The owner, Mr. Joshi runs the property professionally and with utmost hospitality. He also helped planning a variety of activities during my stay in Sauraha: jungle walk and jeep safari. Free pickup and drop to the bus station.

Fab garden setting with a Star fruit tree giving us very fresh fruit for breakfast! Comfortable beds. Looked after by the staff. Hot drinks available in the room. Short pleasant walk to main shops and restaurants. Elephants walking up the road too .

I felt very comfortable at this beautiful resort. It has a garden full of flowers and trees, and tables outside enjoying the fresh air and beautiful view. They served the same continental breakfast for 5 days, but it was good! Hotel owner is very kind and caring for our staying. Staffs are kind. Good location in Sauraha. You can see the elephants on the way to the resort. Whole place looks same or better than the photos in booking.com

Water flow was a bit week at Water tap at the basin. You need to wait for some time for hot water... a bit wasting of water till hot water comes. Nothing else!

The interior decoration was classical and resembles home.

Toiletries were insufficient. More cleannines could have been possible.

It is a beautiful resort on the outside, lovely garden, lots of flowers 🌹🌷 and plants.

Inside the room is dark even though there are windows, tv doesn't work, floor is dirty, bed linens are old and ripped, towels old and ugly smell. The owner Kumar and wife are not nice. Nobody comes to the room to ask if I needed anything, have to ask for toilet paper and towels, left the garage out on balcony, still there the next day, also the dirty plates.

A beautiful stay. The gardens are lovely and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. My friend wanted to buy a specific flower found in the garden so was taken to the garden centre to find it! Also, we realised we needed one less room and they were more than willing to take it off the booking. So friendly and honest. We booked the safari trips through them too and it was great

Beautiful Garden

Great communication - and very attentive and friendly staff. The owner helped me book a safari and even helped me fix a broken tail-light on my motorbike! If and when I come back, I'll be sure to stay there again.

Everything! especially the gardens it was like a paradise, full of the most colourful flowers I have seen and birdsong, lovely clean room with outside balcony looking straight into the garden, food was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for the owner Kumar who went out and got me a bottle shower gel free of charge and took me to the Safari pick up and my next hotel free of charge, an exceptional place run by an exceptional man.

All the staff were polite helpful, and Kumar in particular was great with helping me organise outside activities. I love the balcony with seats and the beautiful garden environment. I love the quiet location on the edge of town within easy walking distance.

A large school trip arrived during my stay with excited students, which was very noisy at times. However, I enjoyed being invited to join their evening cultural dance show.

The owner Kumar is easy to talk to and gave us some rides by his car for free. Super friendly Thank you so much. The garden is an oasis of plants and flowers you can stay easy a whole day in and relax. There are also some animals 🐕 🐈 🐝 🐓 inside so you might not feel the need to go on the typical safari 😁

room size very good, grounds lovely. close to river town and restaurants. the best thing though is the staff. they went above and beyond what you would expect on our recent stay. without their help we would have been stuck in chitwan and missed our flight home due to the terrible floods. somehow they managed to get us safely back to kathmandu in time.

Bathroom have no hair dryer, no mini freeze in the room.

It's really tidy and serene. Also, the staff is quite cordial. It is really worth it. The hotel arranges for everything, including transport, so you don't need to worry about getting around. What a wonderful experience we had!!! Thank you

When it rained the power went out - be aware of that

Beautiful property and very nice rooms. Staff were absolutely incredible for my entire stay, they were very attentive and friendly and were always making sure you had what you needed. The owner went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and ensured I enjoyed my stay to the fullest. You’ll have an exceptional stay here, definitely recommend! :)

Very friendly property located just outside the town centre. The hotel has a very nice garden and the manager, Kumar, is great at organising and transporting you to various activities.

My only issue was sporadic wifi, but this was minor.

Beautiful property, well maintained, and large rooms. Kumar was a wonderful host. He kept his garden in order. He helped us with planning our tours. Everything was perfect.

The hotel has a big garden and lot of flowers. Kumar, the owner of the hotel, is a very nice man. He is very helpful and arranged the safari tours and picked up. The staffs is very nice as well. The bbq chicken was very tasty and remember to try one. Please tips the staff when you leave.

This was a great place to stay in Chitwan. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, he helped sort our busses and jungle walking safari. The food was also very tasty and the garden was amazing! Would recommend this hotel highly.

Very relaxing atmosphere, the garden is beautiful and the location is perfect: on a quiet street but walking distance from the main street and the riverside. Also the owner is really helpful with arranging tours (for a fair price!). Highly recommend!

The room are so much dusty, Tv not working, no proper light in the room, after too much request they provide Mosquitoes killer ,staff are not co-operative their behavior is soo rude. No phone in the room to call for attendent,Don't book jungle safari package from them

Breakfast wasn’t great

Lovely peaceful place with a garden. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owners and the staff were just delightful and we enjoyed our stay very much. We were able to book a Safari and were transported to the start of the Safari each day.

The property is nice and cozy. Although I had to stay only for a few hours to catch the early morning safari ride.

The bathroom did not have a hair drier and also toiletries weren't there.

After walking around the area, I realized that I had chosen the best accommodation possible. Everything was great. You can reach the beach by walking for 15 minutes. Access to tourist centers was very easy. The area was quiet and pleasant. The behavior of the staff, especially Mr. Kumari himself, was wonderful. Tours that were worth offering in terms of price. If I could, I would spend only 3 or 4 more days in the residence. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. If you travel to this area. No need to go to another restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The hotel is beautiful, the gardens are very inviting and the room itself was also very stylish and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the private balcony. The room was very clean and had everything you could need, including a mosquito net above the bed. The hotel has a restaurant and I really liked the food. The staff was also very nice, the owner organized all the tours for me and brought me and other guests there, as well as picking us up. They have a few pets as well that roam around the property, they are calm and not bothersome at all.

Manager would not honor our reservation for an AC room. Put us in a fan room and told us we would have to pay more if we wanted the AC room we already paid for. Told us we could cancel the reservation if we were not happy and now we have to fight for a refund. Very dishonest.

We enjoyed our time in Chautari Resort, the owner is very nice, he arranged our tour in Chitwan National Park for a reasonable price and with great guides that work directly with him... The rooms are really nice, big and comfortable... Food was ok, nothing fancy but good. On the day of our departure the owner arranged some bus tickets for us, and took a percentage of the fare, that's common practice and since he dropped us at the bus station it was fair enough...

Alles war sehr gut. Der Hotelbesitzer war sehr hilfsbereit und ein echtes Organisations-Genie. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und zu Fuß das Ortszentrum und der Eingang zum Nationalpark zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gaby & Helmut
