühe Fähre nehmen

Great location and awesome amenities - the kitchen is fabulous.

No lift and lots of stairs to drag luggage up. The first time I stayed the staff (a Scottish girl) were awesome - friendly and helpful and helped me with my bags.

We were on the top floor - 51 stairs with no lift. Very hot with no air conditioning. Shared bathroom on different floor. Car parking close but council owned and payment required between 9am-6pm.

Our room was out to the front, meaning that there was some noise from the pub in the cellar during the evening and the first night someone made a scene, screaming his lungs out for an hour while being escorted away by police.

Nous avions réservé 2 chambres. Une chambre très agréable située sur l'arrière du bâtiment principal. La présence d'un pub juste en dessous n'a pas été un problème, et a même permis de dîner et de passer une agréable soirée.

Une chambre vraiment petite, avec une literie un peu moyenne dans le bâtiment secondaire.

Efficiently run guesthouse and bar, easygoing and without pretensions. Markie Dans music festival was on when we stayed. Good bands. Dinner good value and served quickly. Sound was well controlled - bands hardly audible from our room when we retired for the night. We liked the community kitchen idea and the freedom to make your own breakfast or buy stuff from the shelves and fridge.

Goed uitgeruste keuken waar je kan koken. Leuk dat je zelf ontbijt kan bereiden in een gezellige sfeer met andere gasten.

Er was weinig contact met uitbaters/personeel. Alle formaliteiten dien je zelf te regelen en dat is niet leuk voor het vakantiegevoel.

Great location. Close to the train station, many shops and restaurants, and the ferry terminal. Staff were friendly. Kitchen was clean and organized.

The first time I stayed the Scottish lass at reception was SO NICE and helpful - helped me with my bags, showed me everything… so good. The second time I stayed a different person was very different to this. I had to make three trips to drag my bags myself despite asking for help, for example. I loved the community kitchen - great for me.

The steps! No lift! Nearly killed me

All great. Room was very spacious. Bathroom was modern with a huge shower. The self-serve / self-catering kit hung was super well organized.

Location is fabulous. Views of the Firth of Lorn and surrounding islands is wonderful. Clean, comfy rooms. The bar on the ground floor provides a nice night cap stop.

Sehr schöne Lage direkt am Meer. Aufpassen an der Eingangstür wegen des Windes. 😉 Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Unsere Betten waren sehr bequem und wir hatten mehrere Kissen zur Auswahl. Bad/Dusche und WC teilt man sich mit nur einem weiteren Zimmer, ebenfalls sehr sauber und unsere Dusche war toll! Starker Wasserdruck und verstellbarer Duschkopf. Alle Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück kann man zum Komplettpreis buchen oder auch nur einzelne Dinge zahlen. Kaffee und Tee sind frei. Sehr komfortabel zum günstigen Preis, wir hatten es auf unserer Rundreise auch schon ganz anders erlebt.

Leider kein Fahrstuhl, unser sehr schweres Gepäck mussten wir über die Treppe in die 2. Etage schleppen.
