An excellent hotel with a beautiful design from the lobby to the rooms. The cleanliness as well from the lobby to the spa and pool (verifying the water and seeing it being filtered). The staff was great nice and helpful every time. The room has everything you need (good quality products from rituals, bathrobes, coffee and coffee machine, tv) and very spacious. The spa is wonderful big luminous and clean with hot and cold pools, steam and Turkish bath. The breakfast and dinner were varied and with fresh products and even diet options. The coffee and every beverage was also good quality. The taxi is very easy to find.

Ich war schon zum vierten Mal in diesem außergewöhnlich, schönen und komfortablen Hotel. Das Abendessen ist hervorragend, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal höflich und zuvorkommend! Ich hoffe sehr dass ich im kommenden Jahr wieder dort Gast sein darf!

The new hotel, rooms are confortable. The breakfast is exceptional. Dinner is also good. Nice swimming pool, poll bar and gastro bar. 5 minutes by walk to beach.

There is no option to book king bed. Room are equipped with coffee machine but hotel gives complimentary 3 coffee capsules only. More capsules to be requested via reception desk. It should be awailable as mini-bar items and daily replenish to avoid asking reception everytime when you want drink coffee in the room. Honestly, considering the room prices, the capsules should be available for free

The room and the view were fantastic. Breakfast (and dinner the few times we had on campus) was great. Great variety of options. The pool was clean and well maintained. Perfect if you wanted the sun without the sand and the crowds around the beach area.

It is hard to say, so I am just mentioning something that could have been a bit better - perhaps a small food menu at the roof bar would be great. The drinks and service was fantastic, but there were no food options.

Encore une fois, cet hôtel a pleinement répondu à nos attentes ! Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances et avons été merveilleusement bien accueillis du début à la fin. Nous tenons particulièrement à remercier le monsieur à la réception le seul qui parlait français. Malheureusement, nous ne nous souvenons plus de son prénom, mais nous tenions absolument à le mentionner : il a été extraordinaire, d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme remarquables. Un immense merci également à Baba au restaurant. Sa gentillesse, son authenticité, sa simplicité.Très bons moments de partage. Nous remercions également Miguel pour sa positivité chaque fois il nous accueillait avec son énergie incroyable. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et une seule certitude : nous reviendrons, c’est sûr ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour ces magnifiques vacances et à très bientôt !

Oben in der sky Bar darf man seinen Platz nicht mehr selbst aussuchen, die besten Plätze sind reserviert für Gäste die einen Zusatz zahlen… wir kommen seit 9 Jahren in dieses Hotel und durften nun nicht an unseren Lieblings Platz… zumal dort jeden Abend alles leer blieb ! Wir werden dieses Hotel aus diesem Grund nicht mehr buchen, sehr schade !!!

The Staff were amazing & The Spa was good. The View from the room was lovely.

We paid £340 for a night for a Junior Suit but were given a very small room which did not look like Suit. The furniture was a bit old looking for a 5* hotel. We did not have a sofa in the room as in the photos but a very small table. Food was not fresh at breakfast especially the fruits. The pool area had pigeons around..

J'ai beaucoup aimé cet hôtel : l'ensemble est très moderne, les chambres sont bien pensées avec tout le confort nécessaire. C'est très grand avec plusieurs piscines accessibles, et un bar au dernier étage avec des spectacles tous les soirs.

J'ai été un peu déçu de la partie spa : les enfants y sont autorisés, et certains parents les laissent jouer sans surveillance : ce qui rend la détente plus difficile.

Das Personal war insgesamt sehr mäßig motiviert und auch nur selten freundlich, manchmal sogar ausgesprochen unfreundlich. Beim Checkout gab es keine Frage, ob es uns gefallen hat. Wichtig war die Kreditkarte. 😏 Der Zimmerservice war sehr minimalistisch, nur keinen Handschlag zuviel. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr groß und es gelingt dem Management nicht, eine Wohlfühlathmosphäre herzustellen, ganz im Gegenteil, das Haus wird spürbar nicht gut geführt. Vielleicht funktioniert das Hotel in Zusammenhang mit einem Kongress, für einen schönen Urlaub ist es eher nicht geeignet. Die Entfernung zum Strand ist zwar nicht groß, aber man kann nicht mal eben ins Meer springen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, aber geschmacklich nicht gut und nicht individuell. Man kann also viel essen, was nicht schmeckt. 😊 Das Gym ist sehr klein und lieblos hingestellt - für ein so großes Hotel dürfte es gern mehr sein. Gleiches gilt für den Wellnessbereich.

Na izbe by mali byt každý deň doplnené kapsule na kávu,nakoľko si kupujete drahšiu izbu s kávovarom,platiť si za dalšie kapsule,nám prišlo absolútne nevhodné.

Das Buffet zum Frühstück und zum Abendessen ist abwechslungsreich und von sehr guter Qualität.

Der Service sowohl zum Frühstück, am Pool oder auch abends in der Bar ist leider sehr unaufmerksam. Man muss die Bedienungen immer direkt ansprechen und teilweise sogar hinterherlaufen um überhaupt gesehen oder bedient zu werden. Bei 4 Tage hatte ich zwei Tage kein Kaffeservice zum Frühstück.

Frukost- och middagsbuffén är det bästa med hotellet. Särskilt trevlig är "gala"-buffén (middag) på torsdagar! Lite lustigt att man inte tillåter shorts för män på middagen, men tillåter kvinnor att gå lättklädda i korta shorts och linne som ser ut som om de kom direkt från stranden. Jag tycker alla borde kunna ha shorts, bara man klär sig snyggt.

Vi hade ett rum på 1:a våningen, med utsikt över poolen. Men utsikten stördes av buskar och träd, så jag skulle inte vilja kalla det för utsikt över poolen. Blev besviken över detta och att man betalar lika mycket för detta rum som för rummen som ligger högre upp, med bättre utsikt. Vi har bott på detta hotell förut och haft rum högre upp med fin utsikt mot poolen. Vi har även bott i rummen som inte vetter mot poolen, utsikten där är också fin. Trädgården på baksidan är otroligt välskött! Det var svårt att hitta solstolar och parasoll om man inte var tidig (före 11.00) vid poolen.

Location was great. 20 minutes from the airport, 5 minute walk to the beach with a selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Room was modern, clean and comfy. Pool was great. Indoor pool, spa and gym were lovely. Good selection for breakfast.

Very well cared for and the cleanliness was great. The smell in the hotel was lovely and made it feel luxurious. Pool area was well cared for, occasionally we couldn’t get a sun lounger. Toiletries were of a high quality.

Location wasn’t great being close to the mega park. The music was loud at certain points in the day and there are lots of young people taking over the streets and cafes. It was difficult to walk along the prom or pavements close to the mega park without bumping into groups of drunk people.

¡Una estancia inolvidable en Hipotels Playa de Palma! Pasamos unos días maravillosos. El hotel es impecable y está cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle. El personal es sumamente atento a cualquier petición del cliente y tanto la cocina como el desayuno son sencillamente espectaculares. Queremos hacer un reconocimiento muy especial a la camarera Jessi por su gran profesionalidad y excelente trabajo. Fue una de las mejores; gracias a ella nos sentimos verdaderamente mimados tanto en el desayuno como en la cena. ¡Un gran abrazo desde Italia!

Le personnel de l'accueil et en salle restaurant est très accueillant et le service parfait. La piscine est très bien ainsi que le SPA même si ce dernier devrait être plutôt autorisé au plus de 16 ans, étant un lieu de calme. Le buffet est très bien, les chambres sont belles. L'hôtel est calme c'est agréable mais en contrepartie pas d'animation. Rooftop très sympa encore plus pour l'éclipse.

Des petits détails mais un petit déjeuner de 8h à 11h pas vraiment en lien avec les horaires des excursions et pour éviter la chaleur, un 7h ou 7h30 à 10h30 serait mieux. Ça manque un peu de chaleur humaine, les clients n'ont aucun échange avec d'autres, les activités non présentes créent aussi du lien. Les excursions non testées par l'hôtel, un 5* doit proposer des excursions de qualité et ce n'était pas le cas.

Le fait qu’il n y ai pas de pension complète, le tarif des boissons étaient différent selon la terrasse choisie nous trouvons cela inadmissible ! Et le comble short interdit pour les hommes au restaurant ! Ouf mon mari avait pris un pantalon ! Mais on a pas eu l impression d être en vacances et pourtant nous avons fait beaucoup d hôtel 5 étoiles ! La literie était dure et les oreillers idem dommage … à oui et j’ai oublier même le soir au restaurant l eau était payante ! Du jamais vu non plus ! On a eu la sensation que tout était business car même certains transat était payant ! Et l hôtel est classé sur boooking front de mer c’est faux il faut marcher plus de 5 min à pied

Hotel splendide. Tout est fait pour que vous passez des super vacances. Il mérite ses 5 étoiles vraiment. Le personnel est vraiment top et au petit soin. Les 3 piscines sont tres grandes et tres propre. Le spa est juste exceptionnel. La propreté des lieu est incroyable. La nourriture est tres tres bonne. L'emplacement est nikel. En bref on peut pas vraiment lui reprocher grand chose.

Staff at the restaurant is rude. Calling every woman „mommy“ is not what you expect in a five star hotel. Guests are mainly lower class Germans with no respect for other people, guaranteed to ruin any five star expectation you might have.

The hotel is excellent, with a great location and exceptionally delicious food. I have been coming here for five years now and can definitely recommend it.

During periods of very hot weather, it would be a nice gesture from the hotel to provide at least one bottle of water per day in each room. This would not represent a significant additional cost and could easily be incorporated into the room rate. Few years ago the hotel replaced the Bali beds with newer ones, but unfortunately they do not provide sufficient protection from the sun. As a result, guests are forced to look for and purchase their own covers or fabrics to provide shade. Since the Bali bed rental is not inexpensive, it would be a nice touch for a five-star hotel to provide matching covers for all the beds. This would not only be more convenient for guests but would also contribute to the overall aesthetics of the hotel.

O hotel é excecional. Tem muito boas condições em tudo, quarto, piscinas, limpeza, etc. Devo destacar a qualidade da comida que é fabulosa. Já viajei para muitos sítios e fiquei em muitos hotéis e até resorts de 5 estrelas mas este foi sem duvida nenhuma o hotel com a melhor comida que encontrei.

O único ponto menos bom eram os socorristas da piscina que eram um pouco arrogantes e até mal educados a falar para as pessoas no geral. Não se passou nada comigo mas vi algumas coisas com outros hospedes que não em agradaram.

Am Babybecken haben wir oft keinen Platz mehr gefunden, da die Gäste (trotz des Verbots!) Liegen reservierten. Familien mit Kindern mussten weit weg vom Babybecken Platz suchen.

Die Lage ist toll. Parkhaus 10€ am Tag. Das Abendessen war wie immer sensationell. Die Cocktails sind erstklassig und kosten im Schnitt 8€ unten an der Bar und oben Rooftop 15€. Man kann 3 grosse Pools aussen nirzen und 1 Innenpool mit Sauna. Ich liebe dieses Hotel!!!

A reggeli kimondottan bőséges és finom volt. A szoba mérete és kialakítása is remek volt.

A szobában a sötétítő függöny rövidebb volt mint az ablak, így nem lehetett rendesen sötétet csinálni. A szállodára a 2 lift nagyon kevés, a forgalmasabb időszakokban volt hogy perceket kellett várni a liftre.

Terrible hotel, obnoxious staff, extremely rude front of house staff - George especially, took money from our account after we left hotel, disgraceful manner from staff, towel man’s behaviour is appalling, AVOID AT ALL COSTS !! RIP you off for money once you leave and talk to you rudely also.

We had an incredible 7-day half-board stay at the Hipotels Playa de Palma Palace & Spa and cannot praise it enough. A major tip for future guests: request rooms 102 to 106! We were in 103, and this specific section has a private entrance off the reception area. With only five rooms in that corridor, it is extremely quiet. Our balcony perfectly overlooked the pool, meaning we enjoyed beautiful sunshine from midday to evening—it was so relaxing to sit out and listen to the music drifting over from the Gran Hotel. The atmosphere was fantastic. I had read reviews complaining about the hotel having a lot of German guests, but as an Irish person, I found this to be a huge positive. It was a relief not to overhear loud, overbearing English conversations; the German guests were incredibly respectful and polite (even if they lack the Irish sense of humor!). The food was consistently of the highest quality, with a different cultural theme every evening. The restaurant staff were always in great form, and the table staff were super attentive, clearing plates efficiently without ever making us feel rushed or guilty for indulging! The facilities are just as impressive. The spa is brilliant, and the outdoor pool is wonderfully warm, feeling like a treated saltwater pool rather than being heavily chlorinated. I also have to commend the pool staff for managing the sun loungers. They check the area before opening, and if anyone leaves a towel unattended for hours, the attendant will actively remove their belongings if you bring it to her attention. The evening entertainment in the top lounge area was fantastic. A memory that will stay with us forever was watching the total solar eclipse from this top area—the hotel made it an incredibly special event. Lastly, getting around is a breeze. The Bus 25 stop at Mega Park is cheap, easy to use, and goes directly to the aquarium and Palma. If you need a taxi, always ask reception to call one; they arrive within a minute (I tried a local app and waited half an hour). An absolute sanctuary of a hotel; do not hesitate to book!

No fault of hotel but The Local Beach: The only negative was the public beach in Playa de Palma. It was filthy and felt hazardous (full of cigarette butts and I even saw a decomposed seagull). It is not the hotel's or the council's fault, but it shows a real lack of respect from some beachgoers and highlights the over-tourism issue.

Mir sind einfach fast alle Hotelbetten viel zu hart, aber man hat mir einen wunderbaren Topper auf mein Bett gelegt und ich bekam auch noch ein sehr weiches Spezialkissen, ab der zweiten Nacht habe ich ausgezeichnet geschlafen.

The room is very large, with a lot of quiet space for 2 people, the room is very quiet even though it is on the same floor as the reception, the pool part are very good and with the option to use any of the 3 of the hotel complex, very complete breakfast, with several options.

Maybe I didn't pay attention to the ad that mentions unlimited spa, but in fact it's only some services provided by the spa, already massages and treatments are all paid separately. Hotel parking is paid separately, being 10 euros per day.

Everything was perfect! We had a wonderful stay.🥰

After our problem we stay only to sleep in this hotel

The service was far below what we expected from a 5-star hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and the way our payment issue was handled was extremely unpleasant. We were pressured to pay immediately and threatened with police involvement, while a receptionist accompanied me to my room to collect the money, which frightened my child. Staff also shouted at our child at the pool at 6:55 p.m., although the pool was open until 7:00 p.m. Our room had no slippers or vanity kit, and we ran out of shower gel without anyone noticing until we reported it ourselves. Overall, the way we were treated by the staff and management seriously affected our holiday. Very disappointing experience.

It’s for the first time when i write a negative review, but I feel other guests should be aware of our experience. We booked our family holiday through Booking.com. After our arrival, the hotel informed us that an additional charge of €982 was required for our 8-year-old child. My complaint is not only about the amount charged, but mainly about the way the situation was handled. I asked the hotel to allow me time to contact Booking.com and resolve the issue through the platform where I had made the reservation. Instead, I was told that if I did not pay immediately, the police would be called. A receptionist was then instructed to accompany me to my room while I collected the money. I found this humiliating and unnecessary. My child witnessed everything and became frightened. During the discussion, I was told that the hotel’s priority was to make money. Those words perfectly reflected how we felt we were being treated. After our stay, I asked the hotel several reasonable questions, including why I was not allowed to resolve the matter through Booking.com, why there was such a large difference in the charge compared with another family travelling with us, and why a receptionist had to accompany me to my room. None of these questions were answered. We chose this hotel expecting a relaxing family holiday. Unfortunately, this incident overshadowed our stay and left us deeply disappointed. I hope the hotel will improve the way it treats its guests in similar situations.

We stayed in the 5 Star hotel and the cleanliness was exceptional. We done Bed and Breakfast only. The Breakfast had plenty to choose from and something for everyone, Can not fault that at all. The rooms are spacious and the Air con was amazing when it was over 34 Degrees. The pool was clean, but very quiet, You can change the towels every day. But you can’t have any lilos, of any sort, rings, chairs etc..no ball games, so for the children it might be a bit boring . You can’t reserve beds, but we had no issues getting 7 beds every day. It would do with a bit of background music , just to have a bit of noise. The waiters serve drinks to your sun beds, so no need to go to the bar. One thing I would point out is the location, you are 5 minutes walk away from the beach, but its right along a strip of a very German populated area, of young groups of men and women , all having fun , but a little drunk.There are some nice food restraints along there though. It is also inundated with men walking around trying to sell sunglasses, hats, etc… We did do the beach for 1 day and the water was really warm and clear, you can hire a sun bed for €10 each and then €10 for the fixed umbrella. We also done a banana boat which was €15 euros per person. There is a Supermarket about 10 minute walk from the hotel, head out the main entrance where you come in via your transfer, turn right and just walk straight and its down on the left.

O que mais gostei no alojamento foi a localização do hotel, tendo em conta a proximidade à praia de palma, que realmente é incrível. Água quente e mar calmo. Piscinas muito boas, mas horário vergonhoso.

O hotel não justifica o preço que pedem. Um hotel com restrições desajustadas. Não se pode jantar no hotel com calção. Ou seja, estamos de férias em Maiorca, no verão e somos obrigados a ir jantar de calças ou não podemos jantar (só homens), já as mulheres podem ir de saia, ou de calção. A piscina só abre às 10h da manhã e fecha às 19h, o que é lamentável, as temperaturas em Maiorca são quentes, podíamos perfeitamente ir para a piscina às 7h/8h/9h e ficar até às 22h. O hotel não tem saída para a rua principal mais próxima da praia. Se queremos sair para ir à praia temos que sair pela receção do hotel e andar quase 2km para ir há praia. Quando se tivessem uma saída na parte frontal do hotel seria muito mais rápido para os hóspedes. No momento do check-in, foi nos oferecido pela recepcionista o parque subterrâneo. Passado 4 dias após a utilização do parque, os cartões deixaram de abrir o parque, então fomos à receção e disseram que é impossível a colega ter oferecido o parque e que teríamos que pagar. Uma vergonha para este hotel. Lamentável. Após expor a situação, disseram que foi um mal entendido. Uma grande mentira! Porque o cartão abriu o parque durante 4 dias. Informei para verem nas câmaras de vigilância da receção a funcionária a informar da oferta e simplesmente ignoraram. Este hotel, tem condições, mas está a ser muito mal gerido. A ideia que dão é que só veem números (€) à frente e pouco importa o cliente, uma vez que 8 dias depois já serão outros clientes, esta é a ideia que fica. Por fim, no bar da piscina (LobyBar) único aberto ao almoço, aconteceu uma situação extremamente desagradável, pedimos à cozinheira salmão grelhado, que não estava na ementa, esta prontamente com arrogância abanou os braços a reclamar e fez uma cara feia. Contudo fez o salmão grelhado, era escusado a reação apoteótica. Mais uma vez, dão a entender que o cliente pouco importa, importa são (€) no fim do mês.

Bei unserer Ankunft war es gerade mal 9:30 Uhr , also noch weit weg vom Check in. Es wurde sich aber ganz lieb gekümmert und uns ein kostenloses Frühstück angeboten , das wir gerne angenommen haben. Wir haben danach unser Zimmer erhalten und dabei gleichzeitig ein Upgrade bekommen. Vielen Dank dafür. Die Familien Suite war genial mit Mega großer Terrasse und Meerblick. Das Personal ist einfach Mega, egal wo im Hotel, hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer ein Lächeln. Das Essen war Mega abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Da findet wirklich JEDER was, sei es beim Frühstück oder Abendessen. Ich finde das auch sehr gut, das beim Abendessen auf die Garderobe geachtet wird , Daumen hoch. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und ausreichend, es dürfen keine liegen mit Handtücher reserviert werden, sodass wirklich jeder eine Liege bekommt zu jeder Tageszeit. Das ist eine geniale Lösung und wird konsequent umgesetzt. Rooftopbar ist auch sehr empfehlenswert und am Abend mit Live Musik und einer sehr schönen Aussicht mit tollen Sonnenuntergang. Alles in allem wirklich nur zu empfehlen.

Das einzige Manko ist gemessen an der Anzahl der Zimmer dass es nur 2 Aufzüge gibt, da kann es schon mal zu Wartezeiten kommen, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau 😁

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family with two young children, and unfortunately our experience was significantly affected by the way an unexpected situation was handled upon arrival. After a long journey of approximately 14 hours, we arrived at the hotel and immediately informed the reception about our actual family composition. Our original booking was for two adults and one child, and we were fully prepared to pay any applicable additional charges for our four-year-old child. However, we were informed at check-in that an additional charge of €715.84 would be required for the younger child. This amount had not been clearly communicated during the booking process and came as a complete surprise upon arrival. What was particularly disappointing was the manner in which this situation was handled by management. Instead of approaching it in a calm, professional and guest-oriented way, the interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and confrontational, with very little willingness to listen or consider the circumstances of a family arriving after a long journey. At moments, the tone of the discussion became so tense that it no longer felt like a hospitality interaction, but rather a strict enforcement of rules without any flexibility or empathy. This created a very uncomfortable and stressful situation for us as guests. We were effectively presented with two options: either accept the additional charge or leave the hotel. For a family with two tired children arriving at the end of a long travel day, this created unnecessary pressure and a very difficult start to our stay. While we ultimately remained at the hotel and were accommodated in a higher room category, the experience left us with the impression that strict policy enforcement was prioritised over finding a reasonable and empathetic solution in a difficult moment. We fully understand that hotels have occupancy policies and pricing structures, and we respect the need for clear rules. However, in a five-star hospitality environment, we would expect such situations to be handled with more flexibility, communication, and focus on guest experience. Although the facilities and the room we were eventually given were of a good standard, this check-in experience had a significant negative impact on our overall impression of the hotel and the start of our holiday.

Myself my husband and 14 year old son stayed here for a week in July bed and breakfast. First appearance of hotel when you walk in was wow. However after a few days it felt we were staying in a conference centre no personality at all no vibe. Full of Germans who didn’t even smile at you if you were dtsnnext to them at a lift. Pool area lovely but again no atmosphere no music no inflatables in pool not allowed to order a drink from pool bar without your T-shirts on which is ridiculous in 35 degree heat and soaking wet. Plenty of sunbeds around. We went to beach most days as our so. Found pool boring. The beach is dirty full of fag ends but the water is clean and shallow to swim. The area around hotel was poor very dirty and tacky and hundreds of Germans in football tops. Unfortunately I won’t be returning to this hotel or resort as I thought it was over priced considering the location. Also bear in mind if you choose a stand room they all face the road.

In addition to the luxurious Rituals toiletries provided throughout the hotel, we also received thoughtful welcome amenities tailored for each guest (men’s or women’s products), including deodorant, facial sunscreen, and after-sun cream. The room was cleaned twice a day, and every evening we found delicious chocolates left on the bed—a lovely gesture that made us feel truly special. As Serenity Club members, we enjoyed many exclusive benefits, including a complimentary minibar, free parking, access to a private lounge open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. where we could enjoy drinks, fresh fruit, and desserts, as well as an exclusive area by the pool. The food is absolutely exceptional—true premium quality. The chefs prepare your chosen cut of meat right in front of you, exactly the way you like it. Everything was simply perfect. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, ruhig und bietet viele Ablagemöglichkeiten. Nach unserem Hinweis bezüglich der Sauberkeit bei der Anreise wurde die Zimmerreinigung verbessert. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich das Personal. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Auch das Frühstück hat uns überzeugt, mit einer guten Auswahl und einem engagierten Team, insbesondere an den Live-Cooking-Stationen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Supermärkte, Restaurants, eine Bushaltestelle und der Strand sind bequem in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Ein wesentlicher Kritikpunkt betrifft jedoch die Ausstattung der Zimmer. Amenities wie Slipper, Duschhaube, Wattepads oder ähnliche Produkte sind nicht standardmäßig vorhanden und müssen jedes Mal erneut angefordert werden. Die Begründung mit der Nachhaltigkeit kann ich grundsätzlich nachvollziehen. Dennoch erwarte ich in einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel ein gewisses Maß an Komfort. Für mich schließt Nachhaltigkeit nicht aus, solche Artikel bei Bedarf unkompliziert für die Dauer des Aufenthalts bereitzustellen. Tägliches Nachfragen und Warten auf die Bereitstellung empfinde ich als unnötig umständlich und nicht dem Komfortniveau entsprechend, das man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten darf. Verbesserungsbedarf sehe ich außerdem am Pool. Der dortige Bademeister trat mehrfach unfreundlich auf und reagierte weder auf Grüße noch auf ein Dankeschön. Es wurden regelmäßig Liegen über längere Zeit reserviert, ohne dass sie genutzt wurden. Hier wäre es wünschenswert, wenn das Hotel etwas konsequenter darauf achten und seine Regelungen entsprechend umsetzen würde, damit alle Gäste die gleichen Chancen auf eine freie Liege haben.

Das Hotel hat uns hervorragend gefallen. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Sina an der Rezeption bedanken. Sie war sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit – ein toller Service! Das Zimmer wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Die Frühstücks- und Abendbuffets waren sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war. Besonders positiv fanden wir die Regelung am Pool: Liegen dürfen nicht schon früh morgens bedetzt werden. Darüber wurden wir bereits beim Check-in informiert, und die Regel wird tatsächlich umgesetzt. Dadurch findet man zu jeder Zeit einen freien Platz am Pool. Das empfinden wir als eine sehr faire und gelungene Hotelpolitik. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Es erspricht alles den Bildern und das Personal wer super toll, man hat sich sehr Wohl gefühlt und das Zimmer war auch sehr sauber.

Die Türen des Hotelzimmers waren sehr laut und schwer zu öffnen. Man hört jede Türe welche zu geht, was wenn man früher als andere schlafen möchte etwas stört. Im Restaurant könnte, dass Personal etwas weniger gestresst sein, kaum hat man fertig gegessen war der Teller von dem Personal schon weggerissen worden.

Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good

Overall, our stay was disappointing. It was extremely difficult to find anyone at the reception. There were never any taxis waiting outside, and every time we needed one, we had to wait several minutes just to find someone at the front desk to help us. The elevator situation was also a major issue. During our 4-night stay, on 3 nights there was only one small elevator working for the entire hotel. This was incredibly inconvenient and caused long waits. The dinner buffet looked appealing, but unfortunately almost everything we tried was disappointing. The meat was so tough that it was difficult to chew, the fish lacked flavor, and in general the food was very bland and below expectations. The poolside service was also very poor. Finding a staff member to place an order felt almost impossible, and service was consistently slow and inattentive. There was no direct access to the beach from the hotel. Even though the beach was right next to the property, we had to walk about 15 minutes to reach it. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the lack of service, poor food quality, and operational issues significantly affected our experience.

Der Kaffee vom Vollautomat schmeckt leider immer noch nicht so gut. Dann lieber einen von der Bar. Hausschuhe wurden Anfangs nicht auf Zimmer bereit gestellt, erst auf Nachfrage. Die Wassertemperatur schwankt ständig beim Duschen

La atención del personal excelente, muy educados y atentos. La calidad, tanto del desayuno y la cena, insuperable, además de que había muchísima variedad y cocina en "directo". Por último, cuenta con unos servicios excelentes.

Un detalle sin importancia, en el momento de realizar la reserva en booking, en ningún momento se especificaba que la bebida no estaba incluida en la cena (régimen de media pensión).

Super schönes Hotel mit tollem Service, Essen und sehr ruhigen Lage! Hatten zunächst Bedenken wegen der Nähe zur Partymeile, haben aber keinen Abend was davon mitbekommen - auch nicht bei den Gästen. Die Zimmer waren schön geräumig und super ausgestattet. Personal stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Perfekt für Familien und Paare!

Last year, we have been to Hipotels Gran Playa De Palma (4 star hotel belong to same group right next to this one). We were quite happy with our stay and this year we wanted to try the 5 star one. Dinner was excellent. It is way beyond what you can expect from an hotel buffet. They have a bbq corner where you can choose different options and chef cooks your choice with your preferences. All the choices are prepared with high quality ingredients and well presented. Heaven Roof Bar is quite nice, with its view and night shows. Our son 2.5 years old son enjoyed it. You can also participate night shows in 4 star hotel. Beach is in 5 minutes walking distance. 2 sun beds + 1 umbrella costs 30 Euros there (was 18 Euros in 2025). I recommend buying shade from sellers (negotiate, we were able to get it for 15 Euros) if you don't like to be exposed to much to sun like me. There is a supermarket Marcedona, in 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel with reasonable prices and various options. There is nothing much offered for the kids. However you can always use the 4 star hotel to join kids club and mini disco in the evening.

The breakfast

This hotel feels much closer to a 4-star than a true 5-star property. Everything was quite average. The pool area is basic, the minibar is poor, no snacks, and complimentary water is only provided on the first night. There is no room service, the phone in the room is ancient, and the bathroom doesn't offer any complimentary amenities. The dining hours are also frustrating, after 10 PM there's basically nowhere to eat and you can starve. It was also my birthday during my stay, and unlike many hotels in this category, there wasn't even a small gesture or acknowledgment. Overall, the hotel reminds me more of a standard Turkish resort than a luxury hotel. You pay premium prices but the experience feels surprisingly cheap.

Die Hotelanlage selbst hat uns gut gefallen. Besonders der Außenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, der kleine Spa- und Wellnessbereich ist angenehm und alles war ausgesprochen sauber.

Leider begann der Aufenthalt jedoch etwas unglücklich. Wir kamen ohne vorherige Reservierung, da bei Booking.com freie Kapazitäten und ein attraktiver Preis angezeigt wurden und ich gerne direkt vor Ort gebucht hätte. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob man mir diesen Preis auch direkt an der Rezeption anbieten könne, erhielt ich lediglich die Antwort, ich müsse zunächst über Booking buchen, dann könne man meine Frage beantworten. Das habe ich anschließend auch getan. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel empfand ich diesen Empfang als eher befremdlich. Wirklich willkommen fühlten wir uns leider nicht. Wir hatten Halbpension mit Frühstück und Abendessen gebucht. Noch bevor wir richtig Platz genommen hatten, wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass Getränke – in unserem Fall lediglich Wasser und Saft – nicht inklusive seien und separat bezahlt werden müssten. Dass Getränke bei Halbpension häufig nicht enthalten sind, ist völlig in Ordnung. Die Art, wie dies kommuniziert wurde, wirkte jedoch wenig gastfreundlich und eher unprofessionell. Das Hotel ist insgesamt gepflegt und hochwertig, allerdings fehlt aus meiner Sicht ein stimmiges Gesamtkonzept. In vielen 5-Sterne-Hotels gibt es eine einheitliche Duftsignatur, die den Aufenthalt zusätzlich aufwertet. Hier roch jeder Bereich anders. Das ist natürlich ein subjektiver Eindruck, fiel mir aber auf. Ein weiterer Punkt sind die Aufzüge. Für einen so großen Hotelkomplex sind zwei Aufzüge schlicht zu wenig. Gerade zu Stoßzeiten wartet man teilweise sehr lange. Etwas unglücklich fand ich außerdem den Hinweis auf den Dresscode. Wir waren sauber und elegant gekleidet und fühlten uns durch die Ansprache etwas vor den Kopf gestoßen, während andere Gäste beispielsweise in Fußballtrikots unterwegs waren. Ein Dresscode ist selbstverständlich legitim, allerdings macht auch hier der Ton die Musik. In einem Haus dieser Kategorie hätte ich mir eine etwas elegantere und situationsgerechtere Kommunikation gewünscht. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung.

Pools is really good The location is just few minutes away from the beach and restaurants. The local restaurant has a really good valeu/quality rate. Staff is helpful and friendly.

The gym is tiny, so it's hard for more than three people to be in there. They only have two elevators for the whole hotel, so waits can be long during busy times, which is bad for anyone with mobility issues. This is super specific to people in premium rooms: the fridge and snacks weren't refilled like they should've been. I had to ask the concierge, and they'd fix it right away, but it's annoying to have to send messages when you just want to chill and have your stuff ready. Also, the exclusive pool area is small and confusing. Sometimes, you'll see other guests taking the spot and people always getting kicked out because the area isn't clearly marked.

Das Zimmer hatte Meerblick und war sehr groß. Wir hatten Halbpension und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Angebot. Wir würden alles in allem mit einer 12 von 10 bewerten, also alles tip top einfach perfekt.

This was easily one of the most amazing travel experiences I've had. Very close to the Palma airport which made travel to and from the hotel very easy. And no, you do not hear any planes flying overhead (I was even on the last floor of the hotel). Susana assisted me during check-in and I arrived many hours prior to check-in time and she was able to get me into a room within a couple hours. She was kind and helpful! Maties was also fantastic, he brought my bag up to my room and went into detail about all the amenities and room controls. He was also helpful in referring places nearby to watch the World Cup games! My room was exquisite, clean and the entire hotel was well-kept throughout my stay. Cristian was my favorite person at the hotel as I was at the buffet frequently during my stay for breakfast and dinner. He was extremely attentive, kind, and on top of everything. Also Sr. Javier at the omelette station during breakfast was such a JOY! he was greeting everyone (in different languages!) and always with a smile on his face. Lastly, George at reception, made my checkout process seamless and when they noticed I'd forgotten my watch, they went out of their way to get it returned to me. The staff at this hotel is second to none in my opinion, I'd never experienced such amazing hospitality anywhere I've stayed and would absolutely come back. Absolutely worth the cost, a great value for the attentiveness and amenities. 10/10 would recommend to everyone looking for a place close to the airport and a beach. Playa de Palma was beautiful with great sunrise/sunset views and only a 5min walk from the hotel!
