Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Very good location, room was small but space smartly used, so we were quite comfortable.Really good shower and nice bathroom. friendly helpful staff. It’s a good hotel for exploring soho area.
Nothing
I enjoyed the location, it was fantastic for getting to explore the majority of London for my first international visit. The bed was a little softer than I'm used to but not bad. I did underestimate the "coziness" of the room. I'm 6'3" and having the bed boxed in on all sides was tricky but not impossible to deal with. But everything was extremely easy to get to from where we were and the room was nice and quiet despite being on a busy street.
I personally didn't enjoy how cramped the bed was or that my partner was basically in a pocket underneath the roof wall. The room was a little smaller than what i was expecting but not bad over all. Next time i'll go with a bigger room.
Immaculate room
Very small room
Location is great
Very small room, no windows (this was stated in reservation), room in basement. Our experience was not good at all. The hotel and the rooms were very small, but the biggest issue was that we found insects that appeared to be bed bugs in both rooms, which made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. The staff did offer to relocate us to another room and tried to help with the situation. In the end, we were also able to find a solution and get a refund for the additional night we were supposed to stay. We appreciate that the staff tried to help, but unfortunately, finding bed bugs in both rooms made the overall experience very unpleasant and stressful. We definitely did not feel comfortable continuing our stay.
FABULOUS LOCATION Great price for the middle of Soho Clean and well managed hotel
It is interesting to stay in such a tiny room, but being in the middle of Soho, you are not expected to be in the room much.
Great location and comfy bed- even if it is up against the walls!
You have a strange curtain that comes from the door to a fraction of the bed - not sure why!? Bed up against 3 of the walls slightly claustrophobic and doesnt give 2 adults space to get dressed, or have to move around each other for bed and bathroom
Location
Incredibly small room with the bed touching three walls. The room was in the basement, no window and I was woken up at 7am by the pub next door who were rolling beer barrels around.
Emplacement idéal, à proximité de tout
Chambre petite pour le prix
I had a seperate flat in the street around the corner. Which was good anyway.
The people upstairs dragging furniture around at 2 in the morning . Hard to do since theirs only a bed and a armchair. They were very heavy when they walked around as well. Same in the morning. The fridge needs to be placed outside of the cupboard space as their is no air circulating around the fridge and it wasnt staying very cold. Room also needs a coffee table, so you can eat from. I was forever spilling things on the white bedding.
Great location and interiors. Beautiful room and hotel, well organised considering the size of rooms.
Room size very size however was as described and expected based on description and square footage. Value for money poor based on room size.
Staff, location, quality of everything was beyond what i had to pay.
Nothing.ill book a larger room next time but this is perfect fo a west end visit.
Central and quiet and staff were lovely.
My room was literally a closet! No windows. Is that even legal?! I expected small but not a closet.
Well located. The room albeit small was clean, cool and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great and the bathroom was just right.
Perhaps expensive for a small room with no breakfast included.
Location
Clean and tidy room that was really comfortable to stay in. Enjoyed the bar and service alongside the friendly staff. Ahmed did a really great job with the romantic upgrade package and setting up our room for check in

great location
expected the room to be as it presented , however there was no water in the room, just some glasses. no tea or coffee making facilities.

Extremely small room. So small that two people couldn’t even step around each other. Add two suitcases and you could even open a door.
Location is perfect
The room is as too small…
Exceptional location, can’t be better
The Room is too small for 2 persons & no table or desk

Great location, clean comfy room
High end boutique vibe. Great location in the middle of Soho.
I had an excellent experience; the cheaper rooms are tiny but they are very upfront about that, but space is utilised very cleverly. I’ve stayed here many times, the only advice I would give, is avoid the windowless rooms in the basement, there’s an overpowering strong damp smell down there.
Location Atmosphere Staff politeness and helpfulness
Nothing to dislike
Amazing location in the heart of Soho and the room was incredibly quiet considering. The room itself was small(as we were expecting) but they made the most of the space, with an amazing bed and lovely bathroom. We had two fabulous nights.
A minor quibble but no kettle in the room.
Hard to find entrance but happy with overall
No window
The rooms and service were great
Nothing
The room was tiny, I think they try and pass it off as being in central London but it was a glorified coffin with no window.
Service wise it was frustrating as I needed some time outside of my glorified coffin to eat some breakfast. I am coeliac and had to buy breakfast outside of the hotel and was not allowed to eat it in the bar - even know they could not provide me with anything themselves as they only had pastries.
Location was excellent, staff were super helpful and friendly and the room was incredible
I liked everything about it - there were no negatives!
Location was good, decor was pretty and staff were generally friendly and welcoming
Room was windowless and tiny, no amenities in the room, no storage in the room, staff member didn’t seem to have any solutions to any problems.
Very central good location, staff very welcoming.
Very small room, not enough hangers ,would be great to have the option of breakfast.
Location was fantastic, very central and easy to access
Room was on the small side, but that was to be expected in that location
Location perfect. we went to Ronnie Scotts. Bed was nice and large and the shower was good . Got the basics spot on
Would have been nice if the room was bigger but understand for the money charged in this prime location you can't have everything
De locatie was top
Kamer was een beetje klein maar dat wisten we van te voren
The facilities
It was quite dusty
Locatie is absoluut top.
The only good thing about this hotel is its location.
The room I booked was completely different from the room we were given. Our room was changed twice, and we were eventually directed to a room in a completely different building. It was on the 7th floor, and there was no elevator. The towels also smelled bad. Honestly, anyone with common sense would not stay at this hotel. I strongly advise against staying here. Deceiving people is not a nice thing to do.
Great location.
Very small rooms.
The location was great
The hairdryer kept shortening, the doors were very heavy to open and the lift wasn’t working
Was absolutely gorgeous, wonderful staff and in a great location x
Ephrem at the front desk was wonderful. He was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly! We really enjoyed our stay at Mimi’s Hotel. The rooms were comfortable with stylish decor, and the Soho location was perfect. We’d definitely stay here again!
It’s in a fabulous location and we will stay again for one night.
The bed fit into the room on three sides - I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed. We we both stood up the room was full - though for the location and price - perfect for one night at the theatre.
מיקום מרכזי ונוח
חדר מאד קטן
The property was very luxurious but extremely small bedrooms. You have to be prepared to literally use the room for sleeping only.
The location of the hotel is so noisy. We were kept awake almost all night by people leaving venues outside the hotel playing loud music and Cars going very noisily down the small streets. The staff were unable to do anything about it. We live in a city and are used to noise but this was exceptionally bad.
Beliggenheten
Speilet og lys med speil. Ikke plass til koffert .
Geweldige locatie, hele mooie (bad)kamer, lekker bed, behulpzaam personeel, airco deed het goed.
Niks
Location was great for staying in central London and access to all the touristy stuff. It's a very busy area with lots of people out at night. The room was small, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The smallest room I've ever stayed in (and I've booked cheap hotels in New York and Tokyo, so I know small rooms). It was a struggle to open the door and get in the room with a bag without bumping into the walls. The drinks at the bar were basically glasses full of ice with a bit of liquid inside.
Location, comfy beds, character and peacefulness at night
Could do with a bit more clothing hooks or shelves in rooms for storage
Central, boutique luxury, quiet and safe
It was fab, so I liked everything!
Location to west end.
Noisy, given soho location. Small rooms. They did state this so its hardly a surprise.
The hotel itself is in a superb location right in the beating heart of Soho. It is beautifully decorated inside, some lovely design accents and attention to detail. Staff were really lovely and helpful.
The room was absolutely minute - like, the width of a double bed. It's a good job I'm a short arse lol. The hotel does state that these are mini rooms, but for the price I did expect somewhere to put my cup of tea by the bed. Also, because the rooms are windowless and painted a dark colour, they felt quite claustrophobic, especially when the light was out and it was pitch darkness. That said, the en suite bathroom was pretty ingenious for the space!
Location
Small room
Great location and very good value for money. Rooms small but comfortable as described. Studio room was located on a street that was vibrant and loud until the early hours (to be expected given the location) the windows actually did a great job of keeping the noise to a minimum, you can slightly feel some bass, but didn’t bother us.
We had one room in the main building, and one of the studios just a street over (not a problem, as aware it wasn’t in the main building), however the studio was slightly underwhelming. Odd smell of cigarettes coming from the bathroom on day one, and throughout the stay. Large bed, but not the most comfortable, and lacked decent pillows. The only real upside of this room was the extra space to get ready if there’s two of you. No lift for the studios, minor issue though, lots of building similar to this in the area so not a big deal for us.
Location was great, rooms were clean and the staff were very welcoming.
Rooms were a bit on the small side, no evening bar for guests and our friends staying in the same size room paid less by cancelling and rebooking closer to the stay date
Top Lage, sehr gemütliche, plüschige Atmosphäre
Ein Zimmer ohne Fenster ist ok, muss aber dann günstiger angeboten werden
Location is great, can't beat that
Rooms are extremely small
The butique style of the hotel
Rooms are too small but we expected that as we have stayed before.
Excellent location and great service
Some rooms can be very small but are perfect for sleeping very well and comfortably! You don’t go to London to spend time at the hotel room!
Nice boutique experience at a sensible price in central London (Soho and theatre district) . Stayed in the ‘annex’ in Greek Street. (No lift) Room was cosy but well furnished. Lovely big bed (king/queen?) nice linen, towels etc. and fluffy dressing gown. Would recommend.
Came to London to see a show. This place is perfectly located, spotless and with a really relaxed ambience but right in the heart of soho. Close to everything. I booked a small double (suitable for one) knowing exactly what i was getting but it blew me away for the price. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a great bed for sleep and tv. The shower was fantastic and despite overlooking Frith St it was fully soundproofed! I was here on the hottest day of the year. 38 degrees. The whole hotel has a central air filtration system which keeps the climate perfect. AND it has aircon if you need a cold blast. Cocktails in the bar are delish and all of the staff were utterly charming. Definitely making this my short stay bolthole. Always love Molton Brown toiletries too.... real value for money.
Hygiëne en personeel
Oppervlakte kamer
Location is 10/10. The rooms are very clean. One of the cutest hotel in London, the décoration design is soooo cosy et chic. The service is great and staff Lovely ! I recommend !!
Great location. Really clean.
The room was extremely small. We didn’t realise we had booked without a window. So it was more of a capsule stay.
Friendly and helpful staff for checkin, room very clean and had all necessary facilities
not a major problem but rooms are very small; no room at bottom of bed so one person has to climb over the other to get into/out of bed - bit of an issue if need to get up in night.
Location, decor, friendly staff and lovely rooms!
N/a
The room was small as advertised, but was very clean and had modern decor. The shower room was really nice and the shower was powerful. The reception is very nice and a good place to have a nightcap before turning in for the night. Staff were very polite and were very attentive. Great location, central to eating places and the theatre and only a small walk from the tube. Very easy to get to and about from. Will stay again, very happy.
It was great, just the room size was small - but the hotel were upfront about it and it was very clean and did what we needed it to. No complaints at all.
We loved the location of this boutique hotel. Our room was compact but spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed and with an en suite every bit as stylish as the rest of the hotel. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient, particularly Jose on Reception. We’ll definitely return.
Amazing central location in the heart of London.
Nothing. It’s just great.
Stayed here before, the location is superb - close to theatres and restaurants and a short walk from Chinatown. Small rooms but quirky and fun. Bathrooms are lovely, full rain showers and comfy towels. The Lux rooms are particularly eccentric and one gets a feeling of a sumptuous boudoir. Nice little bar located in the main entrance. Surprisingly quiet given its location. Can't think of much that is negative. Thanks again Mimi's x
Not really a 'dislike' but the tea and coffee facilities are super-basic. If you're not a coffee drinker, the Nespresso tea pod supplied is weak and quite tasteless and the cups are small - some room for improvement
We had a great 1 nights stay in Queen bed with no window room, which was in the basement. The check in and out was quick and straight forward. The room was compact and wasn’t much storage space but workable for 1 night. However the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom good. All clean and very quiet. It’s in a perfect location in soho with ample bars, restaurants and shop nearby. Would recommend and stay again.
If you’re looking for a stylish base in central London, Mimi’s Hotel Soho is a fantastic choice. The location couldn’t be better – just a couple of minutes’ walk to Soho, Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The interiors are absolutely delicious. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, with a boutique luxury feel that’s cosy, moody and incredibly Instagram-worthy. The cocktail bar is equally impressive, serving genuinely delicious drinks in a gorgeous setting. The rooms are definitely on the smaller side, but that’s exactly what you expect from a boutique hotel in the heart of Soho. For a one-night stay, they were absolutely ideal. Despite the compact size, the finish and attention to detail are beautiful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. If you’re planning a city break where you’ll spend most of your time out exploring London, I’d happily recommend Mimi’s. Beautiful design, an unbeatable location and excellent cocktails , we’d definitely stay again.
Central but tiny rooms
issues with water pressure and heat
Perfect location in Soho and quiet room even with people partying outside on the streets.
Just the ac did not go under 18c and the fan was noisy but otherwise great
Great location
Took a little while to find me on the system
Great location, room was clean and tidy
Location.
Rooms are like broom cupboards, no windows no power sockets. Staff are ignorant and rude.
The Air Conditioning was very nice given the heat wave. The construction all around us on the street was terrible (the windows did block out a good deal of the noise, but not completely). The pub next door, with patrons spilling out into the streets every evening was a big downside. The noise and garbage they produced was disgusting. Mimi's staff was consistently unfriendly. When we checked in, the person behind the counter told us breakfast was included in our rate. In the morning, we were told breakfast was not included. We argued a bit in the morning but they did not give a single shi*t or apologize for any confusion. Or even offer that morning's breakfast on the house as an apology for the confusion with further breakfasts not included. Even a smile would have gone a long way. Nothing. The receptionists were always cold, unfriendly and unwelcoming. Where TF did you get them from. Send them to hospitality school or replace. They were T E R R I B L E. We started to just ignore them when we came back in from our day visiting London. They were literally the worst part of my day. The entire boutique hotel was sad, run down, shabby and slightly dirty. The small tables in the lobby always had leftover drink rings from the night before. I felt slightly dirty whenever I was in the hotel. Not the way I want to be feeling. The room door was excessively heavy and hard to open. I apprecate that that also made them whisper close, but hell, I really had to put my back into it. The side shelves on either side of the bed were insufficient and I kept having things slide off because there was almost no space. The heavy curtains were great for blocking out the sun and noise but we had to have them constantly closed because of the construction crews. The large King bed made it nearly impossible to maneuver around the side near the window. Lucky me got the side by the window. All in all a terrible experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone, outside of a mortal enemy. I was expecting a boutique experience and came away with a Norman Bates experience.
I LOVE mimis I stay here every time I am in London. The hotel is perfect x
I had a great stay in the tiniest hotel room I’ve ever encountered in my life! I’m only 5ft1 and feel like anyone taller wouldn’t actually fit, especially in the bathroom. But the bed was comfy and I slept really well. My only criticism was a lack of tea and coffee making facilities. I would have loved to be able to make a brew in the morning. I feel like something could be squeezed in somewhere
The room was very very small
Centralt
Jättetrångt rum, lite ovälkomnande och arrogant personal
Very small room but was good for the price and to just sleep was all that was needed. Very clean and well equipped
Just as described in photos and images. Not the biggest rooms but we were not there all day. Perfectly located and easy to get around. Lovely staff and very clean. Will go back again for sure.
it was a central locations and lovely with ac in the heat wave.
room was a bit small
Lovely room and bathroom
Nothing
Lovely hotel, amazing location. Will definitely come back
Super helpful and friendly staff. Good sound insulation (it was very noisy in the street on a Friday night, but we got a sound sleep).
Nothing. It was a pleasant stay
Perfect location: Restaurants and shopping etc are right nearby. Little Italy was a great choice for food. Great rooms: Clean, cosy, nicely sized, and very quiet, not once did I experience any disturbance from other customers. The outside noise may be a bit much for some, but its central london and for me, I enjoyed hearing the buzzing london life. . The decor was gorgeous. Helpful service: Reception kindly left a spare key for my partner. We only stayed one night as it was local to my partners job, but overall, a great experience and highly recommended for a convenient stay! Can't wait to return.
Basic amenities: No fridge or iron in the room...but it would not put me off from returning, it was lovely.
An excellent location! A small cozy hotel with friendly staff!!
The location was great. And in general, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was extremely cramped. There was no furniture, other than a bed and one very uncomfortable small chair. The shower door was broken and it was very difficult to take a shower. To their credit, the hotel did reduce our room price by 10% to try and compensate for the shower door. The room was a block away from the hotel. The booking ad describes this as an apartment, but it was absolutely not. It was a small hotel room with a small microwave and small fridge and essentially no furniture.
Wanted a clean, comfortable space to spend the night while in London with the family and that's exactly what I got! 3 rooms all identical which is great. Location was perfect for city.
My only complaint was the pillows on the beds, very poor quality and even two pillows was not enough to make a good head rest.
Mimi’s is a little gem - cosy, stylish and calm, hidden in plain sight in the hustle & bustle of Soho. Very comfortable bed and reasonably well soundproofed in this busy location. Friendly and helpful reception staff and a nice bar/coffee area.
My room (303) was very small. No wardrobe or drawers (just one shelf and 2 hangers) but for a short stay with very just one small bag it was perfectly adequate for me as a single traveller.
L emplacement extra
Chambre petite et sans fenêtre
Mimi's is exactly what you see on their website - a hotel with very small rooms that's good for people who plan on spending their days out and about. You can't beat the location. I was in a Mimi's Mini and had a window overlooking Frith Street. Street noise was definitely audible until around 10-11pm on busy weekend nights, but generally got quieter after that. I had no trouble sleeping. Bed was very comfortable, wi-fi signal strong, air conditioning was a big plus on warm summer days when I was there. I imagine this room would feel very tight for two people, but for one it's fine. There's a shelf at the end of the bed which can hold two carry-on sized bags. I suppose if you have a full-sized suitcase it'd have to go under the bed. Shower space was fine for me, but would be quite cramped for some. Be aware - the websites for both the hotel and the bar incorrectly state that bar is open for breakfast from 7am. I went there right at 7am ahead of an early flight and was told it was actually 7:30. Bar person seemed puzzled I'd think it was 7, and desk staff were indifferent about this error. Overall enjoyed my stay, will stay here again if back in the area.
Great location
Hadn’t realised it was separate from the main hotel. Initially no working charger for phone in the room had to walk back to the main hotel for a plug.
The location is incredible. It’s walking distance from so much nightlife, theatres, and restaurants. Right in the heart of soho. We had access to movies for free on the tv.
It’s not made clear how small the cozy room actually is. I paid £200 a night, for a box room with no window. The room ends the second you walk in, for that price it should be more spacious. It was a massive bed, but only one flat pillow each. Incredibly disappointing and should be made more clear. But I guess you pay for the location
Fantastic location and very accommodating staff. The welcome and service were excellent and the hotel has a good vibe. The wifi was good which was needed as I had some work calls to do
We've stayed before and the rooms were small but at least we had a window. The room size, which was probably as advertised, is ridiculously small this time. The air conditioning didn't work properly, which was frustrating trying to sleep in a shoe box with no windows on a hot London night. The TV wouldn't connect to anything either.
Room was clean. Front desk were attentive. Location was very good.
It is an interesting set up with there being no specific lobby for the hotel - the bar and restaurant are managed by another party so there is no area that belongs to the hotel itself to relax outside of your room. You can sit in the bar/restaurant area, but you are not supposed to bring in any outside food or drink.
