We had booked the novotel ballroom for our daughters first birthday , the staff was polite and helpfull, the food was excellent and all arrangements were done very well , special mention to mahek and hitesh . Mahek was extremely helpfull with the booking of the banquet hall and hotel rooms , all arrangements done were great and upto our expectations . Mr hitesh managed the event extremely well and was considerate of the needs of our guests during the event . He made sure that everyone was taken care of . Thank you so much . It made our daughters birthday really special .

Amazing staff at all places but exemplary professionalism and empathy by Ms Sumbul and Ms Tamanna from the Front Desk team made a huge impact during my stay at the hotel.

Unfortunately, our experience during the stay was extremely disappointing, particularly given that we were travelling with our family to celebrate our child’s birthday. Unprofessional Staff: The staff appeared highly unprofessional at multiple touchpoints, starting from the valet service and check-in counter to the restaurant. The overall attitude and level of service were far below what one would expect from a reputed property. Cleanliness & Basic Amenities: The cleanliness of the property and room was extremely disappointing. I would give zero marks for cleanliness. Even basic amenities such as a hair dryer and bathrobes were missing from the room. Birthday Celebration: Despite making repeated requests for a small decoration in the room to celebrate our child’s birthday, our requests were simply ignored. It was particularly disappointing as this was the primary reason for our family trip. Welcome Drinks: Even the complimentary welcome drinks became an unnecessary exercise. Despite being entitled to them, I had to repeatedly follow up and go around in circles just to avail of what was supposed to be a simple courtesy. Foul Smell in the Room: The room had a persistent foul smell. We brought this to the attention of the reception, but despite informing them, no action was taken to resolve the issue. The mattresses and pillows were also extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep Overall, the experience was far from what we expected. What should have been a comfortable and memorable family stay, especially on the occasion of our child’s birthday, turned into a rather disappointing experience. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and looks into these concerns, particularly staff training, housekeeping standards, guest communication, and basic service delivery. All in all, given the overall experience, I would not consider staying at this property again and would certainly not recommend it to others

It was an absolutely wonderful experience staying with Novotel Lucknow. I was visiting Lucknow with family and stayed with them for 4 nights. The hotel is centrally located and conveniently connected with various transport options. The hotel was really neat and tidy with super courteous staff. Everyone from checkin to house keeping to F&B were very helpful and warm. We enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Looking forward for visiting them again soon.

I had a highly disappointing and frustrating experience at Novotel Lucknow last night for their dinner buffet. As a premium star-category hotel, you expect a certain standard of food and hospitality, but this visit was a complete waste of money. The issues began right at the buffet counters: Cold Food Across the Board. From the soups to the main courses, the entire buffet layout was cold. The hot and sour chicken soup was completely les salted, the starters were cold, and the crumb-fried fish was entirely tasteless devoid of salt or herbs. The chicken pieces were overcooked, cold, and incredibly chewy. Severe Lack of Non-Veg Options, as a non-vegetarian, I found the options incredibly limited. There was not a single non-vegetarian gravy dish on the buffet to pair with Naan. When I brought this to the server's attention, I was shockingly told to "have it with fish curry"—an absurd pairing that shows a complete lack of culinary understanding. Out of sheer hunger, I gave up and ate my Naan with cold paneer and dal. When I complained about the food being cold, the server said they would "do something." Bizarrely, after I had already finished my meal and moved on to desserts, the server brought out full portions of paneer sabzi and dal to my table—dishes I hadn't even asked for, served at the completely wrong time. The biggest disappointment, however, was the leadership. The restaurant manager was on the floor, actively attending to other guests. He was standing close enough to completely overhear my feedback to the server, yet he chose to ignore it entirely. He didn't bother to step in, apologize, or attempt to fix the situation. To be ignored by management while being served cold, poorly executed food is not what anyone expects from the Novotel brand. It was an absolute waste of money, and the blatant negligence towards a guest is unacceptable. I would highly recommend avoiding this buffet.

I had an amazing experience in Novotel Lucknow and whenever I come for stay I always get this kind of experience and I take home lot of good memories. Beginning with the drivers who came for pick up and drop they are giving the first impression about the hotel and all of them just nailed it. Then comes to the reception I always encounter lot of good people there with smile however I genuinely appreciate Prashant who always behave humble and helpful. Thereafter the restaurant, very dedicated staffs are available there. Specially the restaurant manager(don’t remember his name) an amazing person he is and he personally check upon the guests. Simran restaurant staff was very friendly and polite and carry positive attitude and then the amazing chefs specially the chef who prepares Biriyani. I love to come to Novotel for their hospitality and amazing delicacy(great thumbs up for the Lucknow Biriyani in Novotel). All together it’s a great property to visit.

I stayed at Novotel, Viraj Khand-4, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow on 25 April 2026 and was extremely disappointed. In my view, this property does not meet the standards expected of a 5-star hotel; it felt below even a good 3-star experience. The room was small and faced a busy road. The windows appeared to have inadequate sound insulation (thin single-glass panels), resulting in constant traffic noise and vehicle honking throughout the night and early morning, severely affecting sleep. To make matters worse, a wedding function in the hotel created significant disturbance, with loud music, bands and firecrackers continuing until around 11 pm. This was highly disruptive for in-house guests. The most serious issue was the air conditioning. In 42°C weather, the room cooling was not functioning properly and the room remained uncomfortably warm. Despite reporting it to reception and an engineering team visit, the issue was not resolved promptly. Our request for a room change was not acted upon. The AC improved only past midnight. Other concerns: * Ceiling shower in the bathroom was not functioning. * Breakfast was average and below expectation. * Most concerning, from my table I observed a kitchen staff member repeatedly eating from the salad while cutting and placing it into a serving basket. This raised serious hygiene concerns and was frankly unacceptable. Overall, this stay felt like poor value for money and did not reflect the standards associated with the Novotel brand. I would not recommend this property in its current state and would urge management to seriously address guest comfort, maintenance, soundproofing, service responsiveness and food hygiene. Rating: 1/5 Unfortunately, not a hotel I would choose again.

Gym and pool was not fully functional, breakfast menu needs to be changed and looked into for various options. Quality of food is not good last day the sambar was smelling. It’s unacceptable and requires immediate action.
