The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. AC was working well.

There was no facial tissue box. No disposable toothbrush. Part of cost-cutting measures? Please send the receptionist who worked on the morning of 29 Aug for training on greeting guests. His PR skills are so bad. Doesn't even greet the guests, and you expect the hotel ratings to be Excellent for the year 2026?

The comforter cover didn't seem clean and my sleep was disturbed by itchy legs covered by the comforter. Should provide additional room card (free instead of asking for additional deposit) as we need the card for the lift and room power supply. If one person take the card to go out, the one left in the room without electricity. Toilet and bathroom too small.

В номере грязь не замечена, постельное чистое, в ванной тоже. В коридоре есть общий утюг и гладильная доска, а также кулер с водой. Завтрак приемлемый, есть из чего выбрать, но из мясного только сосиски средней паршивости и курица в местном соусе.

Самое ужастно это то, что сильно слышно дорогу, т.к. дверь на балконе далеко не звукоизолирующая. Мопеды очень громкие и ездят где-то до 2 ночи. Также в 5 утра пришли шумные соседи и их было очень хорошо слышно. Пустой холодильник в номере, никаких привественных или платных напитков. Вид на улицу грустный, какая-то заброшка и двухэтажные трущобы.

Good location. A bit away from the busy shopping district so it's quite but easy to get Gra bcar. Breakfast was good with variety and different menu everyday. Mini bar in the room was really a bonus - adds value to our stay. Asrul and Asri (Front Office) were really friendly, kind and helpful. Kudos to them.

Female front office staff that was not being hospitable and unkind. She saw us carrying lots of luggage yet she did not even bother to help or at least find the courtesy to open the lobby door entrance. We find that disappointing indeed.

When we arrived at our room, it was obvious that it had not been used for quite some time. The room was extremely hot, stuffy, and poorly ventilated. Normally, the air conditioning should be turned on at least an hour before guests arrive so that the room is cool and comfortable upon check-in. Unfortunately, this was not the case. In addition, none of the hotel corridors had air conditioning or even adequate ventilation. Every time we stepped out of our room into the hallway, it felt unbearably hot and uncomfortable. I had specifically requested a room that was not facing the street. However, I was given a street-facing room instead. The traffic noise was constant throughout the night, making it very difficult for me to sleep. Moreover, the view was disappointing, as it overlooked an old, worn-down building rather than offering a pleasant outlook. The bathroom also appeared not to have been cleaned thoroughly. There was visible limescale and mineral buildup on the bathroom fixtures, which gave the impression that the bathroom had not been properly maintained. Another issue was the size and layout of the room’s bathroom. We had booked a triple room, but the bathroom was extremely small and poorly designed. When you opened the bathroom door, there was not enough space to enter. You first had to squeeze into a corner and close the door before you could move further inside. The shower area was equally cramped. Because the bathroom was so small and there was visible limescale and poor cleanliness, we chose not to use the shower at all. The check-in experience was also disappointing. Instead of being welcomed with a friendly greeting, a cool room, or even a complimentary bottle of water after our journey, we were kept waiting for nearly 20 minutes while the reception staff insisted that we had to pay a RM50 cash security deposit. There was no mention of this deposit anywhere on Booking.com. Eventually, after I explained that this requirement had not been disclosed.

They had helped with carrying things up to the room. They even extended their help by booking grab for him to go to the mosque for Friday prayer and back to the hotel. Such good hearted staffs of yours should be praised and recognised. May Allah reward the triple A with jannah.

No in-house food service, no choice of halal restaurant within walking distance but grab/panda food are easily available.

For the price, room was a bit bare and basic.

Location is good, about 10-15mins walk to tourist sites. There’s also free parking.

1. There was a power outage during the middle of the night. We had trouble taking shower and could not fall asleep. 2. The hotel in general is quite old and not in great maintenance conditions. There’re stains on the wall, shower door also have part of the coloring coming off. In general, for maintenance I’d rate it as below 2-star hotel. 3. Bath towels look old, had dark stains and did not look very white and clean. 4. The hotel staff checked the room when we check out, and claimed that the pillow case was dirty. I was very surprised as I’d assume pillow cases will be cleaned after guests check out. We were only there for a night, approx 11pm - 10am, tried to take shower and sleep despite the power outage, we did not do anything else. I suspect that the stain was already there before we checked in, leading me to question the cleanness of all beddings and towels. I can’t really upload photos because: a. we had - tight schedule, and b. because of power outage, all of the photos I took are pitch black and doesn’t really say anything.

The ironing area is shared with all rooms, but I can accept it, but the iron provided to me was definitely not well maintained and damaged my clothes. The receptionist said that there was a notice posted there, but we managed to prove that there was no notice there and the issue was that the customer had to provide an iron that was actually broken. The receptionist only said, I can only apologize.

I booked 2 rooms: Premier Room (402) and Twin Room (401) but i think the layout for Premier Room is bit narrow which they should switch the layout 402 with 401 which more wider and suitable for Premier Room as got 2 + 1 beds.

I travel extensively and rarely have the time to write reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel was so terrible that I felt obligated to share my experience. The Service: We had an issue where a dirty iron burned and permanently stained my friend's T-shirt. I even showed them a picture of the iron at the counter, and the front desk promised to follow up with me on WhatsApp regarding the damage. However, since checking out, I still haven't received a single message from them. The Room: Air Conditioning: The AC is locked. You cannot drop the temperature below 20°C or use the turbo setting to properly cool down the room. Curtains: The room has sheer white curtains that do absolutely nothing to block the sun. The room gets incredibly bright at dawn, making it impossible to sleep. The Food: This was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. The chicken was incredibly hard and completely inedible. I struggled to find anything worth eating each morning. Wi-Fi & Amenities: The Wi-Fi in the rooms is completely unusable for working. I was forced to go downstairs to the café just to get a connection. To make matters worse, the staff were reluctant when I asked to use the café space to work.

Location was a bit out of town and the building opposite is so run down it makes the neighbourhood feel a bit unsafe? (Not the hotel's fault but something to bear in mind perhaps if you are a lone traveller) Personally we did not mind the 10 minute walk to Jonker Street (and there's always Grab)
