Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour. Dominique nous a très bien accueillis et nous a très bien conseillés pour les restaurants et les activités. C'était un grand plus. On note également la serviabilité d'Îmãd, avec qui nous avons notamment fait une excursion dans son village dans les montagnes de l'Atlas. Un grand merci. Un grand merci également à Bouchra pour la cuisine, c'était excellent ! Nous recommandons vivement.

Il Riad è spettacolare! E' proprio tipico marocchino! Rispetto alle foto di altri riad che ho visto durante la mia scelta ho visto che era proprio più "rustico" , ne ho valutati anche altri ma sembravano decisamente più moderni ed è stato proprio questo che mi è piaciuto molto e che ha influito nella scelta! Ogni angolo era ricco di oggetti che creavano molta atmosfera e questa cosa l'ho apprezzata particolarmente. La ns suite poi era veramente adorabile! dai mobili, ai soffitti....tutto straordinario! Per quanto riguarda i servizi offerti noi avevamo solo la colazione e anche questa era strepitosa! abbondante e buonissima, ovviamente tipica marocchina. Che dire della titolare Dominique e del suo staff? persone adorabili! Dominique, simpatica super disponibile subito ci ha dato tutte le dritte per girare la città, con consigli sui luoghi da visitare, dove mangiare e come spostarci, il resto del personale altrettanto adorabile e disponibile, sempre carini e gentili, ci hanno offerto il loro meraviglioso the alla menta tutte le volte che ci vedevano seduti nelle aree comuni del riad anche solo per rilassarci o aspettare gli altri membri della famiglia. Devo dire che è stata un'esperienza fantastica.....raccomando questo Riad a chiunque voglia soggiornare a Marrakech e respirare la vera aria marocchina!

Wij konden iedere ochtend ontbijten op dakterras. Het was een lekker ontbijtje met o.a. zelfgemaakte Marokaanse pannenkoeken en yoghurt. Wij moesten op dagtrip de tweede dag en ik vroeg of wij iets vroeger konden ontbijten en dit werd onmiddellijk geregeld. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en vroeg ons overdag vaak of we nog iets nodig hadden of als we dorst of honger hadden. Dat was aangenaam! De locatie vond ik eigenlijk zeer goed. Het steegje/straatje van de riad is niet eng 's avonds. Eerst vonden we de riad niet maar toen kwam onmiddellijk personeel naar buiten om ons te helpen! Ook de eigenares Dominique was aanwezig en ze was heel vriendelijk! Ze doet dit heel goed. De riad is dan ook prachtig vormgegeven door haar. Ze heeft een goede stijl! Het zwembad is heel aangenaam om een frisse duik in te nemen. Het was ook fris water, in tegenstelling tot ander riads die dan een verwarmd zwembad hebben, wat minder leuk is als het al warm is buiten! Dus zeker een fris pluspunt. Het is ook supergezellig dat er huisdieren zijn (de kat en de schildpad), dat maakt het echt huiselijk. Wij hebben zeker een leuke ervaring gehad hier.

The riad is absolutely beautiful and has been designed and furnished with incredible attention to detail. Every corner reflects the care and passion that has gone into creating this special place. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, always ready to help and offering valuable tips and recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt very well looked after and would gladly stay here again

Absolutely beautiful property, beautiful square and pool alongside amazing traditional features- it was breathtaking and I couldn’t recommend enough. The location was perfect, a little further away from the main square (only around 15-20 mins walk) and less touristic- a perfect walk through the souks and countless fantastic options to eat within 15 mins walk. Dominique was so lovely and welcoming and a huge help in terms of educating us on directions as soon as we arrived, tips for the city etc- The rest of the staff were also so kind and helpful. The lunch was also delicious! Definitely worth trying. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever and would visit again in a heartbeat or recommend to anyone else.

Nothing to complain about at all. I would recommend to book the airport transfer via Dominique as it would be very confusing trying to navigate yourself. As a heads up your taxi will stop a little before the Riad and you will be helped with your bags through the centre of the medina as it is impossible to drive on these streets; we actually really enjoyed this as it gave a taste for the atmosphere of the medina before arriving and was an exciting experience.

Tolles ruhiges Riad innerhalb der Medina. Kurze Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Marrakesch. Frühstück und relaxen auf der Terrasse mit Blick über Marrakesch ist super schön. Perfekt für den Sonnenuntergang. Super freundliches Personal, das tolle Tipps für Restaurants, auch Streetfood gibt und uns den Transfer zum Flughafen organisiert hat. War spitze.

Alles super, wie gewünscht und erhofft.

Bien placé, propre, très charmant notamment l’îlot de verdure. Très bons repas également.

Das Riad ist eine schöne, ruhige Oase im quirligen Marrakesch. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit dort. Dominique war sehr gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Und auch sonst: sehr freundliche Menschen und eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Das Riad ist traditionell und dabei sehr geschmackvoll mit hübschen Details (ohne Überfrachtung) eingerichtet/ausgestattet, hat einen schönen Innenhof und von der Dachterasse bis zur Bibliothek gibt es weitere Möglichkeiten zum Ausruhen. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, dort abends zu essen. Das traditionelle Couscous war ganz ausgezeichnet. Ein Sternchen auch für den Hamam direkt im Haus.

Eine kleine Anregung: Das traditionelle Frühstück war lecker, wir hätten uns jedoch über etwas mehr Abwechslung gefreut. M ehr Obst und mal eine andere Marmelade sowie die Info am 1.Tag, dass wir Eierspeisen bestellen können.

Otroligt fin, mysig byggnad med vacker inredning, konst och detaljer, härlig grönska. Dominique och all personal på riad är väldigt trevliga och välkomnande. Vi är nöjda med servicen, frukosten, transfer, hammam, massage och en god middag.

Uniquely beautiful and memorable old Morocco home. Proprietor and staff go out of their way to help you with local suggestions and prepare delicious Moroccan meals on request. Amazingly charming. peaceful, and atmospheric property in the car-free heart of the medina. Useful to ask the riad to arrange your taxi from airport or train station on arrival so you have a guide and help with luggage to their front door.

Many of the unique rooms require climbing stairs.

Dominique is a wonderful host, and we absolutely loved our stay at Riad Dombaraka. It was the best Riad in the whole 2 weeks we spent in Morocco, in Marrakesh, Fes, Rabat and Casablanca. The location is a 10 minute walk from a taxi drop off point, and very close to the souks and sights. We enjoyed a delicious meal on our first night, and would highly recommend it at least once during your stay. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The Moroccan crepes were the best we ate. We were lucky enough to have the family suite with 2 separate bedrooms and bathroom. We also had our own terrace with furniture and wonderful views. The Riad garden is delightful with orange trees and even a tortoise called Saliha. Cafe Merstan nearby had the best Pastilla in Morocco. Dominique can arrange a guide to take you around the city on your first outing which was very helpful and put us at ease for the rest of the holiday. The taxi she arranged from the airport was also good. We were very sad to leave, and I would highly recommend and stay with Dominique.

If it hadn’t been for this riad, our stay in Marrakech wouldn’t have been so wonderful!

Beautifully designed and kept, very friendly staff and great location in the medina. We had an issue with out door key and the staff were very proactive to help. The host also took the time to explain recommendations and check in regularly.

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit einer eigenen Veranda und einer Möblierung im traditionellen Stil (mit einem komfortablen Doppelbett).

Lovely cat and orange tree at the property. The male host during the second half of our stay was really helpful and friendly.

The male host during the first night of our stay was ungrateful when we offered a tip and was overall disgruntled with the owner. Incorrect photos associated with room types and the owner insisted that wasn’t the case. Smelly bathroom. Overpriced transfer and no willingness to simply provide a map or add the riad on Google Maps to allow guests to arrive by their own means instead of having to book the transfer through the riad. The owner was more interested in making sure we leave a review than asking about our overall experience upon departure.

We left immediately after serious safety incident.

Serious safety concern with the on-site hammam. During a scrub/wash service, the male attendant put his hand inside the disposable underwear and touched my genitals without my consent (the second time involved fondling). I told him to keep his hands outside and we left immediately and checked out early. We reported this to the owner. In front of my wife, the owner asked us not to contact Booking.com and initially said the staff member would be removed/dismissed. She later minimised the incident and reversed that position, and would not confirm protective measures in writing. The owner told us we ‘weren’t used to hammams’ and minimised it as an etiquette issue. I have visited many hammams / massage places, and have never had my genitals touched repeatedly without consent. We paid for the two nights we stayed. Given how the incident was handled and later minimised, I recommend future guests exercise caution with on-site services and any situation where you could be alone with staff.

L'accueil était chaleureux dès notre arrivée. La gentillesse des employés et de Dominik tout au long du séjour était top, ils étaient toujours présents pour toute question. Elle nous a donné beaucoup de conseils ce qui nous à été très bénéfique. Le Riad était très joli, convivial et bien aménagé. La chambre était grande et agréable. Le hammam et le massage sont supers, c'est une chose que je recommande! Bonne position du Riad au centre de la Médina, facile pour rentrer le soir et se repérer dans toutes les petites rues.

L'unique chose qui nous a un peu déplu, est le fait de ne pas pouvoir régler nos frais par carte au Riad. Par exemple les taxes de séjour, les frais du hammam et massage ou alors encore des frais d'excursion dans le désert. Nous avons du par conséquent aller retirer du cash et ce n'est pas la meilleure des idées au Maroc. Nous pensions qu'à l'hôtel il y aurait quand même cette possibilité de paiement par carte! Sinon une dernière chose que nous avons noté, est que la pression de l'eau à la douche était faible et donc pas forcément très agréable surtout avec des cheveux longs!

Espectacular, precioso, tranquilo y recóndito riad, propio de un viajero del siglo XIX (por su ubicación no llegan los taxis a la puerta, lo que ocurre con cierta frecuencia en alojamientos dentro de la medina). Cama muy cómoda. Preciosa decoración, con puertas y muebles de madera pintados. Fueron muy amables al ponernos desayuno el día de nuestra salida muy temprana del alojamiento.

Aunque sea destacable la amabilidad de todo el personal y de Dominique, dado el precio del riad, esperaba más atenciones tanto en el desayuno (aunque estaba rico y recién hecho, era básico y siempre el mismo: a veces ponen algo de fruta, no ofrecen huevos ni tortilla, pedid e insistid en la leche vegetal si la necesitáis), como en el baño (sólo jabón de manos, gel y champú).

L'accueil de Dominique est exceptionnel, gentillesse et compétence sont les mots qui guident sont accueil A l'arrivée un copieux petit déjeuner nous a été servi , petit déj au cours duquel Dominique nous a expliqué tout ce que nous devions savoir pour que notre séjour soit réussi S'agissant de son riad : tout est élégance, raffinement digne d'un conte des mille et une nuit. Il est situé dans un derb (rue) calme qui fait abstraction du bruit ambiant de Marrakech Bref, un riad dans lequel nous nous sommes sentis très bien. Par ailleurs Dominique possède une maison à Essaouira ville dans laquelle nous avons passé une nuit, avec le même accueil de la part de la personne qu'elle emploie : chaleureux et serviable. .nous avons hâte de revenir au riad Dombaraka. .nous conseillons.fortement cet endroit.

Since the first sip of welcoming tea, everything was perfect. The staff is incredibly kind and happy to help with everything to make your stay problem-free. Every corner of the riad is designed with every detail in mind and filled with gorgeous handcrafted items to nurture your eyes with beauty. The location is also perfect for reaching everything by foot or getting close to a taxi.

Idéalement situé au cœur de la médina, dans une rue au calme, ce riad est magnifique et décoré avec goût. Dominique, la propriétaire nous a très bien accueillies et a été aux petits soins pour nous. Le personnel est tout aussi gentil. Merci pour tout.

L'arredamento stupendo curato nei minimi particolari, gli spazi esterni, terrazze, angoli di lettura, giardino meraviglioso con alberi di arancio che arrivavano fino al balcone delle nostre stanze e profumavano ovunque! Colazione in terrazza, sia al coperto che all'aperto, ottima (un elogio particolare allo yogurt!) e varia, spazio ulteriore per lettini relax veramente molto molto apprezzati.

Tolle Lage, sehr authentisch renoviertes Riad, schöne Details. Das Personal sehr höflich und professionell, sehr gutes Englisch. Die Eigentümerin ist selbst meist vor Ort, was sich extrem positiv auswirkt.

Wenig bis gar nichts daran auszusetzen. Etwas mehr Variation beim Frühstück wäre nett, allerdings wird alles notwendige und übliche für Marokko serviert. Zumindest auf die zusätzlichen Möglichkeiten (Omelett etc.) hinzuweisen wäre sicher kein Fehler.

Peaceful riad in great location just 10 minutes walk from some big attractions, you feel fully immersed in the medina. The young guys who work here were faultless with looking after us. Super attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

We had a difficult check-in with Dominique having booked a three double bed bedroom suite with a private outdoor terrace. We’d seen the photos on Booking.com and booked this specific suite. However within minutes of arrival Dominique informed us she had a problem, there was a party of four coming to stay in the suite we’d booked so she’d moved us to a one bedroom room. We disputed this as it was a much cheaper room. There was much debate with Dominic insisting it wasn’t her fault…We had no choice but to compromise and take a smaller suite with no private outdoor space. It did not match the description on Booking.com at all. Dominique did offer a token gesture as a form of compensation (approx £60). Breakfast was very basic, just breads, jams and yoghurt.

Perfect location with a wonderful host/owner Dominique. Dominique gave us so much fantastic information that really helped us maximise our enjoyment of Marrakesh. Tip....take the taxi the Riad offers from the airport, it makes finding the Riad for the first time easy.

Highly recommended! The staff at the Riad were friendly and always available to accommodate all our requests. Breakfast is served from around 8:00 in the morning and is brought directly to your table on the terrace. The breakfast is simple but made with fresh products. The space is very quiet, once you enter the Riad, you no longer feel the chaos of the city. A magical place!

Das Riad liegt genial zentral und ist nach dem Besuch der Souks ein kleines Paradies! Dominique hat es mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert. Es ist eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre auch mit den netten Mitarbeitern, die sich zu jederzeit sehr bemüht haben. Man kann dort sehr lecker mit anderen Gästen Abendessen, das Frühstück wird oben auf der Dachterrasse serviert. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es Nachts total still! Auch das Hamam inklusive Massage bei Simon haben wir sehr genossen. Mitarbeiter Imad hat für uns einen wunderschönen und sehr interessanten Ausflug in seinen Herkunftsort, einem Berberdorf, im Atlas Gebirge organisiert. Wir waren eine ganze Woche im Dombaraka und haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen und würden sofort wieder bei Dominique buchen!

Un accueil de qualité avec un service irréprochable. Un établissement que je conseille vivement. Merci encore pour ce séjour mémorable.

Das Riad ist wunderschön, kaum ist die Tür zur Straße zu, ist man in einer kleinen Oase angekommen! Das ganze Team ist top! Dominique ist eine tolle Gastheberin, Lahcen ein super allrounder, immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht und extrem bemüht und professionell! Der junge Mann, der für das Hammam&Massage zuständig ist, gilt es auch hervorzuheben! Wir haben als Ehepaar das Hammam gebucht und sind so froh um diese Möglichkeit - wir waren wie neu (das öffentliche Hammam ist keine Option für uns gewesen). Das Abendessen war ein Traum, und auch das Frühstück samt Hauskatze auf der Terrasse einfach top.

Beau riad au calme en plein cœur de la médina. Dominique, la propriétaire est de très bons conseils, organise le transfert vers l'aéroport, très appréciable et nous accompagne jusqu'au taxi. Son équipe est très accueillante également ainsi que la chatte et la tortue.

Regret d avoir raté le petit déjeuner car départ très tôt pour l'aéroport.

De Riad ligt heel centraal middenin de Medina. Goed ontbijt op het dakterras in de ochtendzon. De haman bij het verblijf was fantastisch. En één van de personeelsleden heeft ons meegenomen naar zijn Berberdorp in het Atlasgebergte, dit was ook een hoogtepunt van onze vakantie.

We hebben één keer in de Riad gegeten, dat viel wat tegen.

Small confusion about the time of breakfast but nothing we couldn’t figure out

Everything was wonderful… Dominique organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport and take directly to the Riad. We were given tea and coffee on arrival and the same attentiveness and care and consideration was shown to us at all times by Dominique and her staff…all lovely and extremely helpful. The suite we stayed in was truly beautiful, an oasis away from the hustle and bustle outside. The breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful dining are with a log fire burning ( it was surprisingly cold, we were unfortunate with the weather) Nothing was an inconvenience for them, we were even allowed to stay in our suite way beyond our check out time ( we had a late flight home) at no extra cost and once again, with wonderful hospitality. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement au cœur de Marrakech (tout est accessible à pied). La gentillesse et la réactivité du personnel. Les décorations typiques. L’excursion proposée par le guide local était une super expérience.

I liked everything..

Bra läge mitt i soukhen men ändå väldigt lugnt och tyst. Jättetrevlig personal med bra bemötande.

Vi fick byta rum men kompenserades med ett större och bättre rum. Det var lite kallt i frukostmatsalen.

The breakfast was very fresh and made as we ordered and had locally made yoghurt, croissants, and jams and loads of coffee. Perfect start to the day.

All was wonderful, great rooms, central location, super breakfast and the staff were great and a big thank you to, Imad, Laschen, Bukhura the wonderful chef......in fact all the staff. were terrific.

Fantastic setting that really felt like a home. Very close to everything in the centre, but very peaceful. We stayed in an excellent historic room. The bed linen was the MOST comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and Dominique the owner is lovely. I broke my bag and they were great in getting it to a local guy to fix for €2. The Hammam onsite was a fantastic experience.

È la seconda volta che soggiorniamo in questo riad e credo torneremo anche una terza; è come essere immersi in una favola dalla quale non ci si vorrebbe più svegliare. Pulizia impeccabile, Dominique e lo staff gentilissimi e premurosi. La stanza è sempre profumata e splendente. Impagabile fare colazione nella veranda sul tetto.

Ein wunderschönes Riad in der lebendigen Altstadt. Die Anlage hat viele Bereiche für sonnige und schattige Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist, geschmackvoll und authentisch eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Dominique und das Personal sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Wir hatten 4 wunderbare Tage im Riad Dombaraka.

The breakfast. Always the same and fairly basic, only sweet things. At least coffee should be good for the first one in the morning...

Dominique and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Dominique organised a taxi for us from a different hotel to the Riad which made getting there easier as you and your luggage are escorted to the Riad. This saved us a lot of stress when we under a time pressure to get to a tour. She also drew us a great map of the Medina which helped a lot. The riad was peaceful and beautiful and we had a very tasty meal there one evening with nice wine.

A warm welcome with mint tea in the lush courtyard garden, surrounded by beautiful architecture and furnishings, and the most gracious host and staff offering excellent friendly service, assistance and advice.

Un joli dar entretenu par Dominique et son équipe bien situé. Très bon accueil, grande chambre (l'africaine) avec une bonne literie et une grande salle de bain. Bibliothèque, petites alcôves, eau filtrée à disposition, service de carrossa + taxi géré par le Riad. Bon petit déjeuner sur la belle terrasse, au doux soleil d'automne. Chaises longues pour se prélasser à disposition sous l'oeil du chat de la maison.

Devant ce quasi sans faute, le seul (petit) bémol concerne le café filtre du matin, pas forcément au goût des amateurs de café et des nombreux italiens présents en même temps que nous. Pour le reste, c'était parfait !

Nagyon tetszett a berendezés, a kialakítás. Az első emeleten voltunk a szoba hatalmas volt, és csendes, a belső udvarra nézett. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes volt. Dominique a házigazda mindent megtett annak érdekében hogy a legjobban érezzük magunkat. Minden fontos információval ellátott minket, elintézte az autó bérletet tanácsokat adott Marakes felfedezésével kapcsolatban. A sajat hamamjaban a gyengéd masszázs is jó volt.

The host was very friendly, they organised a taxi to take us from the airport and also we had dinner there the 1st night. We also had to leave early so they organised an early breakfast for us. Very helpful and the place was beautiful, very comfy bed, lovely and quiet. It was lovely to have breakfast up on the roof terrace

Einfach alles! Wir haben im Hotel gegessen und konnten dabei sogar kostenslos (auf Trinkgeldbasis) einen Kochkurs machen, das war sehr spannend! Auch die Massage (+ Hammam), die neu im Angebot sind, sind super! Dominique war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sowie die Angestellten. Der Transport vom Flughafen zum Hotel empfehlen wir auch, da das Riad mitten im Zentrum ist.

The welcome from Dominique was lovely. She is so helpful in giving good tips for restaurants and activities. The staff are lovely and helpful too, which creates a lovely vibe at the riad. It is an absolute haven, with comfy beds leading to a wonderful night's sleep. The breakfast each day included homemade bread and different Moroccan fruit juices. There are lots of comfortable places to relax in the riad, and there are amazing views from the rooftop terrace. The hammam at the riad is a must too!

Le cadre est tout simplement exceptionnel, plein de charme et de sérénité. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et très copieux, les repas authentiques et savoureux. Le hammam est magnifique et le massage d’une grande qualité — un vrai moment de détente. Dominique, l’hôte, est chaleureuse, attentionnée et donne d’excellents conseils pour découvrir Marrakech Marie et Robert

Tolle Gastgeberin, die immer gute Tipps für die Stadt hat. Extrem hilfsbereites und aufmerksames Personal (englisch- und französischsprachig). Neu im Angebot ein Spa-Bereich (Massage und Hammam). Wir haben im Riad einen Kochkurs gemacht und anschließend in großer Runde gemeinsam gegessen.

Véritable havre de paix. Riad super bien situé dans la médina. Super accueil par Dominique qui est une personne très sympathique et qui vous fait passer un agréable séjour. Très bon petit déjeuner chambres spacieuses et confortable. Le personnel est au petit soin pour les clients. Nous recommandons ce riad
