Good Location

Hallways are not clean, it has a smell which you do not expect from a 4 star hotel. Value for money even for a standard room doesn't match. It is a good hotel, but not to the standard of a 4 stars.

I booked the standard upper level room and it gave me a beautiful view of the city. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly.

I was charged 500 CAD holding fee which wasn’t not communicated. Booking.com only confirmed that I’d be charged only 300 CAD. I received 400 CAD back with no explanation why the other 100 CAD was not paid back. Another thing some of the kitchen staff are quite rude and not helpful. It’s a pity I did not get the lady’s name who was rude to my colleagues and I. It was a white, short lady with blonde hair. She had her hair in a ponytail. If the kitchen staff at HÔTEL Monville has a problem with serving African travelers then the property should not accept our money from the onset.

Riesiges Hotel mit Massenabfertigung. Wir haben alles online gemacht und mit niemanden gesprochen. Die Eingangshallen überfüllt, die öffentlichen Toiletten im Hotel dreckig und aufgrund der Hotellüftung das Zimmer sehr laut.

Très bien mais déçu que l’on ne peut avoir accès à la terrasse le vendredi soir car reservation pour un mariage le lendemain. Très décevant.

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, ebenso das Bad. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, ob zum Hafen oder in die Innen- oder Altstadt. 1gehminute entfernt ist ein toller Bäcker, Starbucks und ein kleiner Supermarkt.

Der Herr beim einchecken macht auf uns einen sehr arroganten Eindruck, er spulte sein Text auf französisch runter ohne darauf Rücksicht zu nehmen, das wir nur Englisch sprechen. Wir schauten ihn mehrfach fragend an, wenn wir seine Fragen nicht beantworten konnten, was ihn aber auch nicht störte. Er erzählte weiter....irgendwie bekamen wir dann unsere Zimmerkarte.

Hotel moderno nel centro di Montreal! La posizione è ottima per visitare sia la città vecchia che quella "nuova". Ottima la colazione, varia e di buona qualità. La nostra stanza era al penultimo piano e la vista era davvero gradevole, soprattutto la sera!

Il bagno. Era praticamente in camera con un lavandino- per quanto di design- praticamente di fronte al letto. In un hotel di questo livello- e con questi prezzi- mi aspettavo di più!

On arrival I was told about the terrace on the 20th floor, I went up to investigate only to be told I wasn’t welcome as there was a private function ongoing. This happened twice in the 3 days I was here. possibly a nice feature if it was ever accessible. My “TV greeting” was aimed at someone else. My TV & phone did not work on arrival. I requested an iron, it was not delivered, I chased & just got the iron, no board. Stupidly I put a few items in for laundry service, 48 hrs + I’m still waiting. I leave the hotel at 06:30 in the morning and would like to b able to pack but I can’t as I’m still awaiting my Laundry. It’s now 19:00 hrs, I put it in at 11:00am yesterday & have been chasing since 12:00 today. My laundry was eventually delivered at 20:30. It’s a joke hotel !

Clean, modern and good location.

Breakfast had pork in everything even baked beans had pork in it which makes options for hot breakfast limited if you don’t eat pork. Informed the staff they said they cannot do any thing about it. Was very disappointed about it.

Great location within short walking distance of Old Montreal! I felt very comfortable exploring the city on foot. The hotel is also one block away from the new Air Canada airport shuttle which was very convenient. Relaxing and airy atmosphere for breakfast in the morning.

Great practical hotel in a perfect location (between downtown and the Old Montreal). Good breakfast with greatly appreciated extended hours during the weekend.

A minor displeasure was the difficulty to have the decaffeinated in-room coffee refilled. We had to ask everyday.

Hotel nuovo, posizione strategica ad un paio di metri dal Palazzo dei Congressi (metro Places d'Armes) da cui parte la navetta AirCanada da e per aeroporto e vicino a un'ottima pizzeria italiana, uno Starbucks, Burger King, un minimarket e altri locali di Chinatown. Si possono raggiungere a piedi praticamente tutte le attrazioni della Vecchia Montreal e del Porto Vecchio e con una camminata leggermente più lunga anche altri luoghi turistici di interesse. Le stanze non sono enormi ma abbastanza per potersi muovere e aprire due valigie grandi senza problemi, dotate di ogni confort, prese elettriche multiple e distribuite correttamente, illuminazione regolabile, tenda oscurante elettrica per la notte e tenda leggera per il giorno. Bagno comodo con doccia ampia, con cornetta e soffione. Asciugamani nuovi ogni giorno (se richiesto) e prodotti per la cura personale. Cassaforte e minibar in camera con frigo, bollitore e macchina Nespresso. Colazione ottima nella hall molto grande dell'hotel e terrazza all'ultimo piano (20 esimo), presente anche la palestra. Tre ascensori quindi nessuna attesa e in generale piani molto silenziosi. Tengono le valigie se necessario al momento del check out. Richiesta una caparra al momento del check in che coprirà eventuali danni. Ottima colazione.

La colazione è davvero ottima e abbondante ma i camerieri sono molto veloci a sparecchiare il tuo tavolo senza chiedere anche se tu non hai terminato, appena vedono che hai il piatto vuoto arrivano anche se sei ancora seduto lì. Ho riscontrato questo ogni mattina per le cinque mattine in cui ho utilizzato il servizio. Ovviamente si può continuare a mangiare, prendendo nuove posate e nuovi piatti ma è comunque spiacevole, sembra un invito a lasciare libero il tavolo. Specifico che ci sono tavoli a sufficienza e non è mai affollata.

Room did not seem to be well designed --no drawer space for eg items not usually hung in wardrobe and in general other stirage was narrow shelves, no plug for wash hand basin, no fold up holder for unoacking luggage ( but one provided on request before we left) just one chair

Good location to stay and explore the city. Comfortable and very practical room (not very big, but well organised). Breakfast buffet with good variety and quality (in line with expectation for this range of hotel) and good availability hours. Be aware that bar closes at 22:00 already

Nahe bei Altstadt und Hafen, auch Autoverleih um die Ecke, gute Zimmer und sehr gutes und vielseitiges Frühstücksbüffet. Auch hop on bushaltestelle an der gleichen Strasse. Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Bel hôtel, personnel sympathique, chambre confortable, service de voiturier efficace, très bon petit déjeuner dès 6h du matin.

Quelques points qui peuvent être améliorés pour que tout soit parfait : le papier toilette est de mauvaise qualité, il faudrait un bar au niveau du rooftop et surtout un miroir grossissant pour se maquiller.

Leur chocolat (trop de lait, on ne sent pas le gout du chocolat) le buffet petit dejeuner est bon mais legerement repetitif. Ce serai bien au lieu de 3 jours de oeuf brouillé , avoir des oeufs au plat ou omelette.

Our room was quite small, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, and offered many delicious options. The staff was helpful and friendly. Valet quickly retrieved our vehicle for our departure.

Me cobraron más de lo que había reservado por booking, además lo reservé con el desayuno incluido y luego me dijeron que no y tuve que pagarlo a parte. Además la gente de recepción nada amable con nosotros.

The location is perfect. I stayed on the 17th floor so I had a great view. There is a lovely aroma when you enter, some kind of subtle citrus scent. The housekeeper was excellent. The staff were very helpful.

My friend booked separately and asked for bottled water for the room upon arrival, which she of course offered to pay for. And the staff not only refused to accommodate such a simple request, but was also a bit abrupt about it. Very unexpected based on typical standards of customer service. We also had a reception staffer that was very unfriendly during checking, including toward a fellow staff, so we tried to avoid her as much as possible for any other interactions. There was also no iron/steamer in the room, which would be pretty standard these days for modern hotels.

Liegt ideal und ist sehr modern und wohnlich eingerichtet. Habe mich selten in einem Hotelzimmer so schnell wohlgefühlt.

Frühstück war okay, aber nicht überwältigend.

The Hotel is really well located. The standard room is nice and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast is also very good with options for all tastes. The only thing I did not like is that I had previously emailed the Hotel to reserve a valet parking and I was advised it was booked and all was in order. When I got to the Hotel I was advised that there were no more spaces avaible and I had to go find parking 2 blocks way.

Great location and very comfortable bed. We had a handicap room, so actually enjoyed the bigger space. The coffee service was well stocked and there is a fridge.

Breakfast a was a bit pricey, so you may choose to look elsewhere if the morning was nice; we had rain so chose to eat at hotel.

Locate at the heart in downtown, very convenience, room is clean, great value, stuff are nice and provide good service.

Location is excellent for access to Metro, Gare Central, arts & entertainment, Old Montreal. Our comp breakfast was unusually good. Clean, upscale, and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

Room was quite small; inadequate space for clothes, no desk or writing surface. Heavy quilt with no option for a lighter sheet to sleep under.

La habitación para 3 es una habitación para 2, muy bien para 2, pero la cama extra que ponen no puede ser peor, es terrible. Es una hamaca que se hunde con un colchón fino encima.
