Beautiful historic property in fantastic central location a block from the Duomo and Accademia gallery, with very comfortable room, and wonderful full breakfast just a short walk away, friendly staff.

This hotel is a very old and historic building in the middle of the action in Florence and very close to the Duomo. Our room was small and relatively spare - nothing fancy - but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was attentive and kind. We had an electrical issue in the first room we were assigned and they could not have been nicer about moving us and providing a voucher for a lovely breakfast for us and our family for our trouble. It was a generous and much appreciated gift. We stayed on the third floor, which has a great balcony in the back of the hotel, which provided a nice and shady place to sit and relax late in the day.

L’emplacement est parfait, à quelques mètres du célèbre Duomo dans un bâtiment qui etait autrefois un monastère et dont le charme a été préservé. Le personnel est au petit soin.

Room was large, clean, good A/C, quiet, perfect for families! Great location, walkable to all sites. Reception was super friendly and very helpful with our late check in.

Daughter said her pillow was too hard and too thin.

Great location! Walkable to everything and very easy to get to the train station. Staff were very chatty and helpful. I got a room upgrade to a family suit which was very spacious. Despite is location, the hotel was very quiet and easy to rest/sleep in

There's a few stairs around, which can be difficult for navigating with large bags. However this is due to the hotel being in a very old building which has its charms. Bathroom was a little tired, but again it's an older building so there's certain things that can't be changed.

Amazing location and very friendly staff. The room was large and comfortable and had a beautiful view. I was ill and the team was very kind and understanding to me - exactly what you need when sick and alone in a foreign country! I would absolutely recommend this place. Pictures are very accurate.

I was disappointed to learn the breakfast was not on site - it's at a restaurant about 50m away, but my disappointment quickly turned to excitement when they gave me an AMAZING breakfast that was so tasty! I loved it, but it did take quite a long time. Just a personal preference, but in terms of decor, the room could do with a few more "soft furnishings" - rugs, lamps, artwork, etc. It had colourful furniture which I loved and gave it a little but of life, but not the small elements needed to tie it all together - again, just personal preference:)

We enjoyed our time very much here. The check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The gave us a free upgrade which was a nice surprise and the room was ready so we were able to check in early and get situated. The elevator/lift was very, very slow, but they warned us about it and it did the job of getting our luggage up to the 3rd floor. Our room was a suite and was very spacious. We had some issues with the A/C not turning on but the housekeeping staff kept working at it until they got the correct settings and once it was working, it worked very well! The bed was super comfortable, there were a couple of water bottles waiting for us in the room, the room was clean, and the ambience was perfect. I sat out on the balcony overlooking the courtyard and loved listening to church bells ringing in the distance. They also gave us a coupon for a free drink in the library, which we took advance of, and it was super neat up in the library. They have done such an amazing job turning in this old convent into hotel accommodations. The square out front is a lively place, both during the day and at night, but the noise from the street never bothered us as our room wasn't facing the square. The staff held our luggage for us while we were sightseeing the day we were to check out as our train left later in the afternoon. We walked to nearby sights including the Uffizi and the Arno River and the Accademia Gallery. The location was also only about a 10 minute walk from the train station which was convenient. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again should we be in the area. Also, if you stay here, make sure to eat at the restaurant, Trattoria San Lorenzo, which is right there on the square. Out of all the restaurants we ate at in Italy and Greece during our 2 weeks, this was our favorite place!

Staff is excellent, super friendly. Location is great, right in heart of Florence. Breakfast is okay.

Our room faced the street and the street noise goes until late in the night. Street is very touristy and there are many shops in both sides of the street. Bedrooms have the barely minimum - not charming or recently renovated.

Everything! Welcoming and responsive staff, amazing location and building, super comfortable room (bed, bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, good wifi, what am I forgetting...). The library/bar on the 1st floor is beautiful (that ceiling!) and you get a free drink voucher (didn't use it, there were not many people around). The terrace on the 3rd floor has a view of the Duomo. Airco worked perfectly. Restaurants, shops and sights are all nearby. Smallscale and elegant boutique hotel. Loved it!

It was very nice and clean, with great air conditioning! It was a great to escape the heat of the day from time to time. There was breakfast included and a bar that we unfortunately didn’t make it to. It was just a couple blocks from the Duomo and a Wine Window!

Location was good, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We got a free welcome drink which was a nice touch. The air conditioning worked well. The room was quite spacious, we had 2 bathrooms, one even had a bath. There is a small lift so you don’t need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Personale Top del Top,in particolare la Sign.ra Silvana alla reception, è stata Fantastica,ha una personalità amabile e coinvolgente, e mi ha fornito preziosissimi consigli ed informazioni sulla zona...cosa fare, dove andare e dove acquistare. The people were so helpful with recommendations and directions. The room was very comfortable and the location was great.

The only thing we didn't like was the amplified music in the square which our room faced. One night the performer was there until midnight. Too late!

Everything about this location was more than amazing! There were restaurants galore, shops, markets, beautiful churches and steps away from the beautiful Duomo. The location is in walking distance to both the train as well as the trams for easy additional travel in Florence. The staff was welcoming each and every day. They answered any questions we had. The room we stayed in was immaculate. We had coffee every morning on the terrace. So quiet and peaceful. The sunsets from our room's window each night were stunning. It was hot, hot, hot in Florence when we traveled. The AC was an addtional bonus!!! You will not be disapppointed!

The staff, especially Silvana, were incredibly helpful and made our stay at the hotel really comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Our rooms overlooked San Lorenzo Piazza and the Basilica. We woke up to the sounds of singing and music every day. The location was exceptional with every city attraction within a 15 minute walk. The very quaint library bar with the lovely Lorenzo at the helm was an additional treat. The hotel is a traditional old monastery and had retained its charm, so blending in with the city perfectly. Even though it is a little on the pricier side I would thoroughly recommend staying there if you are celebrating and event like we were.

If there was anything I would comment on it would be the bed. Being older adults we found the beds a little soft, however, very comfortable.

It was everything you could want. I came to celebrate my daughter’s 15th BDay… the staff left a card for her… gave us free drinks… Also, there is something special about knowing Leonardo Da Vinci lived at the property…

We loved the location of this hotel - it was right in the heart of Florence, which is what we wanted, as we were only there 2 nights. The staff was a pleasure to work with - very accommodating. We arrived early and they had 1 of the 3 rooms ready for us, so we were able to store our luggage in one room. The rooms were a great size! and the A/C worked really well. The 1st night they provided us with drink tickets - and we were able to enjoy some nice snacks and a glass of wine in their beautiful library. We were also able to leave our luggage with them on the last day as we explored Florence and caught a late train to Rome. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The location of this property couldn’t be better. The staff was so kind and helpful. The rooms were perfect.

While the rooms were perfect, our beds were a little hard. But that could just be preference.

The property was nice and historical. Lounge was excellent as well. Location was great for walking around city and was close to several cafes. Walking to train station with luggage was no issue as it was close. Every night had free music concert by local artist performing at nearby church area.

No dislikes to report. Enjoyed the trip.

Maria and the others welcomed us and were lovely. Enjoyed drinks in the Library, how fun! Enjoyed sitting in the courtyard to start the day. Loved proximity to the Market and Domo...cant wait to return and will definitely consider staying with you all again.

If there was a less favorable experience, it would be the street noise late at night. It made it hard to sleep with the windows open.

One of the best hotel experiences we've had. The location puts you right in the heart of Florence, within walking distance of everything that matters. The rooms are beautifully done — comfortable, well-appointed, and with real character. The staff were genuinely lovely and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. But the real highlight was breakfast: a spread of local, organic Florentine produce that felt nothing like a standard hotel buffet. You could taste the quality in everything. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Florence who wants the full experience, not just a place to sleep. Florence already has a way of staying with you — The Artists' Palace made sure we never wanted to leave.

We stayed as a family of 5 on our trip to Florence. Really friendly warm reception when we arrived rooms were clean and spacious with toiletries included. The building itself was a lovely old building with plenty of history situated in the square our breakfast was fabulous in a near by restaurant which we had included in our stay would definitely recommend if travelling to Florence .

The Artists’ Palace in Florence is inside a centuries old palace. Staying here is like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. The only downside is that the reception closes in the evening but there is an emergency phone number, and guests are provided instructions on hotel access. The decor of the Palace is beautiful and takes you back in time. The hotel is minutes from all major attractions and train station. The stay includes breakfast at a restaurant a few minutes away. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The Palace is recommended for its central location, comfortable accommodations, and helpful staff.

Throw in some free breakfast since the price was expensive per night. A better (bigger, more obvious) sign to identify/locate the hotel, as we walked past it every time. In the rain, it was frustrating walking past the hotel by accident.

Everything was perfect! The property checked on us after we landed in Rome and made sure we knew where to go. They answered every question with so much kindness! The location was PERFECT! You are right by all of the main sign seeing places and amazing food. I am 100% going to stay here again next time I am in Florence. Plus the beds were so comfortable and there are so many little gems throughout the building, like a balcony, library and amazing views!

Our stay in the artists palace Florence was lovely the building was so beautiful and the rooms were big and spacious looking out over the square. The staff was so friendly and very helpful I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

The location of this hotel can't be beat - right in the heart of the city, easy walking distance to all of the main sites and to the train station. The hotel itself is in a very unique building, which adds to the charm and old-city feel. We also had a lovely view from our room. The room itself was large and clean; no frills, though we did appreciate the water bottles. It was fairly noisy at night - you could hear all of the cars on the cobblestones through the older windows. Overall, I'd say this is a serviceable hotel for those prioritizing location and budget.

Fantastyczna lokalizacja, zabytkowy pałac ale nie czuć w nim było charakterystycznego dla tego typu budynków zapachu. Budynek, w którym jak się dowiedziałem na recepcji przez 9 miesięcy mieszkał sam Leonadro da Vinci to zdecydowanie dodatkowy smaczek.

Właściwie wszystko było tak jak powinno. Jedyny minus jaki jestem w stanie wymyślić to śniadania, kóre nie znajdują się w budynku tylko w restauracji oddalonej o jakieś 100 metrów. W związku z tym, że są to (jak się dowiedziałem) wymogi UNESCO trudno winić o to hotel także nie zaliczyłbym tego do minusów jeśli ktoś decyduje się na lokalizację w ścisłym centrum.
