In the heart of old town Cartagena, the hotel is a little oasis. We had stayed in Getsemani for a couple of nights before and wanted to stay somewhere else in Cartagena which would be a comfortable and central base for exploring the whole of the city. The hotel definitely is that, with extremely friendly staff - from reception to the barman JP. We extended our booking for longer, as we changed our plans from staying in the Rosario Islas. Great value for money - both the types of rooms we booked - including a Suite and a Superior room, were both great.

Not really the hotel's fault, but the Suite we had, which was near the front of the building, was very noisy at night! Opposite the hotel's front door are a number of clubs which play loud music until the early hours of the morning. As our ensuite did not have a glass window (only shutters) the noise did travel. The other room we had was at the rear of the property and guests here did not hear any of this night-time music.... so if you want peace and quiet at night (before 3am!) then ask for a room at the back!

La decoración es muy bonita, y la iluminación es armoniosa, la azotea tiene bonita vista al atardecer. Su ubicación es perfecta. Si quieres ir y estar cerca de todo este hotel es increíblemente ideal. Gracias por el desayuno de mi último día (room service), lo especial que fueron esa mañana dejó una bonita experiencia. Aunque algunas inconsistencias se dieron, no castigaré el puntaje porque parte del personal sí fue muy amable y el room service mejoró mucho mi opinión.

Recepción: A nuestra llegada tarde noche del 17 de julio la persona que nos atendió me generó algo de estrés al indagarnos por los sellos de nuestros pasaportes, me sentí peor que en migración, lo peor es que el recepcionista o encargado que nos atendió no había visto bien donde estaba el sello de ingreso al País y tuve que señalárselo, y eso que el que necesita lentes para ver soy yo. Muy mal recibimiento y nos generó inseguridad el lugar por esa actitud recibida, digo qué clase de gente reciben ellos allí que se ponen en esos planes. Restaurante: El desayuno en el restaurante dos de las tres veces que fuimos era realmente un desayuno pobre, pan y frutas y algo de jugos. Habían recipientes vacíos sin productos o alimentos. Mantenimiento y limpieza. El baño tiene un cordón de guindar ropa mojada. Ese cordón está asquerosamente sucio como con hongos (cambien eso). Y la cortina de la ventana estaba sucia o manchada. Era una odisea tener jabón allí, recipientes casi vacíos siempre. Y el mueble del ropero tenía una gaveta dañada. La ventana de madera no cerraba bien las persianas de madera y tuvimos que poner una toalla ya que daba a las escaleras donde pasa todo el mundo y las cortinas son casi transparente (poca privacidad).

This place is the embodiment of Boutique Hotel perfection. Behind an unassuming door hides a garden, two swimming pools, rooftop bar with stellar views. The attention to detail, the design, you can spend hours admiring it all. My wife fell in love with the little house dress they give you instead of the robes. The reception desk is available 24/7, and it is easy to contact via WhatsApp, if needed. There's access to cold water throughout the day, which was much appreciated in the heat. Location is unbeatable, walkable to everything you possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast could be improved. It starts at 7 a.m., yet even at 7.45 a.m.it is still being set up, which is very inconvenient if you are pressed for time. Options are also very limited and it is unclear whether you can ask for an omelette or scrambled eggs; you kinda have to guess. The man in charge of breakfast is very unfriendly. I would say everyone at the hotel was very nice, except for him. We tried our best to connect and make friends with him, but were met with stony indifference and even annoyance. The hotel is on a busy street, so it can get noisy. We had a room on the ground floor, facing the street, and you could hear everything. My guess, if you get lucky and your room is higher up and facing the garden, it would be much more peaceful

Die Lage im historischen Zentrum von Cartagena ist einfach perfekt – alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, zahlreiche hervorragende Restaurants und tolle Shoppingmöglichkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch Getsemaní ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Ein absolutes Highlight sind die beiden wunderschönen Pools auf der Dachterrasse. Das Rooftop mit seinem traumhaften Blick über Cartagena lädt zum Entspannen ein, und an der Bar werden leckere Cocktails serviert – der perfekte Ort, um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Frühstück hat uns begeistert: ein reichhaltiges Buffet mit großer Auswahl und sehr guter Qualität. Insgesamt stimmt hier einfach alles. L’emplacement est parfait au cœur du centre historique. La chambre est spacieuse, joliment décorée et bien équipée. Les services proposés sont très bien : salle de sport, spa, deux piscines en rooftop (très agréable et la vue est superbe!) et un bar. Le petit déjeuner en buffet est bon.

Casa Diluca exceeded my expectations in every way! It is the perfect location and a short walk from everything, but a calm and quiet oasis. The rooms, courtyard, and common areas were spotless. The rooftop was better than any of the "hip" places with high, perfect views of the sunset and cute pool. Every morning the breakfast buffet is extensive, quiet, and personal. The owner was having her birthday party when I arrived, and I was asked to join and treated like family during my stay. This place truly embodies the warmth and hospitality of Colombia! It would be a perfect place for couples, solo travelers not interested in the party scene (I am 43 and traveling alone), or a family.

Die Lage ist Fluch und Segen zugleich. Es liegt im Zentrum, aber auch direkt neben Clubs und Bars. Bis morgens um 3 Uhr war die Musik der Clubs unüberhörbar. Preis Leistung hat nicht ganz gepasst.

The hotel offered a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The staff were helpful and attentive, and the location was convenient, close to the city center. The pool areas were pleasant and well-maintained, and the rooms were comfortable.

It is also worth noting that the hotel has many stairs, which may not suit all guests. Additionally, it is located next to several bars, so some noise at night should be expected. There was also a lack of soap in the room, and when it ran out, the young cleaner did not refill it. After we mentioned this, only a small amount of soap was provided for the shower and none for handwashing, which felt somewhat inattentive.

Beautiful property in an incredible location in Centro! We came here for my birthday celebration, and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and accommodating (English speaking), and the property itself clearly has been envisioned and decorated from a design perspective. There were so many curated details for an overall calm and luxurious aesthetic during the day, and it felt like a twinkling oasis at night. The view from the rooftop pool was superb with a direct view of the iconic clock tower, and there is any area for both shade and sun to lounge at, as well as a bar. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with so many thoughtful touches from made-to-order hot food, fresh bread, and fresh-pressed juice from their in-house chef to the detailed presentation of the buffet and dining area. The boutique is stocked with local Colombian artisanal goods and brand name items, and there is a small gym as well. Not least, the location was in the heart of Centro, in a busy and safe area with tons of restaurants, shops, and bars nearby, yet quiet inside. We were so thankful to Nixon the concierge for upgrading our room to a giant space with high ceilings when we extended our stay. The beds were insanely comfortable and we liked the naturally sourced products provided. We also appreciated that the concierge is available via text to help with anything you need at the hotel or to help with bookings at restaurants, beach clubs, or other things you might need during your stay. Overall, we loved this property and definitely come back!

For us the stairs were great exercise, but I would caution anyone with mobility issues that the dining area and pool are only accessible by stairs. I would like to mention, in case it is a concern, that luggage is not an issue, as the staff brings it up to your room if you aren't located on the ground floor. Our first room on the ground floor was also spacious, but was lacking in natural light, although there was enough artificial light.

The breakfast was exceptional. Having freshly-baked pastries each morning was truly special, and everything was delicious. Every single staff member was very friendly and warm. The rooftop pool and bar were heavenly.

There wasn't dedicated service at the bar so there was a bit of a wait, but there were also few or no other guests in the pool while we were there, so it really was unnecessary. When they were present they were excellent

Solo female. Hotel is beautiful, the rooftop pool was amazing in the hot afternoons. Room and bathroom was huge. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was 10/10, easy to walk everywhere including to Getsemeni. Felt very safe in this hotel. My only issue is there is a night club close by and some nights the music was very loud. An issue If you’re a very light sleeper. But, likely have similar issues at most boutique hotels right in the centre. Regardless, I would stay here again!

We loved absolutely everything about this property we could not have asked for more during our stay. The hotel is beautiful, clean, in a great location (perfect for attending a wedding a few doors along) with all the facilities you could want. Our pool and rooftop were the envy of all our friends staying in other hotels. The room was air conditioned and the bed so comfortable it was difficult to leave in the morning! I also made use of the fitness facilities which exceeded what I was expecting. The staff were also exceptional and could not do enough for us. We would certainly return and recommend.

Nous avons reçu une des deux chambres au rez -de -chaussée, près de la réception. Dès l’ouverture de la porte nous avons senti une odeur de moisissures liée à l’humidité . Nous avons essayé d’ouvrir la fenêtre mais elle est condamnée car elle donne sur la rue qui est bruyante. J’ai demandé immédiatement une autre chambre mais ça n’a pas été possible l’hôtel était complet d’après le réceptionniste. Nous sommes allés nous promener en ville et pendant ce temps il ont mis un “ purificateur d’air ou déshumidificateur” dans la chambre… mais rien n’y a fait. La nuit a été horrible. Non seulement la chambre était malodorante mais le bruit de la boîte de nuit voisine nous a incommodé jusqu’à 3h du matin. Les deux épaisseurs de double vitrage ne suffisaient pas! Les vibrations des basses se transmettent par le sol jusque dans nos tympans! On n’a pu s’endormir qu’après 3h!

Great breakfast, lovely pool area, good selection of weights / equipment in small gym - including little pots of nuts and dried fruits. Bed was super comfy. Humidifier, air con, fridge, safe and hot water in rooms. I’ve been to Cartagena many times and this was my favourite hotel by far.

Minor point - would be good to have towels / wet wipes in gym area Was a bit noisy late in the evening but with the white noise of the humidifier and air con, I barely heard it. But that isn’t the hotel’s fault either - just cos of central location

La habitación deluxe es hermosa muy amplia no se escucha nada de ruido de la calle y l baño súper grande y bien decorada, la cama es súper cómoda 10/10

El lugar donde está ubicado realmente si es de mucha bulla, yo elegí habitación deluxe que es bien interna y no se escuchaba nada de bulla, también que en la zona de la piscina debería ser con música y en la noche tener bar disponible e iluminado.

Quiero manifestar que mi estancia en Cartagena fue realmente muy placentera, y que me siento profundamente complacida con el hotel, no solo por su infraestructura, decoración y cada detalle que lo hacen un lugar excelente, sino, sobre todo, por la calidez humana de su personal. Me encontré con personas genuinas, amables, cercanas y profundamente humanas, que lograron que me sintiera verdaderamente como en casa. Mis más sinceras felicitaciones para Richard, el bartender, por su excelente atención; para Carolina, quien me atendió con tanta dedicación y cariño; para Jay, siempre atento y cordial; y para Alfredo, el chef, cuya cocina fue simplemente espectacular e impecable. Gracias por hacer de esta experiencia algo tan especial. Sin duda, un lugar al que dan ganas de volver.

This was an oasis in the center of the walled city. The rooms and facilities were gorgeous and I pretty much lived at the pool. A comfortable bed to plop into at the end of the day and the AC was strong!!

The room has a window, but you cannot open it, as it looks towards the court, where A/C boxes are, snd where people are passing to get to their room. You need to climb 50 stairs to get to the breakfast room, and additional 20 to the rooftop. For us it was fine, but some guests would not appreciate it. TV didn't work, but we didn't watch ut anyway. The biggest issues for us was, that the hotel charged our credit card twice for the entire stay. It took us nearly 2 months to get the money back, after several calls/ mails/ messages with the property and booking platform. Very annoying.

El hotel es hermoso, no se puede negar que cada espacio está pensado y diseñado para que sea confortable y muy estético. El personal del desayuno y la recepción unos amorosos.

Sinceramente no hubiese dejado nunca una calificación negativa de no haber sido por que el día antes de irnos alguien metió la mano en nuestras cosas y nos robaron dinero. Hablé con el personal del hotel y Ana me dijo que tras varias “investigaciones” no habían dado con el ladrón por lo que la devolución nunca estuvo como posibilidad. Lamentablemente fue una lástima terminar el viaje así, pero insistieron con que nosotras habíamos perdido el dinero o lo habíamos gastado cuando teníamos muy claro donde estaba guardado y cuánto era. La verdad que quemarte así cuando es un hotel de lujo en Cartagena me parece de cuarta. Me fui muy decepcionada, no me esperaba una reacción así desde un hotel que se supone que ofrece lujo y confort.
