Good location, very close to the centre and sea front. Although there was no staff on site, they respond to our call straight away and were very helpful and friendly.

Limited parking. No staff on site. Open shower area (no glass or curtain in the bathroom)

Self check in easy. Information sent across in good time.

Bathroom not clean. Toilet had urine marks and hair on. Sink had hair in. No hand soap in the bathroom.

The house was Beautiful and our room was delightful and very clean, the shower was amazing and the bed was soooo comfortable, we will deffo go back...

It was very homely place and very clean. Such a place should cost more than it does right now.

Location was good

The room I had was in the basement. As soon as I walked in I smelled a musky scent, later I realized it smelled like a wet dog. I think dog(s) stayed in that room before. The bathroom has the shower pour right on the open floor, I guess someone started the trend years ago to have toilet/shower combos, but it ends up just being an unclean floor environment that promotes mould. This bathroom was mouldy. Not worth the amount it was charged.

Bathroom could have a stronger exhaust. It was too hot (boiling) on the day and there were no table fans.

This place is a clip joint, they supply a phone number but never answer it. The tiny room is on the walk up third floor, no wardrobe, no tea making facilities in the room, bed is awfull and saggy. Bathroom is a wet room and very basic. Parking is a joke they advertise they have parking but its in the street if you can find one, a total pain in the Arse. Its a self check in facility but they dont tell you that so no one on site. The fan they supply wouldnt even blow out a candle even on high speed. They cant even put the toilet roll on the right way. Ive stayed in loads of places like this and this is the worst, do yourself a favour and book somewhere else, all they are interested in is your money.

The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. The location was fantastic, not far from the sea and nice places to eat. It was the perfect location to stay for Victorious Festival.

I didn't realise when I booked that there are no onsite staff. You get sent a long list of Terms and Conditions after you book which I doubt people bother to read. I was in Room 2 and the people in Room 3 were partying all night into the morning. The code unit on the door of Room 2 is glitchy and it took many attempts to get it to respond. I am pretty sure the sheets had not been changed. They smelled of 'human' and the bed was very squishy and the mattress seemed to tilt downward toward the headboard. You can't sort the WiFi in your room and have to go out to the communal area to set it up. There is a nasty, sharp wooden ridge between the bedroom and bathroom and you will stub your toe if you get up in the night to use the loo as it's easy not to see it. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Chambre minuscule ainsi que la salle de bain. Pas super propre. Une toute petite étagère pour ranger ses affaires et très chaud dans la chambre car sous les toits et il y avait une sorte de climatiseur, plein de poussière, qui fonctionnait pas bien et impossible d'ouvrir complétement la fenêtre. On y est allé durant le sail GP donc les prix étaient plus élevés et bien trop cher par rapport à la prestation reçue.

Room was very basic although clean was quite clinical, didn't like the way bathroom was, water all over wet room which also housed the wc Towels were old no facial tissues in room Parking also had be in nearby car park which was £13.75 per day, nothing in near vicinity

The location is excellent, in a quiet street, near restaurants and shops . The shared pleasant sitting room and kitchen are in good order.

I discovered my bedroom was on the top floor, I had failed to notice there was no lift. I am not keen on shower only rooms, no grab rails. The bed side lamp was very awkward size and difficult to switch on and off. Needs replacing. I saw no member of staff during my two day stay. Had no contact number if any emergency. It was like being in a ghost house but great for those who seek peace and quiet.

Great location, our room was spacious and clean

There was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. We were there in July and our room, number 4, was exceptionally hot. We were driven out by 9am and couldn’t really go back to late afternoon. The room got the morning sun and retained the heat.

Our stay was affected by extremely hot weather and our room was on the top floor. We brought our own fan as there is no A/C but it was unbearable and the window had a restraint on it. We left at 7.30am to get out of the extreme heat. Facilities are limited. There are no staff on site. The room was simple but clean, the bathroom cramped and basic. There is only one parking space and although parking permits are available for guests we never found a vacant permit space. I think the offer of a permit is a tad misleading. You will pay for on street parking nearby;the good news is that from 6.00pm to 8.00am the next day is not charged. It served our purpose but we would not book again.

I was downgraded to a single room because of a plumbing problem and was told I'd be refunded the difference but the refund never came. Apart from that it was a decent place to stay.

Great location….lots of lovely bars, cafes and restaurants in the area. Nice walk to Gunwharf or short bus trip. Clean and tidy and friendly helpful host.

next time please add bedside tables, it never occurred to me that I had to leave our phones recharging on the carpet and having to stand up for switching the light off.

It was spacious and had a great kitchen, it also has 2 washing machines and a tumble drier. Half hour walk to the dockyards.

Was difficult to clean up after ourselves in the kitchen as we couldn’t find any cloths.

Property was clean and hosts seemed lovely, even though they were not present. Kitchen and lounge looked great. Location very good.

WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs well and a few hooks on the walls or doors, or hanging space would be helpful. Mattress was like a sponge, not very comfortable, but can’t complain about the price. Terms and conditions for stay were ridiculously long!

Place is in a a nice, quiet residential area in Southsea. Walking distance to Southsea town center, 15-20 min easy walk from the train station, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Portsmouth city center. Spotless and spacious room. Emma has excellent communication, it was nice of her to let us leave our bags in the property before the check in time. We would definitely stay there again.

I think it would be nice to have drawers near the bed to put items like glasses or phone. the shower was ok but don't like water everywhere because no curtains or shower cabine

I loved the set up. I was able to have my bike parked outside my window so it felt secure to me. Communication was clear and concise. The kitchen was well set up and I cant speak highly enough of this accommodation. I will be returning regularly to Portsmouth and this will be my first point of booking everytime!

Decent location, and the host was incredibly helpful and pleasant.

There are floor showers and although there's ventilation in the bathroom, you cannot properly open a window, so the room was constantly humid with no air. The sheets were stained, everything else seemed clean.

The communication was excellent and it was easy to access with the codes provided. The shared kitchen was super useful to cook own meals or use the utensils provided. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, really recommend.

The shower was a bit peculiar due to the lack of divider with the rest of the bathroom but it wasn't too bad.
