The property itself is very nice: the room was classic, clean, and well-maintained, with a great bathroom and shower. The pub downstairs is wonderful, super cozy, and they serve a really delicious traditional English breakfast. The only major issue was the room temperature. Staying there in June during a hot spell, the lack of air conditioning made the room extremely warm day and night, making it very hard to get a good night's sleep. However, I want to highlight how understanding the owners were. After discussing the issue, we managed to come to a fair mutual agreement. Even though it took some time to wrap up, they kept their word and proved to be honest and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction.
Unfortunately, summers in the UK are getting hotter, so hotels there should really consider installing proper air conditioning, otherwise the guest experience will suffer, Booking.com customer support was a disgrace for me this time...
Great location and friendly
Staff were friendly and helpful, free parking very useful, location of nearby restaurants
Location suitable for me on this occasion
Dated as would be expected from an old property
Comfortable room very quiet once window was closed considering its quite close to Heathrow.Good place to stay if needing to get into London which is why we stayed here. Staff and locals in the pub very welcoming and friendly. Free parking and could leave the car there the next day which was a major bonus.
Area a little run down. Main light in bedroom hanging out of the ceiling and double plug hanging off the wall looked to dangerous to use.
Friendly, big rooms, comfortable bed, ideal location free parking
A good pub with good food and very friendly staff. The location worked well for my work and there's a car park, though the surrounding area isn't the nicest part of London, there was shouting in the street at night.
This hotel isn't bad. I've stayed at better and I've stayed at worse, and it was worth it for the price I got. But I can't recommend it, for one reason: the bed! It was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've slept on in a long time. I could actually feel the individual springs digging into my side at night. It was bad enough that on my last night I considered booking another hotel just to get some sleep. Milford Arms, this is an easy fix, a new mattress would do it. But until then I can't recommend it.
Great attitude from staff. They were very helpful and accommodating. They let us have a late check-in, up to 12.30am if needed as we were travelling from a London show, but we were able to arrive by 11.45pm. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here
The bathroom had a stale smell, mostly because there isn't a window just a very small exhaust fan. The sink tap was very loose and hard to turn on/off as a result. But since we only needed it for 2 nights as a base to visit London and Hampton it served our purpose well
Great location close the Heathrow with free parking, great food and nice pub below! Really friendly service!
Nothing
Loved the staff , so helpful , Mason always smiling and nothing too much trouble x Gammi who cooked our extremely good breakfasts very day was very helpful and courteous and hard working. Towels and linen were changed everyday that was a very nice service
In extreme heat air-conditioning would have been good but it is a pub and we were provided with fans. So all good
Location - away from the busy high street but close enough to walk to it.
The carpet in the room and the stairs needs changing.
Location was great. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Even though in a pub no noise at all. Slept like a dream.
Could do a little make over but clean and comfy
Looks Good
No comment
prima kamer, goede plek.
De pub was extreem luid
Room was well serviced. The fan was effective and the bathroom was perfectly adequate for our needs
The sound-proofing could have been better
It was cosy and clean and is conveniently located. Staff was very friendly and helpful
My room was small but adequate for an overnight stay, with a flat screen tv, tea & coffee making facilities, a hanging rail, plenty of plug sockets and an ensuite. Although the pub menu looked lovely, I didn't eat there as I arrived quite late. I did have the breakfast though and that was very tasty indeed. I had the full english. I would definitely stay here again. 😊
Nothing to dislike but if I had to be picky I would like a mirror in the main room.
Location
Small dated room and didnt fell clean.
To be honest, I don't quite understand the glowing reviews. The room—especially the bathroom—was not clean, and the adjacent road was very busy, even early in the morning, which is very bothersome when the windows are open. Breakfast was meager, and there was live music until midnight on Saturday; that’s great, of course, unless you have to leave early the next morning.
A very pleasant stay with kind staff. The room was comfortable and provided with a fan, which was much needed given the heatwave. Lovely to be able to spend time on the tables outside, and the pub itself is lovely.
Staff welcoming and helpful. Room compact and with different ceiling heights may not be suitable for a tall person. Even if a little tired in places the facilities were very clean. Had everything I needed. Useful information in a folder in the room. Value for money. Free onsite parking is a bonus, just have to key in registration number on the tablet.
Not a fault of the venue but more down to the English weather, the room was very hot. I did have a fan in the room which helped.
Good location, free parking. Nice decor in rooms and modern. Beds were quite comfy.
Only downside was there was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom that was there since entering the room.
Beautifully decorated room, shower was incredible and bed was super comfy. Had hanging space for clothes and vanity/ desk to get ready. Tea and coffee facilities great. Upstairs from a great pub which has lovely pub garden and very nice staff. There’s a bus stop right outside.
It’s a good 10-15 min walk from central Hounslow however not an issue as there’s a bus stop right outside
It was all lovely and I couldn’t fault it . It had a car park, lovely breakfasts of all choices which aren’t stupidly expensive, the staff are helpful and the young man at the bar carried my bags to to my room on the second floor in the heat which was sweet of him . The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely and provided extra milk portions for me which she discreetly left outside my room , they had a hairdryer and a good TV. There’s even a TV in the garden for sunny evenings and also in the breakfast room . I’ll stay again, it’s lovely .
The ONLY negative ( which is nobody’s fault as that’s down to God and climate change!) is that the top single rooms of which I was staying in one, get very hot due to being on the top floor and heat rising . The fan was on full blast ( they provided a nice big fan but I also brought a small one from home for by the bed ) when I first entered the room as there’s no AC it being an old building, and we now have heatwave summers unfortunately, it was very hot to sleep in or even sit in even with fan on, sleeping under one sheet and the curtain closed at the hottest part of the day to stop the heat getting in, but I managed to in the end as the room was lovely and quiet . When I next come and sleep in a top room I’ll make sure it’s not in high summer but one of the other three seasons instead . But that’s nobody’s fault actually it’s just climate change . Still a lovely room and great to stay there .
The pub was located within walking distance of Winchester city centre. They provided a parking permit for residents parking outside the pub. The room was comfortable and on the first floor although it was a bit hot. We did have a meal at the pub in the garden which was very pleasant.
The room was a bit hot as the sun was on the windows most of the day. A fan was provided but it didn't make much difference.
Staff were friendly, room was clean, close to Heathrow Airport for early flights.
Close to Hounslow East and Isleworth stations
Directly under the flightpath to Heathrow and on a very busy road. Very dilapidated. No EV charging. No aircon
The location was good, 10 minute walk to bars, shops etc.
Whilst we were in a heatwave when we stayed, as soon as we opened the door to the room it was like stepping into a sauna. We had been provided with 2 fans, both of which were filthy with dust and lacked in any power to actually cool the air. There was only 1 small opening window. The room was very basic, and although the bedding was clean, the matresses were old and creaky. The bathroom was very small, but had all the basics. Furniture and decor was nice but tired. Lots of signs of wear throughout.
La sympathie du personnel, le confort de la chambre, le ventilateur
Location and food
The lack of ventilation in the room
The food at the Milford Arms is excellent. Beds are comfortable, and shower is powerful. Great location for Twickenham. It was the heatwave weekend, and the staff had plugged in and switched on cooling fans in the room. The staff are very lovely. Surprisingly, it is very quiet in the rooms, considering this is a lively local pub. It's roughly a 25-minute walk to Twickenham, or you can jump the bus outside the pub.
Television in the room kept freezing. Rooms are a little small.
Clean
Better maintenance of the bathroom, taps wobbly needs tightening up ,shower temperature control doesn’t move well end up having a cold shower which was rather chilly ,breakfast was ok it was cooked breakfast no option for cereals or yogurt ideal times good
Cute little pub with great rooms. Great access for Richmond. Breakfast was great - a fab fry up!
The staff were really lovely, the room was clean and comfortable and easy to access and the parking was an extra bonus! We would definitely stay here again!
In the current heatwave I can't hold it against the facilities but it was very hot. They had provided a fan which helped but there isn't much ventilation upstairs generally. And sadly just given the location and need to have the windows open, the road noise was loud.
Comfortable room not far from the train station. Reasonable price with free parking too
We didn't have breakfast.
Everything we needed.
The staff and the breakfast.
Reality doesn’t match the photo. Lacking in exterior flower baskets etc
Great location for us Lovely beer garden, food and drinks Great breakfast
Room was on the small side
Lovely place
Needs up dating
Friendly Staff
Nothing
Spacious room
Road noise
The venue was ideal in terms of were we needed to be. Friendly staff. Easy access.
The pipes in the bathroom in the room was smelling. The noise of the planes but that’s not there fault. There was no hair dryer in the room when they said there was.
Rude housekeeper kept knocking on the door too hard while I was in the shower as if it’s a police raid, I guess he wanted to wake me up well before my checkout time (so he could go home earlier or he was just a sick person waking up someone who drove all night) . He was lucky I wasn’t sleeping because my natural reaction would be slapping him waking me up like that…
Attic room for a tall person isn’t ideal. Cheap bed and mattress. I’m travelling and been to a lot cheaper but nicer places…
Good location , staff were friendly and the place has a good atmosphere. Food was good and reasonably priced. Also a nice outside area but just a bit cold to use it during my visit.
Some of the furniture in my room was a little dated but still fully functional.
Very understanding with the late check-in, due to having to travel after work, and appreciated their kindness in allowing me to pre-order dinner. The stonebaked pizza was great. The room was clean and perfect temperature, I always worry I'm going to be too cold. Had breakfast in the morning and staff were willing to adapt the meal to get "one of each", so I can make it in time for my 8AM interview. The breakfast was cooked very quickly and the bacon was amazing. The whole day experience was like clockwork. No one was noisy before 7AM which was great, I would gladly return if I need accommodation in the area, Room 10 was perfect.
Stayed here a coiple of times ad will use again when going to rugby games at Twickenham. Good staff, good food evning, lunch and breakfast. 20 min walk to Twikenham or 5 to 10 min in cab.
Ottima posizione, staff molto disponibile, pulizia e riordino stanza eccellente
Struttura un po’ datata ma con ottimi servizi
The pub itself has a great atmosphere. Good music playing live karaoke! If karaoke doesn't make you smile then nothing will. The staff were helpful and polite. Parking was plentiful (and free)! The room was cosy, good bathroom/shower and comfy bed. I came on a very hot day/night and planned to ask for a fan. But on arrival to my room there were not one, but two fans kindly placed and already turned on. Little things like this are much appreciated and show a staff that are mindful and care. A great (albeit brief stay) but I would 100% return. Location wise 10/10 a short drive to Richmond for all the parks and the nightlife.
I didn't dislike anything about the stay.
Staff and pub down atairs transpoet links
Smelly drains mainly the ahoqer and carpets had lots of debris on it ie hair sheets where clean but had atains on them need to be replaced

Nothing
Friendly staff, great breakfast, superb value for money.
Room a little dated. Loo roll holder fell off the walll and the tap on the sink is very loose. Room 6 guys, jobs for this week 😃
The staff were nice
The bed was so noisy in room 6, it was very difficult to sleep. I did email the hotel last week to ask about a lost hat and I haven’t had a response which is pretty poor.
Friendly, helpful staff
Gut für eine Übernachtung, wenn man in der Gegend was zu tun hat, gutes Frühstück
Wir mussten das Frühstück extra bezahlen, obwohl es bei der Buchung über Booking im preis inbegriffen war.
Room was very clean and tidy. The pub is on a busy road but noise wasn't an issue. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. Went for a walk after breakfast in the lovely park opposite, very nice.
Nothing particularly, everything was fine.
Stayed there so close to Heathrow. Had nice meal there and staff very friendly. close to Kew Gardens also. Was a nice place to stay.
👍👍👍
😁
A public house with a clientele that leaves something to be desired but the food and the room were very good.
The tobacco smokers in the pool table room
Fun facility. Enjoyed the convivial atmosphere.
Location & friendly staff
Price. We thought £120 per night included Breakfast ? Sadly it didn’t ?
Good value. Parking
Traffic noise
The parking was free, the facilities were clean & tidy. The bathroom was clean & well appointed with a good shower.
The lack of a chair in the bedroom.
Excellent and friendly staff. Very comfortable room!
Noise, but totally appreciate the timings of my stay for a Saturday night. Some cracking singers for the karaoke.
Access to rooms via fire excape
Windows need updating. Couldtnt watch tv. Bad signal. Plastic horrible cups in bathroom.
Location, very comfortable clean room. Excellent breakfast & dinner. Staff friendly & helpful.
The staff were all kind and ready to help, the general atmosphere was positive, there was a pub, it was close to the rugby stadium, nice warm shower and comfortable bed
Noise from the road, but it was manageable.
Stayed muliple times. Excellent staff in the pub. Great place to stay.. looking forward to our next stay in a few weeks time.
Nice big room, comfortable bed charging ports for my phone and tablet. The shower was very good with nice hot water and big towels to dry oneself. I would stay there again.
As it is a pub, there was some noise coming from the pub. It didn't bother me, but for someone who likes to sleep early, it might affect them. I think it would be nice to have a separate entrance so as not to walk through the pub all the time.
Staff were execeptionally polite. Car park was great. Plenty of spaces. The room and ensuite was a great size and clean and comfortable. The room is in an old building which gives a nice character. We stayed for 1 night as we were going to a game at Twickenham stadium. We got an uber easily from and back to the property. (£14 there, £8 back) so good location for games. We didnt stay for breakfast as we had to get back. Overall, was a very nice stay, ideal for what we wanted.
Nothing.

Very friendly and a good breakfast
The room was very cold
Very clean room. Everything I needed was there. Very helpful and friendly. Excellent parking. Fab full English breakfast and excellent coffee.
Looks a bit tired from the outside.
It was clean and the staff was helpful and kind.
It was too far away from things. Transportation was expensive. Also staff wasn’t there late at night.
The bed was very confortable. Shower exceptional, already set at a very good temperature. Large bar area.
Room was cold. Apparently the heating was supposed to come on automatically but it never did. A member of staff got it working mid afternoon but by time I got back late evening it had gone off and that was it.
Bedroom was comfy and clean.
Would have preferred breakfast being served earlier.
Good location and selection of beers. Nice beer garden too.
Since my last stay, the mattress in room 8 seems to have got a lot worse and was very uncomfortable. It was also difficult to control the temperature in the room as despite turning the radiator off, it remained on at full blast. The shower also needs unblocking and there was a general drainage smell coming from the toilet / bathroom. Only saw two people in my entire stay, the barman who checked me in and a waiter (?) on the morning I checked out. No feedback forms either. Unfortunately I won’t be staying again.
Friendly staff and made to feel welcome.
Great location with parking at no extra cost Clean comfortable room Will stay again
na
The property is in a great location, 5/10 mins walk to Isleworth station. Shops and cafes nearby, which is handy. Our room (12) was clean and tidy, in need of some tlc in the bathroom but shower was good. Food in the pub was good, pub grub at a decent price and staff very friendly.
You have to remember this is a room above a pub. Saturday night was quite noisy with either a singer or karaoke until past midnight. Not great for a restful sleep after a full day. The noise from the road and airport was distracting it you could tune out eventually. Overall value for money but take earplugs if a light sleeper
