Excellent restaurant at night with exceptional food quality. Comfortable beds and helpful staff.

Breakfast was basic cereals fruit and yoghurt with pastries you need to heat up. If you were the last to breakfast there may not be much to choose from. Cooked served breakfast only available at the weekend.

Bed is echt klein, kort en smal. Ontbijt was naar onze beleving erg beperkt qua keuze en zeker in verhouding tot de prijs. En het kan pas vanaf 9.00 uur wat wij behoorlijk laat vinden.

Loved the "local" vibe - especially loved that dogs were welcome while we were there, and absolutely loved our sweet little room.

Generally a great place to stay. Couldn't connect to WIFI but it wasn't that big a deal as I had plenty of data. The restaurant was great, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Having a drink in the garden was the perfect way to end a day of driving. Kemnay is the most picturesque little village.

Bennachie is a quaint homely lodge surrounded by a beautiful garden where you can walk and sit. There are covered areas if it is raining. Staff very friendly.. the rooms were lovely and comfortable with kettle tea and coffee. Lovely scottish Lodge. I recommend it.

Had our own private room with our own door to the car park. Room was fantastic , it was a small studio with everything we needed. Even had an iron. The food here was delicious, we ate a meal here in the evening. We could have had breakfast here but we needed to leave to go somewhere else. Staff were really lovely people. The pub was well used by lovely locals who we chatted with in the evening. Thank you Bennachie Lodge for an enjoyable stay, will definitely stay there again 😁

Loved the food! Ate 3 times in restaurant and the food was really good. On our last morning we had the cooked breakfast, really delicious! Room was ok, shower was great. Sheets were very good Location was excellent, we chose the hotel for location

Nel complesso la struttura è carina. Nella nostra camera però abbiamo trovato 2-3 cose da sistemare: finestra rotta/non apribile, rubinetto senza leva e spazio molto ridotto. Nessuna segnalazione in precedenza. Migliorando questi dettagli il giudizio sarebbe sicuramente più alto.

Staff were friendly, food was excellent, beds were comfortable.

There is no soundproofing between rooms. We got no sleep. The shower had black mould.

No breakfast was included in the room, so I picked something up in the local grocery store instead.

Food was the main negative; what was available seemed overpriced for what it was. Service upon arrival was a bit "meh" – a bit like I was inconveniencing them.

Stayed 2 years ago and still a great hotel with friendly staff, wonderful location and beer garden and excellent food

Das Essen, die freundlichen Mitarbeiter, die Betten waren genauso gut wie die sehr gut ausgestattete Kaffeebar.

Schimmel an der Decke über der Dusche, Ein Handtuch 70 x 100 cm statt zwei separater und notfalls kleinerer Handtücher. Fön - wir haben unseren genutzt. Zahnputzbecher oder Gläser gab es nicht. Zimmer war am ersten Tag durch eine andere Tür (unter uns am Eingang/Küche?) so laut und ließ die Wand/das Bett beben. Keine kleinste Wiedergutmachung für sogar nach Hinweis am Morgen am Nachmittag immer noch kalte Dusche oder auch nur eine Warnung. Und ein PC Bildschirm als Fernseher bei der Zimmergröße kann nur als Aufforderung verstanden werden während der WM an der Bar sich zu versammeln - und die machte so schon einen gut besuchten Eindruck. Da ist Luft nach oben

The room was a bit dated and very noisy. The heavy fire doors banged shut a lot. The room was above the pub so not quiet till after midnight and the room above you could hear every footstep No hairdryer in room as advertised

The room was baking hot so sept badly and the bed was really uncomfortable. The breakfast experience was weird. Was told on arrival that there was only continental breakfast available. Would have been good to know this in advance as probably would not have stayed there. I asked if there was gluten free available and staff didn't know but checked and yes GF break was available. No cereal though. I asked what time breakfast was from and the staff said come down any time, which sounded odd. I came down for breakfast at 7.30 to find no staff on duty but breakfast laid out. Instead of having staff around there were a series of instructions stuck to the wall advising what to do, how to work the coffee machine etc. I then made my own breakfast and sat in gloomy silence eating alone. No radio, no TV, no people talking, no atmosphere of any kind. It was a weird experience for a hotel and no ability to ask for more butter or jam or anything. To be honest I have had a better experience and a better breakfast staying at a Hostelling Scotland Youth Hostel. In hindsight I wish I had done that on this occasion. Overall there is a real lack of care and attention in this hotel. Its more like a pay for a bed and sort yourself out kind of place. I would suggest staying in a B&B rather than this place but maybe use it for dinner as the food was good.

Local to relatives we were visiting and we all had an excellent meal there in the evening catering for all ages. Clean and comfortable with welcoming staff.

The location was amazing. Close to the airport and lovely local areas. The studio was fantastic. It was really quiet and made for a lovely stay. The staff were the best, such lovely girls. The food was first class. Great parking facilities.

Traditional breakfast was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The attached beer garden looked lovely.

Very minor point, there was nowhere to hang towels after use.

The only small thing I didn't like was that hotel slayers couldn't sit in the main bar due to locals from a previous pub which closed down took the seats.

Lovely people and very cosy hotel. Not the biggest room or most comfortable bed, but still pretty comfortable. Maybe a few hooks to hang towels from and a few more plug socket’s would be helpful.. overall though, we had a great stay, 2 lovely breakfasts and we were well looked after and comfortable. Absolutely recommend!

We booked the room with the four poster bed..big room..comfy bed and a bath with shower. Loved the decor of the room. Clean and tidy no issues.

We happened to be there over the May holiday weekend (sunday/monday) and were looking forward to getting a cooked breakfast but were told they only did continental! Shocked considering its a hotel and there was nowhere else nearby for breakfast especially because of the holidays. You dont expect to be in a hotel in Scotland and they're only offering continental breakfast. We're not on the continent...🤣😂

Lots of character it has its own grounds. staff was very friendly and helpful. as we were travelling for a wedding, we appreciated availability of an ironand ironing board. Plenty of parking available. GF bread milk alternative available.

The walls between our room and next door must be quite thin as I could hear snoring from there and from my partner 😉😁 …a little hiccups in the breakfast service

A couple of maintainance issues in the bedroom, light above the basin didn't work and the bedroom windiow did not open 'awaiting repair', but overall a pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel in spacious surroundings in a quiet residential area. Attractive and comfortable, well appointed room with everything that we could need. The bathroom was also spacious with an efficient shower that didn't require a tutorial beforehand in order to be able to use it. The restaurant was very nice, and the menu was varied with many options to choose from, so much so that our choice was difficult. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

Only one very trivial , minor comment - and one common to most hotels, in our experience. The absence of a hook on the bathroom door.

Location was excellent for our needs. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Radiators in shower room and main bedroom did their job well.

Unfortunately this being a building of some years, the floorboards in room one are extremely noisy when walked on. The room above has the same problem leading to an early awakening at six am. The carpet and rug in room one need a good deep clean.

It was a very generously sized room, warm and with a beautiful view of the garden. The building dates from the 1750’s! Beautifully restored and maintained . Excellent parking and a very good restaurant.

Soundproofing was poor but the other guests were settled A hair dryer and a box of tissues would be a welcome addition.

Staff very friendly and evening meal superb.
