Great location, friendly stuff and amazing onsen experience.

Chambre avec vue sur le mont fuji - la chambre est spacieuse, avec un bain sur la terrasse extérieure. Accès illimité aux bains privés (5 bains) Quelques boissons en libre accès Le repas était assez bon mais ne justifie pas forcément son prix Présence d'une navette pour amener de la gare à l'hôtel l'après midi et de l'hôtel à la gare le matin.

Le mont fuji n'a pas voulu vraiment se montrer manque de chance. L'hôtel est un peu en hauteur et excentré, donc loin de zones d'intérêts. La navette l'après midi n'est disponible que toutes les heures, il ne faut pas la rater au risque de rester 1h de plus avec les bagages.

La situation par rapport aux activités et surtout la vue exceptionnelle sur le Mont Fuji. Le spa sur la terrasse est également un plus, ainsi que toutes les petites attentions (café en libre service, apéritif offert...). Tout était parfait.

The view, the spa ... It's unbeatable. Would come back. In fact, will come back. Dinner was also great, with extremely detailed and attentive waiters. Recommended 100%. If you can spare the money, pick a Fuji view. We were lucky and it showed up from behind the clouds for an incredible spectacle.

I absolutely would not recommend staying here, especially considering how expensive this hotel is. I specifically paid extra for a “mountain view” room because the photos on Booking showed a beautiful, open and unobstructed view of the mountain from the terrace and BATHTUB. I even asked before and they confirmed. Instead, I was given a room on the 3rd floor, which was clearly one of the worst rooms in this category. Although the mountain was technically visible when standing outside, the actual view from the bathtub was completely blocked by short shrubs and the roof below. Mt Fuji was visible but I couldn’t get to enjoy. When sitting in the bath, I could only see the the plants directly in front of me. This was completely different from the experience shown in the Booking photos and from what they told me I was paying for. When I questioned the room allocation at check-in, I was told that the hotel was fully booked and that my options were either to downgrade to an economy room or pay even more to upgrade. I had already paid a significant amount specifically for a mountain-view room, so being told to either accept an inferior experience or spend even more money was frankly ridiculous. To make matters worse, there was a constant loud mechanical/generator-like humming noise outside my room. It sounded like continuous white noise and was clearly audible not only on the terrace but even inside the room with the terrace door closed. I came here expecting a peaceful and relaxing stay, yet the room itself was so noisy that it became irritating rather than relaxing. At check-out, I even played a recording of the noise to the front desk staff, and they acknowledged that it was unpleasant. This made the situation even more frustrating, because if the hotel is aware that this particular room has such a serious noise issue, I do not understand why it is being sold at the same price and under the same “mountain view” category as much better rooms.

Le repas à la carte est vraiment pas adapté,comme s'ils prenaient une petite partie du plat principal (qui est dans le menu de 6 service)et appelé "plat principal ". Donc c'est tout petit et très cher pour une qualité médiocre. L'hôtel a vraiment besoin d'un rafraîchissement, c'est pas très propre, ni beau, surtout pour le prix.

Our room has a view of Mt Fuji and has a balcony. It was perfect. the hotel also has several private onsen rooms which give privacy for guests. It provides afternoon drinks and snacks while enjoying the view from the lobby. The hotel also has shuttle service to town which is very nice.

The location is further away from town, in a very quiet area so there is not much in the area. But it comes with a full view of Mt Fuji.

The incredible views of Mt. Fuji from the lounge and room (floor 7) and the amazing onsen bath facilities (including steam room and sauna) were the highlights! Also, really appreciated the shuttle service from the train station to the hotel.

This hotel has thought of everything. Every last amenity to make your stay healthy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The baths were beautiful! We loved the free wine service with views of Mt Fuji.

La rigidité, il nous avait été impossible de changer du menu (pre-réservé) pour un menu à la Carte dans le même restaurant . Dommage ce manque de flexibilité! Le plus grave étant le manque d’adaptation dans le menu proposé car il y avait un ingrédient que nous ne pouvions pas manger. À la place, nous avions 0 option. Menu cher aussi pour le rapport qualité/prix. Enfin, le verre de bienvenue nous avait été refusé car le bar était déjà fermé 19:12 vs 19h00.

We booked a 4 bedrooms with mount Fuji view. Everything was perfect. We had enjoyed the stay so much that we dont feel like leaving. The staffs were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We will come back again for sure!

Beautiful location with a stunning view of Mt Fuji which was not covered by cloud for some of the time during our stay. Private onsens easy to use and available. Used shuttle service to get to station for arrival and return but also to access sightseeing around the area. Tourist information at the station very helpful.

The style of the hotel is a little dated but the view is spectacular.

It is a nice property with a beautiful onsen and staff was nice. It is far away from town though ($20.00 taxi ride) and doesn’t have a restaurant or bar where you can order basic food/ drinks. They offer a set dinner but it needs to be ordered ahead. It felt more like a dated Italian villa - again nice with decent amenities - just didn’t feel authentic to Japan or like a luxury hotel.

J'avais mal paramétré les petits déjeuners (pour 2 au lieu de 3) mais avait pris une chambre triple ( pour 3 donc) eh bien ils m'ont facturé le prix fort 200euros supplémentaires alors que c'est déjà très cher! Aucun geste commercial! Le personnel est incompétent aucune communication entre les équipes qui découvraient tous les jours que nous étions 3 au lieu de 2 L'hôtel est vieillot ( devait être luxueux dans les années 90) et nécessiterait d'être refait complètement Les petits déjeuners sont très décevants très peu de choix pour les boissons chaudes et en petites quantités bref si vous etes un gros mangeur passez votre chemin Quoi qu'il en soit cela ne mérite ABSOLUMENT pas le prix que j'ai payé

Beautiful location, lovely views you can see Mount Fuji at dinner time. The room was very nice and the onsen was a lovely experience. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. Definitely worth it. The staff was very helpful at the front desk and gave me good advice about the best way to get to the next city.

Favourite hotel on our month long Japan trip. Paid extra for the Fuji view with hot top and so worth it! The hotel Onsen was beautiful as was the breakfast and teppanyaki dinner. Great access to the lake, would recommend hiring a bike and spend a day riding around it.

Der Transfer zum Bahnhof ist gut organisiert. Wenn sich der Fuji zeigt, sind die Zimmer mit Fuji-Blick grandios, die Balkone sind ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Wir hatten trotz anfänglicher Bewölkung großes Glück. Man kann vom Hotel aus auch schöne Spaziergänge am See unternehmen.

Es ist natürlich sehr voll, und etwas absurd, wenn ich als Tourist über zu viele Touristen klage. Aber überlaufen ist der Fuji, das ist nicht zu bestreiten. Das Hotel-Personal tut sein Allerbestes und organisiert auch alles sehr gut, aber nicht alle Touristen sind so wohlerzogen wie Japaner.

We liked the view from our room, the lovely deep bath in our bathroom, the large, spacious bedroom suite we had and the evening drink and snack event offered each evening. The breakfast was very good too.

Be aware that if you walk up to the hotel from the village it's quite a steep slope.

A bit far from lake

La Vista Resort was an emergency booking after we had checked in at Hotel Koryu an hour earlier. While Koryu was a complete disappointment, La Vista proved a superb choice. Overlooking - actually looking straight at Mount Fuji you feel set in a Tuscany Winery or French Chateau. The room was humongous with an ensuite bathroom and a tub - again presenting the full beauty of Mount Fuji. Staff was super friendly, food was just way out excellent - I would definitely come again!

La struttura è situata sul lago, e la vista dalle camere è meravigliosa. Offrono tantissimi servizi inclusi nel prezzo, dallo shuttle bus per la stazione, all’aperitivo, al ramen nella tarda sera come spuntino. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dai hot bath privati, stanze a tema servite di tutto per rilassarsi. È stato un soggiorno che non dimenticheremo. The view from the room is as good as it gets. When you travel to the Mount Fuji area, you want to see the beautiful mountain as much as possible. La Vista is the premier place for comfort, pampering, and mountain views.

More access to the hotel restaurant would have been nice.

No real food options, restaurant was reservation only, needing to leave my room key with the front desk, offering products (i.e. skincare) in the room but not selling them in the lobby, did not love the logistics of getting to this hotel.

We stayed for 2-nights in a Triple Room with Mt. Fuji View with dinner and breakfast included. We liked that my son's sleeping space was separated from our sleeping/living space. We were very lucky with our view. Being able to draw the curtains to an epic Mt. Fuji view over the lake was really special. +View +Bathtub +Room layout (note: couples in separated single beds) +Wearing the lounge wear provided around the hotel +Inclusion of breakfast & dinner +Hotel shuttle to and from Fujikawaguchiko (note: pre-booking required)

Based on the reviews, I was expecting the hotel to be more toddler-friendly and accommodating for families with young kids. Perhaps compared to other hotels, they might have been however on reflection we would have enjoyed the experience more with a pre-teen/teen rather than a toddler given the hotel and meal set-up. We're no beef family for religious reasons and whilst the adult menu gave a non-beef option, the kids meal was pre-plated with beef and the hotel refused to make up a plate with just non-beef items only (i.e. minus two beef items). They basically said our dinner reservation would be cancelled if we didn't accept the plate as it was. I can see it from their side that in Japan the custom is to accommodate dietaries for the 6-8 nationally recognised allergens which is great! It just didn't work so well for us with a kids meal and something to bear in mind if you have a similar requirement.

Das La Vista ist ein wirklich wunderschönes Hotel, das sehr gepflegt ist und eine tolle Atmosphäre bietet. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns das unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das auch sehr gut Englisch spricht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und sehr vielseitig. Man konnte sowohl traditionell japanisch als auch westlich frühstücken, wodurch wirklich für jeden etwas dabei war. Zum Mittag- und Abendessen können wir zwar nichts sagen, da wir bewusst auswärts in der Stadt essen waren, um die lokale Gastronomie zu entdecken. Über die Rezeption konnten jederzeit unkompliziert Taxis bestellt werden, wodurch man schnell und bequem überall hingekommen ist. Das absolute Highlight des Hotels ist jedoch die Aussicht. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Balkon und direktem Blick auf den Mount Fuji. Wir hatten großes Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten den gesamten Berg mit seiner schneebedeckten Spitze ohne eine einzige Wolke sehen – ein wirklich spektakulärer und unvergesslicher Anblick. Allein für diese Aussicht ist das Hotel eine wirkliche Empfehlung. Alles in allem können wir das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen. Auch die Umgebung und die Stadt selbst bieten unglaublich viele schöne Fotospots – besonders natürlich mit Blick auf den Fuji. Ein wirklich besonderer Ort für einen Japanurlaub.
