Novotel London Canary Wharf

Lovely helpful staff from beginning to end and very accommodating. Allowed me early check-in at no extra cost and late check out instead of 12 it was 3 for a small fee. Very comfortable bed. Mostly clean room. And a lovely hotel to look at throughout. Amazing view

Our hotel room smelled like sewage, even with the bathroom door closed the smell was so unpleasant both my partner and I were gagging. The room in general is nice, just unfortunate about the stench.

Location is great. Short term walk to Canary Wharf Tube and Docklands Railway. Buses too. We ate at Bokan on the 37th floor. Great view and great food. Nice coffee shop on the ground floor.

The bathroom doors are a bit awkward. Double doors opening outwards. Very minor issue.

I was asked to provide proof that my daughter age 13 was my daughter with passport etc and didn’t know in advance so had a panic at reception. A good check for child safety but had I known before I would’ve taken her passport

Restaurant staff were unhelpful and it was very confusing trying to get a meal

Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf de kamer op verdieping 24. Er zijn helaas nieuwe torens in anbouw die het uitzicht drastisch zullen beperken! Kamer was zeer ruim en voorzien van fijne douche, koelkast en zeer sterke airco. Hotel had veel voorzieningen, waaronder een rooftop bar en een gym met zwembad in de kelder. Canary Wharf is op loopafstand, dus voldoende voorzieningen in de omgeving, en met de Jubillee metrolijn binnen 30 a 45 minuten in het centrum van London.

Hygiëne/staat van de kamer viel wat tegen. Het hotel is vrij nieuw, maar de kamer gaf een wat smoezelige/verpauperde indruk, denk daarbij aan kalkresten bij de douche, ramen di niet zijn gezeemd en krassen/vlekken op de muur. Het uitzicht zal binnenkort worden beperkt door nieuwe torens in aanbouw. Hoewel er op Canary Wharf veel voorzieningen zijn, raad ik aan om 's avonds in het centrum te eten.

The hotel room at first was presented very nicely. Very clean bedroom & comfortable bed. The change in quality was evident in the bathroom particularly the shower/wet room where we were met with a plethora of black mould along the grouting of the floor, water pan and window. It wasn’t a very pleasant experience showering in those conditions so I feel like that let it down majorly.

Location for O2

Rachel on reception was so lovely and friendly to me and my daughter. We just so happened to be upgraded to a lovely room also, room was clean and the pool was a great bonus. I would 100% recommend!

The hotel is very convenient, lots of cafes around within walking distance. Staff are friendly and professional. Will stay here again in the future.

The air-conditioning wasn't working however we were kindly upgraded to a terrace room by a lovely lady on reception, so we could keep the doors open.

The pictures i saw about the room was not i see again when i visited the room, because it was old than what i saw in the physcial than what i saw in the picture online during my book

my room was horrible very very noise from 36 floor our motivated employees tried to explain but only solution was to move in different room no option for "a WOMEN" with a lot of stuff, meetings, appointments got 2 complementary breakfast - THX - but no sleep is horrible stupid excuses drives me GRAZY - BUT the REst was super genious and I will recommend but shure NOT FLOOR 35

The friendly staff. The amenities. I arrived very early in the morning and I was given access to sauna, pool and shower. Free coffee from the restaurant. Snack boxes to take something for later from breakfast. Location great 👍 They have international chargers for sale for 5 pounds! Nothing was a problem for the staff, they were so kind...

Die Aussicht aus dem 38 Stock zum Super Frühstück ist unschlagbar! Meine Söhne hatten sich das Hotel gewünscht weil wir schon einmal da waren und es ist nach wie vor ein herausragender Ausblick in die Moderne... Die Mitarbeiter waren super nett, als abends die Restaurantküche ausfiel, gab es Tipps und Drinks extra, ein fantastisch kompetenter Barmann und freundlicher roomservice retteten den Abend!

Manches im Hotel ist zu cool um professionell zu sein, die Handtücher in der Dusche liegen noch verpackt auf dem Haufen, die Pool Bäder werden nicht oft sauber gemacht, es läuft Techno Musik überall, bei absurden Zimmerpreisen bekommt man keinen Bademantel... Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis fehlte nur manchmal die Größe zum Preis...

The property was perfectly located in central London and just walking distance from where we were going. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. The views from our room were amazing. Very comfortable bed and a lovely shower.

We love this location and come here for many of our celebrations. The roof is, of course, an asset to be able to sit up there, have a cocktail, and see the whole town underneath your eyeline

For us the kitchen wasn't open and there was no active bar up on the roof when we were there. We were on the day off, so to speak

Ci é particolarmente piaciuta la posizione dell'hotel nella zona di Canary Wharf vicina - peraltro - alla linea Jubelee della Metro. Camere ampie e ben arredate. Buona colazione con staff ( in sala ed in cucina) gentilissimo e disponibilissimo - Piccola piscina ma molto apprezzata e mai affollata.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und in den höheren Etagen hatte man eine sehr schöne Sicht auf ganz london

Très grande chambre, bien équipée. Hôtel très calme avec possibilité d'accéder à sauna, piscine et salle de gym sur un créneau très large. Station de métro proche, plusieurs restaurants et cafés à proximité si on ne veut pas utiliser ceux de l'hôtel. Egalement un supermarché Tesco pas très loin. Le bar au 38ème étage propose une offre de restauration avec un rapport qualité/prix correct et une très belle vue sur Londres. Personnel discret et efficace.

Seulement 3 transats à la piscine, certes en sous-sol, mais un peu juste à certains moments de la journée. Ce qui est surprenant, c'est la poussière qu'il peut y avoir dans cet hôtel (lampadaires à la réception, bordures des armoires dans les chambres, aération dans la salle de bain...) : inattendu pour un 4 étoiles. Mais peut être est-ce dû au chantier voisin ? L'éclairage au bar est très tamisé, avec presque des difficultés à voir ce que l'on a dans son assiette !

The view from our was amazing. The bed was super comfortable and huge. I really liked the frosted glass you can turn on and off. Also, there is a sauna and swimming room.

We’ve book the suite, the room space and design is nice- that's it.

We came in the hotel, asked where to check in because it was unclear the guy who’s managing stored luggage Saint it's here, waited there, other staff seeing us no one bothers to ask what you want not a simple welcome, staff on the lobby are all acting busy pretending not to see you. No welcome, not even a simple good morning what so ever- we had two television in our suite room but we can't even use a single one- they're using a cast app that doesn't work on apple phones. Good thing there was a speaker that kept us entertained somehow. Pool is so small- 5 people will make it very crowded. We ordered room service for breakfast but we had to call them to remind them we ordered. Overall the place is somehow nice but the staff brings the place down. Only the one who delivered food in our room seems to be the only one who understood customer service.

Honnêtement la seule critique pendant notre séjour dès notre arrivé il y avait un problème avec le lavabo de la salle de bain qui se boucher très vite avec une remonter d’odeur à chaque utilisation. Chambre 2804
