Emplacement, vue sur Durbar Square

El alojamiento estaba impecablemente limpio, pero lo que realmente hace especial este lugar son sus propietarios. Es un matrimonio excepcionalmente amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Durante mi estancia me enfermé del estómago y estuvieron pendientes de mí en todo momento, preparándome remedios caseros y preocupándose sinceramente por mi recuperación. Además, como mi vuelo salía muy temprano, ambos se levantaron a las 5:00 de la mañana para despedirse de mí y asegurarse de que tomara el taxi al aeropuerto sin ningún problema. Son gestos que no se olvidan y que demuestran una hospitalidad auténtica y de corazón. Les estaré siempre muy agradecido por el cariño con el que me trataron. Recomiendo este alojamiento al 100 %. .

Auf Nachfrage konnte ich das Zimmer wechseln, so hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick auf den Durbar Square - Sehr schön, besonders morgens in der Frühe, wenn die Stadt so langsam erwacht. Leckeres Frühstück. Möglichkeit Gekd zu wechseln Sehr zentral gelegen.

Very Friendly and Helpful family members, helped me to purchased eyes drop and bring me around for local foods. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is just in front of Patan Durbar square, roof top views is great.

Potrete svegliarvi alla mattina con vista su piazza durbar! Camera enorme!!! Assolutamente imperdibile!!! La signora Matina vi aiuterà ad organizzare la vostra permanenza. Colazione completa ed abbondante con vista sulla piazza. Super gradita la marmellata fatta in casa! Il miglior hotel a Patan, siamo stati bene e speriamo di tornarci presto.

Amazing host family, truly went above and beyond. The room was large, comfortable and had an incredible view. Breakfast was homemade with fresh fruit jams. I had issues booking transportation and they called and arranged everything for me, even woke up early at 6 am to call bus company and make sure I would go to the right place. Offered wonderful recommendations and I can not say enough about the experience. Thank you!!

If I could give this place more stars I would. Super comfortable bed, really good shower pressure and hot, and a beautiful rooftop •. Breakfast was impeccable, and their tips for local food the best so far. The hosts are super warm and welcoming, I wish I would have stayed longer.

Ich hatte ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Durban Square. Dieses Zimmer entschädigte für alles. Dachterrasse mit tollem Blick.

Das Bad ist sehr schlicht, beim Duschen macht mensch alles nass, da keine getrennte Duschkabine. Manchmal Probleme mit dem warmen Wasser. Leider musste ich aufgrund eines Buchungsfehlers der Besitzerin das Zimmer wechseln und kam in eine kleine Kammer🤨

Lalit Heritage Home really is in prime location for Patan Durbar Square. You are on the edge of one of the most historic spots in the country. We had a big room with a heater available and comfy beds. It was clean and had hot water. The family were very helpful and breakfast was good.

If you want to overlook the Square then check with them as most rooms don't. The price was high due to location but the communal areas were not comfortable and room sparse.

Breakfast with a view of Patan Durbar Square. The hospitality and warmth of the owners was exceptional. I am very grateful to have found such accommodation. The room was quiet in the evening and morning which was a positive surprise in such busy location. Communication was easy via WhatsApp and also the app. The location is walking distance to all heritage sites in the area and a 15-20min walk from Labim Mall and more upscale restaurants. I would definitely go back and would recommend if you want a local stay just across the entrance of Patan Durbar Square.

The only comment would be towards getting to the place, as it is such a busy area there is quite a bit of traffic. And replacing some towels for fresher ones would be great.

La amabilidad del dueño, excepcional, muy muy por encima de lo cordial...nos ha ayudado en innumerables ocasiones, nos fue a buscar al taxi, nos acompañó a comprar fruta a una tienda de su confianza, nos hizo de guía por la ciudad antigua, etc. La ubicación maravillosa, justo en el centro histórico.

Todo me gustó del hotel. Tantas motos por todas las calles es molesto, pero eso no es del hotel, es del país, q es caótica la circulación vial

The property was excellent. It was clean, spacious, and very well located. The hostess was very friendly and helpful during my entire stay. I was given a welcome drink and a postcard and traditional scarf when I checked out. It was a great stay!

I had a great time staying at Lalit Heritage Home. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Patan with a beautiful view of Durbar Square. The view from the terrace is stunning at all times, especially during the evening. The host family is incredibly kind and welcoming. They make you feel at home, which adds a personal touch to the whole experience.

The only thing to note is that there was some construction going on, so it could get a bit noisy in the afternoons if you are planning to stay in during that time. But honestly, with so much to explore around, it did not bother me much.

Thank you, Matina, for the warm welcome! Her home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed the stunning view of Patan Square right from our room — it was such a memorable experience. The location couldn't be better!

The bathroom was quite dark, with no proper place to put our things except on the floor. The layout felt awkward and could really benefit from some renovation.

Staying here felt just like home. I received so much care and kindness that made my first solo trip truly perfect. I will never forget the warmth and companionship I received here. The location was absolutely ideal. How wonderful it is to be able to admire a World Heritage Site right from home. Even now, I can hardly believe this journey has come to an end. Thank you for making it so meaningful.

The hospitality was fantastic. Madan and his family make you feel very welcome and provide delicious breakfasts as well as many helpful tips for seeing the city. I will stay here on my next visit for sure!

Stayed in Queen room upstairs which was a great size and with great views! The family were very helpful with everything, whether booking taxis via Pathao, fixing the wifi when it was acting up, or offering me several breakfast choices. The water pressure and warm water in the shower is among the best I have had in Nepal, and consistently available throughout the day. I really appreciated the friendly touch staying with a family in Patan, learning about their customs and the long conversations we had about life. Will definitely come back!

The wifi was sometimes cutting out a little bit and I had to change networks a few times, and it was quite slow (but worked what I needed it for). I stayed during the winter month (November) and there was no heating (although there was an air conditioner for summer months). I would recommend perhaps offering a heater for the winter months, or even a woollen blanket.

Very charming homestay/hostel with a Newar family. The staff takes care of the guests with special attention, even devoting their free time. You can get help in buying tickets, charging the phone, ordering a taxi. You can listen to interesting local stories. Take part in holiday and religious rituals. Mohan who works here is a volcano of energy and takes care of everything and everyone non-stop. Brilliant location in the heart of Patan.

We spent 2 nights in Patan at Lalit Heritage Home. It was a fabulous guest house, run by a super helpful and friendly family, that helped cater for our every need. We were upgraded to the room overlooking the Patan Durbar Square because the host family thought we would be happier there. Grateful for their concern, because the view was priceless indeed. One could sit at the window for hours and watch the festive processions, friends saying their goodbyes, young artists painting, elderly people chatting -- all of the true charm of this bustling cultural capital. Even though it was a short stay, our host family felt like old friends who would go the extra mile to make you feel at home - they are great guides if you want to learn about local food and history, and great company if you want to have an evening chat overlooking the view. I very enjoyed my stay at Lalit Heritage Home. Best view ever near Patan Durbar Square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very tidy. Also the manager was attentive and asked us if we need anything. Highly recommended.

The family were so lovely and made me feel right at home! Matina even cooked me a traditional newari meal which was delicious and so kind of her. Perfect location in Patan, right next to the square with beautiful views. Room was cosy- comfy bed and good A/C. I enjoyed me stay so much that I returned for another night at the end of my trip. Clean spacious room with ensuite, good AC, and a mosquito net (even though we didn't see a single mosquito in the room). Brilliant staff. We were unwell during our stay and we were well looked after. Laundry service is also great value for money.

Nice view on the public balcony, the room is quiet and clean. Good location. Run by a friendly and trustworthy family.

A box tissue paper and a kettle (but you can have hot water in the dining room) in the room would be great.

Martina and her Family are really the best hosts. They invited us to celebrate and have dinner on the rooftop terrace. We’ve had many really inspiring conversations with the other guests and got to know a lot of insider knowledge. Very interesting!!! The view on patan durbar square from the balcony and terrace are breathtaking and the breakfast in the morning couldn’t be better. Kathmandu is such a vibrant and fascinating city. From exploring this magical town you’ll be happy to come back home to this wonderful and peaceful place.

Staying at Lalit Herritage definitely exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning I felt not like a guest, but as a member of the family. Matina and Santa took care of me with the greatest care. We became friends and still keep in touch. The breakfasts were delicious. In addition, I also had the opportunity to take amazing trips and listen to interesting stories about Buddha (Santa), about Bhaktapur (Matina) and going to temples (Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple), as well as to a beautiful, extremely charming village in the mountains, Bandipur (thanks to the huge courtesy of Manose).

The family were very kind: took me on an early morning walk to visit a couple of local Buddhist temples in use, let me eat Newari food with them (£), took me to a traditional barber for a (very good) shave. Breakfast was tasty. The view over Patan Darbar Square was what I had hoped. I loved the back streets of Patan, the traditional craftsmen and the tiny temples everywhere.

It's very much a family home with rooms rather than a hotel. The room and the bathroom were pretty basic tbh. It's right next to a very busy road.

Wonderful homestay with simple, but very clean rooms, lovely common area and amazing views over the Durbar square. The most wonderful part about the stay is the friendly family who has opened up their home of many generations and who are happy to share with you the real life of Patan today and decades ago. I truly enjoyed the stay and reccommend it to anyone who is looking for something different from regular hotels and is curious about the local way of life.

I had an absolutely lovely stay at Lalit Heritage Home. My airport pick-up went smoothly and I was given a warm welcome by the family owners. The room was very comfortable with a hot shower, desk and a view over Patan Durbar Square. My favourite part of the guesthouse was the terrace on the top floor with a stunning view where I would eat my breakfast or relax during the evenings and I could see the mountains on clear days. The breakfast (and dinners!) were delicious. The location is also great as it is right next to the Palace/Patan Museum with plenty of restaurants, shops and coffee shops nearby but is also nice and quiet in the evenings. What I particularly liked about Lalit Heritage Home is that it had the atmosphere of a homestay with all the comforts you need. I really enjoyed chatting to the family, learning more about the local area and felt very safe and looked after, especially as a solo traveller. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return.

本館のほうは古い建築物を改装して作っているため、 設備は古いです。ただ、ダルバール広場が見える部屋は 最高に景色は良いですね。最上階のロマンティックルームを １人利用しましたが、夜のライトアップなども部屋から見え とても感動的でした。

Un accueil exceptionnel! Un service attentionné et délicat. Un vrai partage. J'ai eu de la chance avec tous les hôtels au Népal (environ 10). Mais cette adresse par son charme, son accueil, sa localisation est réellement exceptionnelle. la première chambre que j'ai eue était digne d'un catalogue de déco. Magnifique, mais avec des acariens (je suis allergique). J'ai donc migré rapidement vers une chambre plus fonctionnelle.

Gute Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage direkt am Durbar Square von Patan. Von der Dachterasse und vom Frühstücksraum hat man einen super Ausblick über den gesamten Durbar-Square. Die Zimmer sehen auf den Bildern etwas besser aus, als sie tatsächlich sind, die Unterkunft ist aber in Ordnung. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, bucht Tickets (z.B. Mountainflight) und besorgt Fahrer.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's centrally located and I found it to be a home away from home. I was only there three days but during that time period I had an issue with my eye that needed a doctor visit. They totally accommodated me. They found an eye doctor and took me there. Not only once, but twice. I am thankful for the opportunity to have stayed with this kind family and would not hesitate to stay there again.
