Good location opposite the hospital where I was working. Also 15 minute walk to the river. The room was small but had everything I needed for a one night stay. If I could get a bigger room for the same price and with double bed, this was a single, I may look elsewhere eg. Premier inn, but would consider staying again.

Small check in window 3-6pm which no problem in the end but I was worried I might not be able to finish work on time or that I’d have to leave work early so that did cause a little stress.

Its a family business so understandably the hours for checkin and checkout are not like in a hotel, where you can arrive and leave (or leave the bags) as you wish, there are specific hours for it because the family needs their time outside the house, of course (or it can be arranged in advance) but it worked great for me.

It was lovely, clean and tidy. A short walk into the town and butterfly farm. Handy how the key to the room opens the front door too

The road it's on seemed to get very loud at night. I can't imagine it'd usually be a problem but I had the window open due to the heat wave.

The location was handy - in between the train station and the centre of Stratford. Room was clean and comfortable enough.

The room, and hotel as a whole, has a pretty dated style. Of course, interior design is a matter of taste, so maybe other people would like that, but it seemed to me it could use an update.

It was a very lovely place to stay. Walking distance from the town centre. It was clean and nice and quiet.

No onsite parking. We parked, as directed, in the public car park diagonally opposite the property.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was convenient.

My room, number 5, was located at the top of two steep staircases. It was rather a struggle to get up there with just a modest sized suitcase. There was no lift. Other rooms at the top were numbers 6 and 7. The room was very small with no table or chair - just the bed, a small wardrobe and the bathroom. The property is situated on a busy road, quite noisy.

Didn’t end up staying, they cancelled on the day, I believe they overbooked.

The fact that they cancelled 2 hours before we arrived. I felt it was because they cocked up our request for a twin room, they clearly over booked then wanted to shove me and my friend in a double room. I don’t mind my friend but would rather not share a bed with her, especially in this heatwave. They then tried to shove us in a basement room, not happening!!! They wanted me to cancel, again not happening as then I’d have lost £90 through no fault of mine. They again tried to get us to cancel and again offered us a double room. Why offer the same room which we refused?? Originally we did actually book the basement but after we booked it came up saying not suitable for people with mobility problems, hence why we rebooked and requested a twin room. I did finally get all my money back but not until I refused to cancel and umpteen messages and calls. Host is rude, called me bizarre and his customer service skills are zero.

The location couldn't have been better. We were minutes walking to all the shops, restaurants, cafes and interesting places to visit.

Das Hotel sieht schon schnuckelig aus, viktorianischer Stil. Ich liebe so etwas! Innen wunderbar alt und sehr gepflegt! Ein sehr freundlicher älterer Herr empfing uns. Das Zimmer war im 2. OG unterm Dach, hatte eine schöne Dachgaube mit Blick auf das Double Tree Hilton. Wir wurden vorab darauf hingewiesen, dass der Treppenaufgang zum 2. OG steil wäre, man sollte nicht gehbeeinträchtig sein. Wir ahnten, was sie meinten und fanden es schön abenteuerlich. Ich finde, solch alte Häuser haben das einfach. Etwas Handgepäck geht leicht die Stufen rauf. Große Koffer sollte man nicht haben. Dafür nimmt man sich kein Dachgeschoß-Zimmer. :) Wir wollten auch nur eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp bleiben und Shakespearehouse und MAD Museum ansehen. Das gepflegte Interieur hat mir imponiert. Unser Zimmer war liebevoll romantisch möbliert, das Bad war klein, neu, sauber und völlig okay. Frühstück hatten wir keines !? Dafür lobe ich die Cornish Bakery direkt neben dem MAD-Museumseingang!! Welch guter Kaffee und was für tolle Kaffeestückchen (wie wir Deutsche Rheinland-Pfälzer sagen, ggf. auch "Teilchen"). Da gingen wir doch glatt zweimal hin. Parken am Hotel ist schwierig. Wir parkten auf dem Hospitalparkplatz (nachts bis 8 am frei). Man sollte schon kurz vor 8 am vorm Frühstück hin und ein digitales Ticket lösen solange benötigt. Das Hotel hätte ein vergünstigtes "Ticket" angeboten. Aber wir parkten ja vorm Einchecken - logisch.

Ich war von Frühstück inklusive ausgegangen. Das gab es nicht. Aber quasi um 2 Ecken war die Fußgängerzone und dieses Wahnsinns Corny Bakery Café. Zufall, dass wir das entdeckten, es sah klein, modern aus mit Tischen außen.

Perfect position to walk to everywhere in Stratford upon Avon, good size room, very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Bathroom good size, clean, nice towels.

From car park google map takes you to the wrong place! You need to cross the main road and walk back along the road to the property!

Good location for walking into the town, 10 mins walk to the river. Kind and helpful owner, easy parking across the road in car park, with discounted voucher bought on check in.

A very good choice to stay in Stratford upon Avon. Easy walking distance to town centre, RSC Theatre, train station etc. Very competitively priced. Accommodating owners.

One small glitch, the toilet seat in my room would not stay up unless held in place.

We had a room in the basement, which was great as the weather was very hot but the room was lovely and cool. The toilet paper was very high quality and much appreciated!

The sink in the shower room was small and the shelf above got in the way.

Parking long stay was easy. rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Excellent location, good cafe for breakfast nearby. Fan provided to easy the heat of the room was very good.

It met our expectations for the price we paid for our rooms.

The room was small but had absolutely everything we needed, it was extremely clean , the bed was amazing, we usually stay high end hotels ,this I would say comfortable and clean is as good , it was wonderful I just wish I could have slept in that bed alot longer 😀

It was very clean, good value, comfortable and central.

Check-in times were a bit restrictive and the carpet underlay in our room made a crackling sound which we found weirdly off-putting but you get what you pay for and generally we thought it was good value, clean and comfortable.

Boiler broke down. Major issue is no hot water when arrived. Sorted second night and also took an electric shower in non occupied room on the second day. These things happen i suppose.

Very friendly service, helpful. The location is close to everything, easy to walk to. The rooms are on the small-ish side, excellent for a solo traveller or couple. When the window is closed, you can't hear the traffic, so you get a peaceful sleep. There's a large fan mounted on the wall so if the window is closed, you still have a nice breeze to cool down with. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Stratford. Had such a lovely stay, thank you for the hospitality!

חדרים פצפונים ומינימליים. חדר שירותים ומקלחת כה קטן שבקושי ניתן להסתדר. בחדר יש רק מיטה בסיסית וארון, ואין מקום לשום דבר נוסף. אין נוף, והחלון בחדר שלי היה קטן וסגור, ובחדר של הבנות שלי, במרתף, בכלל לא היה חלון.

Location close to railway station and 10 minute walk to main attractions, quiet, comfortable room. I was okay with it, but the room location was on top floor which is accessible through very steep stairwell. I was able to manage, but can be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. What I did appreciate is the owner informed me of this and was willing to offer a room on a lower floor if the stairwell was an issue.

Not a huge issue, but the coordination of dropping my bag before official check in was challenging. Eventually it worked out, but it seemed to be an inconvenience to request this.

Amazing collection of art from all over the world! The owner was kind. Room clean and comfortable. Perfect location for the train; basically across the street. Also grocery and other shops nearby. Walking distance to the city center.

Needed spare bedding. My mum was cold in the night whereas we were fine. Had there been spare bedding, it would have been perfect.
