Location, clean, staff was great, included breakfast. The gym was a basic gym but we just walked outside everywhere because of the location. We ate at In N Out next door to the property for lunch.

Noisy by the back door, and you can hear the locks on everybody’s room when they open and close doors.

Handdoeken worden niet dagelijks vervangen. Omdat het erg vochtig in de kamers bleef ondanks airco werden ze ook niet droog. Standaard zou dit dagelijks verschoond en complementair koffie/thee aangevuld moeten worden tenzij je zelf aangeeft dat het niet hoeft. Ontbijt bestek kun je niet eens je brood mee smeren, laat staan iets snijden. Meest goedkope wegwerp bestek doet af aan het eten. Zelfs bij Mc Donalds betere kwaliteit bestek. Verder matige faciliteiten, kleine gym, geen zwembad.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing! It would be a 10/10 for me if there were gluten free/vegan options for food.

The Springhill Suites Huntington Beach is a nice property conveniently located near the 405 freeway/Beach Blvd. It's a decent spot if you want to still be relatively close to Disneyland - but away from the hustle/bustle. Easy access to a major freeway helps you travel to other notable spots in the area. I had booked directly through Marriott, so was able to digitally check-in via their app, which made check-in on the day of arrival easy. Richard pleasantly greeted me, was prompt and professional - handed me my room keys, brief overview of the hotel, and pointed towards where the elevators are. He also handed me a little goody bag for being a Rewards member (albeit at a pathetically low tier, lol). My room requests for view/away from elevator was acknowledged. The room is larger than your average hotel room - sorta more like a studio setup. There's living space with a sofa that converts to a trundle bed, workstation with chair, kitchenette with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave, and then of course the bed and bathroom. It's nice to have a mini fridge/microwave since that's an amenity that a lot of hotels are doing away with. The fridge didn't have any controls to make it colder - but I imagine it's linked to the room's power system, which btw requires you to insert your room key into a slot near the door to enable power to your room. AC worked well - it's a loud wall unit, but you're in HB - the weather is relatively mild/comfortable most of the year, at least it was during my stay - so I didn't really need to use the AC for long. I just turned it on to see how loud it was/how easy it would be to manage to climate settings. Bed was comfy. More than enough pillows with four decent sized ones for my King bed. The lights on both sides of the bed are individually controllable - great if you're traveling with someone who doesn't share the same sleep schedule as you. Bathroom has a sliding door - no lock - something to keep in mind if traveling with someone. There isn't a solid partition either - the door has a frosted glass enclosure. Water pressure and temperature throughout my stay was great - no issues. There aren't individual toiletries anymore, just the bulk dispensers which I'm not a fan of - luckily, I just travel with my own toiletries. Complimentary breakfast was okay - nothing notable. I had the last crustless quiche - and that wasn't refilled for the rest of the morning. Waffle machine, cereal, powdered eggs, pork sausage, and a giant vat of oatmeal (with all the fixins on the side). Property itself has a lot of nice community areas. Decently equipped fitness center. No pool. A open air terrace on the 2nd floor with a giant chess board, pool table, a few lounges throughout the first floor with comfy seating. Security is great. All rooms are interior accessible, meaning their doors don't face outside. You have to walk past the front desk to get to the elevators. All side entrances are accessible only by swiping your room key, and the front doors lock after a certain time. Great if you're concerned about safety/traveling alone. *** I'm knocking off a star from my otherwise great stay because of the obnoxious parking fee of $15/night. I can't see why they would charge $15 for parking considering the area. Bella Terra is across the street, but I've never seen their lot completely full (which would cause people to overflow into other lots) - even on Black Friday. You're not remotely close to any of the major theme parks like Disney or Knotts. There was plenty of empty parking spaces in the lot when midnight rolled around. It just seems like a greedy cash grab "because they can". Usually, these extended stay brands offer complimentary parking, since some of their guests tend to stay for longer visits. $15 for parking just makes for a bad note on an otherwise pleasant stay. ***

The AC/heat was extremely loud. We had to turn it off to sleep. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain.

Nick, Rich, and one girl with curly hair and a bright smile (that unfortunately didn’t get her name) on the afternoon shift of 7/8, where awesome, great customer service, awesome personalities. We felt at home! Thank you all for making our work/semi vacation special! 😃

We had such an incredible experience staying at this hotel in Huntington Beach truly one of the best stays my family and I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of in a way that went far beyond our expectations. A huge thank you to Ashley and Richard, who made our stay unforgettable. Ashley was so sweet, warm, and attentive she made sure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Richard truly went above and beyond for our family. His level of care, professionalism, and willingness to help with anything we needed did not go unnoticed. He made us feel valued and cared for every step of the way. It’s rare to come across a team that delivers this level of service, and it made all the difference in our trip. I blew into LA impromptu on a Saturday night not expecting to have any issue finding a room at the fabulous Marriott Hotel chain, but the one I picked (Springhill Suites; closest to my venue) was all booked. I sat in the lobby trying to figure out my next move, when The Gilbert (who claims to be “just a Bellman”) asked if there was anything he could do for me tonight. He didn’t know the Pandora’s Box that he opened but he most gracefully and kindly helped me navigate setting up my Bonvoy account (I hadn’t fully set it up - oops), made sure I wrote down and took screenshots of all pertinent information that I might need. He helped me book at another nearby Marriott and ensured I had all the information I needed to navigate my way there. (I say navigate because I’m from Sacramento and we have 3 freeways… I’m sure that paints the picture). Then he also reassured me that I was perfectly capable of getting to my destination hotel (he was right) and that everything was going to be okay (he was right on that count as well). All this to say, I’ve never been disappointed by any of the staff at a Marriott; they are wonderful human beings helping guests have an outstanding experience. From the Managers to the kitchen staff and custodial and maintenance crews and to anyone who works there, I’ve seen nothing but smiling, happy Team Members, with wonderful spirits helping everyone, guest or not. This is the kind of establishment that should be held up as a model for other businesses. I’m so impressed with them; I’ll never stay at another hotel chain unless I must. Great location, near shopping, markets and In &out. Staff was absolutely wonderful and very professional - Ashley, Amanda and Richard were warm and welcoming from the moment we walk through the door. Greeted by name every time we arrive and left. Hotel was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

It was clean convenient.

I accidentally left a Christmas present in my car. So after I realized it I called the office to inquire about a package that was left. The front office was very quick to say no nothing was left but however as soon as I mentioned that I would provide a cash reward all of the sudden and miraculously the gift appeared and it was available to me. That just struck me as so dishonest. I paid the bribe got my gift and went on my way. I will think twice about staying there again because trust is gone.

My partner and I stay at this hotel once a year for work and we always enjoy it. However, on this most recent trip, we were really upset with how they handled a more serious situation. I found a bug on my arm while lying in the bed. When I pulled back the covers, there were about 10 tiny bugs that started jumping frantically all over the place. I grabbed a few and put them in a water cup so I could try and identify them and make sure they weren't bed bugs. Turns out they were fleas (I ID'd them based on Google images). I started shaking out my clothes in the bathroom, and a few dropped off of me. Every time I went back to search, I found more. I got really freaked out and called the front desk. They told me to come down and when I did, their response was surprisingly dismissive. There was minimal acknowledgment of the situation and no sense of urgency at all. One employee (male front desk - maybe the manager) offered a very brief apology ("sorry bout that here's your new room key"). They treated switching rooms as if it were a favor. It was very bizarre and not the type of customer service you'd expect after finding bugs in a hotel room. It left me feeling like I had done something wrong. I went back up to the room with the employee, and another man came in to start doing an inspection. The front desk employee excused himself immediately, and I sat there while the man searched the room. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to stay or leave. There was almost no communication. I started asking questions because it was awkward. He said he couldn't see anything and that they normally don't have issues with fleas. I eventually loaded all of my stuff onto a luggage cart, moved rooms, and never heard anything further. No one confirmed what kind of bugs were found, no follow up was provided, and no meaningful apology was ever offered. I left with multiple bug bites on my legs. The overall tone felt like they were downplaying the situation in order to squash it but that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. At times, it almost felt like they were suspicious of me. I do not have animals, so I know for a fact that I had nothing to do with the infestation. We’ve enjoyed staying here in the past, which made this experience even more disappointing. The lack of communication, concern, and accountability turned what should have been a manageable issue into a very upsetting one.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The room was exceptionally spacious and appeared to have been recently remodeled, offering a clean and comfortable environment. While we encountered a few minor difficulties during our stay, the front desk staff—particularly Nicholas—handled the situation with professionalism and ensured that everything was resolved promptly. He also provided excellent recommendations for nearby places to dine, which truly enhanced our experience. The rooftop terrace offered a relaxing atmosphere with a variety of games and entertainment options, making it an excellent place to unwind. Additionally, the hotel’s convenient location near shopping outlets and grocery markets made it easy to explore the area and enjoy some leisure time. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would gladly stay here again.

She gave me great service, was able to go above and beyond,.accomodsting my needs and those of my family and friends. She was friendly, had a great personality and made the evening fun and exciting.
