Kawaguchiko Country Cottage Ban

Beautiful location and facilities- staff were friendly and accomodating. Cannot recommend highly enough. Must stay more than one night!!!!

We stayed in a one bedroom studio with a kitchen, balcony & outside sauna. The balcony had a direct view to My Fuji which was amazing, we were even fortunate to actually see the “shy” mountain. The room was huge, fully equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. So much space after being in Hapan for 3 weeks before visiting. The location is a bit of a drive to the main town but the hotel offers a shuttle bus and taxis were easy enough to get.

My only complaint was for the money I would have liked the room to be serviced each day (ie empty bins, change towels make beds etc)

A beautiful spot to explore Mt. Fuji. If you are in luck, you have a direct view. The cottages and the whole area is very beautiful with BBQ places for each cottage, nice facilties and a very quiet atmosphere. If you have a car, it is easy to get around. Without a car it might be a bit more difficult to get around. Although: you can rent a bike. All in all, we loved our stay.

Room W4 - The view from the balcony is stunning!!! The view of the mountain is like a postcard. Kitchen was well equipped .

The cottage smells like insects spray when we entered The beds weren’t comfortable at all - we didn’t sleep well. The room was old and not renovated Acsses to the room with luggage is challenging - lots of stairs of off road experience Vegetarian breakfast was poor- bread, butter, jam, boiled eggs, vegetables soup juice and black coffee. Other guests that stayed in the new western rooms said that they had a better experience

Good capacity of the cottage. We were a family of 5 and there was enough room. 2 toilets were great! Cottage in the nature . You can do BBQ by yourself if you rent a BBQ set. Plain breakfast.

Many many many!!! Spiders and spider webs! In the kitchen, in the bathroom, toilet. Above our bed! This cottage is not! For people who are afraid of spiders or bugs, mosquitoes 🦟 . There are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for all the guests and it costs 1500 yen per 1. We were with a stroller for our toddler and they gave us the cottage with many stairs.

The cottages were very cute and we had a direct view of mount fuji from our bedroom. It was spacious and clean. You could even rent bikes and do laundry. The beds were quite comfy.

The bbq-kit with coal and a fire starter felt a bit expensive for what it was.

今回の部屋は玄関までのストロークが長すぎ。雨でしたので関係なかったが名物の富士山は見えにくい立地。

Liked the kind staff. The view was amazing and the bbq also.

Location and facilities

The breakfast was very bad, and they assume I have booked a BBQ dinner for 5 when I was just asking for information. Then they did not responded to my questions for two days and when they responded they told me that there was a cancellation fee that I need to pay for.

Location and view of Mount Fuji from cottages was good- with easy parking onsite. Interior spacious and comfortable- for western visitors the large dining table and chairs was much appreciated.

All facilities within the complex required extra fees eg bikes, bbq, sauna, etc. Guess this is due to popularity of location. Kitchen could have been a little more equipped but other than that- the cottages are great for a short stay.

とても綺麗で清潔感がある。そしてオシャレな内装や食器類。各コテージにBBQハウスがあるのも良い。施設の周りに電気柵があり、熊出没を恐れていたが、外でBBQをやるのも安心できた。スタッフもとても良い感じ。それなのに手頃な価格で驚き。これくらいの価格なら度々訪れたいと思った。晴れれば富士山もよく見えて最高の気分。

Een geweldige cottage met sauna. Heerlijk om te relaxen. We hebben er genoten en hadden er meer dagen moeten verblijven. Behulpzaam personeel en een schitterende locatie met zicht op Mount Fuji.

Helaas was er wat minder schoon gemaakt. Er was veel met de spuitbus gespoten..dit Versteeg de muffe geur maar veel spinnenwebben waren vergeten. Dit hebben we zelf maar snel opgelost.

Luogo meraviglioso da cui si può godere di una vista senza eguali del monte Fuji. La struttura è probabilmente stata rinnovata da poco, la camera che ci è stata assegnata era grandissima, pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort, e si respirava davvero un'atmosfera magica. Il personale della struttura è estremamente gentile e disponibile.

Beautiful place to stay while visiting Kawaguchiko lake. Great cottages with private sauna and outdoor hot bath on the deck of your cottage. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Different observation points to see Mount Fuji Real highlight of the place the outdoor hot bath !!

Déçu de l'emplacement, nous pensions loué un chalet un peu isolé or nous avons découvert un complexe hôtelier de plusieurs chalets et bungalow. Déçu du petit déjeuner à la réception on nous a demandé combien de café et c'est tous . Notre surprise lendemain matin en découvrant café et jus d'orange . Rien pour les ados ni chocolat chaud ni céréales. Mais un plat chaud salé des oeufs dur et des petits pains avec confiture . Vu le prix c'est décevant .

母の還暦祝いで利用しました。 大人8名、乳幼児3名、合計11名で利用させていただきました。 料金は赤ちゃんを除く10名分。 とても快適な空間をお得に泊まることが出来たと感じました。 BBQは食材を持ち込みましたが、炭火で焼くとなんでも美味しくいただけました！！空気も良し、ロケーションも良しで、みんなそれぞれがゆったり出来たと思います。

残念だった点はお風呂とシャワー室の2つがありましたが、シャワー室は水しか出なかったことです。 人数が多かったのでお風呂待ちが出来たことがとても残念に思いました。

レセプションからの眺めが良く、そこで出迎えてくださったスタッフの対応が素晴らしかったです。 部屋もきれいで、調理道具一式、必要なものが揃っていて、言う事なしです。

使ったタオルを干しておく、コンパクトな物干しなどが部屋にあると良かったと思いました。

View and location are great. The room is very comfortable, very nice and well equiped. The view from the room on Fuji is exiting.

The only problem I found is a a cold-water only in the sink, and only one mirror in the room - in the bathroom.

El wifi de nuestra cabaña no funcionaba. Como no había conexión, no podíamos hacer uso de Netflix. Pedimos unas pizzas 4 quesos para cenar y, además de llegar 1 hora tarde, la pizza estaba malísima, no tenia prácticamente queso y estaba poco hecha. Todos los servicios del hotel son de pago, no hay nada incluido. La cabaña estaba completamente llena de arañas. La linterna de la entrada estaba rota. Experimentamos un terremoto a las 2 de la madrugada y, al llamar a recepción para solicitar indicaciones, no había personal que hablara inglés. La ubicación es bonita pero difícil de acceder a ciertas horas.

The view is perfect and the villa is so good.

Breakfast was a joke. No coffee, no tea, nothing, and 1/2 apple for 3 people and 1/2 orange…. Totally disappointed.

We felt like we lucked out massively, not only was the accommodation (3e superior cottage) stunning we were treated to some amazing early morning views of Fuji, which was breathtaking. We loved the open air bath and have already recommended to friends! We also booked the breakfast which was tasty and had a bbq on the evening

Unfortunately, as the building was shared with other guests, which we had not expected, there was some noise. But nothing unreasonable.

The view, the barbecue, the cottage

The cottage is not serviced (housekeeping) on daily basis. Although I have asked the reception staff, I was misinformed and came back to the cottage in the evening to see it as it was left in the morning. Garbage was still inside, towels were all in the bathtub. The norm is the traveller comes back to a serviced accommodation in the evening. It seems that some hotels are taking the liberty not to do any housekeeping to save money under the pretext of privacy, sustainability and so on. The worst example in my experience was Philadelphia Hilton at the landing. I suggest that booking.com ask each property to state clearly whether they do daily housekeeping or not.

Très beau logement, photos conformes. Très belle vue depuis la terrasse, literie confortable, logement propre et navette gratuite pour nous amener de la gare à l'hôtel. Possibilité de faire un barbecue avec une viande d'excellente qualité avec la vue sur le Mont FUJI depuis notre terrasse. De plus, le sauna privatif sur la terrasse avec une bassine pour alterner était génial.

Même s'il y avait un QR code, ça serait pratique de fournir un livret avec les notices pour l'électroménager

The little bungalows are really nice and beautiful.

The cafe was really bad, it’s either you buy a steak at more than 100 usd or frozen chicken at 50usd that you have to cook yourself. Or they offer some disgusting overpriced ready meals, 7 eleven type. No coffee in the room or for sale anywhere, no complementary water in the room. You can’t even buy an orange juice or some biscuits. They offer a bbq but unless you spend more than 100usd in meat you can’t use it.

L’accueil n’était pas du tout agréable ,nous avions un monsieur qui débitait son lot de paroles sans vraiment avoir d’intérêt pour ses clients Vendu avec vue montagne ,plutôt vue arbres .nous l’avions réservé pour voir le mont Fuji de notre lodge et pour l’anniversaire de notre fille .il a fallu descendre sur le parking le plus bas pour voir le lever de soleil sur le Mont Fuji.

アンケートにも書きましたが、洗面所で使えるようなハンドタオルやテーブル等を拭く布巾等、手を拭いたりする物がペーパータオルしかなく使い勝手が悪いのが残念。 また玄関が開けた際に扉を止めておくラッチ？みたいな物があって欲しかったです。荷物の出し入れが少し大変でした。

1. il n'y avait même pas une bouteille d'eau à disposition dans notre cottage, malgré une canicule très forte, pas de café, ni même un sachet de thé, rien, tout est payant à la réception, même pour accéder au bain collectif il faut payer 2. la deuxième chambre est installée sous le toit, avec à peine 60-70 cm de battement pour se glisser entre le lit et le plafond, impossible même de s'y asseoir, ce n'est pas ce qu'on appelle une vraie chambre, plutôt une capsule 3. notre cottage n'avait pas de vue directe sur le Mont Fuji, donc venir jusque là pour ne pas avoir la vue attendue est quand même stupéfiant. l'hôtel devrait être plus explicite sur ce point avant l'étape de finalisation d'une réservation : vue directe Mont Fuji OUI/NON

Die Lage war hervorragend, das Personal sehr freundlich und das kurzfristige Ausleihen der Fahrräder war unproblematisch. Die Ausstattung und die Räumlichkeiten ließen keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Da viele am Abend gegrillt haben, konnte man die Fenster nicht offen lassen.

とても静かでよかった。あと 展望風呂に入ろうとした時雨が降ってきてしまったがスタッフの方が傘を持ってきてくれてとても助かりました

展望風呂のシャワーが弱く残念なのと展望風呂との事だったので景色を期待したが木が邪魔で景色が見えないのを何か改善してくれたら良いかな

Magnifique lodge situé dans la nature, avec une vue imprenable sur le mont Fuji. Très confortable avec un équipement au top.

Overall, the cabin was very comfortable for a family of 5, and the view of Mt. Fuji was lovely. Access to the property was generally convenient, and the location is excellent for exploring the surrounding lakes and the Mt. Fuji area.

The room smelled like cooking from previous guests before we arrived, and the laundry fee was relatively high.

Traditional Japanese meals, high quality, special local experience. The Onsen is nice and clean, foot bath is a treat and so are the free welcome drinks twice a day. You can get coffee after the Japanese meal. Wearing Yukata during the stay is very fun. Large free parking lot across the bridge nearby.

One of my family members has food allergy. We notified the hotel in advance however the dining room team did not know about it and we had to remind them of the allergy every time and inquire about every dish.

Zeer authentiek en goed verzorgd ; opgediend in een ‘cocotte’ van Taub . Wagyu bbq was tiptop. Spijtig dat fie bbq geen uitzicht had op de valei zoals ons prachtig terras. But one can’t have it all 😂. Echt top en uitstekend verzorgd.

המיטות מאוד לא נוחות מזרן קפיצים רועש. לא היה חדר עם מיטה זוגית כל המיטות בודדות. למי שלא יפני המקלחת היתה פחות נוחה כי המזלף מתיז על הדלת.

De onsen was geweldig. Voor vrouwen en mannen een aparte onsen, erg mooi en heerlijk om te doen. Het hotel ligt perfect op t.o.v. kasteel Matsumoto. Grote parkeerplaats om de hoek van het hotel, helaas niet gratis voor hotelgasten.

Het ontbijt bij de naastgelegen lunchroom, dat wordt aangeboden vanuit het hotel was wat beperkt

La limpieza, la ubicación que aunque esta alejado hay un bus lanzadera muy comodo, la zona es bonita, pero lo mejor las vistas al monte fuji desde la habitación. El desayuno es suficiente y alcanza para todos, ademas te lo llevan a la cabaña

Clean, organise, well functioning and nice view

先週夫婦2人で来て、とても良かったので、今週は家族5人できました。今回のお部屋も富士山と河口湖が綺麗に見え最高でした。バーベキューは、好きな食材を持ち込みその他は全てレンタルなので、着替えだけ持っての旅行は私たちにとってのベストです。秋になったらまた来たいと思います。スタッフの方々もとても親切で、私達はこの施設が大好きです。

De locatie met het uitzicht op Mount Fuji. De BBQ die je kon regelen via de receptie. Het personeel was superaardig. Goeie handoeken en doucheartikelen.

De inrichting van de cottage. Wij hadden een lange tafel op kniehoogte en geen enkele stoel. Enkel kussens om op de grond te zitten. De foto’s op de website wekken de indruk dat het veel luxer is dan in werkelijkheid. En ook dat er een ‘normale’ tafel met stoelen is. De badkamers waren erg eenvoudig. Bij eentje was alleen koud water. Wij vonden de prijs erg hoog ten opzichte van wat we kregen qua cottage. Een keukendoek/vaatdoek was handig geweest.

友人家族と10人でミディアムコテージを借りました。 部屋は4部屋で、うちツインベッドが3部屋、和室が2部屋ありました。 リビングスペースも広く、ダイニングテーブルとローテーブルで10人が十分座れる広さでした。 冷蔵庫も大きく、電子レンジ、トースター、湯沸かしポット、食器など一通りそろっていて快適でした。 強いて言うなら、 コーヒーメーカーがあればもっとよかったです。

公式HPで「機材のセットからお片付けまで施設側で手配いたします」とあったので、火起こしまでしてくれるのかと勘違いしました。ただ網と炭が置いてあるだけ、火起こし、片付けはセルフでした。バーベキュー終了後の炭の処理だけはやって頂けます。書き方が悪いので、もうすこしわかるように書いて欲しいです。 レセプションでコーヒーの販売がありませんでした。販売して欲しいです。 テラスからの富士山は、木が入るのも風情はありますが、木がなかったらもう少し見晴らしが良かったのに…と思いました。 部屋にバスルームとは別に露天風呂がついていましたが、扉に「予約制」と書いてあったので戸惑いました。 露天風呂がついているコテージでも露天風呂は別料金とのことです。今回のプランには露天風呂料金も含まれていましたが、施設にあるのに利用は別料金というのは何だかなあ、と思いました。使おうが使うまいが、始めから込み込み料金にしておけばよいのに、と思います。 しかも露天といいながら屋根はあり、あまり露天感はありませんでした。
