IL faisait une chaleur insupportable, et nous n'avions qu'un petit ventilateur, pas de clime dans la chambre

Location was great, breakfast was a bonus and staff were friendly.

Had a king room and would have liked a little more space to put bags up off floors to open and close them.

Eigentlich alles war super , nur ein bisschen laut wegen Zentrale Lage , aber mit einem Ohrstöosel ist alles super, übrigens in Zimmer gibt es Ohrstöoseln 👍

It is in the center.

The triple room was too small for three person, and the two small fans are not enough for three people inside the room. It gets hot in the middle of the night.

Location was a good fit to visit the attractions close by that we wanted to see. Staff were universally warm and welcoming and endlessly helpful. Breakfasts and dinners had lots of choices and of good quality.

Probably a drawback to many London hotels with lots of traffic noise quite intrusive. The room was not overgenerous in size, it had all the functionality we expected but the fabric and fittings were a little tired looking and a bit distressed in places.

強いて言えばですが、３泊したあと一旦チェックアウトして2日後また予約をしていたのですが、その間スーツケースを預けられない決まりというのが残念でした。

Idéalement situé proche des bus, métros, gares de Euston et Kings Cross St Pancras. Hôtel très propre. La literie est excellente. Le personnel très accueillant et arrangeant. Présence d'une bagagerie. Check in tardif et check out très tôt sans aucun problème.

Hotel vieillissant, cerrtaines chambres sont un peu passées (moquettes usées). Pas de mitigeur sur la douche.

Hotel je na odličnoj lokaciji, svega par minuta hoda od 2 stanice metroa, blizu je i autobus, kvart je miran, puno je dobrih restorana u blizini. Osoblje hotela je ljubazno. Puno nam je značilo sto smo nakon odjave mogli u hotelu ostaviti kofere, budući da nam je let bio kasno popodne, pa smo mogli vrijeme iskoristiti za razgledavanje.

Stayed at The Tavistock many times. The rooms vary in size and decor (have been updating rooms) but have always been clean and equipped with tea & coffee, hairdryer etc. The staff have always been approachable, friendly and polite. Great location: close to Russell Square and Holborn tube stations. Walking distance to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Oxford Street, sone of the theatres and much more. There are number of cafes and restaurants nearby and Tavistock Garden and Russell Square are lovely small green spaces in which to sit and relax in also nearby .

Die Lage ist sehr gut für Besucher, die mit dem Eurostar anreisen. Die Zimmer enthalten alles, was man braucht und sind sauber. Hervorzuheben ist das reichhaltig Frühstücksbuffet, sehr appetitlich präsentiert.

Gute Lsge, nettes Personal, Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber. Essen ist generell gut und das Frühstück ist top!

Im Verhältnis zum bezahlten Preis sind die Zimmer sehr klein. Fenster können nur wenig geöffnet werden, daher sind die Zimmer sehr warm ( keine Klimaanlage).

We stayed here for a total of 9 days the rooms were so stifling hot we couldn't sleep, the staff was uncooperative and sullen. it was dirty everywhere.

Stylowy hotel, bardzo dobrze zlokalizowany. Przyjazny i pomocny personel, bardzo dobra śniadania, pub i restauracja w hotelu. Pokój rodzinny jest duży, w kształcie litery L .W okolicy wiele lokali, dobra komunikacja do ścisłego centrum. W gorące miesiące problemem może być brak klimatyzacji, ale we wrześniu było ok.

Very convenient. Several tube lines in ten minute walk. Bus 91 takes you to Trafalgar Square. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean. The location is wonderful.

The room was exceedingly warm and did not cool down despite a fan and open windows. The tap was so short that unless turned on full, the water fell on the countertop and needed mopping up.

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel : buffet très bien garni avec beaucoup de choix. Hôtel très bien placé : proche des bus et métros et à 10mn à pied de la station St Pancras (Eurostar)

L'absence de climatisation dans les couloirs et les chambres. Le ventilateur dans la chambre est insuffisant.

Main selling point is the location. Bloomsbury, and reasonable walking distance from Kings Cross and Euston Stations, plus Russell Square Tube. Room was very clean, and the restaurant staff are very welcoming.

Not a lot to actively dislike, but not much to get excited about either. It was described as a king-size room - the bed was, but it took up most of the space. There were a lot of scuffs and chips in the room and the corridors, it needs some TLC. The food was mediocre and they cram a lot of people in at breakfast. Calling your bar the Woolf and Whistle is unforgivable.

London was very hot that day and our room was stifling hot. We are used to heat but opening the window didn’t help much at all. I realise many London hotels do not have air conditioning but it was an uncomfortable night sleeping. Fortunately by morning it had cooled down.

I'd say it has clearly had some investment to improve it's quality, but it's still a basic hotel compared to others in the area. I thought all the staff were super friendly, and both check-in and out was very easy. The bar was great as was the food quality and the room was pleasant and quite. It was clean, had good facilities and did what it needed to

It does look a little faded in parts, and the rooms (at least the one I was in) could do with new carpets and headboards at some stage.

Lager sehr gut. Am Frühstück gab's nichts auszusetzen. Personal sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind sehr bequem.

Zimmer doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Duschkabine statt Duschvorhang in der Badewanne wäre schön gewesen. Keine Klobürste vorhanden. Der Wasserhahn am Waschtisch ist falsch montiert. Wasser läuft beim Händewaschen auf den Waschtisch und setzt das Bad unter Wasser.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. There have been updates to the rooms and reception/lounge areas which have improved the comfort of staying. The bar area and food available also excellent. Hotel is very handy for buses and tube. Nice view of leafy Tavistock Square. Historical context of the hotel being on the site of Virginia Woolf's former home adds to the experience. Lovely stay as always.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

No air conditioning in the room only in the main reception area at the entrance to the hotel. Tired looking room and old bathroom. The room was way to hot and noisy to be in with no aircon and with very little ventilation from the windows.

The breakfast was excellent - wide range of choice. The location was great - close to tube stations. The dinner in the Indian restaurant was also cvery good. Also a good meal in the lounge/bar area. So glad it had a very good lift to the upper floors especially for luggage.

The huge bed in the room was unnecessary. A regular suized double bed would have been perfcetly adeqaute and given a bit more space in the room. The only thing lacking in the room was a small desk to work on a laptop at for example.

De warme temperatuur in de kamer (raam kon open maar veel te veel herrie van buiten dus met oordoppen slapen! ) en dan zaten we nog op de 7e aan parkzijde. Maar ook de hele kleine badkamer waar je nog in een ligbad moet douchen en je kan totaal geen toiletspullen kwijt.

The location was especially convenient as it was my graduation on the 8th. We could travel to and from places very easily. The room was cosy, clean, the beds were very comfortable. The shower’s water temperature and pressure was perfect, and it was very easy to use. Wifi was very reliable, and the greeting on the tv was a lovely touch!

The noise from the main road was more or less manageable, but the left window could not shut fully. That being said, we did have two good nights’ sleep.

Im August war es unerträglich warm im Zimmer. Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen. Der kleine Ventilator bringt keine Abkühlung. Unser Doppelbett war schmal und in die Jahre gekommen!

Excellent emplacement et quartier magnifique à explorer en jour comme en nuit et proche de mal de lieux touristiques. La station de train et de métro sont proches ce qui facilite les déplacements pour voir les autres quartiers de Londre. Un superbe petit déjeuner à ne pas manquer aussi chez cet établissement. Je n'hésiterais pas à y revenir next time. Et merci pour le personnel pour son amabilité.

Une brosse WC est à envisager dans la chambre.

A única coisa desagradável, foi o tratamento de um funcionária, com lenço rosa na cabeça, que me ignorou quando eu só queria buscar as minhas malas que estavam guardadas lá. Ela não foi nada solícita e me entregou as minhas malas só porque o gerente mandou. E ainda bateu a porta na minha cara, além de tudo é mal educada. Uma exceção, já que todos os outros funcionários foram excelentes.

La camere non sono grandi e prive di condizionatore e quando sono stato lì faceva molto caldo anche con le finestre aperte inoltre la zona è rumorosa e con le finestre aperte d'estate non è il massimo

Double bed is small. My spouse fell off the bed and her arm was bruised by the sharp corner of the end table. The room was not comfortable because it was small and had no air conditioning.

The food quality and service of the buffet breakfast are excellent. The location of the hotel is very convenient for travelling around.

Breakfast was a letdown, food didn’t smell great and certain dishes were undercooked. The rooms being hot to be in is hardly the hotels fault, but I don’t recommend staying in the hotter seasons since there’s no AC, and sleeping was difficult.

Too close to Main Road, was kept awake every Night by Emergency Vehicles Ambulance, Police etc …😭😭😭 Couldn’t sleep, terrible!

The hotel has period charm (1950s) and a convenient location overlooking a square garden.

Compact basic room with no air-conditioning and windows which barely opened, plus occasional traffic noise, meant poor sleep on a warm London night.

I liked the room, very clean and comfortable with good tea and coffee making facilities. I liked the location, only about a 10-minute walk from Euston Station - perfect for a tired person arriving late on a Sunday evening. Friendly welcome from the staff.

I can't think of anything. I'd definitely stay here again if I want to be close to Euston.

Admittedly summer with high temperatures but allocated room on top floor- no air con. Fan provided but inadequate. Room should not have been let- far too hot and affected sleep. Lighting over bed did not work. Rooms dated.

It was comfortable and clean in a great location. I thought the staff were friendly and efficient. Also the breakfast was very good.

It was definitely hot. The open windows and fan were a big help but I had to use the cover without the duvet so that I had a light cover. One does not need or want a giant fluffy duvet in the summer.

I liked everything except the noise at night.

I have been coming to your hotel for 20 years.. yes maybe only once each year but!! I have always trusted I would have a lovely night's sleep . I should of thought something was off when I saw 2 packs of ear locks. Where these sleep well .... I didnt !! An awful weekend away .. I will not be using your hotel facilities again x

Location, cleanliness and staff generally friendly.

The lady at reception when I arrived. She just glared at me. I had to say hello and how are you! Not welcoming at all. Maybe she was new but I wasn't impressed.

Beautiful old hotel opposite beautiful garden. Far away from the very bust centre but easy walk into the centre of London. Breakfast was exceptional.
