Good Hotel London

I had a really good and comfortable stay at the Good Hotel London. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was stylish, modern, and very clean.

The only downside for me was that the room didn’t have a window, which made it feel a little claustrophobic at times. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and found it to be a comfortable and pleasant experience.

The food at the hotel could be better. I ordered a steak the 1st night which cost me £32 and I couldn't eat it. Not the best steak I've had in life.

The location was very good. Everything with Underground Transport accessable. The area was beautiful. The view from the hotel was really nice.

Lovely contemporary hotel on a converted barge, floating on the water near Custom House on the Elizabeth Line. Very close to restaurants and food outlets nearby. Also close to the Excel centre, 02 and City Airport.

The room was very small. However, you have to remember it's a converted barge so not disimilar to being on a ship! Still great value though considering the lovely contemporary hotel design, excellent breakfast and lovely location on the water. The staff were really kindl and organises a surprise 2 mini bottles of fizz & a gold 'Yay' sign in our room for our 20 year wedding anniversary. Also a night's stay pays for a week of schooling for a child in Guatamala!

Such a cool placement, sitting like a boat on the docks. The story behind the hotel is also interesting and inspiring and an ethical cause. We loved watching the birds out over the water by the window at breakfast. Decent value for money in the location (we were there for a wedding near Greenwich). Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was amazing, we lucked out on weather and it felt a bit like Los Angeles, drinking vermouth spritzes looking out at the lights. Great view! Loved getting a cable car home from dinner in Canary Wharf. Breakfast was better than expected- fresh fruit, granola, non-dairy options, hot food too and coffee was very good for machine coffee!

Room was pretty tight for two people, though we expected this for the price. Just banged a few elbows until we got used to it! Shower could have done with a ledge to avoid bathroom floor getting wet.

We had a great 5 day stay here for work! The staff were all lovely, there was a great breakfast and the entire place is very modern!

We chose the double room, which is the smallest room. It's very cosy but we weren't spending much time in the room so we didn't mind! If you care about the room size I would choose one of the larger ones.

Less than 10 min walk to the Excel arena and Elizabeth line. Clean, compact room.

Breakfast was amazing - English breakfast, plus all continental foods; of very good quality. The ethos; the hotel funds schools in Guatemala and has a fabulous founding history entwined with this. The staff were, each and everyone, extremely friendly, approachable, courteous, helpful and kind, as well as, very courteous and quick to resolve when met with a complaint. Excellent location for the O2; cable car practically on your door. Train station quick 10min walk. Plenty of food options on your doorstep; Tesco express directly across the road from the hotel. Train direct from LHR airport.

Our room didn’t have a window - I do love fresh air and while it was still perfect, clean, fresh (noT stuffy), it would be nice to have the option. The room was quiet warm in the mornings after 10am, there is air con however, but you need to call reception to get it turned on. They were very quick however once reception called.

Smooth check-in process, super friendly and accommodating staff, and a great sense of welcoming and inclusion. Loved my room, if a bit small.

They had European plugs that was great, they have an amazing business-purpose, every stay there donates to children in Guatemala, and the rooms are super cozy and warm.

The room as much bigger than expected, with a really comfortable bed. Despite having no window the glass feature made it feel airy and spacious.

The bathroom could do with more shelves/sides for bottles, make up etc. But other than that the room exceeded expectations.

Hotel má výbornú lokalitu, veľmi milý a ochotný personál a všade bolo čisto. Izba bola veľmi dobre vybavená a počas celého pobytu sme sa cítili pohodlne. Toto ubytovanie môžem určite odporučiť.

The location was perfect for the show we attended in the 02 indigo set in the dock with the cable cars just next door. The train (Elizabeth line) dropped us a short walk away at the Excel centre and it's a just up from there. Breakfast was self service with a great selection of hot and cold food. We would definitely stay here again.

The room is cool but it's a tad on the small side and fine for a couple but that's all. No tv in the room either which we weren't bothered about but I know people like to have one.

No me gustó que el primer dia volvimos al hotel a las 16:00 y aun no habian limpiado la habitacion. Al dia siguiente si estaba hecha ya pero la cama no estaba muy bien hecha.

I feel I was not made aware that I would be directly under a flight path. I also requested a twin room but received a double. Why offer tea/coffee but no milk? Bathrooms was TINY.

No TV, staff not the friendliest. Holding deposit took ages to come back. Quiet noisy if you have a room that backs onto the road as I did.

It was smelly rooms were dusty shower was tiny and I mean tiny no tvs and the rooms are like a tiny box and anyone can walk in off the street to use toilets didn’t feel safe do not book

There was a problem with the room and the staff responded very quickly and efficiently.

Not for light sleepers: the walls are very thin so you can easily hear the people around you.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Nice calm views from the rooftop bar.

The bathroom was very small and awkward. The room is also small and no storage space. I didn't like the dolls left on my bed. I think the rooftop bar should close later than 9pm with good weather. 9pm is so early.

The doors of the bathrooms in the rooms don’t lock because it doubles as the actual shower door as well, which we found a bit odd. But other than that it was amazing.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and wonderfully cool with excellent air conditioning, which was especially appreciated on such a hot day. We were very grateful for the room we were given. The drinks and snacks were fantastic and the service was excellent. The view from the downstairs area was beautiful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The only improvement I would suggest is cleaning the windows more regularly, particularly as the beautiful view is such an important part of the hotel. Some of the windows were quite dirty, so we moved to another table where we could enjoy the view through a cleaner window and a few small additions in the room, a decaffeinated coffee and perhaps a complimentary bottle of water.

Bathroom doesn’t have much privacy, which may be an issue for some. Our double bed was two singles pushed together which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable as they would keep moving apart

The staff were excellent and friendly. The breakfast was good. They were security conscious and the lift heeded the room key card.

It is located within 5-10 walking distance from the metro (DLR & Elizabeth). Breakfast is available.

There is no wall outlet in the bathroom so it is impossible to plug a hair dryer. Due to the short cord, it was difficult to use it in the room (in front of the mirror). The room does not have a TVset. The walls are very thin, so there is a lot of noise. Coffee at breakfast time is just coloured water.
