Great resort if you want to just stay poolside with kids! My boys 9&11 loved it! Outside if hotel not much to do and the road is extremely busy to walk along with young kids.

Pas grand chose à part que parfois, une odeur désagréable émanant des conduits était présente dans la chambre. Pas de présence aussi d’anti-moustiques ce qui aurait été appréciable au vu du standing surtout que nos hôtels précédant en avait tous - résultats même avec le spray, on s’est bien fait piqué.

Op dit hotel is eigenlijk weinig aan te merken. Het klopt gewoon. Er is veel personeel die ervoor zorgt dat alles op orde en schoon is. De kamers zijn prima en het bed ligt goed! Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker! De diverse zwembaden zijn heerlijk voor kinderen. Wij waren er met een zoontje van 5 jaar. Er is 1 'strand zwembad' waarbij je dus schuin over het zand het water inloopt en er ook op de bodem zand ligt. Heerlijk voor kinderen om te spelen 'alsof ze op het strand zijn'. Ook was er een een kidsclub. Er is een handdoeken service, chocolade hour (16.00 -17.00), het hotel heeft een spa, bar en restaurants.

Het is voor Indonesische begrippen vrij aan de prijs. Ook bv. het eten in hotel en de Spa. Wij namen dit voor lief, maar houd daar wel rekening mee.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Mövenpick before our wedding and couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming experience. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond throughout our stay. We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome gift they surprised us with before our wedding — such a lovely personal touch! The resort is conveniently located close to local food options and shops, making it easy to explore the area. We also really enjoyed the rooftop Mexican restaurant, which had great food and a lovely atmosphere, including local guitar music in the evenings. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, with a great variety of options each morning. The resort does feel more family-focused, but we still found it to be a lovely and relaxing place to stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really appreciated how welcoming and thoughtful the staff were. It was a great place to stay before such a special occasion, and we would happily come back!

The pools water temperature was great for cooling down and play. You can stay the whole day in the pool. Lots of tasty options for the included breakfast. The massage was great and good value foe the money. Chocolate hour was great for the kids. The therapy dogs are soo nice. The gym is great for a small workout while on holidays. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

It was a bit noisy next to the pool because of some works they were doing for new amenities. Every now and then you can feel the smoke coming from things that wete burned in the vicinity.

Kids Club

Ehrlicherweise weiß ich nicht einmal wo ich anfangen soll. Dreckiger Pool (ich bekam nach 10 min juckenden Ausschlag und ging danach nicht mehr in den Pool und unsere Tochter hat sich nach ausgiebigem Spielen im Pool übergeben), vieles ist kaputt, heruntergekommen oder einfach alt. Der Wasserspielplatz ist komplett runtergekommen und die „Hüpfburg“ im Pool lebensgefährlich für Kinder, wenn sie runterfallen und andere Kinder einfach über sie „drüberrollen). Überall verrostete lose Schrauben in der Pool Area. Die Hälfte des Hotels mit Baustellenzaun abgesperrt. Ungenießbarer Kaffee. Ich muss Gluten- und milchfrei essen und hatte eine Auswahl die gegen 0 lief. Selbst der einzige Kokosjoghurt morgens war an manchen Tagen vergriffen. Also gab es ausschließlich Ei und Obst (danach musste ich pro aktiv fragen. Am Buffet gab es nur Äpfel und Melone) für mich zum Frühstück. Das Zimmer wurde 5 Tage nur sporadisch gereinigt (Zahnpastaflecken der Kinder auf dem Spiegel waren 5 Tage an Ort und Stelle, obwohl unübersehbar). Morgens um 9 Uhr wurde man von Bohrmaschinen geweckt. Wäre die Insel nicht so ausgebucht gewesen, hätten wir nach der ersten Nacht das Hotel gewechselt.

This place has a lot of entertainment for children, slides, dancing, chocolate hour etc. The room is comfy and there is lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

The place is too big for the staff to handle. My room was ready way after check in - 5.30 pm. Nothing was offered to compensate it. When I mentioned this at checkout they had to call the manager and offered a cocktail at 10 am! Which didn’t make sense.

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is a fantastic choice for a family getaway, offering wonderful amenities and great hospitality. A special highlight was Freggy at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She welcomed my daughter with a cute turtle plushie, surprised her at night with a lovely Balinese dress, Sarong and towel, and generously offered us a late check-out until 1:00 PM for our flight. The resort boasts a huge, child-friendly swimming pool with great facilities that kept our daughter entertained. We also thoroughly enjoyed the free afternoon chocolate hour, complete with a chocolate fountain and an array of sweet treats. The breakfast offered great variety, though the food quality itself was average.

The restaurant serving breakfast could get quite hectic during peak hours, leaving the staff visibly busy and less attentive.

We had 3 separate massages here over the week we stayed at the resort and everyone was so lovely- great massage. Friendly, beautiful facilities. I highly recommend!

The Staff, food, kids club, pool, the room, spa. The hotel overall was brilliant. the location of all the services in the hotel all being in 1 place was such a good idea.

The paper food vouchers could be avoided and not allowing rooms service when using food vouchers. Also the time of cholcolate hour was a little late in the day to then feed the kids dinner after. These things could be simple improvements that would make a big difference.

We stayed at the Mövenpick Resort in Bali and utilized their kids' club nanny service three separate times (two hours per session) for our 2 and 4 year old and we couldn't be more impressed. A massive shoutout to Dinda, Wanda, and Tisha, who were simply fantastic! From the moment we dropped the kids off, they were warm, engaging, and incredibly attentive. They made sure our little ones were thoroughly entertained, safe, and happy the entire time. Thanks to their wonderful care, we were able to tackle packing, get our room organized, and even enjoy a few peaceful, uninterrupted meals together just the two of us. If you are staying at Mövenpick Bali with young children, do yourself a favor and utilize the kids' club.

We stayed at Mövenpick Resort Bali for two nights at the end of a three-week holiday, using it as a transition before our flight home. Overall, it served its purpose, but I wouldn't consider it a true 5-star experience. In many ways, it felt more like a solid 4-star resort. The resort is very family-oriented, with plenty of kid-friendly activities and facilities. However, because the property is relatively compact, it often felt crowded. Many of the children's activities seemed fully booked or busy, making it difficult to take advantage of everything on offer. The pools are attractive and enjoyable, but the layout feels cluttered and somewhat confusing. Finding available loungers was a challenge, and the practice of guests reserving chairs early in the morning was particularly noticeable. Breakfast was adequate and in line with what I'd expect from a 4-star hotel, but the buffet felt hectic and lacked the quality and variety I would associate with a luxury resort. The staff were consistently kind, friendly, and pleasant, although service could be quite slow at times. Unfortunately, there was construction taking place during our stay, which detracted from the overall experience. While the resort offers access to a nearby stretch of beach within walking distance, it's not among Bali's most appealing beach locations. For the price, we've stayed at other family-friendly resorts that offered a more premium experience and better value. Mövenpick Bali is certainly a convenient option for families, but it didn't quite live up to its 5-star rating in our experience.

While staying at the hotel decided to go for the all body massage. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel at home. The massage was totally relaxing and felt rejuvenated. I would definitely return.

We stayed at the Movenpick resort Jimbaran for 12 nights and had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautiful with manicured gardens, nice walking paths and lots of places to sit. There are four interconnected swimming pools but the way they are situated and the plantings around them seperate the areas from each other. The resort is immaculately clean. The rooms, the dining areas, corridors and pathways are all very tidy and all day you can see people sweeping, cleaning and presenting the resort in a high quality manner. The staff are friendly, always greet you with a smile and are most obliging. We had a Classic Pool room and it was spacious and clean with quality linen. We came on an all inclusive package and the menu and drinks offering was expansive and generous. There are two restaurants, the main Anarasa restaurant and Adriana, a roof top Mexican themed restaurant. Both served tasty food. The resort offers a free Chocolate Hour with all sorts of sweet treats, two chocolate fountains and fairy floss for the kids on offer. The food is plentiful and regularly replenished. The resort offers a free daily morning yoga session and aqua aerobics class and both were great fun and all the instructors were enthusiastic and did a good job. Two instructors, Sastra and Yoga stood out. Both instructors were very good and they encouraged everyone regardless of their ability. Two areas of possible improvement about my stay are that whilst most areas of the resort are designated non smoking it was common to see people sitting around the pool or in other areas openly smoking. Staff didn’t ask people to stop despite them openly smoking. There is a nice outdoor cafe but smoking is allowed there so on the two times we went to eat there, we found people were smoking while we were eating our meals. This was a turn off and disappointing as the area is right next to the children’s play area. At the entrance to the building at the ground floor was a smokers bin which meant smokers stood in the entrance to the building smoking which often meant the area smelt like smoke and the smoke drifted into lift foyer. I would have preferred smokers to be well away from the food and pool area and for the non smoking area policy to be more strictly enforced. The other comment is that service in the main resort restaurant was very slow. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner and regardless of whether it was busy or not, It was not uncommon for a meal or drink order to take over 35 minutes to be served. Coffee service was especially slow and often the order came cold or the wrong coffee and the process and wait would start again. Very frustrating. I’d have liked this to be faster. All in all I would recommend this resort with the two negatives mentioned.

We had the most amazing experience at the spa. Our massage therapists, Artini and Sari were very professional and provided the most beautifully relaxed massage. Highly recommend visiting. We unfortunately came on our last day otherwise would have returned every day.

We've stayed at Mövenpick Bali multiple times, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. If you're travelling with children, it's hard to find a better resort. The lagoon-style pool is fantastic, the daily kids' activities are excellent, and there's always something to keep little ones entertained while parents can relax. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding, with something for everyone. What really sets this resort apart is the people. Every staff member is warm, friendly and genuinely cares about making families feel welcome. One thing that really stood out during this visit was the General Manager Jan taking time out of his morning to stop by our table at breakfast for a chat. It's so unusual to see a General Manager so visible and approachable, taking a genuine interest in guests and their experience. That personal touch says a lot about the culture of the resort and the pride the entire team takes in delivering exceptional hospitality. The resort is always spotless, beautifully maintained and incredibly well run. Its location, just a short walk from Jimbaran Beach and Samasta Lifestyle Village, is another bonus. We've made so many wonderful family memories here, and our children always ask when we're coming back. A huge thank you to Jan and the entire team for another fantastic stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mövenpick Bali to any family looking for a fun, relaxing and memorable holiday.

We only booked this hotel because it was close to the airport, but it completely exceeded our expectations. It turned out to be a fantastic choice for our family. There were so many activities to keep everyone entertained, and the lagoon was an excellent addition, especially since the hotel doesn't have its own beach. The food was outstanding. Both breakfast buffet and the poolside menu were fresh and delicious! We also loved the daily chocolate hour, it was such a thoughtful touch.

There was no change room or bathroom on the lagoon side of the pool, so you always have to walk to the main building.

It is a huge property with a very lively and vibrant atmosphere. The kids' play area and the swimming pools are among the best we've ever experienced in any hotel. The location is excellent too, with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants just a short walk away. The spa was the only disappointment. It was fully booked throughout our 3-day stay, and every time we tried to contact them, we were informed that there were no available slots. It would be great if the hotel could improve spa availability or offer better advance booking options. Housekeeping and the overall service were good, and the staff ensured a comfortable stay.

Our family recently stayed at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, and overall I would happily give it 5/5 stars. If I were rating the resort alone, it may have been closer to a 4 due to a few minor maintenance issues. However, two incredible staff members—Heny and Wandi—completely transformed our experience and turned it into a truly memorable holiday. They went so far above and beyond that they deserve special recognition. Our stay was exactly what we were hoping for: relaxing. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a lovely pool view. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. The only minor downsides were that the room felt a little smaller than it appeared in the photos, and the bathtub plug needed repairing a couple of times. That said, maintenance responded immediately each time, so it never became a major issue. The service throughout the resort was exceptional. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was genuinely warm and helpful. A special thank you to Heny, who helped organise our activities, arranged our bookings, coordinated with drivers, reminded us what to bring, and shared helpful recommendations. As first-time visitors to Bali, she made us feel completely safe and looked after. Her care and attention made planning effortless. We were also incredibly lucky to meet Wandi, our driver. He quickly became much more than someone who drove us from place to place. He acted as our guide, shared fascinating stories about Bali, patiently waited while we enjoyed our activities, and was wonderful with our son. By the end of the trip, he felt more like a friend than a driver. His kindness and genuine nature made our holiday even more special. The resort facilities were excellent. The swimming pool was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Since our son is still learning to swim, we loved that much of the pool was around waist height, allowing him to play confidently and safely. The pool was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a swim-up bar and food service, so we could enjoy drinks and meals without even leaving the water. There were also complimentary floaties and a fantastic children’s area with slides and water play features that kept the kids entertained for hours. Another standout feature was the complimentary Kids Club, which offers up to four hours each day. It gave our son a chance to make new friends while my husband and I enjoyed some much-appreciated couple time. We were able to have a relaxing massage knowing he was safe and having fun. Breakfast was outstanding every morning, with a huge buffet offering plenty of variety and excellent service. We genuinely looked forward to it each day. The spa was probably the only area that didn’t quite meet expectations. While it was still enjoyable, I expected a more peaceful atmosphere. Street noise could be heard during treatments, and I felt the massage therapists could have been more experienced. The location is another major advantage. It’s only around 30 minutes from the airport, making arrival and departure very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants, nail salons and massage shops within walking distance, and the nearby beach is beautiful. One of our favourite evenings was enjoying freshly grilled seafood—including the red snapper, lobster and clams—right on the beach while watching the sunset. It was unforgettable. Overall, our favourite parts of the stay were the incredible breakfast, the beautiful pool, and above all, the outstanding hospitality from Heny and Wandi. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care made us feel at home in a country we were visiting for the first time. Despite a few minor maintenance issues and the slightly dated rooms, we had a wonderful family holiday and would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, especially for families looking for a relaxing holiday with fantastic facilities and truly exceptional service.

La chambre était propre et confortable. Le cadre de l'hôtel est agréable et le personnel est globalement accueillant.

Malheureusement, notre séjour n'a pas été à la hauteur de ce que l'on est en droit d'attendre d'un hôtel 5 étoiles. Au début de notre séjour, le principal problème concernait la piscine. Il n'y avait pas suffisamment de transats pour tous les clients, ce qui obligeait à se lever très tôt chaque matin pour espérer en avoir un. Ce n'est pas du tout ce que nous recherchons pendant des vacances. De nombreux transats étaient réservés dès le matin avec une simple serviette et restaient inoccupés pendant plusieurs heures, voire toute la journée, sans que cela semble être encadré par l'hôtel. Des cabanas sont également proposées, mais elles sont payantes et quasiment impossibles à réserver. Les seules disponibilités restantes étaient de 7h30 à 10h30. Cette situation s'est améliorée vers la fin de notre séjour, mais elle a malgré tout impacté une grande partie de nos vacances. Le Kids Club est présenté comme gratuit, mais il ne l'est que pendant 4 heures par jour. De plus, une grande partie des activités proposées est facturée en supplément, ce qui est décevant pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Nous avons également été très choqués que notre fils soit giflé par un autre enfant sans que la situation ne soit réellement prise en charge par l'équipe du Kids Club. Le petit-déjeuner nous a également déçus. Malgré un buffet varié, nous avons trouvé que la qualité des produits et des préparations n'était pas au niveau attendu pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. Plusieurs aspects de notre séjour ne correspondaient pas au niveau de prestation attendu d'un hôtel 5 étoiles.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the pool facilities were also very good.

The front desk check-in process was very slow. I arrived around noon but had to wait about 30 minutes before it was my turn to check in.

Прекрасное соотношение цена-качество, удобная локация - на такси 20 мин до любого пляжа, до пляжа Джимбаран 5 мин пешком. Пляж прекрасен для встречи заката, множество локальных кафе с морепродуктами. Детям очень понравился бассейн. Отель был полностью загружен, но толпы людей не ощущалось (переживали, что будет очень шумно). Хотя, лежаки обычно все были заняты, но мы практически и не находились днем в отеле. Завтраки грустные - из привычного только глазунья, круассан и фрукты, остальное азиатский формат, не очень похожий на завтрак. Мой вывод такой, если ехать без завышенных ожиданий, не проводить все время в отеле - это не дорогой и отличный вариант!

Beautiful resort with fabulous facilities. The Arkipela Spa in the resort was beautiful and treatment by Tika was relaxing. It is well worth pre booking a gazebo at the pool. Great way to enjoy a day by the pool.

Chocolate hour buffet for sure. And the food is great. Pool is awesome with enough toys and equipment to entertain the kid.

The whole resort was really well planned out for a holiday with kids, the connected pools and kids slides etc were great. The spa also does kids massages which was great as a single mum; I got to enjoy a massage alongside my child
