Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cet établissement. L’accueil fut bon. La chambre était très confortable avec sa petite terrasse. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré.

It was in the heart of the city with incredible views from our balcony.

The view from our room was amazing! Staff went above and beyond to assist.

Our room was beside a main thoroughfare, because you could see in the gate there wasn’t much privacy on our patio.

The accommodations , the view, the staff they were all wonderful

A lot of stairs to go up and down, but I have a bad knee, but most people didn’t have a problem. The view was worth it.

The curtain on our door window was too small. I had to hang a blanket up for privacy, to stop people being able to see in.

Excellent location, all staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room we had was fantastic, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Spa bath, clean shower and comfy bed.

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre historique de Matera avec une belle vue sur les sassi, magnifique salle à manger dans les grottes et chambre très confortable. Bon restaurant.

L'absence de vue de note chambre située dans une ruelle en contrebas de l'hôtel et donnant sur un mur. Prix de la restauration un peu élevé.

Fabulous service during our stay and even before we arrived. Location was also exceptional. Amazing views. Premium amenities.

La ubicación y la zona donde se desayuna es bonita.

El aire acondicionado no enfriaba bien, lo comenté y lo sabían pero no tenían otra habitación disponible para cambiarnos, nos facilitaron un ventilator pero no pagué lo que cuesta el alojamiento para dormir con ventilator que hace ruido y no es igual que un aire. El desayuno bueno si buscas bollería, si quieres algo más sano como huevos etc es de pago extra, no incluye en el desayuno que pagas.

Exceptional stay. Wonderful location, beautiful room, fabulous food. Staff were brilliant. So helpful. Particularly in arranging the shuttle parking which was worth every penny. Porterage service is a life saver. Dinner in the hotel was a very special memory.

Albergo situato in posizione centrale e che offre una vista mozzafiato. Struttura completamente rinnovata e ricavata nella roccia con angoli scenici. Servizio discreto e all'altezza dell'offerta.

There was a disco restaraunt outside our door which went until midnight 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed at the hotel. It was like being Ibiza

What a beautiful room - we booked a suite and it must have had 20.ft high stone ceiling! Loved the bath in the bedroom! Amazing views from the balcony. Breakfast in a cave was a new experience- lots of choice and delicious pastries and cakes… Staff were lovely…all very welcoming and a very special thanks to the guys who carried our bags up/down from the Palazza - thank you

I especially liked the location of the hotel - in the Sassi but not in the midst of all of the chaos - the staff - so so kind especially Luca at the reception - and the breakfast - with many homemade goodies.

The hotel is an "albergo diffuso" and obviously there are architectural limitations in Matera but sleeping in the Sassi can feel a bit suffocating as there is not much light coming in - anyway it is an experience so I would not say it is a negative aspect.

Lage, Ausstattung, außergewöhnliches Ambiente, Frühstück in der Grotte. Der Abend ist perfekt zu genießen, wenn man an der Wegmauer sein Abendessen einnimmt. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Rundum gehobene Klasse

O pequeno almoço no Bistro poderia ser mais variado. O quarto era mesmo ao lado da recepção.

Somente a cama e o chuveiro.

O ar condicionado é controlado na recepção e não dentro do quarto. Pedi uma temperatura de 20 graus e não fui atendida. Durante a noite o ar condicionado é desligado e por isso não conseguimos dormir. O café da manhã não é condizente com a categoria e preço que o hotel se auto intitula. Um suco de laranja espremido e um ovo frito simples sao cobrados à parte. Minha filha ficou em outro quarto com o mesmo problema do ar , e no caso dela pior porque o quarto era térreo, a porta abre diretamente para rua, sem nenhuma privacidade, não podia nem abrir a porta para entrar um ar que as pessoas ficam olhando e tirando fotos de dentro.

La ubicación, el desayuno y la vista excepcional. Pedimos una suite deluxe divina!

Al minibar le faltaba… Poco personal, nos dijeron que tenían room service y un día de semana a las 17 hs no tenían cocinero. Los servicios ofrecidos por el hotel, bastantes caros. Nos quisieron cobrar 120 euros el laundry de 10 prendas de ropa. Pese a ello el lugar es hermoso, limpio y parece un palacio. El desayuno muy completo también!

Excellent emplacement au coeur des sassi de Matera avec jolie vue sur la gravina, idéal pour visiter le site. Excellent petit déjeuner très copieux, diversifié et délicieux dans le cadre exceptionnel de la salle creusée dans la roche !

Chambres petites mais normal, c'est lié à la configuration du lieu creusé dans la roche. Des verres mis à disposition dans la chambre seraient un plus.

Good location with a great view. Nice decor. Friendly staff.

Room was not a cave but a separate building on a main footpath so lost of people walking past with suitcases or trollies banging on the steps next to the headboard of the bed. Advice for anybody else staying to contact hotel first to work out best route to walk with cases avoiding all the steps - DON’T RELY ON MAPPING APPS!

O quarto que nos hospedamos era incrível, com uma piscina aquecida dentro do quarto. A experiência de estar dentro de uma caverna, é simplesmente inesquecível. Staff muito atencioso e a localização é maravilhosa.

No pudimos elegir mejor lugar para nuestra estancia en Matera. Lo que realmente marca la diferencia es la extraordinaria amabilidad y calidez de todo el personal; nos recibieron de forma impecable ofreciéndonos bebidas apenas llegamos y estuvieron atentos a cada detalle con una sonrisa. La habitación es un auténtico sueño y la gastronomía del hotel es de otro nivel: la cena fue exquisita y el desayuno nos sorprendió con una variedad increíble, todo artesanal y hecho por ellos mismos. Una experiencia de diez que hizo nuestro viaje aún más especial. ¡Totalmente recomendada!

Great location for most of the Sassi areas and had a genuine “cave experience” feel in our room and in the dining room. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was a wider Italian assortment and cooked breakfasts were available at extra cost.

Would have liked tea/coffee making in our room and a small sofa would have easily fitted in the room to make our stay even more comfortable.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a great location, attentive and welcoming staff and great attention to detail. On arrival we were offered recommendations for restaurants in the area, refreshment drinks, we were even collected from the nearest piazza with an umbrella due to the slight drizzle! Our room was amazing - it had a huge built in bathtub, which is so large it’s really more of a plunge pool! I’d definitely recommend requesting this room if possible, but given how amazing all the parts of the hotel we saw were, I’d guess all the rooms are likely to be great! They’ve managed to get the balance between that “cave-like” experience you want in Matera, without anything feeling closed in or claustrophobic just right. The included breakfast was probably the best we had during our whole trip. Everything was homemade and fresh with a fantastic range of options to choose from!

Breakfast was very poor. Ok if you like cake but anything like toast an egg or real orange juice was extra and coffee was the worst I have ever tasted In Italy just out of a mix machine.
