Great character hotel and staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location too.

Maybe been made aware in advance to get hot breakfast as that looked great.

The staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond. Love the feel of the place, so homely and inviting.

Great location on a quiet street away from the noisy bars at the seafront. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was just right and we were comfortable throughout.

Lovely place to stay whilst visiting Ramsgate. Will definitely stay again.

View was an eye sore as our room was at the rear of the building where it looks over back yards and a tall storey council block undergoing recladding works. This did not spoil our stay though as we were out all day.

Some maintenance issues with plumbing. Vital equipment missing such as clothes airer and colander. Pans old and scratched. Had to wash kitchen equipment before use.

The appartment was next door to the hotel in a quiet road. We found a car parking spot within walking distance. It was within easy walking distance of the bars, restaurants and the seafront. A good breakfast was available at an extra cost. Great showers and bathrooms. There was an outside seating area and a good kitchen.

Friendly, cosy place to stay with lots of character. Excellent location close to the harbour and perfect for walking to Pegwell Bay Nature Park. Room was a good size painted in a calming blue with local artwork and a comfortable bed. Friendly staff who radiated their passion for Ramsgate and all it's charms. Would definitely stay here again.

Hard to fault. Perhaps the usual dilemmas of hotel-staying - Never enough clothes hangers and nowhere to hang/air your wet towel!

The location is great, just down the road from the sea, tucked away on a quaint little street, with its own deli and bookshop! Own car park at the back and very handy for restaurants, the harbour, lovely walks and bars and shops. The staff were ALL excellent, from the moment we walked in to the minute we left and were so helpful and welcoming. Our room was bright and spacious with some fun local artwork on the walls. Beautiful, quiet sunny and shady garden at the rear. Continental breakfast was plentiful, with fresh toast and warm croissants.

The location was a short walk from the seafront and set back enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. The facilities were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere very chilled. Breakfast was a small continental, but is served next to the cafe and extra items and choices can be added in which we made use of. I would definitely stay here again.

It was very hot when we stayed and the rooms do not have air-con, which left it a little uncomfortable at times. If I was being picky, the lighting in the room could have been better for getting ready in the evening to go out.

Staff-less check-in, strange cafe and bar opening times (closed for three days, early closing when open), some will like the mix of bookshop, cafe and hotel, I personally preferred it when it was just a very good hotel with fully operating restaurant and bar). It's still a very nice place to stay though, so will return!

Fantastic location and lovely locals! Loved walking through and browsing the bookshop. Easy parking in the road opposite (free) and everywhere was walkable. We loved Ramsgate!

The room was quite basic but perfectly functional. It had its own little outside space but I think this was adjacent to the garden that had lots of tables so possibly not very private (and noisy?) if the garden was in use.

Unmanned after 9.30pm, given code to open door if coming back later… arrived back at midnight and door code for automatic lock did not work. Emergency numbers given went to voicemail. No way in to property. Eventually one of the numbers answered but outside for 25 minutes wondering what we were going to do…. Quite stressful.

Lovely atmosphere and amazing staff. It’s a unique and very welcoming place. The hotel bar/reception is nestled between a book shop and deli. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a lovely courtyard out the back

All the staff was very friendly and attentive, I really liked the atmosphere. The room was cozy and comfortable.

I wish the breakfast was more generous and had some cooked food options. I wasn't left hungry, but I would've enjoyed to be offered scrambled eggs or something similar.

Located on the original Ramsgate high street surrounded by gorgeous properties, only a short stroll from the harbour , beaches and a promenade. A beautifully decorated guest house with lots of traditional features. A lovely bookshop and cafe/bar with a secret garden on the ground floor. Very warm and welcoming staff who also hosted music and reading events at the hotel.

The venue was closed as a pub/restaurant and there for I could not get an evening meal. This was not explained on booking.com website and I would not have booked this accommodation because of that, I’m not not happy with this venue because of this.., I would not have booked it if I would have known it was closed and no evening meal available and the attitude of staff was well it’s on our website! It’s not mentioned on booking.com and because of that I’m negative about my experience. I only booked this because I believed I would get an open accommodation with food in the evening. Otherwise not worth the cost which is not cheap!!

The location was spot on. Addington st is a great area with a grrat view overlooking the pier The hotel is cute, feels very cosy, homely. The house has lots of character and the team was super lovely. It s very easy to get into town. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.

was a bit disgruntled to have to pay a parking charge when I arrived. The listing is ambiguous and I don't know why they don't make it clearer when you book. It was £7 for the first night and £3.50 a night after. Also, the car park is difficult to find first time, could use better pre-stay info basically. Also, when I checked in, the heating was off in my room, given the fact it is single glazed it's a good job I was straight out for dinner as it would have been pretty chilly.

My room was clean, nicely decorated and well thought-out with everything you could need (there were also refills of coffee, tea, shampoo etc. downstairs if you ran out of anything.) There's also a gorgeous communal sitting room. The included breakfast was a good selection of cereals, fruit, toast with butter and jam, croissant and a couple of meats. You could also pre-order a cooked breakfast at extra charge if you wanted. All the staff I met were really friendly and the waitress at breakfast remembered I needed oat milk without me having to ask, which was nice. It's on a quiet street with a few unusual shops, a couple of other bars and a corner shop directly opposite if you need any snacks. Just a couple of minutes walk to the seafront and a little further to the town centre.

The pub itself is only open Fri-Sun, so wasn't actually open during my stay, which was a shame as it would have been nice to have had a meal or a drink there, but on the plus side it was very quiet. It also meant there were no staff there in the evening, but emergency contact numbers were given, so I'm sure if any problem had arisen it would have been easily sorted.

The bathroom was lovely! The room was nice, but it was difficult to regulate the temperature. The staff were GREAT! Everyone was so kind and helpful.

The breakfast was decent. It would have been better if there were some additional options like oats and eggs.

The building itself was very ornate, warm and inviting. All the staff we met were very kind and welcoming. The room was very light and clean, we were in room 2. The bed was nice and comfortable, excellent temperature from the shower - nice and hot!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, but the only thing I had trouble with was understanding how to get in and out of the hotel when we checked in - it would have be helpful to mention in the comms that you enter the pin code on a touchscreen that you have to activate by placing your hand over it first.

Short walk to town, harbour and beach. Very clean, bright spacious room and comfy bed. Slept very well. Tea and coffee making facilities in room was nice, with biscuits and bottled water provided too. Friendly staff.

The room, whilst basically furnished was clean and comfortable. The standard of the shower room was much higher than expected. For the price I paid, this quirky little stayover was a real bargain.

It was a little cold at night but not really surprising as it was January when I stayed. There is no parking but I managed to unload outside and then park just one street away.

The Waterloo room offers such a nice place to relax and I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for a fabulous overnight stay.

I would have like some extra cushions - but really, as it was just me, this wasn’t an issue as I had two pillows ! It would be nice to see refillable toiletries. But these are tiny things.

The location is perfect and the bar area is a really nice environment to have breakfast in. The staff were all lovely and really helpful. We were put in the dog friendly room with a door to the garden, which was great for our husky. The bed was very comfy and we liked the ease of keyless entry.

We actually moved the bed 90 degrees so we could see the TV so layout in the room could be better! Extra toiletries, towels and water were brought to the room during our stay (we were there for five nights) but the used cups etc weren't taken away which I thought was odd!
