The elevator situation with sharing the parking garage was a little inconvenient. We had to bake in 15 everytime we went anywhere to be able to get off of the 7th floor.

Cleanliness, wonderful views and great restaurant service

In the heart of downtown, I was actually surprised at how nice the hotel was. Very modern, well-appointed, and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant was serviceable-to-good with amazing views over downtown.

Warning: downtown Asheville is surprisingly loud and could really use some noise abatement ordinances. There was a constant parade of motors (and very loud motorcycles) and EMT sirens until very well past midnight flooding the hotel's soundscape. Did not like that at all. Sadly, espressos ordered at breakfast arrived cold (probably poured into cold cups, not the waiter's fault). Espresso on second order was cold. Someone needs to warm the cups.

Every thing was amazing

Nice, modernly simplistic which I think is what a lot of properties are going for now. Room nice good space, places to sit and places to your stuff. staff friendly and pleasant. Bfast was good and waitstaff all nice and helpful and accomodating.

Ok so I had a cpu issues. One not really hotels fault but the differ to whomever owns the parking garage. ! it is very tight and narrow! 2 I got hit in the parking lot and the hotel pushed me to a company that supposedly owns the lot but you get an email and no one ever replies. I was parked in a corner spot all the way to the back almost virtually impossible to have backed into me in that location but someone managed. This is strange to me but they didn't have those small plastic bags for laundry which I found strange. Oddly I forgot to pack my laundry bag, but don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel room that didn't have those hanging from the hangers! not huge but strange. The toilet paper mount in my room was broken! The toilet sat way too close to the wall and was super low to the ground. I'm 6'5 and it was very low. certainly not an ada compliant toilet but again not a major issue just a annoyance more than anything. the sink wasn't clean. all not super major issues but a bunch of small little issues.

We went to the rooftop for the views. Spectacular!!! We ordered beverages from a very nice and prompt server. We also ordered the Roasted Fingerlings to munch on. They were delicious!!! Definitely would visit again - the food, service and views were awesome!

This hotel is excellent in every way. We have stayed here before and will definitely return.

Clean spacious rooms, modern design. No toilettes on the bathroom counter top like small cottons, qui tops etc. very minimal. Location is good, front desk was friendly. Roof top of course on a Wednesday night was empty, which was expected.

There was a big bug in our room that got in my husbands wine glass while watching tv.

This hotel is just outside the gates of the Biltmore Estate. It is clean and welcoming. There is breakfast and a bar for evening drinks. The room is clean and minimal. The bed is comfortable as are the pillows and sheets. Nice products in the shower.

Excellent. Great and friendly service overall: front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. Top notes for cleanliness, comfort and location. Highly recommended.

Bartender did not want to help us. We were only having tea and he couldn’t be bothered. It was early and not crowded so no reason for this. Had some difficulty on check in but maybe just new staff.

The location is the standout feature of this hotel. It is walking distance from the French Broad Chocolate shop, which made for a lovely nightcap each evening. Beyond that, the room itself was clean and check-in was straightforward.

The elevator is absurdly slow and shared among hotel guests, staff, and people using the parking garage on the lower floors, resulting in long, frustrating waits. There are no reserved parking spots for hotel guests either, so on busy evenings we had to pay for valet parking. Housekeeping also left a lot to be desired; at one point, the room cleaner threw away an unfinished lotion bottle and never replaced it. The hotel bar was another disappointment. For something marketed as a hotel amenity, the hours are surprisingly limited, and it is not even open during the afternoon, which defeats the purpose entirely.

Had a great stay at AC Asheville Marriott with friends! The hotel was modern, clean, and in a great location close to downtown Asheville. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Perfect spot for a fun trip with friends and would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived two men behind the desk knew who we were and considering the debacle with both the hotel & booking.com not able to find my reservation when I tried checking in online the day before, they were quite friendly and welcoming!

Didn’t care for the breakfast set up. I’d prefer coffee poured at my table and having cream and sugar offered as well. I had to keep getting up and searching for things while two women stood by.

Modern and clean, friendly staff

Pricey, but comparable for downtown Asheville. We had a Mountain View room but view is more Downtown with mountains in the background from where we were. We still enjoyed the view.

Location, clean, modern decor, friendly staff, handy access to the public parking garage with room key right next to hotel.

For the price we paid, things I found disappointing were: Bathroom slider door (not much sound proofing), lighting in room good for modern ambient feel but not great for doing make-up, the restaurant environment had more of a business conference feel (functional) - but the food was good, no complaints there. That said we would still choose to stay here again.

Excellent on all levels. Upon arrival, Laura w comes me and helped me secure an outstanding room upgrade. Throughout my stay she also offered helpful advice on activities and dining. My room was wonderful - clean, nicely appointed, good view, and very comfortable. The property was situated in a walkable area with fun shopping and dining (great coffee spot next door). Parking was a breeze and very convenient. The bar staff at rooftop bar were friendly, fun, and talented. Grew drinks and baked up by a great kitchen staff and chef. I tried several items from the tapas menu and loved them all (generous portions). Throughout my stay Laura, as well as Brandon and Nick, with guest services checked in on me via text and promptly offered tips and answered questions. I really enjoyed my stay and found this to be a surprisingly unexpected treat. Well done to the entire team at this property. I would welcome an opportunity to stay here again. Cheers!

The entire thing: the staff was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area, the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable, the parking was simple, and the rooftop lounge had a great staff, drinks and food!

Great hotel option for downtown Asheville. Easy walk to dining and bars. The staff at this location were amazing - so helpful, friendly, and happy to be there. I call this out because it was so refreshing! Our room was spotless and almost sterile which is great for a pet friendly hotel. Parking was easy as well. The nice touch award was the eucalyptus shower steamer pod available in the morning! Will come back.

Lack of amenities. Having to park on the 4th floor, and stay on 6th floor. Asking repeatedly for a handicapped room and didn’t get it.

From start to finish our visit at the AC Asheville was outstanding. We were welcomed by Will, Lauren and Brandon. They exceeded all guest service expectations and followed up to make sure we were comfortably settled. This was hospitality at its best. We enjoyed the beautiful 9th floor bar/restaurant-what a view! Our room was beautiful and the mattress was so comfortable. We have found our place in beautiful Asheville.

We were greeted very warmly and enthusiastically at the desk. I received follow on texts from Colin and Mya making sure our room was good. It was my birthday and I was given coupons to the rooftop bar. I used a room upgrade night and we were given a room with a balcony. We later enjoyed the sunset over Asheville from our balcony. Prior to that we had a light meal and drinks on the rooftop bar. Sam, our server, was awesome. She really made it fun. The hotel is centrally located and we were able to walk to dining and shops.

This property has a great location! Loved that we parked safely in the garage but could walk to everything we wanted to do. If we needed to get the car, access was easy in and out. The hotel was clean and modern. I would definitely stay there again.

I traveled with my wife and our dog for a long weekend to enjoy hiking in the area and some nice dinners. The location was wonderful, we were easily able to walk for all restaurants and shopping. There was plenty of space in our room for our dog and her crate and everybody was very friendly. The room was pretty comfortable. The initial refrigerator we had wasn't working, but we quickly got a replacement which kept our breakfast and lunch foods nice and cold. (Yogurt,milk, cheese, fruit). Despite the location, the noise wasn't bad at all. Few downsides: -Elevators were not sufficient, even though the hotel didn't seem fully booked. Often waiting 4 to 5 minutes seemed a bit unusual. - room cleaning happened at strange times, between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. - literally no storage for any clothes. The only drawer was one tiny drawer under the safe where they keep the bible. No closed cabinets, etc. - most problematic was that on the second night there , somebody must have vomited in the hallway near the elevator on our floor, and despite their efforts, the odor really was locked in and unavoidable. It made it really difficult to be in the hallway. Overall, a nice stay with friendly staff and comfortable room in a great location. The lack of storage, and the elevator timing plus hallway vomit smell kept us from being able to give this a five.

First time stay, extremely dog friendly! Brought our pooch and she loved every minute of it too! Warm and friendly service at front desk, Will the manager and all the staff are extremely welcoming and are super attentive and do an amazing job in general! Comfortable and clean rooms, great service, food and drinks at roof top bar/restaurant with stunning panoramic views of the mountains and the absolute best location in Asheville! We love it and can’t wait to go back!

Was a very nice hotel in a great location , But I like a dark room and could not get the black out curtains to close all the way. Sun woke us up very early. Very frustrating. So put Velcro or some way to close curtains all the way please!

The staff were very friendly went above and beyond to provide everything we needed. Wonderful place would definitely stay again.

Rooms are nice, great sheets. Rain shower directions are bass backward, but simple enough to sort out. Breakfast is worth it, but the espresso machine was out.

The garage is not truck-friendly. Short roofs and tight corners. Long beds beware. Also, if you take your key to get your vehicle, you MUST open the gate with your key and drive out without dropping the key in the drop box! There is no pressure pad.

Great location, beautiful building

Very tight parking garage requires key to leave, turn is very very tight, is slightly hazardous. Bathroom had a glass barn door, bathroom should have a whole door.

The property is one of my favorites! I really enjoy the fact that it is downtown Asheville and you are in short walking distance to many places. The facility is always clean and the staff are extremely friendly.
