The room was super small and spotless, but we couldn’t open the windows because of the garbage bins in front of them it. The shower was chilly, and the water pressure was a bit weak. Oh, and there wasn’t any soap on the sink or hair conditioner. Plus, we didn’t have tea, a spoon, a knife, or tissues. It could have worked for one night, but it could definitely be improved!

Super emplacement. Petit frigo et cafetière disponible. Propre et confortable avec chauffage, air clim et déshumidificateur. Communication facile, check in autonome facile. Bon prix. Stationnement payant près de l’établissement.

Présence de centipèdes. La table est minuscule et ne permet pas le télétravail ou de prendre un repas. La fenêtre fermait mal et la rue est passante et bruyante. Échanges en anglais seulement. Pas de couvre matelas.

L’idee de loger dans une propriété avec beaucoup de charme dans une quartier a cachet. Les équipements sont de qualité. Les gérants sont très réceptifs et réactifs aux demandes.

Le fait de surplomber la rue qui est très fréquentée et qui oblige à garder les rideaux tirés. Mais le double vitrage isole du bruit. La salle de bain gagnerait à être équipée de crochet et de porte serviette.

Hôtel très bien placé, accès facile avec l'envoi à l'avance des codes d'accès. Du coup assez impersonnel car il n'y a pas d'accueil. Le service de réservation répond rapidement en cas de questions. Parking gratuit pour la voiture appréciable. Très bien pour une famille de 4 personnes de passage pour qqs jours à Montreal.

I thought the rooms were beautiful and very clean.

I didn’t realize that there was no concierge and I needed support with a couple of things immediately. I had to send an email through booking.com to get the air conditioner to work properly.

Chambre vaste, confortable et propre, dans jolie résidence. Pas d’interaction avec le personnel (tout était automatisé) mais pas de besoin particulier donc pas de souci.

La résidence est proche du centre-ville (près de Mont Royal) mais attention, petite montée bien costaud sur 200 ou 300m, galère quand on a des bagages! Il y a des bus, ouf! Sinon, donne sur une avenue roulante, mais calme la nuit.

Superbe logement, très propre et bien situé. Literie confortable, cuisine bien. Un vrai plaisir d’y séjourner, je recommande vivement !

Penfield suite se donne de grands airs sans assumer derrière. Prise défoncée du mur, fils dénudés, abattant de wc plus petit que le cuvette, porte rouleau wc défait du mur, un seul fauteuil dans une chambre pour deux, aucun rangement à part une barre avec quelques ceintures. Par plateau bouilloire entendez juste une cafetière avec deux dosettes pour l’entièreté de votre séjour. Les serviettes de bains ne sont pas renouvelées non plus si vous restez plusieurs jours. J’ai dû demander à ce qu’on refasse le ménage vu la couleur des coins et la présence de toiles de poussière ou d’une cheveu dans le frigo. Quand on a un souci on nous envoie « l’équipe » : un gars qui ne parle qu’espagnol, un tournevis à la main. On ne vous parlera qu’anglais dans les messages et vous ne verrez rien d’autre du propriétaire que ses messages. La loi 101 impose pourtant de pouvoir être servi en français au Québec. Et On retrouve là prise dénudée recouverte grossièrement de scotch à notre retour … bravo le dépannage. Le lit est extrêmement bouillant à cause d’une protection plastique sur le matelas je pense, alors ça couine dès que vous vous retourner. La position du logement est moyenne malgré ce qu’indique la carte on est un peu loin de tout et le stationnement est très très compliqué. Vu la note et le prix je suis extrêmement déçue. Je ne recommande pas du tout.

Great location. Enjoyed the view from the room whilst doing some work of watching the squirrels on the trees. Comfortable bed. Came with coffee machine. Staff quick to answer to messages on app.

It was a top tier experience really clean and modern design. Bed was comfortable and its exterior and interior aesthetics were perfect. Everything u need for a stay in montreal were found. Bathrooms and rooms were clean too. Really smooth check in too

I stayed in another room at the start of my trip and stayed in this one at the end. I very much liked the room we had first. Both rooms were dirty but I would have not scored low for the first room however this room was not what I had expected. I paid good money to be given a lower quality room that was not what I had selected online and raised this when we arrived since my partner has a disability and struggled with the stairs. The shower was in the room. As a result it was often damp and smelt damp. The toilet blocked. You could barely move around the room. It was downstairs in the basement with near no natural light - again this was not the room I had booked and it was very expensive for what we had booked for.

The one chair provided was extremely short. It should be high enough so that the small table could hold a laptop comfortably, or to do writing etc. Also the shower head doesn’t sit properly in its holder. It came crashing down mid-shower for me one time and narrowly missed my head. The kerig coffee maker is a bit finicky. You have to coax it to work…

Un’ottima soluzione per essere vicini al centro! La camera è pulita e rispecchia le foto. È comoda per i pullman e infatti ci siamo trovati molto bene a girare con i mezzi pubblici. Super vicina al parco del Mont royal che si raggiunge a piedi facilmente dalla struttura. Molto comoda dal centre bell dove con 20 minuti a piedi siamo arrivati al centre bell dove abbiamo visto i linkin park. Insomma una bellissima opzione per soggiornare a Montreal.

Camas muy incómodas, colchones malos y os resortes haceb mucho ruido con cualquier movimiento, el hotel huele mal en los pasillos. La fuente de abajo nunca tiene agua. Pedí una habitación para persona mayor y me dieron una en lo más alto teniendo que subir escaleras muy altas con maletas ya que no hay asensor. No lo recomiendo.

Convenient location. The building has nice character features.

The sofa bed was broken when we arrived so my daughter slept on an air mattress for two nights. Some of the bedding was dirty with hairs all over it, it had clearly not been changed. Despite being promised some sort of refund I am still waiting. There is no extractor fan or vent in the bathroom so everything steams up after a shower and stays damp. There was a coffee machine and paper cups, nothing else like a microwave or bowls/cutlery. The main bed was broken underneath and made a lot of noise with any tiny movement. Everything seems to have been done cheaply. The shower mat was actually a draining mat for a kitchen sink drainer, so didn’t absorb any water, and the toilet seat was too small for the toilet so didn’t fit properly and didn’t stay up. All in all very disappointing and not worth the money.

La douche donne directement sur la chambre ce que ni m'était pas apparu de façon claire dans l'annonce. Assez délicat quand on part avec des amis. Chambre pour couple plutôt.

The suites are located in a lovely area of Montreal near the Museum of Fine Arts and not far from some good restaurants and cafes. You are in close walking distance of Mount Royal Park which is a beautiful spot. There is a fab cafe down the hill which you must try if you like good coffee - Cote Cafe. There was a sizeable fridge in the room which is great for storing drinks/ snacks. Although the suites are not staffed, staff were easily reachable on the Booking.com app and replied quickly to any queries. The bed and pillows are super comfy and the room was clean and tidy.

Although it was great to have a fridge in the room, it was quite noisy on and off so if you are noise sensitive then I'd advise ear plugs.

The bed was very soft and comfortable. The mini fridge was ideal for keeping drinks. The room had a nice simple design. The location was near some great areas nearby. Staff were fairly quick to respond vie email. There was a water cooler in the front lobby which we liked.

It felt odd that we saw no staff during the visit, with the front desk always unmanned when we passed by it. There was no hand soap in the bathroom which I was incredibly surprised at, as this is something I would consider to be a completely basic expectation. The toilet seat was loose when we arrived but this was resolved fairly quickly by the next day - I'm unsure how this went unnoticed by cleaning staff. The room we had was pretty cramped, and oddly the standard studio room looks more spacious than the superior studio room that we had. The steps to the building need checked out - some of the safety mats have gone missing.

The location was central, walking distance to some amenities and attractions. Our room was spacious, light, clean, nicely decorated. The shower cubicle was large, the shower powerful. It was good to have a fridge. We were able to park in a bay to the side.

The mattress on the bed was much too soft, and by the second night, I developed severe back pain, could hardly move, had to get up and try to sleep on the sofa at 1 or 2 AM, take pain killers, etc. I would recommend a firmer mattress. Without assurance of that I would not risk staying again. (There were no extra blankets, so my husband gave me the duvet and he slept under the sheet.) We would have welcomed clearer instructions or a map re. your parking. We were told 'behind' the building, so we went there, only to be told by a neighbour that it was private and we'd be towed. He told us it was to the side of the building. You provided a coffee machine, but no kettle or tea bags, and only 3 paper cups for 2 people for 2 full days. I prefer to drink out of proper cups/glasses. No glasses for our tooth brushes. Only 1 rail for towels. There was a locked door between us and an adjoining room and we could hear the other guests' conversation and them moving about. We didn't see a single member of staff all weekend. That felt odd. House rules and check out instructions were sent by email, but not at the start. I am not wedded to my cell phone, don't do emails on it. only saw this information after we got home.

The room had a smell of smoke, and we lost water without notice. I also wished there was a front desk for human interaction on site.

The bed was comfortable. Coffee maker. Hot water. Close to downtown. Semi quiet.

It was awkward to watch television. Air conditioner started making loud noise in the middle of the night and we had to turn it off. Not sure if the mats on the floor are sanitized between stays. They were dry when we arrived. They soak up the water off your feet. Then you stand on them coming and going with dirty shoes. Ewe. Hallways and stairwells were dirty. Front steps were falling apart that could cause a fall if you’re not careful. In the basement you can hear people coming and going thru the night.

La décoration, l’emplacement et l’accessibilité autonome en font un hôtel avec beaucoup de potentiel.

C’est scandaleux en 2025 d’offrir une chambre avec un lit cassé, bruyant, des lattes pliées, à ses clients. Si c’était la première fois que l’hôtel confrontait des clients à ce soucis : ça irait. C’est la deuxième au minimum (en 2024 il me semble)au vu des commentaires sur l’hôtel. Et quoi qu’il arrive, même réparés, les lits sont tout sauf confortables. Et que dire du fait qu’aucun remboursement, qu’aucun avantage n’est offert au client pour se faire pardonner ? Meme un papier d’excuse si vous êtes tant sur vos sous ! Si vous comptez passer une nuit blanche à Montréal, n’hésitez pas. Sinon, passez votre chemin, il y a tant de logement beaucoup mieux partout ailleurs !
