The Kings Head Hotel

As the bar was "shut for inspection" there was no food or drink available. Not being able to have breakfast was not good.

The television didn't work. One of the curtains had been partially pulled down so it was not possible to exclude external night. Either night time street lights or morning daylight.

What a fun old building. All of the staff was lovely, and we could easily get to all over London. The pub in the building was also amazing. We are dreaming of coming back!

The rooms are modern and well furnished. We were going to Wembley and it is only. Bia ride away so perfect alternative to spending hundred on the hotels close by. The rooms had lovely clean bathrooms and bedrooms so don’t judge a book by its cover.

My room was very small with a window looking onto a brick wall so made it very dark. The bathroom was adequate but the bedroom disappointing. The pillow under the pillowcase was very stained as was the base of the bed. The net curtain was filthy and ripped. There were chips and scuffs to the base of the bathroom door. It all seemed rather tired.

Nos gusto mucho la ubicación, rodeado de supermercados, tiendas y cerca del metro ,el personal muy amable, habitación todos los días limpio, poco ruido y un detalle muy bueno el del café todos los días.

Un poco de pena que no ,nos haya funcionado la nevera y eso que nos la cambiaron por otra , de todos modo el personal muy amable.

Absolutely awful hotel. I got bed bugs from staying there and now I’m dealing with bites all over my body and having to disinfect my entire apartment. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately that’s the only positive thing I can say. The hotel was extremely dirty. There were even confetti and other dirt left in my room, and the bathroom was disgusting. The area was also terrible, with drunk people everywhere and people shouting outside until very late at night/early in the morning, making it very difficult to sleep. I chose this hotel because I was looking for something reasonably priced, but it still cost around €100, and I deeply regret staying there. What was supposed to be a way to save some money has turned into a nightmare, as I now have to deal with a possible bed bug infestation at home and bites all over my body. Horrible experience. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

Lovely and would recommend

We stayed here whilst visiting for a concert at Wembley. Staff were really helpful when asking questions. Location was good for reaching the venue. Lots of shops around and our room was really nice. We arrived back from the concert with a fan in the room & we hadn’t even asked, a really thoughtful touch especially in 30+ degree heat.

I have stayed couple of weeks ago in this place for about 4/5 nights and I highly recommended. The Stuff were very kind. Very clean and the location is excellent.

nice big room, had no windows as was at bottom however there was an air con unit which kept the room nice and cold all the time. stayed for a concert at wembley and easy to use the tube to get there and back

La habitación era amplia, limpia, tenia cerca transporte publico y tiendas.

El aire estaba puesto todo el rato a temperatura muy baja, no conseguimos quitarlo y por lo tanto pasamos algo de frio y el lavamanos estaba atascado. En cuanto al personal, solo el primer dia nos atendió una recepcionista muy borde, pero los demás fueron amables.

Location and size of room was good!

The air condition is always on cold, it would not turn off and we were freezing in the middle of summer. Also the bathroom had a red light on the mirror in the wall in front of the bath tub which was weird, reminded of a hidden camera..

I liked that there was a grocery store close to the hotel

I didn't like that there was mold in the ceiling in the bathroom, and that the bathroom door didn't close properly and couldn't be locked, there was a crack in the door frame, the lights were always flickering in the bathroom, there was something in the shower like a mirror but sometimes when I took a shower a red light would turn on in this mirror I don't know what this is supposed to be whether it was some kind of screen or something worse. I paid for a double bed but got two small beds put together I didn't think it was good either, the safe was locked and there for unusable

Staff weren't helpful, no breakfast, bar not open on a Saturday weren't told we had to pay deposit prior booking not close to Wembley to walk over 2 hours to walk 45 min driving, air con constantly on cold despite being turn down or off.

La Clim était en route lors de notre arrivé, après une journée à marcher dans Londres sous 37 degrés, c'était parfait Le personnel est très agréable et le bar est un plus après une longue journée !

Location perfect, great value and accomodation

The air conditioning was fantastic. Beds were very comfy and the bathroom had a lovely shower. It was secure and we felt very safe, it looked like it had been redecorated and modernised which was lovely. It was quiet with no rowdy neighbours and it had an easy 10 minute walk to the train station and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel and close to the station. A pizza shop over the road from the hotel was still open at 1am perfect for a late night snack.

When we arrived our room wasn’t ready although we were checked in and given our room key and sent up when they knew our room wasn’t ready. We were made to wait 20 minutes till it was clean and when we asked if there was a room that was ready we were told it was fully booked. With such big concerts and events happening in London it’s understandable they would be fully booked but they could change their check in time to give them a bit of a grace period so all rooms can be cleaned before guests arrive especially as we only saw 2 cleaning ladies doing around 24 rooms by themselves between 11am and 2pm.

Staff friendly, security to get into the building and the lift was directly opposite the desk so staff could see exactly who is entering to the cooridoor with rooms. Clean room and quiet. Bigger bathroom then expected, lighting was amazing with diffrent styles. Good location.

Nice location. Lovely room. Air-conditioning was fantastic.

The bathroom sink did not drain very well. Some of the fixtures need a little bit of attention but no big deal.

The shower ran cold. The basement room was on its own and as females felt a little scary. The staff cleaning store was next to our room and the staff were talking loudly outside our room at 6.30 am. Room in need of some maintenance/updating.

L’emplacement était idéal : tout était à proximité transports, restaurants, supermarchés, etc. De ce point de vue, rien à signaler.

Le lit n’était pas du tout confortable. Je me réveillais avec des courbatures tous les jours, alors que j’y ai passé quatre nuits. De plus, ma chambre était fermée, si bien que je n’avais même pas d’air pour respirer. Lors de ma première nuit, le lendemain, j’ai fait la grasse matinée, donc il n’y a pas eu de ménage dans ma chambre. Il faisait tellement chaud dans la chambre qu’après chaque douche, j’avais l’impression d’étouffer. Le troisième jour, la femme de ménage est passée. À mon retour, j’ai découvert qu’il y avait la climatisation , quel bonheur après avoir passé deux nuits sans aération ! Cependant, il faisait aussi très froid. J’ai essayé d’ajuster la température dans la chambre, mais je n’y suis pas parvenu. Comme il ne me restait qu’une nuit, je n’ai pas insisté.
