Travelodge London Greenwich

I had a great stay at the Travelodge Greenwich. The room was spotless, comfortable, and ideal for getting a really good night’s sleep. The food was very enjoyable, with a good variety available, especially at breakfast. The staff were welcoming and always happy to help. A special mention goes to Emine, who was lovely and made everything smooth and easy throughout the stay. Emine was also fantastic—friendly, professional, and made us feel very well looked after. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience and I’d happily stay here again.

Slept well during the stay. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought the road would be a problem. We had everything we needed in our rooms. At breakfast, there was a good selection. Emine made sure we had enough to eat and drink plus made us laugh with her friendly attitude. Thank you Emine for your positive manner and good hositality.

Beste experience ever! Sadia is really nice and helpful!!

Hospitality by bala was amazing and the hotel is good

Carla, Wiz and Sylvia at the Travelodge Greenwich were absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, and it really felt like they genuinely cared. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and well looked after. It made such a difference to my stay and I left feeling really grateful for their kindness. Thank you all so much for everything 😊

Really lovely and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

The Travelodge is in a excellent location for the Greenwich Museums and the transport network. The rooms are immaculate and very well catered for. The breakfast is exceptionally good value with plenty of choice. I particularly loved the choice of fruit and fruit mixes and the Stoats porridge option. The staff were so friendly, they couldn't do enough for you and special thanks to Van at the breakfast buffet, so very helpful. Will definitely stay again

Good location next to LDR to London, a short walk to Cutty Sark and Greenwich museums. Very clean room and confortable bed, and an excellent full English breakfast.

My son and I were not guests but had an early outing this day, and were warmly received to have breakfast. My son being a fussy eater was greatly catered for and the staff were so warm and lovely.

Amazing stay - comfy room in the heart of London. Roy and the team were so kind throughout my whole stay. Definitely recommend

Roy and Carla were amazing, very friendly and professional. They both gave a great induction to the hotel and explained everything very well. Making you feel relaxed and comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The facilities were excellent, and everything was exactly as described. I would especially like to mention Emine, who made our stay exceptional. She was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Her attention to detail and care for guests really stood out. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The food was tasty and service very friendly. Couldn’t ask for more after a long day the office.

5 Star Service from start to finish. Special shout-out to Kumal in the restaurant who was Friendly and Professional; a winning combination. Also want to mention the bar staff who couldn’t do enough to make everyone feel welcome. Definitely will be back; busieness or pleasure. Well done Team Greenwich Travelodge.

Emine is very nice and professional manager. She is very good and very helpful. Thank you to her. The hotel is nice and clean. Close to DLR. Easy commute the city. I will stay this hotel again.

We Are coming back. Safe and friendly! Helpful and wanted the best for their guests. Near the DLR easy to Get to the AirPort, Stansted.

We are on vacation and came to this hotel for breakfast because our accommodation didn’t offer one. Van gave us a very warm welcome and kindly explained how everything worked, thank you to her! The breakfast was varied and very good. We recommend it if you’re looking for a nice continental breakfast, all-you-can-eat and reasonably priced.

Excellent service and food, nice and clean room!

Carla and Sylvia made my stay, friendly faces are great to see when travelling alone and nothing was too much trouble

Komal was very helpful and amazing 👍❤️

Komal was very helpful, she was able to replace my card when it was blocked. She made my overall experience better, I had a wonderful considering it being my first time here!

Went for breakfast here on a Sunday. Great value for money and Komal made sure we had everything we needed 😊

Roy is extremely helpful, topman

Very close to metro station. Nice location, lovely welcome. Thanks Nells

I’ve been staying here once a week for a few months and, while the roommate facilities are all great, Carla and Sadia make it excellent. Remembering my kids, need of ironing board and always greeting with a smile really do make difference. Thanks!

Roy was great good place chill

Small but clean room. Done the job for short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Wiz and Emine. Thanks

She was very professional and understanding guests expectations. Actually for Travelodge she is beyond and goes above to make sure everyone in the hotel staying as their home comfort. Check in was very easy and Emine gave us all information about our stay and hotel. Location of the hotel is very convenient and easy to travel to city.

Kind staff, nice room and good location for commute via the DLR.

Wan she was really friendly and kind she was giving us food all the time amazing service !!

Baca was really friendly and provided fantastic service!

I had a memorable stay at the branch. All thanks to the wonderful staff members.Courtous and helpful.

Emine is a very professional manager. She is very supportive, helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions, concerns and requirements during the check-in.

Right next to DLR station, very convenient after a night out in London. Nice modern hotel, everything you expect from Travelodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The room I was given was on the first floor near the main road, and it was very noisy. The traffic made it difficult for me to relax and sleep properly. The room itself was clean, but the noise really affected my overall experience. I would have preferred a quieter room or at least to be informed in advance about the room location.

The First Lady at the bar was beyond rude however Bala who was on the shift after made up for that ten fold she was friendly and helpful and just so lovely an absolute credit to the company!

Excellent location. The room was super comfortable but most importantly, Carla was fantastic, such a lovely personality and very helpful.

Perfect stay! Big clean rooms, perfect location, value for money and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend staying. Big thanks to Maranda and Wizz, super friendly and helpful staff!

A solid, reliable Travelodge that’s ideal for a short stay. It’s perfectly located with easy access to the DLR as well as Greenwich, Deptford and Deptford Bridge stations, which makes getting around really convenient. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and a special mention goes to Carla who is always positive, welcoming, and a great host to arrive to. She really makes a difference to the stay.

The room was nice and the staff members on shift; Lisa and Crystelle were very friendly and welcoming. They made our visit a million times better. Very good team!

I had a great time staying over the weekend and the manager, Maranda was very warm and accommodating! She made sure the process for extending my bookings for another night was very seamless! I would totally recommend for anyone looking to visit Greenwich and its environs!

This hotel was one of the best Travelodge I've been in and I've used them all over the country. I don't normally leave reviews but special mention to the lovely Carla who checked us in, she was so helpful and welcoming, thanks very much 😊

The location was great, right next to the DLR station and bus stop. Also a coop nextdoor. The room was fine, just what I expected. Clean and basic. The reason I wanted to trip adviser this was because the staff were so friendly and helpful - giving a shout out to Wiz who went out of his way to help me with directions. He was very welcoming and friendly and immediately made me feel at ease (even though I was quite stressed when I arrived). I booked the breakfast and for me it was a waste of money. The coffee was dreadful and the hot water to make tea tasted bad. I'm vegan so there wasn't much I could select - maybe adequate for meat eaters. All I wanted was a decent coffee really so wouldn't book again.

No carpark staff awful food terrible .breakfast was awful stale food with fruit flys on fruit salad .no variety ran out of everything never replaced items when it had all gone .no fruit juice waste of money location is awful noisy all night miles from anything .had to pay for Uber to get to a carpark as at least 20 minutes walk away .would recommend not to stay here

The service is freaking amazing. They are so helpful and professional! I'm sure I will be back to this hotel ! Big thank you for PHONG and Bala.

We recently spent a few nights at the Travelodge Greenwich, Blackheath Rd. As a couple we don't usually do reviews. But, there are exceptions and on this occasion the exception was Maranda (if not then should be Manager. We were not particularly special customers in any which way. But how she and her staff treated us made us feel special.. Very polite (expected), Worked through any and all problems professionally Yet with care and patience.

Greenwich travel lodge, great experience and very warm welcome from Wiz, really handsome and good looking receptionist, very helpful and knowledgeable- thank you 😊

Stayed here as was attending an event at the 02. Hotel was very clean as was my room. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room 602 which I had pre selected before arrival, great room with a lovely view. Right next to the DLR Deptford Bridge stop and many bus stops available to take you into central London and surrounding areas. Will most definitely be retuning.

Great value and location is super. Regularly greeted by Sadia who is professional and courteous and a great problem solver (Fan over hot summer)

Friendly and welcoming staff. Nicely decorated, large clean comfortable rooms. Staff excellent. Food very good. Sadia on reception gave a friendly and professional welcome, remembered name throughout my stay making me feel welcomed. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed from Sunday to Thursday and there was not one thing I can complain about. All staff are just wonderful and so accommodating. Cleaning staff are amazing! On time, cleans are perfect. Rooms just the right size! Tea and coffee included! I will be coming back here for sure! Sadia is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. (Even If that means a hot chocolate with whipped cream every night :). Thank you all you are awesome. 😊

All the double rooms face the main road, so they’re very noisy and mine also smelled bad. I asked for a higher floor, but the staff refused to offer one. The service here is terrible. When I checked in, the room had a strong unpleasant odour; I had to open the window to air it out, but then it became unbearably noisy even with the window closed. To make things worse, they placed me right in front of the exit door, so I kept hearing it open and close all night. It was the worst room and the worst experience I’ve ever had. I sat near the table to see if it was just me she didn’t want to offer a higher floor to. When one of the guests checked in, she offered them between the 1st, 2nd, and 6th floors like, is this a joke? That’s when I knew she was never being honest. I’ve stayed at many hotels before, and the first time I dealt with her, she was already on a power trip. And the water pressure in my room was so low! The button to turn it on and off made no sense you actually had to keep it in the middle to get the water running. I stayed in Room 101, so if anyone else gets that room, good luck 😂 RIP you!

We had a really nice stay at Travelodge Greenwich. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location very convenient. Sadia was amazing — so kind and welcoming, she really made us feel at home. Overall, a good experience and great value for money!

Great location, clean and spacious room. Peter went above and beyond. My necklace fell down the sink and Peter was really helpful getting the tools to retrieve it. Thanks Peter 😀

Really ideal place to stay and very helpful staff. Maranda went beyond and helped us, she was friendly and knew exactly what to do. Thank you Maranda for making our 6 night stay, comfortable. Alex & Joost from The Netherlands.

Best price, cute room, good breakfast the people are nice, its clean. I had a good night. The hotel is not very far from the center of London.

The hotel was clean, comfortable & well located. Our room was quite warm, so we left the window open overnight. However, the noise from the traffic was very loud. The following night, we closed the window. This helped with the noise, but the room was then very warm.

Nice clean hotel , quiet inside noisy outside as is on corner of 2 main roads in London , it is double glazed so cut most of noise out except my window was a bit fiddly to shut but worked it out by second night .Only let down bar and breakfast area quite small and both coffee machine broken on our second day .

The reception staff is dishonest , manipulative and refuse address any issue which can arise during stay . I have been given room with broken lick that I could not lock myself sadly for the night . As I asked to address this issue or exchange me a room I have been subjected to series of bad treatment disrespect and gaslighting by Ty or even treatening. . That he will call security in me because I am asking to change me a room. I am not sure what safe is taking there but they refuse any problem and address them appropriately. But demand the extra money for it . And it is not a too as before addressing issue . It is your job tip you could receive but not have to , for extra nice customer service . If the customer have very good experience and want you regard you additionally . Not in this hotel as even if they play nice they only pretend. It is Greenwich travel lodge branch.

I had a great time. The staff were very freindly and went out their way to make us feel welcome, especially Assad Rubani, who was very knowledgeable about the ameneties and local area. The price was good for the service offered.

Nice clean hotel. Quiet. Easy to get transport to other places. Nice staff who were very helpful. Easily accessible with a wheelchair.

I'd already stayed in the Travelodge just down the road and I'd say this is definitely the better one. My room was by the main road, so it can be quite noisy during the night and this isn't the hotels fault. You can pay extra to choose your room and I'd personally only do this if the hotels by a busy main road. The location is opposite a Docklands Light Railway station, so you can easily get into central London and when did travelodge get new style soap dispensers!

Spent weekend here with my friend. Checked in by the friendly Sadia. Who also served food and made sure we were happy. Will likely stay again.

Had a lovely time the night staff Phong,Bala and Joy big up to you guy's. Very happy with my stay thank you Definitely will go again

All fine (clean room, etc; all the things you just take for granted -- apart from the pathetic wifi limitations).

This is our second stay at the Travelodge London Greenwich. We have found it to be very clean and comfortable, but it’s the staff that makes it special. Every staff member we have had the pleasure to meet has been cheerful and helpful, especially Ms. Sylvia in the café. The café is comfortable and relaxing, and the food is surprisingly good! And when you have someone as lovely as Sylvia taking care of you, you know you chose the perfect place to dine.

I visited Travelodge London Greenwich and my stay was great. The environment was clean and the staff was polite. Sadia was very welcoming to me and had a lot of knowledge about the area. Thank you I will be back.

Due to being next to the main road and no sound proofing in the rooms, we had very little sleep due to the noise. It was also very hot in the rooms but we couldn’t open the windows for air due to the noise being even louder then. No air conditioning and only one small fan in the room. A very hard mattress made for an aching back in the morning. The tv wasn’t working when we arrived but this was fixed by staff. Staff were perfectly welcoming. Breakfast was terrible - everything watered down, overcooked or tasteless, and very few options for intolerances.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, I had Sadia taking my order and deliver the food for me and my partner. Couldn’t ask for better! x

I've stayed here a couple of times and always had a nice stay. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and I've had a good night's sleep. I had coffee in the bar once too, and it was nice. The bar area is spacious and light. The location is good, being bang next to the DLR.

Amazing service really friendly and quick! Felt really comfortable and welcome into the hotel and restaurant, Sadia served us and gave us a choice on what floor we had and was really helpful when checking in and serving our food and drink!

Sadia served us she was very friendly, easy to talk to and had a contagious smile. Such a lovely person to welcome us into the hotel.

Room is boiling hot due to no air conditioning. Room comes with one very basic and cheap oscillating fan as an attempt to cool the room due to no air conditioning but fails miserably. Very noisy due to large road junction on front of building with constant bibbing of horns by motorists. You have to make a decision on shutting the window and dying of the heat or opening the window and getting the slightest of relief from the heat but not sleeping due to the traffic. Requested another fan at reception but was refused due to them not having any. Every which way but lose! Although staff are friendly I would avoid this hotel due to the internal high temperature and poor airflow making it unbearable.

I HAD A SOLO & WONDERFUL “TREAT MYSELF DAY!” A RELAXING, SUNNY AFTERNOON IN GREENWICH, LED ME TO TRAVELODGE ( DEPTFORD BRIDGE). A WARM WELCOME & SMILE AWAITED ME IN RECEPTION FROM TY. I INDULGED IN A DELICIOUS, MOUTH WATERING MEAL - COURTESY OF SYLVIA (RESTRAUNT CHEF). I ALSO HAD THE HONOUR TO PERSONALLY THANK HER IN PERSON ( VERY WARM PERSONALITY). RESTAURANT AMBIENCE - A PLUS/ RELAXING FOOD PORTION- EXTREMELY GENEROUS ( I HAD TO ASK FOR A TAKEAWAY CONTAINER). FIRST IMPRESSIONS - TICK KEEP UP THE GOOD PROFESSIONALISM! I WAS WELL LOOKED AFTER AND WILL DEFINITELY COME AGAIN BOTH SOLO AND WITH MY TEAM. THANK YOU, FROM JOY

Sadia and Ty gave an amazing customer support. Our flat was burnt after a fire happening in our building and were relocated to the hotel for the night and we couldn’t have had better people to help out with the situation.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. Evening meals are good value for money, suitably priced offers and breakfast is very good and recommended.

We had such a lovely stay! Sadia, Ty and Sylvia were amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed and wanted to make sure they could make our stay brilliant. Sadia was very polite, complimentary, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much for her to sort out! She was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and pointing us in the right direction for sights. She was amazing!

Spent a couples of nights here while visiting family in London and I was very impressed with the decor for a travelodge. It was clean, friendly and close to all transport links. Staff are very helpful and give good recommendations for things to do locally. In the evening the bar was cosy and was great atmosphere for catching up with family and friends with drinks. Thank you to Wiz, Vee, Sylvia and Meranda for the warm welcome and friendly conversations. The night team you were great too

The staff were brilliant. The breakfast was superb. Great location for exploring Greenwich and easy to get into central London for sightseeing.

Took my money for a double room with a DOUBLE bed but then changed it to two single beds. Staff said they have overbooked or they’re full, no apology no understanding just a rude angry lady with no professional etiquette

When you stay at a Travelodge, the good thing is that you know what you’re going to get, and, as the saying goes, it does what it says on the tin (or the label – if you’re North American). So, you get what you paid for, which is a good thing as you don’t want to be surprised, at least unpleasantly anyway. But when you get what you paid for, that can also mean you might not get a pleasant surprise either. Unless you take a moment and pay attention. With the Travelodge Greenwich, on Blackheath Road (as opposed to the other Travelodge Greenwich which is just around the corner (literally) on Greenwich High Road) you get a clean comfortable room, a bathroom with fixtures that are in good order and a shower with good water pressure and lots of hot water. The rooms are a good size and often larger than you might expect. The location is handy to the sites of Greenwich, but probably on the edge of what is a comfortable walking distance if you’re not a comfortable walker. If you aren’t, it would be a bit far. As I have learned from staying in other “lodges” in the Travelodge group, if you like buffet breakfasts with scrambled eggs (that have usually been under the lights a bit long), sausage (that you’re not sure about), bacon (that’s not quite cooked as you like) and a basic bread and bagel selection, then you will get what you have paid for with the breakfast option you can pay for. If you want a full English breakfast freshly made to your order, that’s not what you’re paying for, so go somewhere else and don’t complain or mutter (even to yourself) about the breakfast buffer on offer. If you want a light and healthy breakfast with a generous selection of fruit or natural yoghurts, that’s also not what you’re paying for, so don’t mutter and moan (even to yourself) that there’s not enough food that you like. You will get what it says on the can, which is fair. I’ve stayed at this Travelodge location a number of times, and I’ve always appreciated the quick check-in and out process they offer as I’ve always been in a bit of rush when I’ve arrived and left. On my last visit, however, I wasn’t in a rush, which gave me a chance to observe, and appreciate more than what I had noticed previously. I had arrived early and hoped I could leave my bag at the front desk for a couple of hours until I could check in. I waited while the woman at the front desk dealt with some unpleasant, short-tempered questions from an unpleasant, short-tempered man and watched as she answered his questions in a patient, polite manner that the man didn’t acknowledge or, quite frankly, deserve. When the un-gentleman finally left and the woman turned to me, when I said something about how “people who get up on the wrong side of the bed” must be a challenge, she was completely professional, acknowledging my comment of support with only a hint of a smile. Because of that brief encounter and the small connection formed, I had the chance to exchange greetings with this Travelodge employee who would notice and say hello throughout my stay and on checking out I thanked her for making my stay particularly nice. This gave me the chance to ask her name which was Maranda, and her position which was Assistant Manager of the hotel. So, while you will get exactly what you expect if you stay at the Travelodge London Greenwich on Blackheath Road, if you take a moment and look around, you can enjoy a pleasant surprise and give yourself the chance to get a bit more than what you expect. In my case that was the change to enjoy the kind attention and professional hospitality of Maranda, an impressive representative of the Travelodge brand.

We were looking forward to seeing the improvements since our last visit. However we were disappointed, our room was baking hot, there was no air con just a noisy fan that we had to keep on all night to make it bearable. On check in we had been told all about the new dinner menu and the ’until late’ pizza. On our last visit we had struggled to find anywhere open post gig, so this was a welcomed development and one we had enjoyed previously in the Wembley branch. We arrived back post gig placed our order and paid, only to be told a few minutes later that they had run out of sauce and the kitchen was closed… no pizza and nothing open around us not even Tesco or co-op. We got a refund but no Dinner. We won’t book again but will return to Southwark Travelodge and travel to New Cross inn!

I have given the hotel a 5 star as it’s a great hotel, location is perfect. The hotel is lovely and clean. Our room was spacious, comfy bed and clean. The staff are very welcoming and always happy to help. The only down side is the road and this is not the hotels fault. It’s a busy road. So just a heads up I would kindly ask to have a room away from the road if possible. I will certainly stay again but ask for a quieter room. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel was very noisy and hot, you have to pay for wifi service. The breakfast was a joke. The lady at the reception was rude and unprofessional.

On site team where fine. Had to pay double price because the date I put into the app was changed to a different date then had to pay to change the date.

I felt so welcomed and relaxed here! It was a quiet environment for a couple nights that I much appreciated before I took my flight back home. Would definitely stay again!

clean neat room, just what we needed for our visit. staff were very friendly and helpful. food was excellent value

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in in my life bed is advertised as king size it’s tiny room is equally as small no bedside table no nets no privacy bathroom and shower might be ok for midgets the breakfast was disgusting bacon not cooked sausages under cooked only scrambled eggs no fresh orange juice just apple or apple and orange staff are rude and unhelpful genuinely not 1 good thing to say about this place avoid at all costs bathroom

Worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed. You literally couldn’t swing a cat in the room. We didn’t unpack our cases as there wasn’t as much as a drawer to put anything in. Room noisy. Worst of all they don’t have air con. Stifling hot in July. They give you a small portable fan which blows and circulates the hot air. Please don’t waste your money on this place.

Very friendly staff especially Bala and Phong. But we’re very helpful and nothing was too much for them. Thank you for a lovely stay and will definitely stay again

The hotel was extremely hot and does not have any ventilation or air conditioning and you cannot open windows. I complained to staff but there was nothing they could do as the heat was being generated from within the hotel. It was like sitting in a hot car and we couldn’t safely sit in the room. I didn’t have a thermometer but it must have been above 34 degrees in the room and we had to keep the bathroom door shut to try and keep the heat from being ventilated in which was very strange. This issue completely ruined our stay but the staff were otherwise very pleasant and the hotel clean. in Terms of location the hotel itself is not actually close to the 02 like the website says, and requires you to take the overground from Canary Wharf to Deptford Bridge which is a simple journey.

BEWARE! The rooms in this hotel are not air-conditioned and mine was incredibly hot during my stay (July 2025). A basic portable fan was provided, but this was virtually useless. I therefore had to have the window open all night, whereupon I was disturbed all night by traffic noise! I love the vibrance of London but - like all human beings - I also need my rest!! Come on Travelodge!! Spend some money on this hotel and, at the very least, provide portable air-conditioning units for the rooms during hot weather. You need to consider the comfort of your guests, not just prioritise your business interests by focussing on maximising profits and share-holders' dividends!

This is a different Travelodge to the one near the station - be sure to check the map to be sure it's the one you want. No air conditioning, not recommended for a summer visit. Otherwise, it's what you'd expect from a Travelodge, simple. The staff were courteous and helpful.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a concert at the O2, easy access to the DLR so it’s handy for travel to the O2. It was 32 degrees the day we visited and there is no AC in the room, we were provided with a small fan but this did nothing, we didn’t sleep very well due to this,( I know they can’t control the weather) the hotel is clean and staff are all nice and friendly, the breakfast room is small and for £11.99 the food was a bit of a let down with a small selection which was slow to be replenished. Overall would recommend for convenience if visiting the O2 just pray it’s not a hot day!!

Stayed at the hotel for one night 10-11th of July with my daughter. We wanted the hotel with good connection to the o2 stadium (bus across the road ) Beautiful room , very clean , lovely room Excellent breakfast ( lady who worked during breakfast service was very helpful, friendly and kind -thank you :) ) Reception ladies - very friendly and helpful- thank you We didn’t get back from the concert until midnight- night porter / very welcoming and friendly We had to the best time ever watching Billy Eilish performing at the o2! Highly recommend this Hotel THANK YOU’

Comfortable room but would have been much better with a/c as very hot. Staff friendly especially Sadie who not only checked me in with a lovely smile but also served me later at the bar. She was very helpful giving me directions for the Cutty Sark and explaining various other things that I asked

I checked into Travelodge after a very difficult journey I was harrassed on the train by an aggressive man that had a problem with wheelchair users. When I got to deptford bridge station I was unable to leave the station as the lift was out of order. When I I eventually arrived at Travelodge deptford bridge I was fully supported by Sadia who was wonderful She arranged my room and gave me warm friendly practical support to recover from my ordeal and to feel comfortable. Please recognise this excellent member of the Travelodge team. She gives above what is expected and makes lone travellers feel supported

SADIA was amazing she went above and beyond to help me with ever request and explained everything included during my stay from breakfast to dinner and explained the menu to me since I am from outside the UK

No parking near the hotel, parking in London far too expensive, they should provide permits if they don't not have parking facilities. No air conditioning in the room which was terrible for sleeping as the window barely opened and they provided one fan which blew hot air around. Staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was well stocked and had a good choice and the room was clean and tidy.

I thought I had booked Greenwich but in fact it was Deptford bridge. I should have booked Greenwich High Road! However, my mistake turned out to be ok. The staff at the welcome desk were outstanding along with the bar staff. They were professional, friendly and even funny. Having stayed in many Travelodge's over the years, this was by far the best for welcome and accessibilty to the DLR. Only complaint was that the bedrooms weren't air conditioned, and even the provision of a fan was inadeqaute in the heat of central London. However the air con in the bar area was lovely. We booked the breakfast and meal deal, and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Excellent value for money.
