Not very clean some staff are rude in all departments would not come back to this hotel 0
Not very organised on arrival waited two hours for a room got the rooms room not cleaned properly not hoovered bin.not emptied shoes on floor from someone left shoes
Its was good
The rooms were not the same as they were advertised and the food wasn't to our taste as u only get a choice from menu that was on board
Staff went above and beyond and always got a smile food lovely the bar the room was cleaned everyday will be back next year we had the all inclusive it was value for money
Location and staff
Very rude staff not organised at all checking in poor rooms dirty leaking toilet tv not working pr
Hotel needs a refurbished hotel manager needs to be trained and reception staff
The staff were lovely and made us really welcome. The room was clean and we had a great view of the sea. The entertainment was good and the bar prices was lower than expected.
The lift was terrible, it was impossible to get 2 people and a case each in there. We didn't enjoy the dinner, we only ate there once , it tasted like microwaved food.
Excellent hotel friendly staff good entertainment
The staff and entertainment
Everything from getting up and going to bed
It was large. The bar is open 24/7. Staff is very good. There are tram and bus stops to the centre outside.
Getting to the room. There is a lift to every floor, but then there are stairs, and some are up and down. The shower was small. The bed was too soft. Breakfast was average.
Th Hotel is central .It is very busy, but it does not detract from the care all the staff display to the guests
Location
Breakfast was chaotic, rooms/bathrooms needed revamped/cleaner. Windows in room need replaced/fixed. Seals were all away, wind was blowing in when closed. Walls at windows were showing signs of water damage.
Fabulous Hotel Lovely Staff ,Location, Very Welcoming & Clean Hotel would Definitely stay again &’Recomend
All Good
Great location. Food and staff brilliant
Cleanliness. Badly needing deep clean and painted all over
Nothing
All of it
The rooms were very clean tea and coffee in rooms. The entertainment room was spacious. Excellent location.
It is not wheel chair friendly which caused issues. I would suggest a ramp from reception to the lifts. I’d say that was the only downside of the stay.
The hotel is lovely amd clean the staff are lovely night entertainment brilliant defo returning the location is good
It was on the sea front Rooms are dated but clean
Lobby looks very dated ripped seats
The size of the room, bathroom and the shower was good.
Maybe the reception could have given more information and been a bit more happier
Location was great. Staff were lovely. Nice facilities
Rooms were shabby and dirty. Beds were uncomfortable
Everything was as we no it to be cause weve been before
The lifts
Location was great, entertainment was a bonus
Room was very small and very basic old furniture and dated, looked nothing like the pictures you advertised with. Very noisy due to being right on the main road
Breakfast and good entertainment and great service at the bar
The beds could be a little better
The staff were all nice, bedroom clean, bathroom great size and clean complimentary shampoo and shower gel, tea and coffee a great touch, clean bar, well stocked, reasonable priced.
Bird poop on window, creaky floor, building layout a bit confusing but there is a elevator it is bit small if u don't like confined spaces
The "cheese" of the Cabaret & Bingo evening was great, the experience was one we'll likely return for. Location was great, loved Blackpool as this was our 1st trip there.
Fairly rude bar staff (lady serving during the cabaret/bingo) but made up for by the rest of the staff. Pokey room, two adults and a child with barely enough room to walk around the bed, really not fit for purpose having a single & double in that room. Uncomfortable heat in the room, the fan didn't help. All night noises from the main prom but that's the Sea View rooms. The car parking availability was great until you park in the underground spaces down the block & are greeted by the homeless folks you'll be sharing the space with,it's not a managed space, bit dodgy the location and the hotel was well able to charge for the experience...
Overall no complaints
The lifts need sorting out as.thid a older persons hotel we had a long wait to use the grey lift
Where hotel was situated was good
Some staff weren't approachable some were very soor faced hardly spoke to u the hotel wasn't all its made out to be and did not think that the £226 we payed for hotel was worth it no breakfast was included in price we have been texting b&bs for cheaper in Blackpool which included breakfast
Location and entertainment fantastic, all staff apart from one
The one bar maid who was rude.
Did not take breakfast
A clean room would have been nice. On arrival my room was dirty reported to the reception the man was lovely he came up and cleaned all the thick dust of the skirting and vacuumed the room .l cleaned the dust of bathroom .mirror toilet roll holder and towel holder my self while he cleaned my room .the bed was clean the rest of the room was dirty .
Room was clean
Kreaking floorboards of others walking outside room early morning
Clean and tidy and staff were very good
Lift out of order
The location
Room size , small lift , too many stairs . Some quests rude when they find out your English . For the cost ,in my opinion ,breakfast should be included . Floor in room felt like it was slanting
One down point my bed was absolutely terrible could not get a good night's sleep, not only was the mattress uncomfortable in the extreme but it overlapped the base unit on both sides, the base unit obviously for a smaller mattress.
Everything else was good except the Saturday night entertainment was for some reason pretty non existent the night you would expect good entertainment was a disappointment to all I spoke too
Good location, either way to pier ,
Could do with curtains in sea view bedroom, blinds in room and sun coming through
The location.. central was perfect and straight on the seafront.2 lovely ladies on reception who were very helpful. The meals were lovely and served very efficiently especially by Esther and Stacey who really looked after me and my mum every mealtime..these ladies work so hard and you can tell by other guests they are very much appreciated and go the extra mile for people.Clean bedding and towels changed every day.
The only thing which was hard for us were the stairs which were hard for mum, even tho there is a lift we were on the 2nd floor which meant there were still a few to go down and back up to get to our room..If we booked again id have to see if we could book a downstairs room. The floor was also on a slant which was a bit unsafe for mum(room 22- red side) there was no hot water a couple of mornings for the shower but I suppose thats to be expected a place that big and everyone using at the same time.It didnt look as nice as shown online the rooms did look a lot more spacious but maybe that was just the family rooms. We would definitely book again whether it was myself or with mum if we could guarantee a certain room because if her mobility.
The location was perfect
We requested a double room and ended up with a twin
Location
No lounge
Staff very friendly, good size room & clean, excellent shower
clean room great view
shower was very cold every day
We booked a twin room on a room only basis for the air show friday to monday. Room was spotless, serviced everyday & towels changed. Bed was a little uncomfortable for me but we all love our own bed.
Great location
Nothing
It was homely and everyone was friendly
We was on 1st floor and you can hear everything from down stairs but I wasn’t to bad
Handy for buses & trams, large, clean comfortable room
We booked a sea view room,we got a room with no view,I mean no sight of the outside which was hell,we couldn't sleep,no empty rooms available as it was probably the busiest weekend of the year, the property say it was changed some months ago,by whom & why were we not told! Not happy!
Inaccessibility, as I did make them aware I had mibility issues
Central only down side was the car parking as we used your car park but a lot of people hanging about car park up to no good !!
Clean & friendly
The staff atmosphere really everything
Lifts small
Everything really
The lifts small
I thought the Royal seabank was a brilliant hotel. The Staff was nice a friendly. The food was lovely aswell. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
The thing i didn't like was they was not enough lifts to the rooms. Also the hot water didn't come on very good.
Family atmosphere
Nothing
Just back from staying a week, the (flagship deal) is brilliant. From breakfast through to dinner at night the meals were enjoyable, From management, to staff booking you in for your stay and making sure you are welcomed, bar staff, dining room staff, and not forgetting the housekeeping staff who made sure your room was kept in top form. We always stay in a Premier room which is well worth the wee bit extra. Julie Oneil.
The Royal Seabank is the best Hotel I have stayed in whilst in Blackpool. The team are welcoming and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure that all guests have a wonderful stay. Great location, was lucky enough to have a room with a sea view! The room was spotless, comfortable bed and had everything you need such as toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. Amazing service, lovely food and great value for money. Cannot wait to return and would like to thank Andy, Karen, Chris,Reece, Maria, Cath and the rest of the team for all of their hard work and for making our stay just perfect!
Let me start with this… never have I ever had customer service like this before! Firstly rooms all messed up, wrong names on key card and registered to rooms, beds are horrifically hard and uncomfortable! The staff! Most staff had no time for people who no understanding or empathy nor do they wish to be helpful! Everything is met with an attitude! I’m Disgusted with the way my elder ill mother was spoken to when waiting 15 minutes at the upper bar! Rude, dismissive, abrupt unhelpful! Never again! If you’re not a usual face your not going to get good service! Absolutely disgusted and will never return!
It was very frendiley
The lifts were small andvivwas on thec3rd floor and have bad knees will ask next tome for a lower floor
Nice location and view nice room
Lots banging door neighbours and loud talking through night 3-5 am
Centrally located Staff lovely
Rooms weren’t the cleanest Very noisy at night. Hardly slept! Whole hotel could do with a deep clean
We stayed as a family of 8 (three generations) for 4 nights! Upon arrival we were told that only 2 rooms were booked which was incorrect as I had booked 3 months earlier. That was sorted and then my parents were given the wrong room (a very small dark room overlooking a fire eacape) when we had paid for a seaview room. Once I contacted reception we received no apology and as the hotel was full they could not relocate my parents to the correct room that we paid for. We did not receive an apology. We were given a refund of a measly £40 which was very bad business. The second day, the room myself, my husband and daughter (age 9) were staying in had part of the ceiling cave in due to a leak above which was foul smelling, not to mention dangerous! The manager never came near us, instead sending a staff member to inform us that we had to move but it meant being seperated as we had no other options - my husband who has mobility issues in a room on his own amd me in a room with my daughter. This was upsetting for my daughter and extremely frustrating for us. We did move back into the original room the next day but it spoiled the holiday. Not once did the manager come near us, not one person apologised and not once did anyone offer to help us move 2 suitcases and 2 other pieces of luggage to the other 2 rooms (which might I add were on seperate floors) The rooms are extremely outdated as it is + the hotel needs an overhaul. 2 days later the manager had still not come near us. It is an absolute disgrace and very poor customer service. As a retail manager of 2 businesses myself, the role of the manager includes keeping your customers happy - well we are far from happy!! And this will not be forgotten about.
Location is good with own inside carpark at back of hotel but we found it very earie with street people hanging about checked car everyday, Hotel needs a good basic update carpets, furniture, especially lift, extremley slow and small , bedroom was nice & clean with all emenities, above all staff are really friendly & helpful but felt they were very stretched at times especially dining times, dosnt help with upstairs concert room been closed for refurb we always had a feeling of being rushed during evening meal due to the fact they were using dining room for entertainment straight after also had to queue every night waiting for people coming out , we were with our grandaughter no emenities or entertainment for families with children
I liked it as it was close to everything we needed both my self and my my sister had a lovely experience and we upgraded to the flagship deal .we are looking foward to returning sooon
Great location, lots of entertainment staff are really friendly.
Hotel is a maze finding your room can be daunting. The corridors and main hotel are really warm.
It’s central easy to get to everything entertainment fabulous
To many scouters about but all in all Great place to stay look forward to next year
After reading the positive reviews for this hotel - we booked to stay for 4 nights requiring 3 rooms for myself and partner, parents and grandmother. Even before arriving - we contacted the hotel on multiple times regarding my grandmother who is wheelchair bound. We enquired as soon as we booked that she would need a room that is lift level with no stairs, and it was confirmed every time we contacted that she had a room that would meet her needs. When we arrived - the staff were welcoming and friendly. And we enquired one final time on arrival that my grandmother had a lift level room with no stairs, the staff member we spoke to confirmed that we had and that we had nothing to worry about. We discovered the room my grandmother would be staying in was accessible by lift, although she would've had to been carried down 6 stairs, and up 6 more stairs to her room. When i questioned this, the general manager said the staff who work the reception does not know which rooms are actual lift level to which I replied then they shouldn't confirming to me the room was lift level with no stairs?! i was told that there were no other rooms available to stay in. Myself and my partner decided to give our room to her as our room was lift level. Her original room was only a single, so between my partner and I - we would've had to share a single bed. The hotel then offered us a camp bed to sleep on. With the size of the room being so small - we stressed of that being a fire safety hazard as we would've had to put it infront of the door and also the inconvenience of having to put the camp bed away when we went out and pull it out when we were going to bed. This was then rectified in myself and my partner being given a double room for the duration of our stay. ( although was told 10 - 15 minutes before this there were no rooms) There are lifts in the hotel - a grey lift and a red lift both of them go to all floors, some still needing to use stairs to get your room and some that are on the same level as the lift, but if you have families staying on either side of the hotel - you will have to head to the ground floor, across the foyer and up the other side. My parents and grandmother were staying on the grey lift side. Myself and my partner were staying on the red lift side. Lifts are very small fitting only 2 people in and very weight sensitive. Couldn't fit the wheelchair in at all, my grandmother had to be helped up whilst the chair was folded and went up in the lift first, ready for when she came up with my mother so she could sit back down. I understand on the website it doesn't state they are disabled friendly but being that they had rooms on lift level and that it was confirmed to me she had one, this didn't seem a problem. You can tell of the building's age. Although the rooms are nicely decorated - there are signs of the building showing it's age. For example - there is freshly laid down carpets in the rooms, but I constantly found myself walking over loose floorboards. One of which I could feel my foot going through the floor - possible trip hazard. The rooms are not really well ventilated. Large windows with only a top push out window which neither of us were tall enough to reach. In order to reach to close/open the window - you would have to climb on top of the knee length window sill. If you do not pay for an ocean view out of your room window - you will be met with views of buildings close enough for people to see in without closing the blinds. The rooms were tended to every day while we was out sightseeing. The drinks were cheap. We did not eat at the hotel as we chose to eat out. But we noticed there was a different menu each day. Entertainment seemed okay in the restaurant area, but we did not attend either of the nights we were staying. There is off site parking, you have to pay to use it, but was told the car park was around the back of the building, this was very misleading as it was not directly at the back of the building. The car park was between a sex shop and the job centre down the road. When I discovered this - I was not happy at all. I enquired about the safety of the car park. I was informed that the car park is CCTV monitored and locked over night with security patrolling the area, I was also informed that we should not worry about the safety of my car, as the only people who use the area are people who want to take drugs or do drug deals and be sheilded by the cars, Very safe indeed! Overall - no I would not be returning to this hotel as there are too many negatives in my opinion. However, I do not wish to discourage anyone else who wishes to stay here. I believe in letting them find their own opinions. This review is just of our experience of the time we stayed.
Reasonable price great location
Bit ov a maze finding rooms ?? Squeaky floorboards
Location right outside is a tram stop
Basic room Hairdryer should be standard
Good
Lifts
Very central
Room was very dated and quite grubby and unkempt in places
Just returned after staying mon to Friday with my sister we had a great time the weather food staff entertainment everything was good no complaints at all
Didn't have breakfast location is excellent
Less noise late at night as people were still outside building after 1 am
Don't bother, rooms unsafe due to cloning of key card,I ended up in an occupied room, rooms not as booked, staff totally uninterested, breakfast cold and tiny portions staff uninterested, save money and go somewhere else, and for safety lock your rooms from inside, and if you go out, check your belongings when you come back, security is a major concern
Staff attitude
Central location
Excellent service and location
The shower was a bit tight to fit into for a larger person, not that I am that big.
The.sjower to small
Convenient to all we wished to vist friendly staff Lovely breakfast
Nothing
Friendly staff.
Outdated, Old fashioned lifts, kept braking considering there's 4 floors. Room was covered in flys, mattress, and beds need replacing. Location wise, across from sewer and smelt constantly.
bed was comfy and eoom was clean tea coffee facilities plenty space for ur clothes good powerfull shower lift can check in pretty late if u want staff where great and friendly cleaners would knock and say do u need anything each day
there wasnt anything i didnt like have been here a fair few times now
Central location, great bar, although it did seem a little understaffed at times Would definitely consider going back.
The bathroom was very small for a triple room
Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location staff were great and food was good
Nothing
Previously stayed here and was ok for a budget hotel. This time I came with my wife we paid extra for Seaview room 400 . On artival at room there was rubbish in the corridor it was there a day i . Thd window was dirty inside and out . The beds were 2 singles very small ones I was scared to turn over at night incase I fell out . My wife was nearer the window and was a damp smell beside her . The floor was a trip hazard with many ridges under the carpet . Also a screw on bathroom floor , was there the whole stay . Only had toom only so didn't have any thing from the kitchen .
I would recommend this to anyone. Staff 100% friendly and make you feel welcome. Loving the cabarets at night. Any probs and they can help out. My favourite place to be.
Good location for everything
Food was mediocre, asked for the England game on the large screen and was told they only show Scottish games on big screen and there's me thinking I was in England, shocking really.
Refurbished room on the ground floor. Huge powerful shower. Comfy beds.
Room looked out onto a decked area full of rubbish - not very nice to look at. Not a big issue though because we were out exploring most of the time.
We had a lovely stay after all our trouble with our other hotel we walked in spoke to polite receptionists and they got us the extra days we needed for my friends birthday 1st till 3rd July was amazing very clean reception which he said take a sea while he saw the manager for a discount for us after all we had. Been through all the staff were helpful took all cases and back pack and bags up to room lots of room downstairs for stroller they welcomed me and Steph to there hotel told us our room gave us key to room and said go enjoy your selves you stuff will be in ya room and all ready welcomed us and told us ever thing as well as entertaining on night wich we thouraly enjoyed met the entertainment got photos with the the staff were very helpful in there as well with bar as we didn't have bands so paid full for drinks which i was happy to do every thing else was spot on had 1 mucky mark on tile in room and one till not right down but apart from that met all our needs even when out milks they said were it was and help our self comfort beds lovely shower room ward rob dressing table and a fan if needed it lift up to room we were in room 122 only twin rooms but standard we perfect some staff were funny lol had laugh other people in hotel friendly as well have booked togo back for my birthday in march carnt wait to go back to this stunning hotel
Stayed in room 32 with my wfe from Friday to Monday. Room 32 is a cramped double seaview room. Thats of course if you can see out of the window towards the Irish sea as the window is dirty inside and out. There are filthy worn carpeting on the staircase leading to the lift on the third floor. The internal window cill was very dirty and looks like it hadnt been cleaned for over a week. There was an ominous looking stain on the grey bed runner. The bathroom was an adequate size but the shower cubicle had mould growing on it. The bathroom door was noticibly badly chipped and marked. The room was spartan with no furniture on the walls and lacking soul as it was white and grey. Bedroom furniture was fine and in good order appearance wise. Food was a 7/10. The dining room was cramped making some tables inaccessible as the was a stage there taking up too much room this made navigating to your table both awkward for guests but staff too. All restuarant staff hard working especially Stacey as nothing was too much trouble for her. Never ever seen a TIPS BOWL on reception desk anywhere before. I found this unacceptable. The hotel is tired and needs refreshed as its not fair to the guests who pay good money to stay here. BLACKPOOL PROMOTIONS need to address these issues asap. A better hotel is just a few doors up the road Its called THE CRAIG Y DON. Its doubtfull we will return as weve noticed a sharp decline over the years. Pity.
Location
The room it was like a greenhouse, no air conditioning, just 1 fan
Location
The room it was so hot in the room that there was no air conditioning. 1 fan 1 window to open it was pure hell
Absolutely everything including the staff
Staff and facilities were great entertainment was good as well and the food was delicious 😋
The bed was uncomfortable and the rooms where too hot need to invest proper air conditioning 😜
Easy to find great location
Needs better signage to find the carpark
Very clean had a lift which is easy with cases
Nothing
The staff in the hotel work so hard especially Esther and the dining room staff very friendly hotel location great atmosphere it was great room was a bit small but very clean
Amazing friendly staff
Function room closed. Dining room was made into function room but no one was doing any work on the function room during the whole stay.
10. I stayed there 4 times. Now I be back again next year
The pillows was very hard
Staff were very good, especially Esther she goes above and beyond Always friendly really lovely person Rooms clean although basic. No hairdryer which was a pain. So advise to take one.
Not a lot; there was nothing to do during the day. The staff were chasing their tails. The kettle in my room was faulty. I had to sit and hold the switch. down to make a brew, and then the switched socket failed and had to be replaced. I was sitting on the bed watching TV. When a startled woman entered my room and hurriedly went back out.
The reception is too small. Dining room meals are too early because it is used for evening entertainment. Bingo and Joe 90 are a fiddle. Joe 90 pays out on the last winning number on the full house on bingo. Only £20.00 was paid everywhere I have played. Joe 90 pays £90.00 per game. I noted the cash collected for the bingo and Joe 90 was taken away, and the member of staff came back and gave the caller winnings for all 3 games of bingo. and Joe 90. I recorded the first night's takings being over £400.00, only £100 fh £40.00 2 lines £20.00 1 line Joe 90: £20.00 There seemed to be a lot of cash missing. This goes on in every hotel I have stayed at and even more money missing. with miserable payouts.
The only thing I can say that we liked was the location
The hotel needs an upgrade rooms are OK in size but shabby and certainly not clean Concert room has to many blind spots with all the pillars hence people queuing up outside for it opening so they can get a good seat 1 small lift just about fits 2 people Not a good experience at all
On arrival, I asked to pay £40.00 for my 4 breakfasts. I was told to come back in the morning and pay. I returned the next morning at 08.00 am; no staff at reception. I returned about an hour later and waited 10 minutes, but still no staff turned up. I ate out for my 4-day stay. On leaving for my return home, I asked about a problem regarding my daughter's room. She did not come away with me due to taking poorly and was taken to the hospital from the doctors by ambulance. The guy on reception said I only booked one room I explained I contacted booking .com and they said they couldn't help me but to get intouch with the hoteland they would sort me out.I was informed by the hotel to contact Booking .com they would have to pay for mr to receive the same price I paid . Booking .com then took out the second payment from my bank account account. so I will requirea refund from Booking .com for this room the seabank did not receive te payment.
