B&B San Remigio

Beautiful, comfortable room and common areas, good location close to Santa Croce and the Uffizi. Andrea was a wonderful and warm host!

While it is a residential area, sound still carried at night on the streets when people talking loudly walk by, which is to be expected in a European city. If you are a light sleeper, the B&B kindly provides earplugs - problem solved!

Loved the location, AC (we were there during Italys heat wave), and how accommodating Andrea was. We came back to the room several times during the day for a break from the heat and a quick nap sometimes, which was super easy because of how close it was to everything. That being said, it was also on a more quiet street so it wasn’t too loud - just some normal street noise. The bed was also very comfy and we slept great.

I do wish the patio had some lights to sit out at night!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and the shared kitchen well stocked with essentials.

It was difficult to find as it is in a small street tucked away from the main attractions. Good navigation skills are essential.

B & B San Remigio was the perfect accomodation for our time in Florence. Andrea was the most attentive host from the start - helping with our luggage when arriving to giving us great recommendations of what to do during our time there. Location was perfect, rooms were comfortable, traditional and clean. We have the most amazing stay here and would recommend to anyone travelling to Florence.

Even though the place is located in the center of the city, but it is quiet. The restaurants, cafes are couple of minutes by walk, so does the Taxi stand.

it was a really beautiful property and the room was very clean and nice and spacious and bed was very comfortable as well. Andrea is an extremely sweet man and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy! the location of the B&B is very central and very easy to walk to some of the main sites. will definitely be coming back!

we had some troubles with the electricity working and the shower wouldn’t drain properly which could very quickly make the bathroom very wet but very minor things for an amazing stay

Замечательное расположение в городе. Мы с большим удивлением обнаружили сохраненную фреску на потолке между санузлом и коридором. Город потрясающий. Удобно расположены апартаменты, чтобы повсюду ходить пешком. Единственное, возникли сложности в первый день, тк Google maps приводили в другую точку. Но это не беда хозяина, а скорее всего сбивался gps из-за высоких стен на зданий. На второй день уже научились ориентироваться по номерам домов)

The location was excellent - a short walk to all main tourist attractions in Florence, such as the Uffizi Gallery, leather markets, and the Duomo. The room was very large and comfortable. The owner kindly met us and helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs to the B&B (around three flights).

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly during summer heath. The location was excellent, with everything we needed within easy reach. The customer service was outstanding—super friendly, responsive, and flexible throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Great room, great AC and lovely bathroom. The overall facility including the shared facilites (kitchen and balcony) all excellent.

Property on 2nd floor with step stairs and no lift. Not a problem for me as travelling light but will be a problem if limited mobility or lots of luggage. Located close to all the major attractions although a 25 minute walk from the main railway station.

The room was big enough to move around in. It was close to everything and the staff/ owner were terrific.

The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows were to hard.

As janelas não isolavam nada. Acordei todas as noites bem dentro da madrugada, com berros de italianos e americanos bêbedos na rua, como se estivesse na rua ao pé deles. O isolamento sonoro para a rua deixou muito a desejar.

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was great, and everything we needed was nearby. The host was extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions. The atmosphere felt warm and relaxing, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to other travelers!

Andrea was an excellent, welcoming host. So helpful. The location is perfect- close to the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio as well as the Arno River, which made it easy to access. Beds were firm but comfortable. Very clean. Loved the patio and sat out there daily.

Other guests were a bit noisy so suggest ear plugs.

Great service and an excellent location. The owner offered thoughtful recommendations for food and transportation. The interior is charming, with a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely patio.

Perfect location - 5 minutes walk to the Uffizi Gallery, Santa Croce etc. Lots of nice little local cafes and restaurants in the area for lunches and dinners. Breakfast not provided in the B&B but facilities to make our own were provided or a couple of local cafes very close by. The host is charming, very helpful and having lived in England for 17 years he speaks perfect English.

We liked it all apart from the stairs up to the entrance.

The host was so welcoming and easily available. The room was perfectly clean and spacious. The location was great and the amenities of the full kitchen and deck were fabulous.

The outside noise was tough on some nights.

Perfekt läge, fint rum med vackert tak och mycket trevlig värd som gav bra info om sevärdheter, restauranger mm. Boendet har liten terrass och gemensamt kök för att fixa t ex frukost om man vill. Bor gärna där igen!

Enda negativa är lite för hårda kuddar i vår smak. Vore perfekt komplettera men en mjukare kudde per person.

Our stay at B&B San Remigo was absolutely wonderful! 1. The two of us had two very large suitcases, and Andrea was incredibly thoughtful, helping us carry them up and down the stairs during both check-in and check-out. We are truly grateful! 2. As soon as we met Andrea, he enthusiastically provided us with a map, introduced nearby transportation options and restaurants, and even explained in detail how to get from the B&B to the airport when we departed to Hong Kong. On our last day, he was still attentive, making sure we understood where to catch the bus and transfer at the airport. He is truly a host who genuinely cares about his guests. 3. The room was impeccably clean and well-equipped. We felt completely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. If we have the chance to visit Florence again, we will definitely choose to stay here again! Highly recommended!

Een mooie locatie in het hart van het centrum. Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Iedere dag werd de kamer schoon gemaakt. Echt een super verblijf gehad. Enige minpuntje (Als je dat al zo mag noemen)was dat ze er geen echte koffie hadden. Maar er zit een goede ontbijtgelegenheid om de hoek.

The stay was exceptional! The location was great, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the Florence-inspired decorative touches around the hotel. They paid great attention to detail and seemed to have thought of everything we might need during our stay. We accidentally broke the front door key on the first night, and the host, Andrea, was extremely helpful. He made sure we got back inside and provided replacement keys right away, and we didn’t have to pay for the damage. We also loved the little shared patio, which was perfect for enjoying a drink or having a smoke. 😌😌 We would highly reccomend the place! 🫶🏽⚜️

We had to pay city taxes seperately, which we were not aware of, but once we read the details of the booking online we found it was mentioned. Would be more convenient if it was also included in the price when we paid it online.

Andrea is a first-class host. Wonderful, functional, spacious room with a large bathroom in a character building in a super-convenient location. All the main sites are within 10 minutes walk. Excellent beds! Great to have a communal kitchen with fridge.

Noise. Perhaps we were unlucky. It was the weekend. There was a super-loud party nearby till 6am our first night. And earplugs did not stop us from being awoken the second night. Our third night (Sunday) was fine.

It was rustic, but with any necessary modern amenities and the central location really makes it easy for touring the area!
