The hotel was very nice and the restaurant was very good. There's limited parking and no smoking on the property.

Overall, this is really your best choice in Dipolog. All the staff are extremely friendly. The air conditioning and WiFi in the room were solid, and the bed was terrific! The negative in the room is the lighting. It’s super dim, which does not give a cheerful atmosphere and also makes it hard to read. Just replace with brighter lights, and it would be great. The breakfast was adequate, but lacking. Some fruit, and a pastry or croissant would really help. Getting a ride to the airport was very nice. It’s only 6-7 minutes away. But this is critical: when you arrive at Dipolog Airport, there are only motorbikes and trikes- no taxis. So if you are more than 1 person and / or have more than one suitcase, you absolutely must arrange for transportation in advance.

Ok.

Very close to the airport and provided breakfast.

No glaring issues.

The check-in was really quick and all the receptionist was very nice places to eat was all walking distance. We had an excellent stay thank you very much.

Everything was good 👍

It’s the most convenient hotel in the city close to almost everything. The only downside, they don’t change their linen often or the laundry is not done well as it shows smudges or hair upon getting in to the room. Maybe they’re saving some cost on linens. Not worth it, the hotel looks luxurious and it should match the room quality.

Breakfast was great.

Dated property for the $

Good location.

The shower head needs cleaning from water mineral buildup. Bathroom smell funky. Would be nice if small mini fridge in the room.

D’Hotel is hands down my favorite establishment to stay at when I visit Dipolog City…(see my prior posts going back to 2017). The rooms are nice, the restaurant is exceptional but as always, I always judge and summarize my experience by how ‘I feel’ and that can only be influenced by the amazing, courteous and professional staff! The character and demeanor of the staff at D’Hotel rivals the level of five star international hotels! You can’t go wrong by selecting D’Hotel! ❤️

Great Staff... Very Nice and Friendly. They respect their guests very much. Early Shuttle to Dipolog Airport was right on time. The food in DiHotels restsurant is great, nice restsurant, air conditioned

The place is so clean and convenient to everywhere we go. Staff are so helpful.

Sign on refrigerator says complimentary water, drink on us. My wife, daughter I drank the water (5 bottles) and was told at Check Out that the water in the fridge is 60 pesos per.. had to buy those “free” waters. TV didn’t work, remote was taped. They should double check these rooms for readiness, clients don’t have time to be calling the front desk all night. The front desk had no idea on that restaurant hours of operation. Said that they’re open until 11, when in fact they close at 9. Educate the staff. Showers water was barely warm at best, not nearly hot enough. Not sure if I’ll be back, may try Arianna instead.

Breakfast was good! Restaurant staff was very friendly and cordial.

The elevator was not working during our stay.

Everything

Nothing

Great central location in Dipolog City and close to the airport. Best option in Dipolog if you're looking for a modern hotel. Very comfortable with friendly staff. The restaurant also does good local food and the service is also great. The hotel has its own diesel generator so brown-outs aren't a problem. The free hotel wi-fi was easy to connect to and we had no problems with speed.

The bathrooms need a refresh as the shower heads, although functional, were showing their age with a lot of corrosion. Also it would have been nice to have a glass screen to partition off the shower instead of the shower curtain, which didn't do a very good job of blocking the water from getting onto the main bathroom floor. Also, the included breakfast is pretty basic - just a western option and a filipino option - but fine otherwise.

It seems like the Hotel is not properly maintained. The air conditioner is dripping water and it is located above the bed. It rained hard during the night/early morning and there’s a leak by the lobby coming from the roof and when we reported the problem, they put folded towel to soak up the water leak. It looks like the problem existed because there’s rust by the ceiling light housing. The elevator have a sign that it’s under maintenance but no one is working and it’s been broken for more than a week.

Overall clean room. Had trouble getting the door lock to work when leaving temporarily. Doorman and staff helpful, respectful. Bathroom shower nozzle could use some scrubbing. Build up of hard-water residue and/or mold? Hotel provided toothbrushes that were very abrasive on the gums? We forgot our toothbrushes. AC worked well. Comfortable mattress.

Very good location and property is quite new

Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Had hairs on the floor. Faucet was leaking

A pleasant surprise to say the least. I’d classify it more as a boutique hotel. Incredibly clean inside and out. The rooms are on the small side but well laid out and modern. The beds were actually really comfortable compared to most beds found in the Philippines. The best part it was actually extremely quiet. Indoor voices seem to be in low supply at most hotels in the Philippines. The restaurant was really good with a tremendous selection to choose from. In fact my wife and I ate there every meal while we were visiting our daughter in nursing school. The staff were professional and very attentive. My only complaint is the lack of consistent hot water in the shower. The only other issue was inconsistent WiFi. Seemed to always drop out at the most inconvenient moment. I have to say Dipolog is the quietest and cleanest places I’ve ever been to in the Philippines. The rest of the Philippines should take note. Well done Dipolog!

Staff is very friendly. Restaurant is ok.

Rooms are very blunt and basic, not very appealing. Bathroom appliances need serious cleaning. Aircon is noisy.

The staff was excellent. Friendly and courteous. Dining room staff was excellent. Both restaurants had delicious food at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend staying there

Best hotel in Dipolog, plain and simple. Good breakfast, beautiful rooms and big windows. Responsive staff, you can arrive late no problem

Great location in the city center.

In the heart of the city

Not only did I stay but also attended a wedding reception held at the hotel. Excellent service provided by all staff.

None

Within the City Centre.

We left a message to the receptionist to ask the housekeepers to clean our rooms as we were leaving early in the morning and not coming back until very late at night. When we came back, we were surprised and disappointed to see nothing was cleaned at all.

The breakfasts are very good and the service crew are very good. Also the price are very good. I have nothing to ask for more.

I have nothing to ask for more

Everything was good but the most amazing is the stuff amazing people thank you for everything ❤️

near the City

Well overall I really like the fact that was close to everything the only thing is no Taxi and I choose the wrong room

This is one of our favorite hotels but it was busy so we had to book one of their smaller rooms. The room had no refrigerator. Hotels.com stated it had a water heater and coffee and tea but it had nothing. The room we rented was a twin room with supposed twin beds but the beds seemed smaller the twin size. Breakfast was good and there is a bar on the top floor.

Staff are friendly., good service

Staff and location.

AC not cold. We were provided with electric fan to help

The breakfast is good but i wonder why the fruit is not being served anymore. The location is good

The heater in the bathroom is defective

Location was good. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Need better water pressure. The shower head needs replaced, only half the nozzles sprayed water.

Center to everything

good location

power cut and air conditioning not good.

Good location, near to everything

Poor Breakfast included

Location and avcesibility to local transportation. The place was very clean. The entire staff were very hospitable and friendly. The have good food at the Olive Tree restaurant. Breakfast was portioned accordingly. Great place.

This hotel was awesome. The staff was excellent especially Jula. She was very very helpful. The food in both restaurants was delicious. The morning team at breakfast was incredible and super friendly. I would recommend to anyone. Very good.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the place is clean. Will surely book again. I highly recommend the place it’s in downtown Dipolog and close to everything.

Facilities and central location Everything i needed and handy for everything

Only thing I didn’t like was the advertisement on the website showing a swimming pool and there was no swimming pool?

Stayed four nights, room was reasonable size, bathroom ok, bed comfortable, breakfast a bit too Asian but was ok, airport shuttle worked!! Only complaint, they charge per hour for early check-in, even when the room is ready, I found that strange since the limited flights to Dipolog arrive morning of early afternoon.

Our reservation didnt go through so we had to stay in the lobby for a while. We went to the elevator and its very confusing since there elevators buttons are broken. theres a paper on the side of the elevator with all the stuff you should press. Our hotel room was on the third floor so before we get to our floor from the ground we have to pass by the fifth floor wait for the elevator to close and finally we get to our floor. The rooms has a do not disturb button and also a make up room button. The room we got were good for the 3. Theres a tv but it only has little chanels its reasonable though considering the price of the rooms. Our bathroom door was broken so i had a hard time opening it and I dont know about the other rooms but our bathroom had a hair dryer and a heater. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast of toninos is also very good but i feel like there rice is too dry. Overall nice hotel for its price.

accessibility

The Room we stayed that is good for 2 persons at 3rd floor is clean and comfortable. I notice few issues in the room and in the hotel. Room Related 1. The Toilet was having problem with flushing. 2. The Intercom (Telephone) has no Dial Tone making it difficult to Communicate whth the Front Office so I have to go down. Hotel Related 1. The Elevator was having problem with the floor buttons. 2. Their Existing Credit Card Terminal Machine for Credit Card Payments needs an Upgrade for a much better Machine that if Cellular Coverage is poor the machine can connect to their hotel wifi making it fast and convinient for the Guest and less headache for the FO. Overall experience with this hotel is Great but needs some minor improvements. So far we have no problems with comfort. Beddings, AC and Towels are cleaned and well sanitized. I will be coming back to this hotel since it is located at the heart of Dipolog City. Looking forward that these minor issues cited will be corrected.

We always stay at D’Hotel on our travels back to Manila, we had Small Issue at check-in over upgrade I made to our room on Hotels.com app, , it was taken care of , we stayed in executive suite , nice room, very spacious, only issue was the spa tub did not work, it would not fill as water was very little when turned on. We dined in the 1st floor restaurant , I look forward to the sweet and sour fish but my wife and I were very disappointed with our meals . Instead of nice breaded filets , we got bits and pieces of fish with too much breading. It took quite a wait for our food to be served as our group of 4 was the only diners in the room. The servers and wait staff were good as well as the front desk and security officer.

Right at the centre of the city. Staff were very accommodating & friendly. Breakfast was good but not much choices compared to the last couple stays we had.

Bathrooms need upgrading, shower is old & slow.

The hotel is centrally located and is near to Sunset Boulevard. The staffs are very courteous and friendly.

the hotel staff seemed helpful and door security staff was friendly and interactive. The elevator and bathroom smelled like sewer water and the toilet was running constantly and didnt flush properly, was tild maintenance staff not available. If the restaurant on the ground floor is operated by the hotel the staff seemed very unhappy and only interacted to take a food order, the free breakfast offered was portions fit for a toddler not an adult. Ordered pizza and was brought in from outside so not aure why offer something you dont actually cook in your restaurant, order ice coffee 4 times and always a different flavor even though was same order. Restaurant definitely needs some better management and teaching to wait staff to at least seem happy to wait on hotel guests.

Amazing staff. Limited food choices due to shortage of supply, I guess! My overall stay was very nice.

nothing, bath room toilet did not flush correctly, shower head limited water came out!!

The best in Dipolog

Relaxing

Very clean

I visited the D For 4 nIGHts in October 2020 . To my surprise there was no bell person to take my bag to my room. I was told that they do not do that. I am in my 70s and disabled so i would have liked that. After I dragged my bag to my room I went down to the casino to see if I could get some lunch. Supringingly the breakfast and lunch restaurant was closed for good . Your choice was mc Donald's or a hot dog stand. For 4 mornings and afternoons I was forced to go next door to the 4 Queen's to eat a sit down meal. I had 1 dinner at the D . The room was fine . Hope they serve Breakfast at their new hotel that's opening this month RICH DISAPPOINTED

Always a pleasure to stay at the dhotel

Internet was nonexistent, Hotel advertised cooked to order breakfast, was also false as we received jolibee and hotel restaurant opened at 10:30. The airconditioning did not properly cool the room during the day and was uncomfortable.

The executive suite was almost perfect. The reason being is we really want a king size bed and a good size of a room that is not tight for us to move around. The downside is there was no balcony or window that actually faces outside, at least a view that you can look at. Overall it was a nice place to stay. If you are looking for a pool, this hotel is not for you. We will surely stay at this hotel again.

Been staying here for the last 3 years and have nothing but positive remarks.

I was driving with friends from Negros the entire afternoon about a month ago, and the ferry trip from Dumaguete didn't make things any better. When we got to the hotel I wasn't expecting so much, but I was totally surprised how cozy and very welcoming this hotel's ambience was. We were here for just a night, and it wasn't disappointing at all. Staff was courteous and the bed was a comforting welcome from that day's long drive.

Great amenities on site. Room was amazing but i had no view. Great hotel to stay at.

Great little hotel with clean room, great wifi nd good breakfasts. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good, great food and excellent service. Will stay there again when we are in Dipolog.

The hotel staff e-mailed me asking how I will be arriving and the approximate time. This came in handy as it reassured me my room will be ready for me - no waiting for cleanup.

Accommodating and understanding, responsible and hospitable, everything is excellent Food and the room The ambiance, Harmonious, very relaxing It’s simply perfect place to stay and dine
