Crampy, shabby, dirty room.stains on bed sheet .... inauspicious location right opposite Max hospital..

Phenomenal experience. From Reception to House cleaning to Restaurant

Staff is well mannered, however few of the policies do not make sense. The restaurant Menu is so limited that ordering from outside becomes a must if you have not paid for their dinner charge. Well, if at all we order food from outside, they do not even allow our request to heat the food up. The restaurant does not even have ice cubes or decent glasses to provide to their customers. Agreed that they have a no Alcohol policy, but people who are out on holiday will surely want to settle down in their room with a drink after a tiring journey. If we have to go to a hotel and order ice and glasses from Blinkit, then why go at all? Even if we order, atleast allow the delivery person or have them yourself delivered at the room. The rooms are very tiny, count 6 steps from the door and the room ends. The AC was superb.. however, there was no overhead shower in the bathroom which as tiny as it could be. Wiping your body with a towel after a bath is a challenge in the bathroom. Things could be made a lot better and visitor friendly, and I hope they think about all this.

Staff made me wait for 30 min before giving room. AC not working at night, room full of mosquitoes, no one to pick phone at reception. Food is of very low quality. They again took lot of time to check out, though I had informed 20 min prior. Bad experience. Rooms are very small, you keep bumping into everything.

I stay here in ginger fir 14 days as it is from company but the experiance here is realy good and the staff Mr.Aditya and the chef Mr.Bhim is realy good in there service.The overall experiance is very good and memorable.

Room is very congested for two people. Breakfest is very good, sheft Bhim and Aditya doing very good job. Otherwise other facilites is good. Bathroom is not good.

Had a wonderful stay at Ginger Hotel, Gomti Nagar. The property is very well-maintained with a great modern vibe. The rooms are compact but exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is courteous and the service is prompt. Its location in Gomti Nagar makes it super convenient for getting around Lucknow. Great food, great sleep, and total value for money.

​I recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, it was a deeply frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this hotel in its current state. ​Room Quality & Hygiene ​The accommodations were significantly below standard. The "double" room was incredibly cramped—literally "ending where it started"—and felt claustrophobic for two people. More concerning was the pervasive smell of dampness in the air. The walls were visibly damp with paint peeling off, and the linens, while appearing laundered, were covered in permanent stains. It felt neither clean nor well-maintained. ​Facilities & Service ​The most baffling part of the stay was the lack of room keys. I was told keys were distributed on a "first come, first served" basis. Consequently, I had to go to reception every single time I needed to unlock my door. This is an unacceptable inconvenience for any modern traveler. ​Dining ​The breakfast was mediocre at best. The selection was not "exclusive" or varied, and more importantly, the food simply lacked flavor. It felt like an afterthought rather than a guest amenity. ​Check-out Process ​To cap off the experience, checking out took an entire hour. The staff seemed confused about the billing process, unable to determine if the room was prepaid or if a signature was required. ​Summary: Between the physical state of the building and the disorganized management, this stay was a major letdown. There are far better options available that offer basic hygiene and functional room access.

Overall experience was good, staff is outstanding, little bit hiccup was observed at Reception n at breakfast area during rush hours, laundry service needs to improve.

The bathrooms need renovation. Sheets can be better. Couldn't find light switch of the light behind the TV.

The food and stay were comfortable. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a comfortable stay at a convenient location.

I get that Ginger is a budget hotel, but untrained, careless staff is not part of the “budget” promise. From the first call itself, it was downhill: indifferent responses, booking errors (wrong dates, wrong name), and all emails addressed to me from the hotel by Abhishek Shukla as “Dear Sir” (apparently women don’t book rooms?). Refund still pending after 15+ days. BF request not acknowledged. Every query was lazily redirected to central reservations without listening. One person from central reservation confirmed the availability of a complimentary queen bed, the receptionist Roshini charged rs. 1000 extra for the same room, different bed at check-in. Consistency clearly is not on the menu. Zero welcome, zero basic briefing on WiFi, restaurant, or facilities, something even an OYO manages. As a single woman traveler, this felt dismissive and frustrating. Lesson learnt: better rates on other platforms don't waste your time with central reservation. They will ask you if you got better rates and will then match it. Ginger Lucknow? Just a waste of money and patience.

Rooms are very small, bathroom doors have hole. Not at all cohesive for family. Break fast wad good. Also beds were very thin.

Buffet breakfast was nice. Liked it. Service was good. They served nice hot and tasty breakfast. Enjoyed it a lot!!!! All the best

Good location in Gomti Nagar and very friendly helpful staff especially Suryanarayan and Ilma. Little too pricey for the small room, and room is missing some small details which would make the stay even better.

Rooms are very congested small and however the restaurant staff is the best bet in this hotel (Aditya sohail.and bhim) these guys are helpful.. had it not been for restaurant I would not come.back. my stay due to some holidays had to be cut short but they denied for refund of 1 day being mmt booking

It's was a pleasant experience staying in hotel Ginger. The ambience of the room, room service and restaurant was exceptionally good. The boys in the restaurant were quite responsive and were extremely cordial. Aditya, Suhail, Asif, Prashant, Bhim chef Kanhaiya, Rajesh, Anil, Bimal are excellent in their behaviour and response .
