Well maintained, clean and friendly staff
The rooms are slightly small but very comfortable. The TV doesn’t have cable. You have to cast your phone on to it.
The Inn was well decorated and clean! The breakfast was delicious and different every morning. We felt very safe, and the neighborhood was beautiful, very close to many things, including Bosque de Chapultepec, Roma Norte, and many more areas. There was a fan provided in the room and windows to open, which helped keep the room nice and cool at night. We were able to leave our bags when we arrived early and were offered to leave them after check out if needed. They also provided umbrellas, which came in handy during the rainy evenings.
The room was a little small and it can be nosy in the morning, wear the earplugs provided!
We had a wonderful stay at La Palomilla for a full week. The location was ideal for exploring many of the city's top attractions. Each room has a theme and highlights Mexican art or culture. La Palomilla is very clean and attractively appointed. The breakfast was delicious each morning and they happily accommodated food allergies and preferences. Freshly squeezed juice and homemade cookies greeted us after each long day of touring around the city. The staff is very warm and friendly and willing to help to you in any way that they can.
The best place to stay if you come to Mexico City! The staff are AMAZING and so KIND!! The room is spacious and so cute! Loved all the windows and lighting. Just really enjoyed everything about my stay here. Also, the breakfast is so yummy each morning. Can’t recommend this place enough. So many good restaurants and coffee shops walking distance from here, which is so convenient. The neighborhood is very cute as well. Thank you to everyone at La Palomilla for making our stay unforgettable.
I wish I could give them 10 stars. We spent an amazing week in Mexico City, and did so many incredible things, yet the best decision we made for the entire trip was staying at La Palomilla. From some of the best breakfasts you’ve ever had, to the cozy and adorable accommodations, to the top notch staff everything had thought and love put into it. We can’t wait to visit again. Pro tip: take them up on some of the offered classes. We took their salsa and tortilla making class and can’t wait to show off what we learned back home.
スタッフは皆親切で心地よく過ごせました。部屋の装飾や朝食も素晴らしかったです。
建物自体は古いですが、よく掃除されているため、特に気になりません。
La Palomilla is in a great location in Roma Norte. They provide a nice breakfast each morning. The rooms are tastefully appointed.
My room was very small. So small I had nowhere to move around and nowhere to sit.
La Palomilla exceeded all of our expectations! We sincerely enjoyed our stay here, they were our home away from home. The breakfast was delicious every time, especially their chilaquiles! 😋 Everyone was so nice, thank you La Palomilla!
We had an outstanding stay at this hotel in Mexico City's Condesa neighborhood! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Every morning, we enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh options for everyone. The hotel was spotless throughout our entire stay. Our room and all the common areas were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Even though the hotel is located in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods, it was surprisingly quiet. The noise levels were almost nonexistent, allowing us to relax and get a great night's sleep every evening. The location couldn't have been better. Condesa is full of amazing restaurants, cafés, parks, and shops, all within easy walking distance. It was the perfect home base for exploring Mexico City while still feeling safe, comfortable, and peaceful. The hotel's pricing was also very reasonable, especially given the exceptional service, prime location, and overall quality. What truly made this hotel stand out was the staff. Every employee we encountered—from the front desk team and housekeeping to the kitchen staff—was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. They genuinely made us feel like part of the family. Our stay during the World Cup (Game 1) made the experience even more memorable. There were several nights that we'd go to the small but nice rooftop, bring some tequila, beers, and talk about the games and events of the day, super chill. Thank you to everyone for making our visit to Mexico City so memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
The staff was very helpful. When I needed to take a bus to a concert venue on the other side of town, they explained how to do it and even lent me a transit card. It’s easy to get Ubers right near La Palomilla. The room had a binder with useful recommendations on what to do on Mondays when most of the museums are closed— so we took their advice and discovered the free “Museo Vivo del Muralismo” where we discovered dozens of amazing murals by Diego Rivera. This hotel used to be a mansion that was converted into a Bed and Breakfast and each room is uniquely styled with cute Mexican decor—our room was the “Lucha Libre” room. They can arrange for massages in your room— we took advantage of that and thoroughly enjoyed our massages. The breakfasts were outstanding and included freshly squeezed juices, homemade jams, pastries and Mexican breakfast specialties. When I craved a little more protein for breakfast, they even gave me made-to-order eggs.
La Palomilla was a wonderful stay in Mexico City. Elvia, Gaby, and Roberto were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean, home cooked breakfast every morning was a treat, and the afternoon agua frescas and cookies were always tasty. We never left hungry! This place is a gem in a great area of Condesa.
My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights recently during our first visit to Mexico City. Service is very warm and welcoming. The hotel is pleasant and comfortable. Daily breakfast included at the communal table was delicious each day and gave us a chance to chat with fellow travelers. The location was perfect for getting about on foot which we prefer but of course it’s also very convenient for Uber or taxi pickup. There are several nearby parks and museums and restaurants, and subway access is not far. The location is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace in the evenings. The staff even surprised me with a special birthday pastry and sang to me on our last morning. I think this is my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in and we enjoyed exploring the city for the first time as well. Can’t wait to return!
Lovely hotel! Was decorated very nicely, the staff was so wonderful and breakfast every morning was delicious.
Perfect location, lovely staff. Rooms are nice and tidy. They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions for the breakfast.
Located in Roma Norte, just a block from Condesa, La Palomilla is a small family-run establishment with seven guest rooms on a quiet residential street. The location provides easy access to both neighborhoods while remaining removed from much of the traffic and noise. The rooms are on the small side, with limited storage for personal belongings. There are a few open shelves and a small rack for hanging clothes. There is also a long shelf above the bed, which came in handy. The king bed was firm but comfortable. The room also had a desk and chair. The bathroom was average in size, with a good-sized shower, good water pressure, and reliable hot water. However, the water temperature was touchy and needed to be adjusted continuously to maintain a consistent temperature. The Wi-Fi worked well in the downstairs common area but not in our room. There was supposed to be a separate login for the guest rooms, but I never saw it listed among the available networks. The room did have plenty of outlets for charging electronics. This is a homey place with friendly service. They offer juice and cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast is a full meal, starting with fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, followed by a main plate that changes daily. During our stay they served chalupas with pork, huevos al albañil, and vegetable enchiladas. If the main dish does not appeal to you, they can usually offer something more to your taste. Everything we tried was well prepared and tasty.
small room with limited storage. Not good Wifi in the rooms.
The location is perfect, right at the boarder of Condesa and Roma Norte. Safe and walkable.
Great location, attentive staff and yummy breakfast. We really loved our stay!
King size bed was king size width, but not king size length .
This is such a cute hotel in a great location! Delicious breakfasts, a lovely rooftop terrace, and unique, clean rooms. Highly recommend!
I think I found this place through a travel blog and I'm glad I did! The location was great and everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was made fresh every day and it was absolutely delicious. I was in the Emo room which has a bathroom in the hall, but it wasn't an issue for me at all and I stayed for a week. It's right across the hall and locked the whole time. I was traveling solo and the place was clean, quiet, and had great decor. I really appreciated the staff who were there during my stay: Aida, Elvia, Gaby, Eduardo, and Gerardo. They were fantastic.
The staff is so lovely and accommodating, they really went above and beyond to give me an early check in, which was so appreciated. Also, do not sleep on the daily breakfast - everything is delicious and prepared with such care!
I had such a wonderful experience at this charming little Mexican boutique. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay feel special—every detail was handled with care. From thoughtfully accommodating our off-hour meal requests to offering helpful directions and personalized recommendations, they made everything feel effortless. Their warmth and attentiveness created a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere that turned a simple visit into something genuinely memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for heartfelt hospitality and a unique, personal touch.
Nothing
Fantastic location in a very nice and safe neighborhood, excellent breakfast, very attentive and supportive staff. Thank you!
Staff were very friendly
Above our second floor room the Noise from roof top woke us up several times.
Great location. Excellent breakfast. Communicative and lovely staff. Was a great stay and really enjoyed meeting the other guests around the breakfast table in the morning.
The hallway can be quite noisy as there are no soft furnishings/carpeting to absorb some of the noise, so it would be advisable to BYO ear plugs, however if you forget them there are ear plugs provided in the room (which is a nice touch!).
We had a lovely week staying at La Palomilla! It was our first time in Mexico City and the b&b was a perfect way to ground our trip. La Palomilla was on a beautiful quiet street, well located, and the space is decorated beautifully and kept well clean. We were grateful for the hospitality, particularly Elvia's kindness and flexibility in helping us navigate our plans. The breakfasts each day are beautifully crafted and delicious - such a great way to start the day. One thing to note is that the rooms are not particularly soundproof (or at least in the Jr. Suite) and the space is quite tight. Because of this, you can hear the doors opening and closing on your floor and also hear sounds through the courtyard at the start of breakfast (this is helped by keeping the bathroom door closed). They provide ear plugs but those sensitive to noise may want to consider this in their decision.
We had a great stay here in the Tolu room. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed. They served wonderful breakfast each day with fresh fruit and coffee/tea/juice. It is in a great location as well. Close to many shops and restaurants. The street it is on is also quiet. If I were to ever come back to CDMX, I would book here again in a heartbeat.
Positive This B&B is well situated for Chapultepec attractions. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The shower is excellent. The bed was comfy. There is also a nice roof terrace to chill out. Negative The room was too small for the price. There was no room for luggage. The wifi did not work at all in the room. It only worked in the lobby area. It can be noisy at night time with other guests coming and going.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The B&B was in a great location, close to many amenities and great restaurants. The hotel was decorated beautifully with mexican art, the bed was very comfortable. The room was small but it had everything that we needed. Breakfast was lovely.
Our master suite was charming and comfy, with a good-sized bathroom. The staff was wonderful, with special shout-outs to Elvia who made us feel at home right away, Aida who gave us breakfast, and Gerardo who helped with luggage and put together bags of takeaway snacks for us when we had to leave for the airport too early for the hotel's breakfast. All were so kind. The location was perfect--walking distance from Bosque de Chapultepec and its museums and zoo, so many good restaurants (with vegetarian options too), and Parque Espana and Parque Mexico and the surrounding neighborhoods, beautiful and with lush plants and trees. My daughter and I slept well after full days of exploring. I'm so glad I chose Palomilla!
Lovely spot tucked in an alley off a quiet neighborhood street, yet walkable - or short Uber ride - to many sites, restaurants, etc. Wonderful breakfasts prepared by friendly, accommodating house staff. Host/manager is responsive to needs and requests.
Stil! En zeer goede matras. Bed perfect voor 1 persoon. Voor 2 zou het wel veel te klein zijn. Badkamertje zeer klein, maar modern en perfect in orde. Aangename zeep ter beschikking. Keukenpersoneel was supervriendelijk.
Everything! The staff is the best
Nothing. Everything was wonderful
The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and great location made for a easy and relaxing first trip to Mexico City!
We stayed one night at La Palomilla, and the staff were so kind to us! Check-in is friendly and easy. You are given a fob for the front door and a key to your room. There is a small reception desk and a long dining table where guests can eat a communal breakfast and chat with each other - swapping tips on where to visit. There are also two individual tables to eat at if you are not chatty in the morning. I have friends who would really need this! And there is a sofa area where you can sit and hang out too. You can access the kitchen where breakfast is prepared and put your drinks or food in the fridge, which is a nice touch. There is also a fabulous roof terrace where you can have your morning coffee, or bring take-out for lunch or dinner and eat al fresco. The decor throughout is charming, modern Mexican. Really tasteful, cute and perfect for photos. It's selfie Insta heaven. Our room was well-equipped and clean, with a lovely welcome note from the staff. We had a double bed, complimentary robes, a safe, a desk, and a heater, although we didn't need it. The mattress was comfortable, and our bathroom was modern and clean. All of this is great, but staff are the people who make or break a hotel, and the staff at La Palomilla are lovely. Helpful, kind, not intrusive, but always willing to help. They let us leave our luggage on site before check -in and after check-out, which we really appreciated because nobody wants to lug suitcases around Mexico City when they are on a layover. We are super happy we stayed here, the price was fair, and we would recommend it to friends.
Amazing breakfast. Very attentive staff and cooks. Perfect location.
Wifi was intermittent.
La Palomilla is a very sweet, clean and small B&B. The staff could not have been nicer and the full breakfasts were amazing. Room and common areas were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when visiting Mexico City.
The room was a bit on the small side. I will see if there’s a bigger room available when I return on a visit.
If you care about your footprint while traveling, La Palomilla is the place to stay. I was so impressed by their commitment to sustainability - from the eco-friendly toiletries and water refill stations to the beautiful upcycled decor. It’s rare to find a boutique stay that feels this authentic and responsible. They truly treat you like family (the name "Palomilla" means a close group of friends, and it shows!). A 5-star experience for both the soul and the planet.
The people were incredibly kind
Nothing
Very professional and dependable in everything they do! The experiences derived from them are authentic and memorable. Keep it up please
Located in the trendy neighborhood of Roma norte. The location is as good as it gets! Finding accommodation options in the area is quite easy, what is not so easy is finding accommodation alternatives that are owned by locals, that have good practices, and that truly make an effort to provide a great service and unique experience! I visit CDMX very often and now I know where I will stay.
Lovely little guest house run by a small friendly team. Spotless comfortable bedroom and bathroom, roof terrace, delicious breakfasts, safe area, near a Metro, very quiet at night so we had a great nights sleep every time! Would recommend!
My stay (3 nights) at La Palomilla was wonderful. From my welcome to the breakfast to my room, everything was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooftop terrace is a great place in which to relax. The location is on a quiet street in the residential Condesa neighborhood; several nice coffee shops and restaurants are within a few blocks. Chapultepec Park, which has several museums and the zoo, is a 10-minute walk.
Note: If you are looking for a late-night, partying neighborhood with clubs and bars, this is not the place for you!
Really lovely place. Fantastic location, right off a main street in the Condesa/Roma area, but down an alley so relatively quiet and very discreet entrance. I felt very safe, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were incredible. My only issue was noise within the building. It carried up from the kitchen and breakfast room loudly (conversations could be heard clearly one floor up), and the doors opening and closing from rooms on the same floor were so incredibly loud it was hard to sleep (including what seemed like a separate bathroom that maybe my neighbors had to go into that was closer to my room? I loudly heard some retching one night) . Otherwise, this is a great little home away from home in CDMX.
La Palomilla is an excellent choice for Roma Norte! There are stairs and no elevator but that is ok.The bedrooms are big, super clean and the bathrooms have everything. The breakfasts are perfect! The family is kind and welcoming. I highly recommend La Palomilla!
We loved staying here, it’s a very special place in Mexico City. All the staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Amazing fresh traditional homemade breakfasts and juices and cakes through the day. Great location for Roma Norte and Condesa . We stayed at the start and at the end of our trip and we would love to return again.
The location was great. The breakfasts and mid-day juice and cookies were fantastic. The women who worked the kitchen and the night staff were wonderful. They maintained the rooms great during our stay. The decor was really nice.
They promote tours that are way more expensive then the ones I found and suggest you take a specific car service from the airport-- it turns out to be much more expensive than Uber. Makes you wonder if they're making money off this. Also, the management was not responsive when I had questions during my stay (the onsite staff tried to help but the language barrier was tricky.) The rooms are a bit small
La Palomilla is one of my first choices while visiting CDMX. I am particularly impressed by the hospitality of the front desk. Pro tip- when booking an Uber walk to the corner because for some reason they don't recognize the hotel's address.
Nothing- all good.
The place is exactly next to park "España" with lots of dogwalkers. The place is famous for its Mexican and European cuisine where cafes and restaurants are full of foreigners at night. By the way, its in walking distance from the castle of chapultepec! However, going back to art deco Mexican style La Palomilla where i stayed and had comfortable time, I'd say lots of positive things to this very local, nice, and friendly place with a good kitchen, cosy beds, a great shower with lavanda scence toiletries, and a great breakfast.
Constantly replace batteries in remotes, please. And a TV could be bigger for some boarders.
We had an amazing time at La Palomilla! We were there for 7 days and Elvia, Eduardo, Gaby, Gerardo and Roberto were all incredibly helpful and took great care of us. The rooms are small and cozy with details everywhere you look. Gaby makes the best Mexican breakfasts, always served with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. They are located in a walkable area with many good restaurants and coffee shops around it. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Great location! Great breakfast! Lovely staff!
Would recommend a suitcase foldable stand, shelving in bathroom to put items.
The whole staff team was really lovely and super helpful. This is a beautiful, charming B&B with delicious breakfasts and an emphasis on highlighting local art and artisans, so if you’re looking for somewhere to stay that isn’t just a generic stopover, this is a great choice! The other guests we met were great as well! It’s also in a great location, quiet and close to Condesa. Oh, and a nice hot shower!
Just be prepared for rooms that are a little cramped (but still comfortable and clean!) and sound carries throughout the hallway/stairs, so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs. These are small things in my opinion and would not stop me from staying here again.
This was such a great place to stay during our visit I couldn’t recommend it enough! Initially I booked this hotel after seeing the breakfasts that were included and they did not disappoint. Fresh juice, fresh fruit spreads and daily changing breakfasts were all great. The staff were all very nice and always checking in if we’d need our room cleaned. The room would feel so fresh and clean when we’d come back from a long day walking in the city. The location was great, whether you plan to walk/bike everywhere or Uber all the time.
Felt welcomed the instant I walked in! Everything is beautifully designed and decorated and full of local artisanal ware which I loved! Great convenient neighbourhood…incredibly clean and cute rooms! The breakfast is unlike any I’ve experienced before…it felt like family sitting down to eat traditional Mexican breakfast dishes served by the nicest two ladies! Also, I loved the terrace which is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring a wonderful city!
A peaceful and charming place in the heart of Mexico. With a mix of traditional Mexican style and modern comfort, the hotel makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The rooms are decorated with cool local art, making them a relaxing and cozy spot to rest. What really makes this hotel special is the amazing service. The staff treat you like family and always go out of their way to help. When we needed medical assistance, they took care of everything quickly and professionally. The hotel is also close to great places to visit, so it's a perfect base for exploring the area. Whether you’re looking for a chill getaway or an adventure, Hotel de la Palomilla is a great choice for a memorable stay.
Amazing place with lots of style, soul and care for its visitors. Situated in the best neighbourhood, close to many great restaurants, shops and bars and green parks, this is the place to stay if you don’t want another anonymous 5 star hotel. The rolls are super tidy and beautifully decorated and offer all you need with a sustainable twist. Breakfast is served at a long table, welcoming single travelers as well as couples. You can easily reach all tourist attractions by foot or uber and we felt save walking at night home. A nice hair salon / nail spa is just on the other side of the hotel, so for very little money (vs Europe) you can add beauty to your list. The stiff will also be very helpful with tour organising and sharing their favourite places. I’ll definitely be back!
I really loved my stay at La Palomilla! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a really nice experience and I really liked the coffee. As a smaller operation, it was nice to see the same small group of guests every morning too. This made my vacation as a solo traveler a little bit more social, and gave opportunities to discuss fun things to do in Mexico City. The B&B is in a very nice part of town. It is only a few blocks away from Chapultapec park so there are great options for runners! There are a few parks and greenways in the area, which were well-lit and safe at night. I also appreciated the rooftop balcony, which was a pleasant area to hang out even in November. My room was very comfortable, and the cleaning was well done. I slept better at La Palomilla than I usually do when away from home. The B&B is off on a side street so it is in a very quiet area, and la Palomilla has established quiet hours for the building, too.
I really enjoyed my stay at La Palomilla. The room was really welcoming as I appreciated the local candy and fresh water that was ready when I arrived. They also provided some yummy home-made cookies. I was able to walk to a wonderful restaurant as the location is perfect. I love the breakfast in the morning and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Mexico City.
The location was great, all of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable and organized for our Mexico City adventure. The breakfasts were delicious Mexican style breakfasts.
It could be a bit noisy at night.
Very friendly staff and we loved how at home we felt - you can really relax and wander down and make a drink in the kitchen. Breakfasts were different every day and always something interesting, and spicy. The location works well as you can easily walk to Roma and Condesa, both quiet and attractive neighbourhoods with a lot of cafes and restaurants. The rooms have real personality and the beds were so comfortable! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a more personal and characterful experience of Mexico City

It was great, perfect location, delicious food, comfortable setting!
All perfect and great!
We loved La Palomilla! Located on a quiet street in a convenient, safe and leafy neighborhood, La Palomilla offers authentic, delicious, and beautifully plated breakfasts. The staff is warm and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate, beds and linens high quality, shower is great. Each room is delightfully decorated in a different theme, colorful yet minimalistic. As mentioned in other posts, thank you to Eduardo, Elvia, Gaby, Gerado, and Roberto for making our stay so special!
El personal es muy amable.
Tener el baño fuera
Wanted accommodations that would not feel like a business trip. Success! This is a charming, local experience where experience matched expectations set in advertisements and other reviews. Clean, quiet, friendly, safe. Three story climb to room as outlined. Breakfast was OK but elected to go elsewhere on last day.
I just had the most fabulous few days at La Palomilla Bed and Breakfast in Roma Norte, CDMX and I'm already missing it! The hospitality here is truly impeccable—every detail is taken care of, making you feel instantly welcomed. Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. And the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! A perfect start to every day of exploring. The location is a perfect base for walking to so many great restaurants, museums and cool parks. It’s also an easy pick up for Uber trips to neighbourhoods and activities a littler further away. If you're planning a trip to Mexico City, you have to check our La Palomilla! Highly recommend! 💖
Our entire stay at La Palomilla was absolutely amazing! The excellent food, beautiful rooms and rooftop terrace immediately welcomed us to the city, but above all it was the staff kindness that made us feel right at home at this bed and breakfast. From giving us a map with tons of recommendations when we arrived, to making us a breakfast to-go for our early morning airport departure, everything from start to finish was wonderful. A very big shoutout to Elvia, Eduardo, Roberto, Gerardo and Gaby, we're so grateful to have stayed at La Palomilla!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay here. The staff was attentive and kind. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was perfect and accessible. Highly recommend staying at La Palomilla! Some reviews noted having to tote suitcases upstairs - La Palomilla now has a luggage lift to carry your bags upstairs.
Such a charming small hotel located in La Roma neighborhood, with furnishings and decor supplied by local artisans. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and an astonishingly good, abundant and homemade breakfast is served daily
Clean and beautifully designed.
The name isn’t displayed outside so it was tricky to find.
We had the BEST stay at La Palomilla and can't wait to go back. We went on a family trip to celebrate my mom's birthday and took over the entire place which really made it feel like being in a private home. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful and the gourmet breakfasts were amazing. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit daily and the chilaquiles were a real highlight! The staff even surprised us when we came down to breakfast for my mom's birthday and the dining room was all decorated and they had a beautiful birthday cake for her!! Truly above and beyond our expectations. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable with every modern amenity you could want and each room had different wonderful artwork. I can't rave about La Palomilla enough!
We first stayed here in February 2025 and were excited to return. On our second visit, we stayed an extra night to enjoy their hospitality. This will always be our stopover when we visit family. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is exceptional, like we would come to if it were just a restaurant. The neighborhood is wonderfully located. I so appreciate that we can leave our bags on the last day and adventure, knowing we have a base to stop over at before we head to the airport. After returning home, our 3-year-old said they want to live in the hotel in Mexico City. We're all looking forward to staying again.
What a gorgeous place to stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the bed was comfy, the shower was amazing. I would highly recommend staying at this property for your visit to Mexico City. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood that is also extremely walkable. There are great restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby, such a great location. To top it all off it is a meaningful property supporting locals and is also woman and locally owned.
L'accueil, le rapport qualité prix, l'emplacement, le calme malgré que l'on se trouve en plein Mexico

I went to Mexico City to participate in a Taco tour experience at Aura (a friend of mine owns the business) and she recommended to stay at La palomilla. At first, arriving at LA Palomilla seems like arriving into your grandparents home, in a very old neighborhood, unpretentious. But then the staff and the place starts to grow on you; the simpleness of the property, the friendliness of the kitchen staff, the cleanliness of the room and common areas makes it a very pleasant place to stay. Location is superb, walking distance from parks and restaurants is ideal to take a walk in the morning. I loved this place. My only feedback would be: work on reducing some of the noises.
The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect.
only thing I did not like was the my bed was very uncomfortable.
The Staff was so friendly and attentive! They really worked together as a team to make our stay warm and welcomed!... The Breakfast was AMAZING!!! it was like a breakfast food tour each morning - delicious and a true Mexican style variety from the fresh fruit plate, main breakfast entree (Ex: mole, chile chilaquiles, eggs with red sauce, etc.), mexican bread, homemade jams, coffee, aqua frescas, etc. Each evening, they laid out a fresh pitcher of aqua frescas and homemade cookies/brownies. Nice Touch!! Did I mention all food was made from "scratch".... We had our own dedicated cooks (Elvia, Cuby, Alda)! Great Location within the heart of Condesa - easy stroll to the parks and casual through strolls through neighborhood taco bars, shopping etc; quaint rooms with a variety of flare in each room! Nice little welcoming touches we well, roof top was great to hang out as well. Lastly, Edwardo at the front desk, was great in explaining the dishes to us, sights and recommendations to see and do - he was out main "go to" person! We learned so much from him.... Mandating the nite desk was Roberto and Gerardo who greeted us when we came in at nite. Big thank you to all of the La Palomilla Bed & Breakfast Staff members!!! You made out stay memorable!!
The breakfast was amazing, and the welcoming and accommodating nature of the staff was remarkable. Location was easy for sight-seeing and eating!
Because of the room we chose, our bathroom was separate from the bedroom which was a little inconvenient for night time bathroom breaks. But, great value for the price!

We had a wonderful stay at La Palomilla! Everyone was so kind, accommodating and welcoming. The daily breakfasts were absolutely delicious and such a treat. Everything is very clean and the decor is beautiful. Location is unbeatable! This b&b is the perfect spot to stay while exploring Mexico City.
I loved my stay at La Palomilla—I'll be staying there when I visit CDMX from now on. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious!
The location and breakfast were fine. The night person was friendly.
The owners, despite saying they would see us, never showed up. the place is very over-priced. we had a tiny room that we paid over $200 a night for. We just came from a different hotel that was the same price and the room was twice the size, there was a happy hour for guests every day and the staff were amazing. would not recommend
The spot was great and the staff were so kind and helpful! Really enjoyed our stay and we loved the surrounding neighborhood. The rooftop is so lovely too. The only reason I didn’t give it a full five was that I didn’t realize our bathroom was not connected to our bedroom and was in the shared hallway but that wasn’t much of a problem regardless. Great spot, thanks for having us!!
Amazing option to stay in Mexico City - feels like a home away from home - very cozy with amazing breakfast 🩷 Will definitely come back’nnn
My wife and I did a week in CDMX with a mix of working and fun. This BnB was wonderful and super friendly to us. The breakfast and cookies were very tasty, the hospitality was top notch, and we even had a massage and facial! Walking distance to everything and very safe and clean. It's a great choice and we would certainly come back.
I spent two nights at La Palomilla and highly recommend it. My room was nice and also quiet. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. I also appreciated the little ‘extra touches’. The location was very convenient and close to many restaurants and attractions. I would stay at La Palomilla again!
La Palomilla was an incredible place to stay! My partner and I were there for a week - throughout, the service was wonderful, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable (with an A/C unit!!), and the daily breakfast was AMAZING. We also loved the family vibe and ability to connect with other travelers during our stay. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The location couldn’t have been better, with shops, restaurants, and plenty of things to see all within easy walking distance. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
La Palomilla was the perfect spot to stay for my trip to Mexico City. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars in Condessa. Breakfast was delicious! The hosts were so friendly and helpful. They even had a bag breakfast ready for us at 5am when we had to leave early for the airport. I would definitely stay here again!
I stayed in a Junior Suite for one week. I loved the warm reception and the delicious Mexican breakfasts which were different every day. Guests eat breakfast together at one large table - this turned out to be very pleasant and useful as people were very friendly and shared information about their experiences. I also enjoyed the terrace on the top floor. It is important to highlight the helpfulness of Eduardo - he provided valuable suggestions before and during my stay on things ranging from jazz clubs to restaurants and tours. My only negative comment relates to the size of the room in the Junior Suite - it is rather small. Due to that, for a truly wonderful experience, I would recommend staying in a Master Suite. That is what I plan to do in the future when I am able to return.
